Chapter 11: The Chi Spell:

Pearl's POV:

Bai Tza was now a giant sea monster with multiple tentacles as well as razor sharp teeth and everyone tried to stop her, but that wasn't going to discourage me. I then remembered that I could sing again, and a mermaid's singing can control water.

I got on a rock and looked at Bai Tza and started to sing.

Pearl: This is where I belong
Beneath the clear wide blue here
I feel completely new in here in the world above

It's like my life was wrong
And somehow now, at last I'm in
My own skin
Up here in the world above

There's so much light here
Light and space
The sun's so bright here
upon my face

It feels so right here
Warm as love
Life seems to be
almost calling to me
from this strange new world aaaaaaaaabbbbbbbbbooooooooovvvvvvvvveeeeeeeee!!!

By singing, I was able to have the water contain Bai Tza. But I wasn't sure what to do next. Then the Immortal began chanting something.

"Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao," the Immortal started saying, "Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao, Yu Mo Gui Gwai Fai Di Zao!"

Then a portal opens, and Bai Tza was sucked through. The Water Demon is no more.

Grergu's POV:

"Pearl has used her gift to contain the Water Demon to save both land and sea," I said, "who agrees to let the merfolk keep her gift?"

"I agree," says Ymroth.

"I agree," says Shenno.

"I agree," says Mikyno.

"I agree," says Pelboss.

"I agree," says Fezinth.

"While I also like that mermaid," says Lodhuphiss, "but I do not think we should declare them all worthy just because of an act one mermaid does."

"You are correct," I said, "so, we will do this, if a mermaid or merman performs any evil act, they will lose their gift."

We then made it so.

King Pacific's POV:

Pearl was staring at Yoi.

"She really does love him, doesn't she," I asked.

"I always say, sometimes, you have to let kids be free," says Porcus.

"You always say that," I asked. Porcus shrugs. "Well, then there's only one more problem."

"And what is that, your majesty?" asks Porcus.

"How much I'm going to miss her..." I said.

Porcus looks up at me in confusion. My trident glows and then I have it touch the water. It forms a glowing golden path to Pearl.

Pearl's POV:

I look down, I was surprised to see my tail glows and I smiles at my father. Then I noticed something in my hand which I realize that it's basically my father's way of apologizing to Yoi for what happened earlier.

Yoi's POV:

As I was waking up, I saw Pearl rising from the water, wearing a periwinkle, glittering kimono as well as holding my sword. She walks towards him, arms open wide, on legs. I ran up to her as she gave me back my sword, and I wrapped my arms around her waist as she wraps her arms around my neck and then we kissed.
