Chapter 21: The Missing Star of the Four Seasons

"Ryuga!" Kenta ran over. "This can't be."

"This is what happens to those who tried to oppose us." Pluto bragged.

"L-Drago will never spin again." Rago declared. "It is over."

"Not so." Seina corrected. "L-Drago, like his master, is still alive, merely hanging by a thread. I can try to pull them both back."

"Do it." Ginga nodded. "You monsters." he glared at Pluto and Rago. "I will never forgive you."

"Forgive us?" Pluto mocked. "The summer constellation Bey that possessed the power of the Star Fragment has already expired."

"That means, unless Lady Asteria revives L-Drago, Zeus' Barrier can never ever be totally completed." Dynamis realized, Seina having locked Ryuga, L-Drago and herself in a hemisphere of her Divine Aura. "Long ago, the power of Gaia was what was key to helping the Solar System Blader Warriors seal away the God of Destruction."

"You Legendary Bladers of the Four Seasons have chosen this for yourself." Pluto laughed. "If you're looking for someone to blame, blame the silly worm that thought he could stand against the God of Destruction on his own. It will be his last mistake."

"Save it." Gigna snapped. "You don't know the first thing about Ryuga. "I have put my life on the line to battle Ryuga in the past many times and I can't say he's ever really our ally. Still, Ryuga underwent training none of us could even imagine; he had to in order to gain the power he had. He was no different than every Blader who wants to be the best. He was surely stronger than any of us in the end. Ryuga is my strongest rival and he's irreplaceable."

"I don't like him." Kyoya admitted. "But I will not allow you to talk that way about him."

"We will do this, even if we don't have Gaia's help to back us." Ginga stood firm. "We will defeat you."

"What a waste of time." Pluto smirked as the Legendary Bladers took over the fight. "Rago."

"I will send you all to Hades as well." Rago readied for the next fight.

With the Legendary Bladers beaten back, Masamune, Yuu, Tsubasa and Kenta joined the battle.

"King, stop them from moving, even if it's just for a moment." Aguma went into Battle General mode. "While he does that, the rest of us will get into battle formation. Everyone, get behind me." he instructed, having let Variares take the opening move. Anubius and Jupiter, take the right side. Orion and Leon, folloe me on the left. Pegasus, stay directly behind Kronos. I will make an opening for you. You all follow me and attack from both sides in an ordered sequence."

"What about me?" Tithi asked.

"Attack however you like." Aguma replied. "Aim for when it switches to the Attack Type performance tip, because that's when its defenses are weakened."

"Without the power of Gaia, Nemesis cannot be sealed away." Rago declared, having easily defeated the others. "Now that you've lost that key power, there is only one fate that awaits you." expanding Nemesis' power, he threw the Bladers back. "You will disappear, along with the rest of this entire world."

"The time for King Hades' prophecy to be realized has arrived for us all." Pluto announced, Rago having unleashed Nemesis' power onto the Earth, causing disasters to occur all over the globe.

Is that your final decision, Ryuga? Seina inquired, having pulled Ryuga and L-Drago back from the brink of death, Kenta was still facing off against Rago.

I'm sure. Just get this over with, woman. Ryuga snarled.

"Ryuga." the battered Kenta turned to the revived Ryuga.

"That one time." Ryuga started. "It was only for a brief shining moment, I became serious. I promised. Take it, Kenta." he launched L-Drago at Sagittario and transferred the Star Fragment's power to the archer Bey.

"Ryuga..." Kenta breathed, Seina sending Ryuga and L-Drago away in a burst of starlight.

"It can't be." Dynamis was shocked when Sagittario evolved.
