"Well, I have some news too." Carter said. "It's hasn't even been a week since part of the Antarctic ice sheet broke up, but the world's already noticing. That much ice being dumped in the ocean is going to cause a problem. It was already being affected by climate change. So we're letting the world believe that's what caused it. But the icebergs are going to float. Some of them are going to be a problem for navigation as well. And they're going to melt, which is going to raise sea levels. McKay caused a far bigger problem then we first thought."

"Our people did terraforming. There should be information in Atlantis' database on repairing damaged climates as well. There should be a way to stabilize the situation." Alexander said. "It's just a matter of finding it or coming up with it."

"We have another problem. The island you towed the outpost to is in international waters. Different laws and treaties come into effect in international waters then in Antarctica. The President wants to know if you can move the outpost to the moon."

"Yes, I can tow it there. But the shield would have to be maintained full time. The Potentia can handle it, it'll last for centuries. But the outpost doesn't have a ring transporter or Asgard transporter. People would be trapped there and no one can be there while I tow it, because the shield will have to be down for me to tow it."

"The Asgard High Council has decided to assign an Asgard teacher to us. They'll help us install a transporter on the outpost. His name is Hermiod, by the way." Carter told them.

"And the other matter?"

"Since the Asgard feel they owe me - "

"Because you saved their Homeworld by blowing up the ship they named for me!" Jack interjected.

"Which is now the name of an entire class of ships." Daniel put in.

"Oh, yeah. Right. Still, a ship! Named after me!"

"You're not going to let that go anytime soon, are you, sir?" Carter asked drolly.

"Wasn't planning on it, no."

"Anyway, since they feel they owe me, they've agreed. Hermiod will do it when he gets here."

"Good, then we introduce her to Jon and watch from a safe distance." Alexander grinned.

"I swear, if I didn't know for a fact that you fathered this baby, I'd wonder if you were still a child yourself!" Corda giggled, it felt good to let some of the stress out. Maybe that was why Jack had started the whole thing in the first place.

"Teal'C returned the shield emitters and the pulse pistols, those are sweet, by the way." Jack said.

"And enough to outfit seven teams right now, four per team, with two safeties." Alexander said.

"It'll be a big help since there are still Jaffa loyal to the Gou'ald, even if a significant number of them should turn once word of the victory at Dakara starts to spread." Daniel added.

"Indeed." From Oz.

"That's Teal'c's line!" Jack protested.

"He's not here." Johnathan pointed out. "And they're both laconic."

"True." From Oz again.

"Ok, point made." Jack grumbled.

"So, to get serious, we need to figure out the modulation of Earth's energy." Alexander said. "Then we set the weapon on Dakara at that modulation and aim it thru the Stargate. We tell the Jaffa we're test firing it and don't let them see the address we dial. I don't like lying to them, but the existence of daemona is Classified by the President, himself."

"Can the scanners on the Altimah find the correct modulation?" Carter asked.

"Yes. It shouldn't take long."

"Excellent. I'll inform the President. Anything else we need to address?" Jack asked.

"I don't think so, but if anything comes up, I'll let you know. Oh, actually. We still need a Chief Medical Officer for the expedition - ."

"You can't have Frazer! "

"Not what I was going to say, Jack. But, Brightman on the other hand, deserves to have a promotion and is ready to lead a department. She's filled in for Dr. Frazer several times and has been the night shift doctor for more then two years. I want to offer her the position with the expedition. We also want Major Lorne."

"How many of my best people do you want?"

"Lorne would be invited anyway, Jack. He's of Alteran descent. The President wants everyone we can get to go, remember?"

"Eventually, they're going to have to expand their search. Right now they're just checking people in the know and at the Academies." Corda said.

"Well, we have to start with them. Expanding means more people find out before we're ready for them to find out." Jack grumbled. "Alright, I gotta call the President. Where will you guys be?"

"We're heading back to Sunnydale for now. Our new plant is ready for production and Corda's still hiring people, but we've got two ready to start. Oz and Johnathan have been working on a satellite that can detect the energy that leaks from the tears, they're close to finishing. And our family needs to know about the baby. I'm thinking Grandpa Giles is going to faint. Who's in on a bet?"

"$10 says he goes purple." Johnathan said.

"$10 on 'Oh dear', three times." Corda said.

$10 on 'Oh my'." From Oz.

"Done. Let's go home, people. I'll call Faith and them on the way and have them gather for a family meeting." Alexander led them out of the conference room.

"They really are a family." Daniel said. "Just like us."

"Indeed, as Teal'C would say." Jack agreed.

"You won't get an argument from me." Carter said.
