The last day of Magus' visit, despite saying bye last night he 'Pops in' to the café to see Angus again before his train leaves. and supposedly getting a drink to go. Which is nice. But Magus is still there half an hour later, getting a house-blend spiced tea (today's special) and a scone to take with him. Today he Compliments Mrs Cosie on the bread, some of the furniture and asks about the building's timer frames. And then because he spends so long in the shop after that, discussing the upcoming barbeque and Davenport's last postcard, that Magnus misses the not only the first but a second train to Raven's Roost.

Angus has no idea why Magnus is getting the train really. Kravitz could just transport him there, even if he is off duty. Angus could have even seen him off at the station? He's sure Mrs Cosie wouldn't have minded a shift swap. But Magnus wouldn't hear of it.
"Didn't want to interrupt Ango's work." Yeah right!

Angus isn't sure how someone like Magnus isn't bored in the quiet little cafe. But just like he has every day he just hangs out, Rustic charm a plenty. There's still a bit a buzz about the café of 'Another of the birds' visiting after the twins first 'official' one. But now Magnus is such a normal occurrence the regulars are all that bothered by him. (Well, Never winter Halflings aren't bothered by much. Not really.)

"Every cake and treat is really good." He insist to a customer who's not sure what to pick. "Right, Mrs C? And nice young man whom I have never met?"

Mrs Cosie is flattered; but mostly baffled. (Mostly at being called "Mrs C".) And she give Angus many many 'What on Faerun?' looks.

Angus can only shrug and make a "These crazy customers, right?" smile back, while he takes another two orders of Chump Special. (one with cinnamon).

He has to then fetch the mop and bucket. Because Gora'thien the Blood-Soaked jumped on Magnus in a surprise attack. Both Flo and Ms Cosie tell them off for attempted brawling IN the shop. And both fighters meekly take it outside. Angus, knowing Magnus and that as much he loves free stuff, will just buy another drink, remakes his dad's tea. not even bothering with the to-go cup this time but a mug.

Magnus misses his train, again.
