Rose was through governing incompetent ninnies, so in her state of repressive rage, she pointed to Grant. Not realizing it, Grant grinned and began to laugh. Joey, who'd stopped being blasted in astral space by Psimon, looked down and saw that Grant had something in his hands.

"I didn't get you hopped up on popping the pills daddy gave me to see you fail, but what the hell." Grant shrugged and pressed the button once, and only one time as the area filled with the sounds of screams and painful moans.
"Dear god! Bloody well, there it is!" Jenny gasped and zoomed away from Lightening as he soon noticed that the shock was…not coming from him. Somehow, however it was, Raven and Eii swept over to the Titan ally as he seemed to be coming out of quite a pickle indeed.
Dick, Rose, Slade and Kori all were electrocuted. Rose must have been tricked and the choice was so very clear to Slade. Grant had used her to have his hand at a throne not worth keeping. "What…. did you…do to us?" Dick gritted his teeth and tried to stand, but the trigger was not a fan of letting them off easy.
"You won't get in my way. The old man gets it, though." He grinned. "Don't you, pop?" Grant leaned over and sneered at his dad, the shock strong, too alien strong as this Ravager had not only trapped the heroes, but he had outwitted his sibling. Which meant…
This was a trap for some very coy mice, and they were all in danger!

"I took it upon myself to set up a transport to the HIVE base, Rosie." Grant told his enemy, his replacement. "Dad hates us both, but now you might have to just give up the plan that I told YOU to complete. It's called BRAIN WASHING." Dragged out the jock -teen. "DUH. Did you think Psimon was going to listen to a noob? Those were my orders behind your cocky back! I've been back from the dead because HIVE's H.Q and I really get one another."
"They….hurt us….why?? WHY??" Rose roared out, yet Grant pressed the button, Slade, the rest and she on their bellies and groaning loudly. "Why? Because the fact that Jackal SAVED me is why YOU – why you just don't know s –
"You're selling out your own kind!" Rose scolded the boy. "I was trying to get us to get away from all of this fighting. Slade…. he would be done, and so would the HIVE and the heroes…. you…you sold out to em' from day one." He spat before he'd decided to up her tolerance to a few static shocks. Rose's skin rippled as she endured, unlike her dad as he got back up, only to go down. Again, a typical bunch of vampires.
"I'm the only half – meta here that should be in the winner's circle. Once I give the HIVE the gift of my loyalty, I'm made for longer than you'll be standing."
Slade moved his hands to the band around his throat. Dick watched in horror as Slade was shocked again, but still he tugged. Dick's eyes and Kori too, as she dragged her band to bend it lightly.
"No!!" Grant shouted. "You are supposed to-
Rose snapped hers at the same time as Dick's. "I knew you still cared –
"Shut up. My brother needs to learn about boundaries." She scoffed. "Dad? Got a few more ounces we can pound into the brain – crew?"
"With pleasure, my dear. Might be fun to see them run." He cracked his neck, the muscles bulging and settling, enough to make Starfire marvel at the stress of the situation.
"They…even fight as a family should? Is that, the, correct?"
Dick didn't answer, yet Rose was happy to shoot a grin to Kori over her shoulder.
"It's an old tradition. Try to keep up…!"
Dick watched beside Kori as Slade went after Psimon, and Rose after Grant who took off with the feet of a marathon runner all but five times. Slade didn't wait up as Dick was busy searching for Joey. Eli and Raven came round to help him, but….

Raven gasped, a hand to his temple. "We can't bring him back…he's been away –
"No way!" Gar slapped his face. "What about you and Eli, together?"
"He's not in this dimension." The ice – mancer shook his head. "Maybe, or if he's on his way back…" Eli snapped his fingers.
"Call him. The Herald is our Titan. He'd be in this facility. We can't give up on anyone."
Cy nodded to Raven and the kids, who got Johnny to grow large enough to crack some walls.
"Ready to play "de – construction crew, Johnny?" Melvin asked her best friend. He gave a wacky teddy – nightmare grin.
"He's happy, so…." Raven sat up and looked to Jenny Sparks.
"Why not find our teammates, blokes? Perfect time as any, I'd think it is."
Gar cracked his neck into a painful shape before turning into a vulture. Cy cracked his knuckles at the same time, only to find BB's sequence a bit, bizarre.
~ I'm so game. Anyone else know how to dig a tunnel inside of a secret island super – villain's base? Anyone? ~

Dick and Kori eventually joined in stopping Psimon; he was trying to contact his superior. Dick let Kori twist the man's robes around a pillar like a bow. "Is it not unwise to leave him with –
"Eyes."
"Right." Starfire picked up the closest cloth of a fallen guard and ripped. The guard squealed and covered himself as Psimon was technically blindfolded.
"Robin?" Star retrieved the comm unit the man was after. "This was on the villain's waist."
"We can't use it yet." Dick told the princess. "Slade and Rose won't hold back. At this rate, they'll both be back to breaking the law. Taking innocent lives…. we can't let them –
"I shall assist!" Starfire lifted her ally up by his under arms and to the air, they flew.
"Ah…. right there! Get me down lower, I need to spot him." Dick was clear, so Starfire made sure to do what she was able in such a dense brush of forested woods. The jungle canopy was where they'd made themselves land, Slade suddenly came pouncing out at Dick. A pointed dagger of wood, a stake in hand.
"Slade! Stop!"
The man was feral in this state, totally unbound of his cooler personality. A true, deadly hunter.
However, Kori had star bolts as she struck him – almost as easily as a bop on the nose.
" Anch! Wh –
"Get off…. please?" Dick waited for Slade to come to his senses, which he did with a click of his tongue and crossed arms. "My bad."
"It was more than, "the bad that you have done!" Kori huffed and went to recover her leader. "We are in pursuit of the Ravager number one."
"He's long gone."
"Where is Rose then?" Dick sat up, his hair bristling while Slade just lazily leaned into the tree of their chosen landing sight.
"She took off."
" Slade!" Dick stomped him foot, Slade glaring back his irritation being paper thin. "Would you rather make it so that someone is safe?" Sneered the villain. "Grant tried to have you put in a facility, Grayson. As a thing for the HIVE to experiment on. Rose can beat him –
"She should not." Starfire interjected, cautiously. "Rose is…mostly, like us. She is not willing to hurt –
"You don't know her, never have." Slade cut off the naïve teen. "Rose was born to do this. Grant tried to follow in my footsteps and ruined himself for the chance to become a "Ravager." It killed him, twice. And her?" Slade seemed to find humor in his own words. "Rose can't make up for any past mistakes."
"You mean, by manipulating your own kids, you made them believe that they shared YOUR fate." Dick snipped. "Yeah, as if she'd be okay without knowing that you and Grant aren't seeking to understand –
"She was born in my…" Slade gritted his jaw. "She's enhanced, by blood. She can't change."
"So, what." Dick snorted back, fed up with Slade's melodrama. "Slade, Joey fought back." He added with arms crossed over his chest. "Just like Rose, Terra never felt like SHE had a choice. Which shows how little you can trust ANYONE !"
"Robin…"

"But…. there is a problem, and I won't let it go until you get that she's never coming back to stay with you. Not her or Grant for what you claim you did do to them…!"

So, short but makes for a fun bit of crazy drama. We'll see…. Grant snapped and so did…Rose? Find out!
