Chapter 4: Under the Sea & Wild Uncharted Waters:

King Pacific's POV:

I was swimming with General Leith.

"Your Highness, have you noticed anything strange about your daughter," asks Leith.

"Which one," I asked.

"Right, sorry. Pearl."

We then saw. She was acting strange. She then swims off. "I see what you mean," I said.

"Isn't it obvious," says Ianthe, "Pearl's in love!"

Now I see what it is.

Pearl's POV:

I made up my mind. I have to see him again. Just as I was swimming, Porcus stopped me.

"That is a terrible idea," says Porcus, "down here is your home! The human world is a mess. Life under the sea is way better than anything they got up there."

Porcus: The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake
You dream about going up there
But that is a big mistake
Just look at the world around you
Right here on the ocean floor
Such wonderful things around you
What more is you looking for

Under the sea,
Under the sea.
Darling, it's better down where it's wetter
Take it from me

Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devoting, full-time to floating
Under the sea

Porcus/Lobster: Down here, all the fish is happy
Porcus: As off through the waves they roll
Porcus/Lobster: The fish on the land ain't happy
Porcus: They sad 'cause they in their bowl

But fish in the bowl is lucky
Porcus/Lobster: They in for a worser fate
One day when the boss get hungry...
Deep Voice Fish: Guess who's gonna be on the plate

Porcus: Uh-oh!
Under the sea,
Under the sea.
Nobody beat us, fry us, and eat us
In fricassee!

We what the land folks loves to cook.
Under the sea, we off the hook.
We got no troubles; life is the bubbles!
Under the sea, (Snails: Under the sea)
Under the sea (Snails: Under the sea)

Since life is sweet here, we got the beat here
Naturally
Snails: Naturally-y-y-y

Porcus: Even the sturgeon and the ray
They get the urge and start to play
We got the spirit, you got to hear it
Under the sea

The newt play the flute
The carp play the harp
The plaice play the bass
And they sounding sharp
The bass play the brass
The chub play the tub
The fluke is the duke of soul (Fish: Yeah!)

The ray, he can play
The lings on the strings
The trout rocking out
The blackfish, she sings
The smelt and the sprat
They know where it's at
And oh, that blowfish blow!

Slippery gestured for me to follow him.

Porcus: Yeah
Under the sea
(Chorus: Under the sea)
Under the sea
(Chorus: Under the sea)
When the sardine begin the beguine
It's music to me
(Chorus: Music is to me)

What do they got? A lot of sand
We got a hot crustacean band
Each little clam here know how to jam here
Under the sea

Each little slug here cutting a rug here
Under the sea

Each little snail here know how to wail here
That's why it's hotter under the water
Yeah, we in luck here down in the muck here
Under the ssssssssseeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!

Porcus' POV:

After I was done, I then realized Pearl was gone. What am I going to do with that girl?

"Porcus," says General Leith, "the King wants to see you."

He knows!

Yoi's POV:

I was at my palace, thinking of the mysterious girl who saved my life. I have been wondering who she is and where she came from. Could it be that the gods have sent this woman to help me recover from the loss of Ashi? Maybe if I hear her voice again, I will find the answers that I seek.

Pearl: Ah, ah

Yoi: All I ever wanted
Was the peaceful land, ocean, and sky
Freedom from the darkness I have cry
Now all I am is haunted

As days and hours roll by
All I ever think about is you
There you are, over me
Taking me with your song to

Pearl: Ah, ah, ah

Yoi: Wild uncharted waters
Miles beyond the sea
I was darkness bound, I had almost drowned
'til you came around, and you found me

Now I am on the shoreline
But I'm still lost at sea
In these wild uncharted waters
Come find me again

All I do is wonder
Who you are and where you'll bе
In my mind, your melody goes on
Stronger than thе undertow

The night you rescued me
Silhouetted by the rising dawn
Woah, over you
I cannot get over you

In wild uncharted waters
Beyond where man can see
When your eyes outshine the horizon line
And you're finally real, here beside me

I'm right here on the shoreline
I'm right where you left me
And your voice is like
A siren that guides me to

Wild uncharted waters
Alone, just you and me
And I hope you're there in the open air
There's no map or compass to guide me, no

Time may change the shoreline
But time will not change me
If it takes my life
I will finally find you again

In uncharted waters
Come find me aaaaaaaaagggggggggaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnn!!!

The woman may have saved me from drowning, but her voice has saved me from my depression. But I know deep in my heart that because of her actions, she is pure, good, and real. And I am sure that she's out there somewhere, waiting for someone to find her.

To Be Continued

Yoi's song is a metaphor for the fact that Pearl not only saved Yoi but also saved him from his depression after losing Ashi. In the next chapter, King Pacific finds out.
