Chapter 15: The Child of Nemesis
"Let's hurry, everyone!" Ginga took the lead as the group dashed towards Nemesis' hideout.
In the hideout's basement...
"It's happening." Pluto grinned as Proto Nemesis was absorbing Aguma and Chris' Star Fragment energies. "Nemesis is reacting. So, they have come, after all."
"Once Nemesis began moving, an incredible energy that cannot be hidden sprung forth." the cloaked Doji explained to the awakening Aguma and Chris. "So, we expected all along that Ginga and the others would catch its scent and make their way here. Or you could even say we lured them here on purpose in order to steal the power of something; the power from the Star Fragment they possess."
"Just who are you?" Aguma demanded.
"He's the other servant of Hades who has been searching for the Child; the Child of the Black Sun that I spoke of." Johannes replied.
"I have managed to return at the perfect time." Doji drawled. "Seems like I keep getting luckier. I'm sorry to keep you waiting, Master Pluto."
"So, you have found him." Pluto noted.
"Yes, I have." Doji responded. "Here he is."
"Who are they?" Aguma turned to the newcomers.
"I am one of the three soldiers whose duty is to defend the Black Sun." Herschel answered. "Herschel of the Planet Uranus."
"I am Keyser of the constellation Musca." Keyser added.
"Cycnus of constellation Cygnus." Cycnus introduced himself.
"Hear me." Rago reached out a hand, controlling the energy surge from Proto Nemesis. "It's still not powerful enough. The new light will be turned into a new put of darkness to create an even deeper darkness. Go now, thy followers, hear me. Turn the even slightest hope those fools have into power for the almighty Black Sun."
Outside the pyramid...
"It's suspiciously quiet." Masamune remarked, the group stopping near some bushes.
"That's good for us." Yuki stated. "That must mean the enemy doesn't know we are here yet."
"Let's go, guys." Ginga told his group and they dashed out of the bushes. "Is that..." he spotted Seina and Dynamis in the distance. "Seina-nee, Dynamis?"
A cry from Beat Lynx interrupted the sibling reunion.
"It's Lynx." Ginga recognized the Beyblade.
"Chuckleheads." Johannes taunted, arriving with Bao and the other Beylin Fist fighters. "Did you really think we didn't know you were here? Nemesis is active now. It's in the middle of its revival ceremony."
"I won't allow you to interfere." Bao led the charge.
"Here we go, everyone." Ginga and the others countered.
"Your opponents will be us." Toby declared with Zeo and Benkei in tow. "Guys, Nemesis' revival has to be stopped by you, by the power of you Legendary Bladers."
"Leave this to us and go on ahead." Zeo instructed.
"Stop right there." Johannes sneered, his vanguard team was forced to let the others onward.
Inside the pyramid...
"This way." Dynamis and Yuki led the group in, just as Yui and Kyoya arrived in a helicopter with Tithi on board.
"What is this place?" Ginga looked around, the group found themselves in a Bey stadium.
"I've been waiting for you, Ginga." Aguma voiced. "These stadiums have been prepared especially for the battle with you. The revival of Nemesis will bring about what the Beylin Fist desires the most. If you want to interfere with that goal, you will have to go through me."
"If you insist on this thing, I'll battle you." Ginga accepted the challenge. "What?" he blinked when Yuki cut in, launching his Bey first.
"Mr. Ginga is not the only one who owes you payback." Yuki reminded. "As the one who is charged with gathering the warriors to fight Nemesis, I must take responsibility for the defeat at ToRyumon and for failing to get you to join us. So, I will stop you now, no matter what."
"As long as your Bey is one that possesses the power of the light that fell from the sky, the result will be exactly the same." Aguma scoffed. "That power will be given to the God of Destruction."
"I can't stand it." King whined. "I just want to battle too. There's even another stadium right there. Isn't there someone for me to battle?"
"Who's there?" Masamune demanded, hearing two Beys land on the ground. "Get out of my way, baldie." he snapped when Herschel made his appearance.
"We will be your opponents." Keyser made his presence known.
"Go, Duo Ice-Titan." Herschel sent his Bey to battle.
"Bakushin Beelzeb." Keyser followed suit.
"Let's go, Masamune" King came to his friend's aid.
"What's wrong?" Aguma mocked. "You're the Legendary Blader with the Mercury Bey. Why don't you show me more of your power while you're there?"
"I won't allow myself to lose here." Yuki swore.
Just then, a nearby wall was blasted in and Kyoya's group entered the fight.
"Hi there, everyone." Yui beamed.
"This is the first time I've seen so many strong Bladers gathered in one place." Tithi gushed.
"Tithi, why don't you join in as well?" Yui offered.
"I'm so shy." Tithi mumbled.
"Come on, Tithi." Yui encouraged. "Just try."
"I will like to try battling that Bey, the one you're fighting." Tithi approached Yuki, removing his mask. "Will you switch with me, please? I can't wait any longer. Please battle my Quetzalcoatl."
"Quetzalcoatl?" Yuki blinked.
"So that means..." Ginga gaped.
"All of the Legendary Bladers have gathered in these ruins." Seina concluded. "I can feel him... the Child of Hades."
