Chapter 11: Bow Down:
Utako's POV:
We arrived at the Icey Mountain, but then Tiburón started blasting everyone and then they started bowing... even my Grandfather!
"Dreams do come true," says Tiburón, "YOU SEE THAT, MOTHER?! THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT!" He continued to make everyone bow. "THE END HAS COME TO ALL OF YOU WITH FINS!"
I then climbed the mountain and took on Tiburón. I then grabbed the trident and aimed it at him. "It's over," I said.
"Wrong end, Kid," says Tiburón.
He then tries to attack me, but I managed to hit him with that end. "Grandfather," I said, "I believe this belongs to you!" I then threw the trident at its rightful owner.
"Tiburón, you shall face your punishment," says my Grandfather.
. . .
Tiburón was being taken to the Atlantean prison.
My Mom and I talked.
Pearl: It's the hardest thing to give away
And the last thing on your mind today
It always goes to those who don't deserve
It's the opposite of how you feel
When they pain they caused is just too real
Takes everything you have to say the word
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Utako: It flies in the face of all your pride
It moves away the mad inside
It's always anger's own worst enemy
Even when the jury and the judge
Say you've got a right to hold a grudge
It's the whisper in your ear saying set it free
Pearl: Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness
Utako: It'll clear the bitterness away
It can even set a prisoner free
There is no end to what its power can do
So, let it go and be amazed by what you see through eyes of grace
The prisoner that it really frees is you
Pearl: Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Show me how to love the unlovable
Show me how to reach the unreachable
Help me now to do the impossible
Forgiveness
Pearl/Utako: I want finally set it free
Show me how to see what your mercy sees
Help me now to give what You gave to me
Forgiveness, Forgiveness
Forgiveness, Forgiveness!
My Mom and I made up.
"You have the blood of a mermaid, but the heart of a samurai," says My Father.
Yup, I'm basically a Mermaid Samurai thanks to the words of my father.
"Now, you can stay with your parents in the surface," says my Grandfather, "or you can live with us in the sea."
"I think I have a better idea," I said.
