This is a reboot of my Sonic the Hedgehog story. Long story short: I bit off more than I can chew with that story and have decided to start fresh with a different approach. As well as several changes to make the story a bit more of a fresh read. Hope you enjoy all the same.

When Eggman uses the time eater, he creates a timeline in which Sonic never existed - and his friends had never met. Sonic enters a world that is conquered by the mad doctor, and finds his friends split across different allegiances and goals. Now, he must find a way to bring his old friends back together to take down the Empire and restore the timeline to what it once was.

It's the same scene as always: the wrecked remains of Metal Sonic left on the battlefield. This time, a certain little fox is lingering nearby. Metal has some choices to make. Only time will tell if he chose wisely.

Eggman abandons earth to conquer another dimension. He sends back technology offering perpetual renewable energy to rescue humanity from the climate crisis. Sonic is placed in a moral dilemma on whether to stop Eggman or leave the other realm to its fate.

Sonic and team thought it would be a routine investigation mission to Blaze's dimension. But when an ancient evil named Mirage emerges from the ashes, it ignites a fight for the very fate of reality itself. Wrestling with demons from her past and unexpected feelings for a certain black hedgehog, Blaze must find a way to make peace with who she was and who she is. shadaze

Doctor Robotnik is simultaneously touch averse and touch starved, which results in a plan to "get the touching needs over with" in the most efficient way he could think of: cuddles overnight, when he wouldn't be doing anything useful anyway. Agent Stone was not privy to the plan until they arrived at their hotel room for their business trip.
