Chapter 2: Part of Your World:
Pearl's POV:
I was looking for more items for my collection.
"This is a bad idea, Pearl," says Slippery.
"Slippery, when have I ever had a bad idea," I asked.
"Pearl, every idea you've ever had got us in danger," says Slippery.
I then saw something, but then a shark came. It then chased us. We were lucky to get away.
Bai Tza's POV:
"Look at her," I said, "still wasting her time with those silly trinkets. Well, one day, I will finally be rid of her. I just need the perfect plan. Opportunity will be knocking on my door soon."
Pearl's POV:
I then showed the human items to my seagull friend.
"This is a 'whatchamacallit'," says Steven, "humans use it to wear on their heads and this is a 'hoobydooby', humans use it to make music."
Hearing the word music, made me realize I forgot something! "The concert!"

I got in trouble with my Father.
"Daddy, I can explain," I said.
"I got this," says Slippery, "there was this shark and it tried to eat us, but then there was this seagull..."
"Seagull," asks my Father, "how can you meet with a seagull underwater?"
"UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh..." I began.
"You were in the surface, weren't you," asks my Father, "haven't I told you to stay away from those barbaric humans?"
"But what about Ela," I asked.
"Admittedly, she's the only descent human," says my Father, "but do you remember the vikings that invaded us? Remember what happened to General Tarron?"
"Daddy..."
"Stay away from humans!" I then swam away. Slippery followed me.
Porcus' POV:
"Do you think I was too hard on her," asks King Pacific.
"Nahh, if she were my daughter, I'd show her discipline."
"That gives me an idea," says King Pacific, "Porcus, you will keep an eye on her!"
"What?"
Pearl's POV:
Slippery and I were in my secret treasure cave.
Pearl: I just don't see things the way he does. I don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad.
Look at this stuff. Isn't it neat?
Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?
Wouldn't you think I'm the girl,
the girl who has everything?
Look at this trove, treasures untold
How many wonders can one cavern hold?
Looking around here, you'd think
Sure, she's got everything
I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty
I've got whooz-its and whats-its galore
You want thing-a-mabobs? I've got twenty
But who cares? No big deal. I want more!
I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin'
Walkin' around on those...
What do you call 'em? Oh, feet
Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'

Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free,
wish I could be
part of that world
What would I give
if I could live
outta these waters?
What would I pay
to spend a day
warm on the sand?
Betcha on land
they understand
Bet they don't reprimand their daughters
Bright young women,
sick of swimmin',
ready to stand
And I'm ready to know what the people know
Ask 'em my questions and get some answers

love to explore that shore up above?
Out of the sea,
wish I could be

We then realized Porcus was there.
"Porcus," I said.
"Wait 'til your father finds out about this place," says Porcus.
"You're not going to tell him, are you," asks Slippery.
"This place is a death trap," says Porcus, "plus, that plastic arm creeps me out."
"I like it," I said.
"I... have been meaning to talk to you about it," says Slippery.
"Now, come on," says Porcus. As we were moving, I saw something and decided to swim up to it.
