Chapter 10: The Immortal:

Li Tieguai's POV:

I am Li Tiegual. I am one of the Eight Immortals. Some think I'm mentally disturbed, but that's just because they judge. I am now searching for the Water Demon. The rightful ruler of Atlantis sent me a message, but now I need to find her. I then noticed a young girl, her face and hair is normal but her body was pitch blacked. She motions me to follow which I do until she was one, I then heard someone singing.

I peeked through a window and saw the young girl again but there was something different about her then the young girl who led me here.

Bai Tza: Ah, ah, ah, ah

What a lovely little bride I'll make

Things are working out according to my ultimate design

I saw the woman's reflection and realized that the reflection shows her true form as the Demon Sorceress of Water.

Now I see what is going on. The young girl who leads me here was actually a ghost and was trying to tell me that the Demon Sorceress of Water was impersonating her. First, I must find this mermaid she mentions.

Pearl's POV:

A part of me was happy that Ashi came back, which means that she can be with Yoi once again, but a part of me was also sad, which means that I can never be with Yoi ever again. I felt there is no reason for anything. I don't know what to do.

Pearl: Risking it all only to fall
Back where I started
Back near the shore, back to before
You took my hand

Betcha on land they understand

"Judging by the fact that you have sea creatures around you," says a strange man, "I assume you are the mermaid." I was confused. "I am Li Tiegual of the Eight Immortals and I have news for you. The man you love is getting married to the Water Demon." I was shocked. "I saw her looking at her reflection. She was disguised by young girl whose ghost led to her. It... occurs to me now that I could've banished her then, but right now, we may need each other to stop her. So, are you in?"

I looked at the ship. I realized that Ashi was trying to save Yoi from a fate worse than death even after being erased from existence. I decided to swim to the ship and also find a way to save the man that I love from the Demon Sorceress of Water who is also the wicked Queen of Atlantis.

All my friends helped me get to the ship. I'm starting to climb up to the deck and also find a way to save the man that I love from the Demon Sorceress of Water who is also the wicked Queen of Atlantis. I know that I'm repeating myself but yeah, I'm really mad about what Bai Tza's doing.

Bai Tza's POV:

I was beyond happy because my plan is actually working by tricking that prince into believing that I'm his beloved Ashi, who has come back from being erased from existence, and soon Pearl's life will be mine!

Bai Tza: Merfolk are fools, so weak and flimsy

Bai Tza: Victory has been long overdue

As me and the human prince were standing at the altar, I took a look at the sun, and it was getting ready to set. As my plans were finally coming to fruition, I suddenly heard some strange sounds...

Pearl's POV:

As the wedding was taking place, all the sea creatures interfered. They were messing with everything. I then got on the ship. Eventually, Bai Tza's necklace was broken and I got my voice back. When I got my voice back, I started singing.

"Pearl?" says Yoi, when he snapped out of it.

"Yoi!" I finally say his name with happiness.

"It was you," says Yoi as he runs towards me.

"Wait, so she is the girl," asks Kuromi.

"Get away from her," says Bai Tza with her real voice.

"Wait a minute. Is that what you sound like, which means that if your voice isn't Ashi's voice, which also means that if you're not Ashi, then who are you really?" says Kuroki.

"It was you all along," says Yoi as he closes his eyes.

"Yoi... I wanted to tell you..." I said as I closed my eyes.

"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!" shouted Bai Tza as I thought that she was gonna lose.

Just as Yoi and I were about to kiss, I reverted back to my true form. which made everyone including Yoi, Kuroki, and Kuromi shocked.

"YOU'RE TOO LATE!" shouted Bai Tza who was unfortunately happy as well as laughing at my situation.

"YOU'RE ALL TOO LATE!" shouted Bai Tza who then transformed back to her true form and slither towards me as well as grabbing me. "So long, Lover Boy," says Bai Tza as she takes me back to the ocean.

"Now it's time to end your life," says Bai Tza.

"Not while I'm here," says my Father as he shows up.

Bai Tza and my Father then fight, using their tridents against each other. They were blasting at each other. Then Bai Tza won and took my Father's trident and their combined the two.

"Now I have the power of both Atlantis and Lemuria," says Bai Tza.

I tried to stop her, but she threw me away.

Yoi's POV:

"If I had my sword, I can help," I said.

"About that," says a mermaid, "I'm Tyene, a friend of Pearl's and according to her best friend, Slippery... Pearl's Father kind of broke your sword."

"Wonderful," says Kuromi.

Pearl's POV:

Bai Tza defeated me and then she started growing.

"Now, all will suffer before my power," says Bai Tza.

Pearl was both happy and sad at the same time because she thought Ashi came back, but then she found that Bai Tza was using her appearance in order to ruin Pearl's attempt to kiss Yoi. Ashi's ghost helps save the day by showing Li Tieguai who the person impersonating her really is. The Her Life Will Be Mine is actually based on Whitney Avalon's The Ocean Will Be Mine Song. I am not taking their ideas without giving credit. In the next chapter, Bai Tza gets banished.
