Waking up in a random place wasn't anything new to me. Waking up in a fancy room, however, was a first. I looked around, trying to find a camera, to see if someone was pranking me. Or maybe a shitty kidnapping. If so, they wouldn't get much ransom money. I decided to get out of bed and opened the curtains. Light flooded my eyes and I winced and covered them. Bright as fuck for no reason. I glowered at the sun, before looking out the window to the surrounding area.

I was in a penthouse suite, and boy, it was nice. I had no idea what I was doing here, or even what city I was in. But I wasn't complaining yet. Might as well explore the rest of the suite. Maybe find something to pawn as I made my escape. I crept to the door and opened it as quietly as I could, observing the grand hall and making a decision to go towards the kitchen at the end of it. While I was moving closer, the scent of pancakes and sausage hit my nose.

I got to the end of the hall and peeked into the kitchen. An absolutely stunning black-haired lady with the complexion of flour was making breakfast. She didn't look too scary, but I knew that even people were monsters. How could I steal some food and make it out of here without her noticing? The door was just on the other side of the kitchen. The food was on the counter. I could possibly sneak past while she was focused on flipping pancakes.

Before I could set any plan into most, a soft voice called out. "Are you going to hide behind the counter or are you going to come eat child?"

She had noticed me? How? I turned the corner and stood there. She turned to me, not an ounce of a smile on her face.

"Who are you and why am I here?" I demanded out of her.

She merely laughed and faced back towards the food. "I am the goddess Khione, and you are here because I brought you here. I wish to make a deal with you, mortal."

I couldn't stop the frown from forming on my face. Goddess? God had a wife? Her name was what?

"God doesn't have a wife. Pretty sure he's alone up there, if he was real."

She snickered, coldly. It sent chills down my spine. "Not the big one, Chaos hasn't been seen since his little godling roamed the earth. I'm talking about Greek mythos. I am a goddess in the Greek Pantheon, specifically the goddess of snow and the winter season."

Sure, sure. So, I was in some crazy lady's house, and she said she was some type of god. Well, everyone has their delusions. Right as I was about to book it, she held out her hand and a mini tornado of ice and snow formed in her palm. She pushed it towards me. I watched it float through the air and like it was calling me, reached out for it. It settled in my palms, whirring around and jumping like a Beyblade.

Huh. What do you know? I wasn't one to believe crazy people, but this was some pretty damning evidence.

"Sit down and eat, and I'll explain everything to you." She said, gesturing towards the island with stools, covered in food to eat. Fuck yeah, I'll eat it all woman. Er, goddess. Ma'am? Whatever. I climbed up on to a stool, grabbed a plate, and piled it up with sausage and pancakes and topped them off with butter and syrup. As a dug in she went on this huge tale about titans and gods and giants and a war and more gods. Then she got into an interesting side. Children of gods. Demigods. She told me all about them, their powers depending on who their parents were, their constant escape from the clutches of monsters, their daily troubles. The way she described them, it seemed like I was one of these demigods. I asked her so.

"I believe you are. However, you are unusual. I don't know who your godly parent is, but your powers are similar if not the same to mine. So, I decided to bring you here and teach you how to survive. You will be a deadly weapon, and I will make you the greatest demigod alive. Past or present."

I didn't like the sound of this. I didn't sound very free-willed. Was she trying to make me her slave, to carry out her chores that she didn't want to do?

Frowning, I looked back at her. "What do you mean weapon?"

She grinned, staring off into the distance over my head. "You see, morals and gods alike have not respected me. They write my off as a second-rate goddess. I am more dangerous than they think I am. With you, I will prove to them that I am more than capable of holding my own, and they will respect my power."

"So, you just want to use me?"

She finally looked back at me. "Well but of course. I will mold you into a living breathing weapon that will threaten even Zeus. I will become the most powerful goddess, and based on the way the powers are shifting down under, my time will come soon."

I didn't like the way any of that sounded. "What if I say no?"

Her face slowly morphed into an unrecognizable expression, but it was dark. "Who said you had a choice child? You will obey or you will be another ice sculpture in my garden."

I gulped, audibly too. Maybe I could still run away from the crazy lady. I slowly tried shimmying off the seat, when suddenly, I felt drowsy. The world started spinning, and for the second time, my vision went black. That's fucking fantastic.

Khione's P.O.V.

Foolish child. This would've been a lot easier if he had been willing to just obey my every command. Now I had to cash in a favor. One that I wanted to save till I needed it. I grabbed the boy and flashed to the place that would fix this mess. Circe's Island.

I flashed onto the pier, as she didn't allow immortals further into the island by divine travel and began walking towards her little resort. Circe was perhaps one of the only two people I called friend, and we often helped each other out.

She owed me a big one after I helped her with a crew of pirates. I made my way inside and dinged the little bell in the reception area. Three women appeared almost instantly. They gave a deep bow.

"Lady Khione, pleasure to see you. What can we help with today?"

I gestured towards the unconscious boy at my feet.

"I need a little brain washing for this boy here. Not very obedient you see."

They nodded. "Yes, my lady, we'll grab mistress CC immediately. Would you like him to be placed in a holding room in the meantime?"

"Yes please. I'll also do a bath while I wait."

They nodded, and secured chains around the boy, dragging him along to the back. I made my way towards the bathing areas. Circe would be with me soon. I undressed and sunk into a hot spring, finding comfort in the magical relief waters. I didn't wait long before I heard rapid, quick steps approaching me.

I opened my eyes to see Circe walking up to me, a broad smile on her face.

"Khione, you barely visit anymore! I hear you need a little assistance. What is the nature of brainwashing you need?"

I grinned back at her. "I have a demigod that I want to develop into a personal assassin or bodyguard. He isn't very open to the idea."

She frowned. "Complete will power change is going to be more difficult, especially with a mortal. There are certain demigods that the brainwash wears off. Are you sure?"

"Quite sure. He will be important; I can feel it in the air. I need him."

She nodded. "I assume you're cashing in on that favor?"

"I am, so I expect the best of the best. I wouldn't mind any permanent boosts you have either."

"What kind of boosts are you looking for? Physical? Mental? Power?"

"All of the above, anything you have that will make him a perfect weapon."

"We're out of almost everything physical that a normal demigod can handle besides photographic reflexes. Mentally, I can give him photographic memory. Power wise, we don't have anything to increase his power, but he would be able to have full control over them."

"That sounds even better than expected."

"Well, we only give the best service. I'll have him done by three. You can pick him up in the lobby."

She bustled away, going to town in her notebook and calling her attendants. I sunk back into the bath, finding discomfort in the warm water now, and lifted a hand, changing it into ice cold water running over my body. Much better.

"Kelly!" Circe called out. Kelly appeared almost instantly. "I need you to take the boy Khione just brought in and do a full brainwashing. Use the full vial of centaur spit, not a drop wasted, and 6 eyes of a newt. Dismissed."

She walked away from Kelly.

"But Circe, Andrea usually handles the washings!"

"I'm going to use her for something different. Be sure to do it right."

She didn't even glance over her shoulder at the young lady.

Kelly sighed. Of course, she was stuck with handling the nasty boy. She walked to the holding rooms, grabbing the boy and tugging his underfed frame to the potion room. She stuck him in a bath, except his head and began filling it with water. She pulled out the brainwashing book and began adding ingredients to the water. She got to the last two ingredients. The vial and the eyes. She counted out 6 of them and dropped them in. She tilted the vial and poured the disgusting spit into the bath.

Gagging, she threw the vial into the trash can. The vial with a single drop remaining in it, unknown to her. She began stirring the ingredients in the bath and then let him sit in it for exactly 28 minutes before pulling him out.

In another room, Circe was mixing a potion with her attendant Andrea. "Hand me a pinch of Chimera's fur."

"We are out of it milady."

Circe groaned. "Of course, we are. I need more shipments in. Well what furs do we have?"

"We have Nemean, Cerberus, Minotaur, and Sphinx."

Circe thought for a moment. "Nemean lion. Do we have Centaur blood?"

Andrea poked around the piles of ingredients before finding what she needed. "Yes milady."

"Three of Athena's owl feathers?"

Some more rummaging. "Yes milady."

"How about drakon's tooth?"

The sound of glass breaking made Circe sigh again. She didn't know why she kept Andrea around. Despite being her daughter, she couldn't make a potion to save her life.

"Just one milady."

"Bring all those here."

After stirring the pot and letting the ingredients boil down, she took the remaining sludge and put it in a jar. Walking to the potion room, she approached the boy, still unconscious on the ground. She poured the sludge down his throat. He coughed but did not wake. After a few seconds his whole body started glowing.

Circe frowned. That was not normal. Perhaps the wrong fur wouldn't be good. The boy stopped glowing and nothing changed. Well, maybe not.

"Take him back to the lobby, wait till three to give him back to Khione. If anything happens to him before that time, report to me immediately."

They grabbed the boy and rag dolled him out of the room. As they watched over him, they began conversing about new things they had learned that day.

Percy's P.O.V.

Two female voices stirred me from my slumber. I opened my eyes blurrily to see two unfamiliar girls staring at me. I looked around and noticed everything looked familiar. I couldn't recall anything. My mind was almost blank. I could remember vague things, like what a girl was, but I couldn't remember meeting or knowing any. It was like that for everything. I knew what it was, but I didn't know it.

I went to get up, but my shackled feet and wrists gathered my attention when I couldn't. I was a prisoner. Who was I? I tried asking the girls, but they just sneered at me and left the room. I just laid there, taking in the bland room where I was. After about 15 minutes and woman walked in. Her black hair and brown eyes seemed vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place anything.

She stopped in front of me. "Do you know who you are?"
I wracked my brain for an answer. "No. Do you know who I am?"

She merely grinned. "Perfect. I know exactly who you are. You belong to me."

I didn't like the icy stare in her eyes. "I'm your slave?"

"Not exactly. You will be much more than a slave, my little destroyer."

With a wave of her hand, my chains froze over and then snapped. She gestured for me to follow her.

I had nothing better to do so I followed her.
