Chapter 7: Mother and Daughter:

Utako's POV:

"SSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPP!" It was my Mother.

We were surprised to see each other. "You're a mermaid," we both said.

"Pearl, so good to see you again," says Tiburón.

"You stay away from my daughter," says my Mother whose real name is apparently Pearl! What has she been lying to me about?!

"You're right, after all you've done for her... like lying to her all her life. But hey, my Mother has lied to me... bad example. But it doesn't make you any better."

"Why didn't you tell me," I asked.

"Utako, you have to listen..."

"No, you have to give me the trident," says Tiburón.

"Utako, don't," my Mother tried.

Utako: You promise, you swear, you cry
But my eyes stay dry
I know the end of the story
And it gets ugly

I cannot stand it anymore
But you say I don't have the choice
I wish I could escape
Finding my own way

But the reality's stronger, I can't fight no more
I now you're right, I hope you're right

But the reality's stronger, and I can't accept
I now you're right, I hope you're right

I now you're right, I hope you're right

I know it's true but I'm still hanging on
It doesn't matter what you're saying
I can't trust you

I know it's true but I'm still hanging on
It doesn't matter what you're saying
I can't trust you

I know it's true but I'm still hanging on
It doesn't matter what you're saying
I can't trust you!

I then hand Tiburón the trident.

"YES!" says Tiburón, "AND ALL IT TOOK WAS TRICKING UTAKO INTO STEALING FROM HER GRANDFATHER!"

"What," I asked.

"Oh, didn't I mention that?" He then blasts me into a prison of ice. My Mother tries to stop him, but she ends up captured with his... tentacles from underneath his robe? What? "Now, if you excuse me, I have bigger fish to fry!"

"There's the idea," says Pyris.

Tiburón then laughs as he leaves.

To Be Continued
