Summary: I woke up in Skyrim of all places! Why couldn't it have been something easy like Stardew Valley and what's this book on meads and why am I a giant!?

A/N: Couldn't think of a title for the chapter. -_-

Chapter 3:

Third Person Pov: (Narrator)

As Miranda led Bjorn to his new home he was unaware that his use of that power hidden within himself caught the attention of several beings, some of which were not happy to be interrupted while others were fascinated.

The Ascended Realm of Nirn:

The Ascended realm, home to the divines and their champions, this plane of existence was beautiful now doubt from the sky the color of the aurora borealis slowly changing color as time passed to the masterfully crafted roads leading to the deities' homes. Said homes were actually castles or cathedrals decorated to represent which divine resided there, in one such home we find a massive garden filled with all types of trees and flora, some poisonous some not, in the center however resides a large circular fountain It is there where a woman with an elf-like appearance.

Heart shaped face framed by long light brown hair done in a braid that nearly reached her ankles, her attire was a forest green medieval evening dress with golden trees decorating around the ends of the dress that hugged her figure nicely. There was several oddities about her, one of which was adjourned on her head, a pair of antlers grew from her skull, another was her aura, the plants around her seemed to radiate a glow of luster while those further away from her while beautiful in their own right just couldn't match the formers luster.

The people of Tamriel know this woman as Kynareth though the Nords referred to her as Kyne and she was currently looking through her fountain and into Tamriel or more specifically Skyrim for the source of her current curiosity. Not even half a mortal day and a massive amount of nature magic sprouted from nowhere and from that magic came a plant she was unknown too. Due to this she was currently combing through Skyrim for the source, stopping briefly to admire several spriggan colonies and checking her Eldergleam Sanctuary before moving on to find the source.

She soon found the source, or well the site of the source, the pool showed a scene of a road leading to a small mining village, the area around the road showed upturned soil indicating that a tree was uprooted while the road itself was burned and blackened from what she can guess to be an explosion. With a wave of her hand Kynareth's view zoomed out to a higher altitude allowing her to scan around the area for more clues, she scanned the small village to the south of the site and found nothing. Huffing in agitation she tried the north, several minutes later she found a trail, smiling to herself she continued following the trail until she came upon an interesting site: a giant following a massive flower that is currently moving. Once she laid her eyes upon that flower she gasped, the reason? The amount of energy radiating from the flower was as strong as a Spriggan Earth Mother, how!? Searching for the answer brought her attention to the giant which now that she was focusing on him she could feel the nature magic rolling off him in waves, between the flower and the giant it was the giant that had more power.

Focusing back on the flower once more she began to admire it in detail, the outer petals, healthy and strong, the petals in the center, even the persistent pods were beautiful. Kynareth wanted the flower or to be specific she desired the flowers seed for her garden so with a wave of her hand she tried to take a seed from the flower only for there to be no seed. Pouting she tried again, getting more depressed each time she failed, she ended up throwing a fit after a while.

Huffing in agitation she gave up for now and continued to watch them to see what else they may do.

Broken Limb Camp:

"What do you mean you can't find them!?" yelled an orc sitting on a massive stone, Jern's body could be seen beside it with two large hand axes embedded in his chest, the orc was angry at the messenger for the news he just received. The orc was massive, standing near 7 feet he was rather large in shape given his bulging belly but most of his body was covered in orcish plate mail except for his bulging belly of course. This was Vuiltag the leader of the Red Tusks and a worshiper of Sanguine, they all were for you see to join the Red Tusks you didn't need to be of any race, oh no you had to worship the Daedric lord of debauchery himself. As he was yelling at the messenger several of his warriors were laying about drinking and fornicating as they always did after a fight.

Currently wanted in Riften for Rape, Murder, current bounty 4,500 gold septims.

"It's as I said, commander!" exclaimed the messenger before continuing on before Vuiltag could scream again "Malour and Nessia's group disappeared a mile away from Darkwater Crossing!" he exclaimed, trying to reason with the commander.

Growling Vuiltag lifted himself up from his seat causing the messenger to back up slowly only to bump into someone who pushed him forward into the growling Vuiltag's hands which lifted him up causing him to scream in fright. Before said scream of fright became a scream of pain as the one who pushed him unsheathed a dagger and in one swift motion disemboweled him.

Staring at the disemboweled corpse he held, Vuiltag scoffed before throwing it into the pyre before turning to the one who did the disemboweling "Why'd you have to do that Pelfrey?" Vuiltag asked, wanting an answer. Pelfrey was a nord, shorter in stature compared to other nords but Vuiltag knew better than to think him weak after all Pelfrey was the one who trained all his warriors, he was also the most cruel in the Red Tusks which helped him climb the ranks all the quicker till he became Vuiltags right hand. Appearance wise he had half his hair shaved off leaving one side bald which he then tattooed several motifs too, eyes a sickly green and a slightly crooked nose with an equally crooked grin etched into his face. He is normally seen wielding dual axes but recently he began to also carry daggers strapped to his blood red dyed leather armor which gave him the title 'Blood Raven' a title he wears with pride.

He was currently wanted in Dawnstar for killing several guards while drunk, his current bounty 2,000 gold septims.

But neither of them cared how high the bounty was or where the bounty was held, all it did was add more fun to their debauchery and worship.

"Well" Pelfrey began. "I know what happened to Malour's group" he said grabbing Vuiltags attention along with several others and with a wicked grin he began to tell the tale of what transpired between Bjorn and Malour's group.

-Across all of Skyrim:

Across all of Skyrim in each of her holds from the court wizards to the wildest of rogue mages attention was pulled as Bjorn's use of magic was felt leaving many fascinated in what could cause such a thing while a few of them began to plot on how to turn this into an advantage for themselves.

-With Bjorn and Miranda: Narrators POV: Several Days Later

We bring ourselves back to Bjorn and Miranda to see that Miranda had led Bjorn to Witchmist Grove where he was currently being harassed by two hagravens. Hagraven are humanoid creatures of dark magic in the game, but in real life they were that and more, these two were almost identical except for their eyes one being purple the color of amethyst while the other being yellow the color of topaz. Their bodies were much more different than in the game, for one they didn't look like hags, they looked like the Aasimar from DnD, women with wings on their back though they did have birds feet instead of human feet.

"Ah look Hessara! A giant has wandered into our abode." the hagraven on the left said excitedly at the prospect of having a guest while the other hagraven now named Hessara sighs out in disdain "I can see that Vossata you little dust cloud!" before turning to Bjorn and looking at him more intensively "Wait a second, Bjorn is that you?!" Hessara exclaimed in surprise once she realized who the giant was.

The other hagraven now named Vossata began to jump in excitement at seeing Bjorn again "It's felt like forever since Bjorn was around sis! Oh! Do you think he's here to finish where we left off the last time he was here?" Turning to Hessara Bjorn raised an eyebrow as he went to speak only for Vossata to interrupt him before he could even speak "Oh! Maybe he's here for that promise you gave him a couple of nights ago." that got Bjorn to blink a couple of times in confusion before he decided to voice his confusion "Umm not to sound rude " he said grabbing both Hargraven's attention before continuing "But what do you mean promise? And what did I do last time I was here?" he asked in dread as when he told Jern he went to Witchmist Grove he made that up.

Hessara was the one to speak after a period of silence, "What my sister is talking about was when you entered our grove when you were drunk off your gourd." Turning she glared at a sheepish Vossata "Something she seems to have forgotten after that night." Turning to Bjorn she gives an unsure smile "As for the promise well…" here she trailed off as Vossata chimes in "Oh! She promised to help you with your height problem."

Here she turned and pointed to a small house that had the top of the doorframe smashed in "When you were drunk you didn't even notice the door when you tried to get in the first time." she explained as Bjorn stared at the hole he made when he was 'drunk', she then continued "It was funny at first, then you left midway through the night grumbling about your height and then you left!" she said, pouting causing Hessara to sigh in exasperation before saying "Don't worry about her Bjorn, she's just mad that you left before you could bed her." at this she grinned cheekily at her sister who grumbled.

"As for your height problem? I'll need a couple of ingredients for the potion" Hessara said, motioning Bjorn to follow her as she led him over to a cauldron resting above a fire pit.

It was here she motioned to the cauldron "This is where I'll be making your potion Bjorn ,but there is a problem." She said turning to Bjorn "I need three ingredients to make the potion" here she began listing them off "I need Mandrake root, Eldergleam Sap and finally a sample of your blood." she finished staring at Bjorn.

Bjorn rubbed the back of his neck in thought before replying "My blood? That I can give aplenty but I have no clue as to where I can find Mandrake root and Eldergleam Sap is going to be nearly impossible for me to get without some way of getting past its bark." Staring down at the hagravens he gave a sheepish smile before shrugging his shoulders before he continued "Even then if I knew how to get the rest of the stuff I'm busy right now following Miranda to my new home." At this he pointed at the Miranda at the edge of the grove tilting to the North-east.

The hagravens eyes widened at the sight of the flower but that wasn't what truly got their attention, no it was the magic rolling off of the things in waves, turning back to Bjorn they saw him shrug before he started to follow after the flower. Before he left the grove he turned back to the twins "I'll be back after I get settled in, I promise." and with that he left leaving two bewildered hagravens to themselves.

Several Days Later: Bjorns Pov:

It took awhile but eventually the Miranda led me to a cave with a view of the snowy plains north east of Windhelm, on our way there we passed by Kynesgrove and a dragon mound, then we had to walk past a stable and two farms then we finally passed a dilapidated house and a ruined outpost that had a pedestal with a book on it. Staring out into the massive snowy plains I turn to Miranda and see she already planted her roots into the ground, shaking my head I take off my backpack and remove the chest, bringing it to the flower I place it at the base of the plant before going over what I looted from my enemies. Pulling a steel double headed greataxe I tested the weight with one hand, swinging it I embedded it in one of the thick trees that decorated the plains, emptying the rest out of the pack; it was just mostly broken weapons and armor.

Chopping, I began the long process of cutting down trees and lopping off their limbs. Soon It was nearing night and I had to make shelter for the night, dragging the logs to the entrance to the cave. With the logs I placed four of them standing up in front of the cave as pillars before laying the rest on top of each other to make walls, a quick application of magic and I had vines to hold everything in place .

I dug snow out from around the Miranda before piling all the dug out snow around the cave I made making a giant 'mound' of snow around me to block out most of the icy winds allowing me to sit down and not be hit with said winds, making a fire wasn't all that difficult given that I had some of those fire arrows I looted from Malour at first they didn't do anything till I channeled my magic into it then it worked and soon I had a fire going before I turned in for the night.

The next morning came and I had to find food and water, those were my priority right now but first I threw a few tree limbs onto the dying fire to keep it alight, seeing as I didn't want to waste another fire arrow.

Leaving my cave I spot a couple of stags locking antlers a mile or so off, grabbing my axe I begin trudging my way to the stags, on my way I notice i'm not the only one after them, due to how far I am from the stags I can see something in the snow moving towards them, changing direction I wander towards the hidden creature before reaching down with my massive hand and plunged it into the snow. When I pull my hand out I'm greeted by the sight of a snow bear cub chewing on my hand. We made eye contact as the stags snapped their heads in our direction or at least tried to but by doing so they locked their horns in place.

Seeing a chance I set the cub down before rushing the two stag's, axe at the ready. The stag's tried to disengage before I was upon them, swinging. I lop off one of the stag's heads, sending the other to the ground before soon joining its brother.

Throwing the carcasses over a shoulder I reach down and carry the heads unknowingly being followed by the cub. Bringing the carcasses to a tree near the cave I drop the heads and place my hand upon the tree, another quick application of magic and the back legs of the carcasses were pierced, stinging them up as their blood was drained.

As i'm about to enter my cave a noise grabbed my attention, turning I spot a small bear cub trying and failing to climb the tree the carcasses are on, with a sigh I walk over to the cub who proceed to back away from me, catching up I reach down and grasp the cub before carrying it to my home.

Entering I place the squirming cub down before dropping the two stag's heads in front of it before speaking "Eat, eat and grow strong." to the young cub who scurried back in fright as I sat down by the fire reaching over and throwing some tree branches on it.

Waiting I watch the cub from my peripherals as I sat their I let my mind wander to my situation, I got food, I need to make some kind of container to turn the snow into water but I can do that later, next I need protection against the snow, with the pelts I could turn them into leather if I had a tannery but that would require stone and bricks. Sighing I shake my head as I stand back up before heading back out I turn to see the cub sniffing the stag heads in curiosity, shaking my head I head out into the snow.

Trudging through the snow I make my way to Miranda and pick up my chest before seeing all the ruined weapons and armor nearby nearly covered in snow, with a sigh I gather it all up in my pack before heading back inside, entering the cave I walk to the back having to crouch a little bit to get in deeper. Once I was away from the cub I unloaded the weapons and armor from my pack and began to sift through them looking for anything I could use, the leather and fur armor I placed to the side for resizing and future use the metal armors I threw into a pile for melting down several broken weapons joined it, the one thing of note from the pile would be a new 'dagger' for me though when I say dagger for me would probably be a short sword for most people.

Setting the blade aside I set my chest down before opening it before pulling out the sacks that were in it, opening one I see it's full of gems, mostly garnets and amethysts with one or two rubies in it, blinking I close the back before looking up and groaning "Ugh Gods, Me and Jern were sitting on a gold mine weren't we?" I question knowing I wouldn't get an answer. Rubbing the bridge of my nose with one hand I sigh before placing the bag down. I reach for another one, this one has more weight to it than the bag of gems, expecting something of value. I'm not that surprised to see it full of gold, silver and copper septims, placing the bag down I reach for the last bag noticing how light it felt compared to the others, at first I thought it was empty till I opened it and was surprised to find potion ingredients instead!

The last bag had what looked like cotton and several red berries, now I haven't played Skyrim in a long time but I was pretty sure the cotton was Tundra cotton and the berries was Snow berries, just alchemical ingredients to most but with my magic I can make something with this but it would take time.

Closing the bag I put the bags back into the chest I lean back and close my eyes only to snap them open a moment later when I feel something gnawing on my foot, with a blank look upon my face I stare down at the bear cub chewing on my foot "Your going to be a pain to raise, aren't you?" I asked without expecting any answer, so with a sigh I reached down and picked the cubs and placed it to my left, my hand gently rubbing the cub's belly while my eyes closed, listening to the sounds of the fire and the cubs mewling.

One Year later: (Two years till canon)

One year has passed since I began to survive in these snowy plains, during this time I came upon several discoveries, one of those was I HATE the cold! Other than that the other discoveries were related to my magic or when I went and helped the hagravens, the first time I experimented with it here I ended up creating a plant covered in thorns that exploded shortly after creation, sending said thorns flying everywhere though I did keep a few.

The second attempt was a slight success, I needed water so I tried to make a plant that I could store snow into and it would turn it into water as time went by, the problem is that when it grew to maturity it changed for lack of better words. The stem that held the 'container' grew and twisted resembling two trees twisted together, the 'branches' of the tree had no leaves but instead had these pods/fruit on them that grew when snow touched the roots, once picked however you could consume it though I recommend being prepared as the 'fruit' has alot of water in it.

Though that did help me when I began to plant the Tundra cotton and Snow berries as I could dig up the snow and pile said snow onto the tree's roots, the berries and cotton with a little magic began to multiply like weeds. The plants did go through a couple of mutations, the cotton grew denser and was more durable than before, the Berries grew massive to the size of oranges, though I guess that makes them fruit instead of berries now.

The final discovery I made was after a month of arriving in the snowy plains, carpeting is a lot easier with magic than with hard work, I would know, I was a carpenter before I came here, it was mostly feeding my magic into trees to make them as long and thick as I need them to be and I could easily shed off the bark from the trees with a quick use of magic. Though making a foundation was difficult given that I had to find several clay deposits and mine stone by hand to make it, after three weeks of hard work I had enough of both materials to make a decently large foundation for me to build upon. The design was similar to the viking houses of old, so that means this house of mine has three parts to be built before I could call it a home: the entryway, the living room/kitchen and the loft that would hold my bedroom.

Other then that the cub was an annoying companion, if it wasn't one thing it was another, one time I woke up only to find the little terror chewing on the leather armors then the next it was chewing on the Miranda's vines, though I have been feeding it with a little magic before bed to increase it's growth.

Currently though, I'm trying to make clay bricks, why? Because I need them that's why! The design I have for my tannery is similar to the design from conan exiles which could also get me tar. Tar is something I could use for waterproofing flooring and even weapons that have wood and that's not even counting the leather.

Back to clay, I'm currently making several clay utensils such as plates and pots along with clay bricks which were being formed into straight bricks and curved bricks. Drying and hardening them by the fire, I can't leave them unattended either seeing as the cub would try to chew on them if I wasn't. Sitting down with my back propped against the wall of the cave, I wait for the clay to finish hardening, the cub outside messing with the Miranda's vines and a couple of stag carcasses being drained of blood.

With everything on a decent track I can plan for the future, once the house was finished and I had proper clothes I can hopefully get kegs to make mead seeing as I will need more money and selling the mead will go a long way to get the materials I would need for future projects down the road. Sighing I turn to the fire and with careful movement I turn the clay bricks over before leaning back with a groan, I just wait as the day comes to an end, closing my eyes I drift off to sleep as hopefully tomorrow the clay gets done and I can get some tasks done.

The Next Day: Narrators POV:

When Bjorn awoke with a groan he was greeted by the sight of a cub sleeping on his lap, with a sigh he gently lifted the cub up and placed him down beside him before getting up and stretching, getting several pops and cracks in response. Bjorn headed outside axe in hand, he started his day by gathering wood for the fire and when he was done with that he would go and gather the fruit from the plants. Feed the cub, check the clay utensils and bricks, if any are done, set them aside away from the cub all the while cursing the fact he still doesn't have shoes. This process repeated for over a week before he finally had enough bricks to build his tannery, it took several tries and alot of effort but he managed to get the thing built.

With the tannery built, Bjorn can finally get leather and then finally get some DAMN BOOTS! Cause let's face it, a year of walking through the snow barefooted can make anyone pissed. Though now that Bjorn thought back to the tannery as he placed the hides on, maybe he could make a plant to help speed this on.

…it took him a couple days before he could create the plant to help him with the tannery, and while he was happy to have a helper with a task he felt somewhat disappointed that it didn't have any sentience like Miranda.

Speaking of Miranda, her (Bjorn refuses to call the plant 'it') petals would shed off similar to that of a snake shedding its skin, bringing more colorful petals into the mix after each shed, now her coloration is even richer than it was before, though with each shed Bjorn had to collect the petals otherwise the cub would try to eat them. But what drew Bjorn's attention the most was at the base of her stem, there at the base were several green flower buds growing, showing that Miranda was in the process of multiplying.

If he remembered correctly the petals could be dried up then turned into a powder to make a perfume of sorts, but that would require a mortar and pestle at the least to make. But back to the newest problem he has, he has no nails, hinges or locks which he needs for his home, so his next two projects was to expand this small cave and see if he can find iron ore and gather more clay rock to make a furnace to smelt said iron into bars. But first he needs a pickaxe to do said mining and he has an idea on how to make one.

Timeskip: Two Months Later

Huffing Bjorn sits by his pyre outside the cave to take a breather from all the work he's been doing these past two months setting today's find beside him.

The cave was expanded ten feet back in the first week though he had to crouch to get in deeper and so in the second week he made it so he could walk through the now deeper cave placing supports every five feet. The third and fourth week was all about going deeper into the earth in search of iron ore, Bjorn made several tunnels looking and only found two iron deposits, which wasn't all that good seeing as one of them was a small deposit while the other was a decently large one. The entire second month was him going down the mine lighting the paths to see as it got darker the deeper he went, the short term solution was to place torches but after a bit of thought Bjorn decided against it and went with a more complicated solution instead, with experimentation Bjorn made a plant that gave off light that could survive in environments like caverns and mines.

Staring at his latest find Bjorn couldn't help but smile, for you see he found at the end of his newest 'tunnel' in the mine he found a corundum deposit and it was a large one at that! But the newest problem came to be as the small iron deposit dried up and soon the other iron deposit will dry up. Now he couldn't use magic to revitalize the deposits, he tried that and got knocked out for his troubles, probably had something to do with his knowledge on the subject being abysmal.

Though now that I think about it I should probably go see the hagraven's to see if they could teach me how to access and control my magic. Because let's be honest they know more about magic than me anyday, and I did say I would give them a hand in retrieving the items….

…Oh what's the worst that could happen?

A/N: Chapter End!

A/N: Not gonna lie this could have been done awhile back but inspiration and my muse are at war right now. Anyways if you have a comment such as advice or criticism you would like to share… GO AHEAD! As it could give me interesting ideas to apply to the story, though if you're a flamer and would like to flame, go somewhere else and that. No one likes a flamer, period.
