Chapter 12: The Four Season Bladers

"Now then, why don't you kiddies just come along with us, nice and quietly?" Johannes sneered.

"I'm afraid I only follow the will of Star Goddess." Dynamis refused. "I have no desire to assist in the revival of the God of Destruction."

"Thousands of years ago, the God of Destruction predicted his own revival." Johannes snorted. "So, isn't the revival of Nemesis actually the fate chosen by Heavens themselves?"

"That is not something that can be decided by Nemesis or the great evil, much less someone like you." Dynamis scoffed. "Whether the God of Destruction is allowed to be revived or not is up to the Legendary Bladers of the Four Seasons chosen by the new Star Fragment."

"When you say the Four Seasons, you mean Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter, right?" Madoka confirmed.

"What are you talking about?" Johannes demanded.

"So, it seems the great evil does not know about these facts." Dynamis remarked. "'A new light will arrive; a light that will choose new warriors to receive the power of Mother Earth. The Stars of the Four Seasons will point the way to a bright future.' It was a very long time ago that the five Solar System Bladers were infused with the power of Gaia to seal away Nemesis. But the scars left by that battle were severe. This tragedy could not be allowed to happen again. However, it would be the duty of those born into that age to protect the world of the future. In response to the prediction of a revival left behind by Nemesis, King Zeus used a spell left by the Goddess Asteria to split Gaia's power into four parts, entrusting that power to the people of the future. He left behind a new prediction for the future: that when the threat of Nemesis' revival approaches, a Star Fragment will come again and descend on the Beys of the Earth's beautiful Four Seasons. And now, that prediction has come true. As the long years passed, many new Beys named after the constellations of the Four Seasons were born."

"The Pegasus constellation of Cosmic Pegasus is an Autumn constellation." Yuki realized.

"And Kyoya's Leone." Madoka added. "The Leo constellation is a Spring constellation."

"And Mr. Ryuga's L-Drago Destructor comes from the Summer constellation, Draco." Yuki noted. "Mr. Ginga and the others are the Legendary Bladers of the Four Seasons. They've been chosen by the new Star Fragment."

"Those who possess pieces of the Star Fragment have roles to play." Dynamis reiterated. "The roles of the Legendary Bladers who inherited the Solar System Beys is to lend their strength in order to prevent the God of Destruction from going on a rampage in the event Nemesis is revived. They must choose their own future in the age in which they find themselves living today. That is the role of the Legendary Bladers who hold the newly created Beys of the Four Seasons. If their hearts are righteous and if they desire to save the world from the God of Destruction, then I will follow the will of Star Goddess and fight with them."

"Dynamis battled with Ginga and Pegasus in order to see if they were truly Bladers with good hearts." Madoka realized.

"Then, there's no problem." Ginga assured. "Of course, we don't want the revival of the God of Destruction."

"Kronos, the Saturn Bey." Dynamis turned to Aguma. "It came to you, I understand. You must accept your true role as a Legendary Blader. You hold one of the Solar System Beys."

"Are you telling me to throw away the Beylin Fist's plans just because you told us some sort of fairy tale?" Aguma scoffed. "The only thing we believe in is our own amazing power. We have but one desire in this world: the revival of the Beylin Fist."

"You must open your eyes, Warrior of Saturn." Dynamis advised. "Your power was not meant for fulfilling your own ambitions. It is not your destiny."

"Stop talking already." Johannes retorted. "I've had enough of your babbling. Time's up. Now we have to take you and your precious little Goddess with us by force." he launched his Bey.

"You can try." Dynamis countered.

"Go, Hades Crown!" Bao also released his Bey.

"Pegasus!" Ginga launched his Bey, Yuki following suit, with Benkei, Nile and Demure in rapid succession.

"Looks like you'll be my opponent." Aguma turned his attention to Kyoya. "Go, Kronos!"

"You never learn." Kyoya snarled and countered with Leone.

"Solid Iron Wall!" Aguma wasted no time in summoning a powerful tornado.

"Don't look over there." Johannes' Bey clashed with Pegasus.

"Not happening." Yuki sent Anubius in.

"So, you think your attacks can stop Lynx?" Johannes mocked. "So bad for you." he taunted, Lynx easily dodged Anubius. "Now just agree to do what I say." he had Lynx batter Jupiter's shield.

"That will do nothing." Dynamis was unfazed.

"Dynamis!" Ginga cut in, throwing Lynx off.

"An attack like that won't work against my Leone." Kyoya mocked, Leone and Kronos clashing against each other.

"A Blader with goodness in his heart is quite different indeed." Aguma remarked. "However, I won't lose to a so-called lion like you again. I don't think you have any fangs, just gums. You say you want to settle the score with Ginga? In the end, you're nothing but talk. Just admit you believe that guy's nonsense because it makes you feel like some sort of savior."

"Look here." Kyoya glared. "I've never pretended to be anyone's savior."

"Aguma." Bao warned, seeing Kronos was flung back by Leone. "Focus your attacks on the Legendary Bladers." he told the other Beylin Fist bladers.

"Be careful, Kyoya." Nile cautioned.

"Go, Leone." Kyoya called forth his own tornado, throwing the other Beylin Fist Beys out of the Beydish.

"Gotcha." Aguma took the opening and entered the storm, dispelling the whirlwind. "What is this?" he mocked. "I thought you had some spirit, but I was dead wrong. You'll never survive in the wild by yourself. If you show that big of an opening, you'll never last a minute."

"Is that so?" Kyoya snarled, clashing with Kronos. "Enough of this. I'll just send all of you flying together." he summoned an even more powerful gale.

"If you used your special move in a place like this, everyone will get hit by it." Madoka reminded.

"So what?" Kyoya snapped. "It doesn't matter to me whether you're an enemy or an ally. I am a lion that lives alone in the wild. All I do is tear apart what's in front of me until nothing remains. Special Move: King Lion Crushing Fang!"

"Enough of this foolishness!" Asteria barked, igniting her Divine Aura and forcing Leone back into its Bey.

"No way..." Johannes stammered, taken aback by the Divine Aura the Star Goddess was emitting. "So, you've revealed yourself, have you, Asteria? How foolish. I can't move..." the Nemesis seeker was rooted in place by the pressure of Goddess' Aura. "Asteria is right in front of me. This is my greatest chance. But what can I do, in the face of this incredible Aura? So, this is Goddess Asteria... I understand." he was forced to back down. "I am not such a fool as to fight a battle I cannot win. We'll withdraw."

"I'm done here." Kyoya scoffed, going off after Johannes and his group pulled out. "You all can do whatever you want on your own."

"A foul wind has begun to blow now." Dynamis muttered.

The next day...

"The Four Season Legendary Bladers?" Ryūsei echoed after Ginga contacted the WBBA Headquarters.

"That's right." Ginga nodded. "It turns out that there are actually two types of Legendary Bladers."

"The Star Fragment entered Beys that were named for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter." Madoka clarified.

"The Autumn one is Mr. Ginga's Pegasus." Yuki added. "And the Spring one is Mr. Kyoya's Leone."

"The Summer Bey is Ryuga's L-Drago." Ginga supplied.

"The only one left is the Winter constellation Bey." Yuki stated.

"Masamune's Ray Striker comes from the Unicorn constellation, Monoceros." Madoka piped in. "A Winter constellation."

"I see." Ryūsei noted. "Masamune's Striker may contain the power of a Star Fragment, making him one of the Legendary Bladers, too."

"We're going to wake him up right now." Ginga declared. "Oh yeah, one more thing, Dad." he started. "We found Seina-nee; turns out she's Asteria's current incarnation. But you knew already, didn't you?"

"Your daughter, Director?" Hikaru gawked.
