Chapter 9

"Okay so you need to get her back, how do we do that?" Mike asks as he sits down.

"Well first off, we follow the lead you got, I want to go down to that warehouse and check it out," Harvey says. As he gets up his computer chimes with a message.

Harvey reads it carefully, looking at his watch he see's the time and leans back in his chair.

"Harvey, what is it?" Mike asks.

"A message to be at my computer at 4 o'clock to chat," Harvey says as he looks up at Mike. He reads the time on the clock that is sitting on the window shelf of his office.

"That is in an hour, so what? We wait?" Mike asks. Harvey nods his head, he does not want to be anywhere but his office if this means he gets to come face to face with these people.

"Yes, go get Jessica, and find Rachel, I know that she has been broken up about this whole thing and I am going to need all hands on deck for what could come next.

Mike nods and he gets up to walk out of Harvey's office. All Harvey could do was sit there staring at his computer watching each minute pass by as slowly as it could.

After 55 minutes Mike comes back with Jessica and Rachel, who all stand in front of his desk, no one says a word. They wait until the clock hits 4 o'clock exactly. Then an email popped up on his laptop with a video file.

All of them hear the questions, Harvey watches as Donna flinches at Marcus's touch. He begins to feel rage through his whole body, he can see that something is different about her. As the video ends his computer comes up with a video request.

As he clicks on it he can see Marcus up in front of the camera and Donna in the background.

"Donna," Harvey yells out.

She looks over to him, she hadn't heard his voice in about a week, and to be able to hear it live; even if it was over a computer gave her hope.

"Harvey," Donna whispers. They both do not say anything else for a moment, all they can do is stare at each other.

"Okay well, why don't we begin," Marcus says. "I wanted to speak to you Harvey about all of this and clarify a few things," Marcus continues.

"And what would that be? You know what let me save you the trouble, you can clarify one thing for me. You can wrap this up by giving me back Donna and you know what, we will call it even," Harvey says.

Marcus smiles as he moves backwards towards Donna. Harvey balls his fists up under his desk to try and stay calm. As Marcus reaches Donna he puts his hands on her shoulders. She looks away from Marcus and the camera to keep herself calm.

"You know what let us just clarify this, so Donna let me ask you a question. Do you want to go back t Harvey?" Marcus asks. Donna looks back over to him. What a silly question that was, he knew the answer. He was baiting her.

"Yes," Donna snaps at him. Marcus begins to grip her should a little harder. She could feel the pain shoot through her arm. Marcus takes his hand and strikes her across the face.

Harvey's heart skips a beat, not only was she loyal to him, but she was paying the price for him. Donna raises her head back up, her cheek begins to turn red from the strike. She can't move her hand up to it because she is still stuck to the chair.

"Hey, this is between you and me, not her" Harvey says. But that comment only made Marcus angrier. He pulls a knife out of his back pocket. Harvey begins to feel a sense of dread. This next moment would determine what would happen next.

Marcus takes the knife and follows it along her arm until it reaches her hand. He takes the tap and cuts it loose from both her wrists and then her feet. Donna rubs her wrists with her hands, the tap had left marks with how tight it was holding her.

Before anyone could get another word out Marcus pulls Donna up from the chair and throws her out in front. She grunts as she hits the floor. Harvey could see that Donna was afraid, it takes a lot to make a women like her scared.

"Hey, leave her alone," Harvey blurts out.

Marcus doesn't say anything to him, he leans down and pulls Donna into a sitting position by her hair. "You know, why don't I demonstrate to Harvey what I do when no one listens to me," He says. Donna shivers and tries to get out of his grasp.

"No, don't. Please," Donna cries out. She doesn't want Harvey to see any of that. She needs him to know that she is strong and that she can handle herself. But hearing her begging him no only made matters worse for Harvey.

"What did you do?" Harvey asks through his teeth. He feels as though he might explode. He can't believe that he is sitting at his desk watching all of this take place.

"You know what, I am going to let you figure that out. In the meantime I am gonna take Donna, and we are going to end this little chat," Marcus says as he pulls Donna up to her feet.

"Marcus, please," Donna says as he yanks her away from the laptop. Scottie who is standing behind the computer hits the end call button to cut off Harvey before he could get another word out.

"Marcus, just put her in the room and come back out here," Scottie says.

"That will ruin all the fun," Marcus says as he drags Donna out of the room.

Harvey sits there staring at the screen which is now black. Jessica, Mike, and Rachel all stand there facing Harvey. They have no words, they have no idea what to do. All Harvey can do is get up and walk out of his office.

"Harvey, wait," Rachel calls out. "Where are you going?"

"Where do you think? I am following the lead that Mike has, I am going to find her," Harvey says as he continues walking.

"Harvey I already told you, there are cameras outside that warehouse. If that's where she is, everyone will see you coming and you won't get to Donna," Mike says.

Harvey stops in his tracks. Thinking about that makes him realize that it is true. If he were to show up with no way of taking down those camera they would see him coming before he could get to Donna.

"Benjamin, go down and talk to him and see if he can find their live feed from the cameras and block it," Harvey says. Mike nods as he gets on the elevator, he makes a face to Rachel making sure she knows to stay with Harvey.

"Come on, lets go back to your office. When Mike comes back up we can figure out what we need to do," Rachel says.

Reluctantly, Harvey follows Rachel back into his office where Jessica still is, she is sitting at his desk watching the latest video. All three of them sit in his office trying to come up with ideas on how to pull this off if they can get inside.

Mike returns with Benjamin, computer in hand. "Okay so we have an idea," Mike says. Everyone is ready to hear this.

"Okay, so if I am close enough I can get access to the whole building and disable any alarms and camera that they have, with knowing the location I was able to pull up a layout of the warehouse and with how he described the video I was able to figure where they potentially have her in there. It is not guaranteed but with the description of the room they have been filming from I was able to pinpoint that. Now you only have one shot at this so we have to make it count," Benjamin says as he shows the layout of the building and how he plans on taking down all of the cameras.

Everyone seems to be on board with the plan. Jessica thinks that the best thing for everyone to do is to turn all of it over to the police to let them do it.

"Absolutly not, I am not putting Donna's life in someone elses hands. Once I am inside then we call the police but I need to be the one to get her out," Harvey says.

Even with protest everyone agrees on this. If Harvey wants to be the one to do it then he should. All of them pile into the black SUV they had brought up to the building and they head down towards the docks with all the warehouses.

The SUV parks a few blocks away so no one would see them coming. Benjamin gets into position to set the cameras in a 30 second time loop that would last about 15 minutes before reverting. Once that is set Harvey sprints down to the warehouse. As he reaches the door he hears Benjamin through his blackberry earpiece.

"Okay I am unlocking the front door now, be careful," Benjamin says.

Harvey slowly pulls open the door into the dark empty warehouse. He starts to tiptoe around the halls trying to picture the layout in his head. It is something that he has memorized, when it comes to Donna how could he forget something so important.

He begins to hears a few voices and ducks into a dark room. He can hear the faint voice of Scottie talking to what sounded like Marcus.

"Did you really think that was a good idea? I told you to put her back into the room and come straight out," Scottie says.

"You know what, she deserves it, she has been nothing but disrespectful this whole time and I have had it up to here with her. If it wasn't for Huntly's plan I would have already killed her," Marcus says.

Those words sent a chill though Harvey's blood. He knew that she was not farther from him, but he needed both to be clear of his path to her. He steps back a little more to make sure that he was out of sight when they walked past him. Harvey leans out and watches them disappear around the corner. He then takes off back down the same path, he comes to a tech room that is empty, as he steps inside of it he looks through a window and see's Donna. She is laying in that room on the other side of the window, on a bed. She is holding her stomach and tossing around in pain.

Harvey knew he was going to make Marcus pay for everything that he has done to her.

"Harvey, police are on route. They should be here in about 7 minutes," Harvey hears Benjamin say through his earpiece.

Before Harvey could say anything he begins to hear footsteps, he bolts as fast as he can behind some equipment. He see's Scotti rush into the room looking around. He doesn't see Marcus, but he hears Donna yell out.

"Mr Specter, come out come out wherever you are," Marcus yells out. He jumps up to see Marcus holding Donna in the room. Scottie jumps as Harvey comes into her view.

"I found him," She yells out.

Harvey follows Scottie until all of them are in the room. "Well if it isn't the great Harvey Specter," Marcus says as he pulls the knife out of his back pocket. He holds it up next to Donna's face.

Harvey can see tears running down her cheek. Harvey tries to take a step forward but Marcus runs the blade through Donna's arm drawing a good amount of blood.

"That is close enough, we wouldn't want any accidents would we?" Marcus says as he smiles.

"I am only going to say this once, let her go or I will personally kick your ass," Harvey says. He wasn't going to let them take her away from him again.

"How about no, I am going to keep her and you are going to regret that you ever crossed paths with me here," Marcus says.

Donna begins to whimper out as the knife is brought back up to her face, but this time it was lowered to her neck. "Harvey," Donna cries out.

"I got this Donna, don't worry," Harvey says.

"No you don't, why don't you ask Donna what happens when I am not listened to, because believe me she will be severely punished for this one. I guarantee you," Marcus says.

Harvey could barley stand to hear this words. He looks down at the time on his watch, knowing that in about 4 minutes he would be in custody and Donna would be back with him.

Marcus begins to push the blade into her neck, Donna begins to gasp for a breath as the pressure of the blade begins to cut off her airflow.

"You think I won't kill her right here right now? I will, and you know what the best part about it will be? You will not be able to do one thing to stop it. I am holding the women I know you love in my arms, her life is mine right now and I cant remove it in an instant," Marcus yells out.

Donna continue to look up as it becoming harder to breath, she can feel warm liquid dripping down the front of her, the blade is beginning to break skin on her neck, much harder and it will do more damage.

As Donna tries to gasp for air Marcus looks down to her, Harvey takes this moment that he is distracted to strike at Marcus.

Okay, that is where I am going to leave it for now. The anticipated part of Harvey reaching Donna has come. I will try and have the next chapter up as quickly as I can. Please let me know how you have enjoyed this story.
