Chapter 3

"Hey Millie, can we talk?"

"Of course, Harry," Millie replied. "What is bothering you?"

"I used the cloak last night to spy on the bitches."

"And?" Millie asked with curiosity.

"I am still not sure about Hermione. Something is, off I would say there. As for the slag, we will go ahead with your plan. However, can you make it more horrible and painful?"

"Their discussion was that bad?" Millie asked just to get Harry to nod. "Bugger. Okay, I will see what I can do. I did check, in the past, the time limit to rescue a hostage was real. One hour or the hostage died."

"Do you think that arsewipe will include some protection for the slag?"

"Of course, portkey, most likely. I will drop an anti-portkey rune before the task." Millie said with a feral grin.

"Works for me," Harry replied with a smile.

{s}

Harry dis-illusioned himself, just for practice. When he got to the ward line he cancelled the charm and walked outside the grounds. The actress who was also a witch grabbed his arm and apparated him to London. The target was too tempting.

{s}

Harry had to admit that watching Greyback shag a female werewolf was erotic to watch. Using the wand he stole from Ollivander's; Harry used the killing curse to kill Greyback. Then he used his special wand to imperious the bitch to maul the stunned La Strange he brought. Once he was dead, he killed the lycanthrope. He dropped the stolen wand on the floor, ensuring it got blood-coated. Then he used his wand to cast the dark mark.

Then he walked out of the house and had to walk away to Weeford Road. Then he took a taxi to the Waterfall pub. There Tracy Gibbs waited for him. He snorted. He was sure that wasn't her real name. But since she didn't say anything about the large bag he had with him when he arrived in Birmingham but none when he rejoined her.

The second station of the night was Remus's flat. His ride went to the Artichoke where he would meet her.

{s}

Harry knocked on the door. He kept his wand to his side.

"Harry, what are you doing here? What is going on?" Hagrid asked.

"I need to talk to you. Please invite me in, can I have some tea?" Harry asked.

"Of course," Hagrid replied while turning his back to go into the kitchen. Harry closed the door. He then turned to the half-giant. He raised his wand. "Avada Kedavra."

Harry then put the body in his moleskin bag. Time to go to the next station.

{s}

How to get into the house? He needed all the stealth he could get. Five werewolves were inside, asleep. Well with the cloak, scent removal, and silencing charm; he should be fine. Harry loved the unforgivable. They did the job. Remus was torn to shreds. The claw catching on the chain of his order medallion was perfect.

Now all he had to do was get one more order member. Tonight he would grab his last needed death eater.

{s}

Harry hated this. Why when they had all this magic did they require all the magicals in Great Britain to come to London, then take an eight-hour train ride up to Scotland? Magicals would have been complete nuts if it wasn't that he needed to meet with Millie before he pushed Ginevra.

{s}

"Well Mister Potter, how was your Beltane?" Millie asked with a quirked brow.

"It was fun. You never really notice how dangerous the magical world is." Harry replied while casting spells to detect any unfortunate charms. There were a couple of listening charms. He quickly dispelled them. He also noticed that Millie had four different tracking charms on her. Only one was a family charm.

"You know you had tracking charms on you?"

"What?"

"Yes, did you meet with the headmaster and your head of the house; not to mention Granger?" Harry asked.

"I shared a carriage with Granger. Dumbledore and Sinistra talked with all of us. We are having a mandatory meeting with Poppy when we get back." Millie said.

"Well each of them, plus your mom or dad put tracking charms on you. You can thank Sinistra for the one on your tie. Your parent for your necklace. Your belt is Granger and your family ring is Dumbledore," Harry said with a smirk.

"What shall I do?" Mellie asked with a matching smirk.

"I will have to buy you a new pair of boots, dragonhide since you are worth it. Same with your belt. In any operation, you leave your necklace and ring somewhere safe. Now, I need the home addresses for Hestia Jones, Shacklebolt, Proudfoot, Savage, Dawlish, Moody, and Williamson. The locations of two high-ranking giants and vampires. I also need ten or so addresses of death-eaters."

"That is a lot, let me guess by tomorrow?" Millie asked sarcastically.

"No, by tomorrow, I need to know where Granger and the youngest Weasley meet up and plot now. The rest before summer. I have given you unlimited access to my trust vault so you can spend what you need." Harry said.

"So I guess you are the reason there were so many dark marks over Beltane," Millie said.

"Yes, eight dead members of the burnt bird club and a couple of death eaters. It looks like both the Burnt Bird Club and Tom are killing his own. I am sure both Tom and Albus did not have a fun Yule."

Millie laughed. "You know the headmaster will demand to talk with you."

"I don't know. The bastard will need to talk with me about how I arrive by the carriage." Harry said with a smile.

"What do you mean?"

"I plan on walking off the train into the carriages. I cast a glamour on this carriage. Everyone will see you only. The nosy bastard will be more bothered by how I was able to dodge his spies on the train both to and from the castle." Harry said.

"You were on the train and did not come by and say hi!" Millie exclaimed.

"I wasn't. But I do not want Dumbledore to know I can apparate. I have an ICW license in case I get caught. It also ensures that neither Tom nor Albus thinks I am the mass killer." Harry said.

"Are you sure you shouldn't have been sorted into Slytherin?" Millie said.

"You wound me," Harry said.

"Ha!" Millie countered.

"It is what I need to do to survive. Just like I know you are getting most of your death eater information from Daphne. It is because she wants to protect Astoria. The Greengrass plan on putting her into a betrothal contract one on the dark side to keep their neutrality." Harry said.

"Yeah, Astoria had a contract with Draco Malfoy. I do not know who she will be stuck with now. She is starting to get a reputation as a black widow." Millie said.

"I think she would prefer that reputation than be married to someone old enough to be her grandfather," Harry said. "Though the question is, what will happen when all the Malfoys are dead?"

"She will be free. You only have to kill about four more."

"I need to know where to hit. I need them by spring break. She deserves to be free by the end of this school year. What about you?" Harry asked,

"I need you to meet with my dad. You should be honest with him. He will have no problem with your first betrothal dying." Millie said with a large smile.

"Good, I want that done this summer. Besides having fun with Tom and Albus; I need something to look forward to," Harry said.

"Such a hero," Millie teased.

"No. I want to reward your source. The information has been golden. If she thinks I care, she will continue to supply information when it gets more risky," Harry said.

"You are so naïve. Daphne will never take any risks once her sister is free," Millie said.

"That is what I want. However, I still think she will pass on any information she can get without any risk. There will be enough death, as it is. I don't want to see od my friends, dead," Harry said.

"Too true. I am still surprised this place is still open. We had over seven hundred students enrolled pre-crash. Now, we have just under one hundred students left in the castle. We may get another fifty to seventy students next September, and half of those will be returning wounded students. I wonder if my estimate is high. It is amazing how the birth rates were down even before the last war. Add to that, how many people died before they could reproduce in the last war," Millie said.

"Yeah, I hope to see Hogwarts close. I think one more push and it will," Harry said. "I think we have two more years for that to happen. Next year will be a disastrous tournament. The year after, we…"

This caused Millie to laugh and give Harry a quick peck on the lips. "I can't wait until I can do more than kiss you."

"Same here, but that blasted contract. You just need to find a way to fail a suspension charm or rune that will be used in the second task," Harry said.

{s}

Harry internally groaned. He was back on the beach. Wet, cold, and miserable. Apparently, Death was not happy with him.

"Rise."

Harry tried to, but he hurt all over. He tried a few times then collapsed back in the surf.

Death started to laugh. "It seems that you cannot do a simple task."

"What did I do wrong?" Harry asked.

"Your plan is flawed. If you only kill the dirty Aurors, phoenix members, and death eaters; eventually it would put both a spotlight and a bullseye on you."

"So I need to kill other ministry people, aurors, and innocent magical families?" Harry inquired.

"You might think that, however, I could not possibly say," Death said.

"Amusing," Harry replied.

"Alright, I can only advise. I have marked those that I need you to kill. Per our agreement, I cannot tell you to kill anyone else. Plus, you fear becoming a true serial killer. I try to keep my bargains, deed, and intent." Death replied with a smile.

"So if I take the step to do this safely, there are risks and it will mean death for people that don't need to die now?" Harry asked. Death just nodded and smiled.

"Bugger. Well if I do this, I should be done all the required killings by the time I hit the graveyard, correct?" Harry asked.

"Yes, just like with the stunt on the train. You killed over the number of students that needed to die. You also caused the headmaster to kill even more. Take Slytherin, there are only six students left. If you had just killed the ones that needed to die, they would have fifty. So even if fate or chance gets involved, I don't see you needing to kill more than two more."

"Why do I feel like you would not be upset with that? And how does fate feel about it?" Harry asked.

"If you wipe out most of the breeding age British magicals, fate will probably reward you. They cause them the biggest headache of all the magicals."

"Breeding age?"

"Yes, witches do not have the same biology as muggles. All witches start bleeding on the full moon after their thirteenth birthday. They can only get pregnant two years later. Hogwarts puts anti-pregnancy potions in their food. Easily counteracted by fertility potions. Without fertility potions, witches usually cannot be with children after they turn twenty-five in Britain. None have been recorded after thirty. Even with potions, the oldest worldwide was forty. Most witches die in childbirth after thirty, so many refuse the potions after that. Before you ask, childbirth is hard on the magical core. Even if the child is a squib," Death said.

"That is so…" Harry replied.

"That was the rules mother magic set up. When a person can live to be two to two and a half centuries, add that, magic is a finite resource. It is probably the kindest limit she could have created. It is why, with three blood wars, fate and I are fine with the magical Britiian ending," Death said solemnly.

"Can I ask, how many witches …" Harry asked.

"I do not know. I am not omniscient. I would guess twenty to thirty. Hogwarts used to have over one hundred new students each year. Since World War two, and Grindlewald, that number has been all over the board. Your year was the highest in the last fifty-three years. Let's pick on Slytherin. Next year, they will have four students if you don't kill anymore. If you go through with your current plan, they will have none. If you just kill those that need to die, they would have two," Death said with her evil grin.

"Fair enough. The only other Slytherins I need to kill are the twins," Harry said.

"Yes, but they cannot breed even if you did not. They are surprisingly healthy considering they are half-sisters to their father and sisters to their mother. They are so inbred that the result of which has left them infertile. That is common. Even Millie has one grandmother and grandfather who were brother and sister. That is why so few need to be killed to end magical Britain," Death said.

"Would it please you if I did?" Harry wanted confirmation. He didn't trust death.

"Yes, it would," She replied.

"If I knew how to track down all magicals in an area, and you marked those witches who could breed, and you let me go after them, and the ones from the places I had already hit…" Harry said.

"I will see you get the information. You have my blessing. I do have two requirements first; take out the Prophet and the Quibbler," Death ordered.

"In three weeks, there is a Hogsmeade Weekend. I will send an owl to the Prophet saying I would like to give an interview. That should get all or most hands on deck for that," Harry said. "Sunday I will take out Luna and her father."

"Good, that way the sheep will not know they will soon go to the slaughterhouse," Death said. "You realize once you start, the only way to stop is to complete this, or your soul torn in pieces over eternity."

"Fine," Harry replied.

{s}

Harry loved slipping out of Hogsmeade. He needed to get another wand before the meeting today. The wand only had to cast about twenty killing curses then it would be broken and banished. There was no need to keep it on him after. He expected his Holly wand to be checked. It would be clean of anything not school-related.

{s}

Ebenezer Hearst had ordered all of his staff to be in today. The owl from Harry Potter promising an exclusive interview over anything they wanted was too much not to accept.

"Welcome Mister Potter, I am so glad you came. This is all my reporters. They will each ask questions for different articles," Herst said.

"That is fine. Are you ready to send out special additions?" Harry asked.

"Of course, the press staff, and all are just waiting in the breakroom," Hearst replied.

"Great, Avada …" Harry started as he summoned his new wand and scythe to his hands.

Harry found the message he had sent them. He substituted it for one that an imperioused auror had written for him. He then killed the dupe. He took the author's wand.

Harry apparated over to the Rookery. Thanks to the cloak, he had no problem passing the wards and killing Luna's father with the Auror's wand. Time to go back to the castle. Tonight he was going to ensure Luna was no more.

{s}

The dinner seemed to last forever. Harry was having a hard time not looking over at the Ravenclaw table. His blonde target was eating there. He wished he could have put the dark mark over her home. That would not have worked with what he needed to do.

He finished early and walked to his common room. Once he passed the last portrait on the way, he cast the disillusion spell on a rock and put on his cloak. Harry then went to the grand staircase. He found a perfect broom closet that had a view of a certain landing. Now just to wait.

When he saw the couple of Ravenclaws including Luna hit the landing, he firted a stunner. It hit Luna in the head. He followed it with a cutting charm to the landing. All five of the students fell six floors. A quick disillusionment on the rock again which he cancelled and he left the wand in the closet. He wrapped himself in the cloak. Time to get to his room. One quick secret passage and two frozen frames; and he was past the destroyed landing. He made it to his dorm before any hue and cry. He took off his cloak before a prefect came into the room, demanding that he report to the grand hall.

{s}

Shaklebolt was in his face. Harry demanded his solicitor before he even heard about what was going on. That pissed off the auror.

Once his solicitor arrived, he was quickly plied with veritaserum. Ted only let him be asked if he cast disillusion on himself. At that point, the lawyer allowed only one other question. Harry did not want to kill Luna. That was the truth. Following Death's orders was not the same.

{s}

"Harry, did you have anything to do with the death of the Ravenclaws?" Albus asked.

"Albus! You know better, first Mister Potter demanded, as allowed by the school by-laws, that he not be addressed so familiarly. Second, he was questioned by an auror yesterday under veritaserum. He was found innocent," Pomona screeched.

"I have to ask. Mister Potter was the only student that demanded their solicitor," Albus said looking like a disappointed grandfather.

"Since the ministry allowed you to put me with the Dursleys; I have no faith in them. That is why I demanded my solicitor. I demanded that before I even knew what they were asking. Just like Pomona here. I have no faith in you either," Harry said.

"That will be detention with me for the next…" Albus replied.

"Stop Albus. Just stop. You know I cannot allow this. Harry has done nothing you can punish him for under the by-laws," Pomona stated quite firmly.

"Pomona, you are treading…" Albus tried.

"What, are you going to fire me? Go ahead. I can guarantee that you would lose at least two other heads of house. I can imagine that more teachers would also follow. What do you think the school board would do?" Sprout replied daring the old man.

"Harry, you have not answered," Albus said ignoring Pomona. His rage grew as the boy ignored him. "Potter!"

Harry just looked at the wall past the headmaster while not responding to him.

"If you do not answer…." Albus started.

"Or you will do what? Expel me? Go for it. My solicitor has been talking to other magical schools. It seems since I am fluent in French, Madam Maxine would be happy to accept me. There is also Monte Tayler Oceana Schola Magica. They are trying to headhunt me, Hell, even the all-girl, Salem's School for Witches said that they would allow me to attend," Harry replied. This stunned Albus. If Harry left England, the island would fall under Tom. He had to stop that.

"I forbid that. As your magical guardian…"

"My parents will give that to Sirius black. Since he never had a trial and there is no positive proof that he is dead…"

"I don't care. You will obey me," Albus barked.

"No, I won't. If you press, there are actions, according to the by-laws that will require me to be immediately expelled. Some of those are not against the law. So take your attempt to control me and shove it up your arse, with respect headmaster," Harry retorted. "Someone has been spiking my food and drink with loyalty potions to you. Too bad it doesn't work. And thanks to a death-eater, I found out that I can resist the imperious. A death-eater that had no problem casting spells on me when I was away from the Dursleys." This shocked Albus. When had the boy encountered a death eater? How had the brat gotten away? What else had been going on around the boy that he did not know about? This was intolerable. How to get veritaserum into the boy without anyone else around. "Fine, you are dismissed."

{s}

Albus was in a fury. He had tried to stalk the brat. He never found the boy alone. He was always with a group of more than five students. He needed to talk to Harry. He needed to be sure.

Last night the safe house where all the survivors of the attacks plus families of many of his supporters burned to the ground. So many pure-bloods are dead. At this rate, his greater good would fail. What is the point of being the defacto king if your kingdom is empty? Harry needed to die at Tom's hands and soon. That way he could put all his resources into ending this madness. Too many pure-bloods were dying and he wasn't going to change the laws or culture to keep the mudbloods or half-breeds here.

{s}

"Mister Potter, where were you right before curfew last night?" Minerva asked.

"I was exploring a broom closet with Miss Weasley," Harry replied smugly.

{s}

"Albus, I talked with Harry. I also confirmed it with Ginevra. Harry could not have been part of that attack on our school last night. I also announced to the students that due to an accident last night, Aurora and twelve more students were dead. At this rate, if we do not bring in enough students next year, we will have to close." Minerva said

"Cornelius has given us two years to get the student count up. It is just that because of the low birthrates of the purebloods and the inferiors leaving, the population is declining. Even the mini baby boom after Tom fell; has not helped." Albus replied sadly.

"Have you tried to recruit outside of Great Britain?" Minerva asked.

"No, Hogwarts does not have the luster it had. We have a reputation for bigotry. Some of our exams are not worth anything off our island. We are not allowed to teach, for a very good reason, some classes that are ICW standards." Albus whined.

"Well, you did pass all those laws…"

"Yes, I did. They were for the greater good. If it is not magic we can control or not pure light magic, it is evil. One of these days, I hope more will realize that," Albus said with finality.

{s}

"Minerva, have you seen Mister Potter," Albus asked.

"I have, you probably shouldn't bother him. He is in a broom closet with Miss Weasley," Minerva replied.

"That is good. But I still need to see him about his whereabouts for Friday night," Albus said.

"Same bint, different broom closet," Minerva replied cheekily.

"Minerva! Are you sure," Albus asked again.

"Yes, Albus. I followed him afterward back to his common room. Why are you asking?" Minerva replied.

"Just assuaging my fears," Albus said. Then added because of her frown. "Someone has been targeting older members. That is what Madam Bones thinks. She is unsure if it is one person or group going after the order."

"What about the other killings?"

"That is what she doesn't know. It could be one person; more likely one group killing each of the groups. It may be just one doing all the killing, but unlikely. Four groups her best guess. Since Mister Potter has the largest grievance against me…"

"Does he know about all your manipulations?"

"No, he would not be around the bint or confronted us by now."

"There you go Albus, leave sleeping dragons lie."
