Chapter 6: Legs:
Pearl's POV:
I woke up and I was on land and... I have legs! This is amazing. I then got up and... I fell. They're kind of hard to get used to. Walking's new for me.
"HUMAN LEGS," says Porcus, "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? Okay, I'll get down and talk to your father. He'll fix this and... you'll be miserable. Fine." I then kissed Porcus.
"So, what do we do now," asks Slippery.
"First, we're going to have to get her something to wear," says Porcus.

I was wearing what I think is part of a sail from a human ship. It's not like there's a clothing store nearby.
"I'm sure it's around here!" It was Yoi. "We have to find my sword! It's my most treasured item!"
Porcus and I looked at Slippery. "I didn't know," says Slippery, "he should've left it at home!"
Yoi and his friends then found me. I waved.
"It's you... you're the girl... the girl who saved me," says Yoi, "what is your name?"
I couldn't speak.
"I'm guessing she's not the speech type," says the human boy.
"You can't speak," I asked, "I guess I was wrong. Well, come, you should have something appropriate to wear."
"Yoi, we found this girl out here where your sword has disappeared," says the human girl, "I do not trust her."
"We should at least help her before she loses that sail," says the human boy.
"Fair point," says the human girl.
Ela's POV:
I was cleaning the beach when I saw a Japanese Prince and his friends with a... familiar looking girl... wait, is that... Pearl? No, Pearl's a mermaid, isn't she? Pearl has a mixture of Blue, Teal, Green, and Purple hair, a mixture of Cyan, Aquamarine, Turquoise, and Teal eyes, a mixture of White, Silver, Brown, and Yellow skin, and a mixture of Purple, Pink, Orange, and Blue fish tail. But this Pearl look-a-like has black hair with blonde highlights, chocolate brown eyes, and wheatish toffee skin tone.
Ela: You always said you were the compassionate one

Pearl's human appearance is based is a mixture of an Indian Human Woman and a Pacific Islander Human Woman which is a reference to Lemuria being located in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It's also to celebrate Asian Pacific American Month. In the next chapter, Pearl learns about Aku.
