Y/N applied one last coating of mascara to her lashes before fluffing her curled hair a bit and standing from her vanity. The last couple days had flown by and it was time for Ignis to return to the Citadel and return to his duties. It was also time for Y/N to return to her training with Gladio. She also had a meeting with the Royal Council in the afternoon. She dreaded those meetings. She always felt so out of place and judged there. She wished Ignis were apart of them. He had become somewhat of a security blanket to her the past week. She was too afraid to leave the apartment by herself and he was her only company the last seven days.
They shared another intimate night together, the same as the one prior. It made her feel closer to Ignis, but she still shied away from him during the day. Every so often, Ignis would catch her eye and she swore she could sense him thinking about what they had done together. A faint blush would shade Ignis' cheeks and the corner of his lips would lift ever so slightly. She could also sense the slight disappointment he may have felt last night when she went straight to bed after dinner. As much as she enjoyed their new nightly activity together, they were out of wine and she didn't feel as courageous without it.
Bernie would be leaving her this week as well. He was only meant to be her body guard until she was married. He was under orders to return back to Altissia. Y/N had tried to contact her mother multiple times to ask if he could stay longer, but she was never able to get ahold of her.
That wasn't the only reason she wished to speak with her mother. She still hadn't received word from her since her wedding. Not a congratulations, not any well wishes…nothing. It hurt Y/N. Why hadn't her parents or even her brother contacted her? Something didn't feel right. Sure her and her mother fought often and didn't get along as well as she wished they did, but she would never outright ignore her like this. The last few times she conversed with her mother were strange as well. She was hiding something from her, Y/N knew it. But what could be so bad, so important, she couldn't share it? Surely it had nothing to do with Insomnia, did it?
"Are you ready, Y/N?" Ignis asked from the living room.
Y/N checked her phone one last time for any messages before sighing and heading out of the bedroom door.
"I'm ready," she replied, walking into the living room carrying a small duffel bag with her training clothing in it.
Y/N wasn't looking forward to starting her morning working up a sweat. She had preferred to have the council meeting first, but unfortunately her schedule today didn't work out in her favor. After changing in the locker room into her sparing clothes, she tied her hair up in a knot on top of her head and walked out into the large gym looking for Gladio. When she spotted him on the mat on the far side of the room, she slowly made her way over to him. She really didn't feel like being slammed around on the mat today either. Maybe they would work on some light movements.
"Good morning Gladio," she said as she got within about ten feet of him. He looking up from where he was wrapping his wrist and his face fell almost immediately.
Gladio stared at her a bit, his eyes seeming almost…sad. After a heavy sigh and a quick glance around the room, he looked back at her and spoke quietly.
"Have you spoken to Cor yet?" he asked her.
"Um…no. Was I supposed to?" she asked, unsure of what he was referring to.
"You know you always have to report these things to Cor. Even if Iggy does it for you, Cor still needs to speak with you. Where did it happen this time? At the apartment?" He sighed again and rubbed his hand down his face. "I knew we needed security there. Just Ignis obviously isn't enough. And where was he by the way? Did he see it?"
"What are you talking about?" she asked, tilting her head a bit, clearly confused.
"Were you attacked by that man again?" he asked in a harsh whisper.
"No…why would you ask that?"
"Then who left those bruises on your neck?"
"Bruises?" she asked, bringing a hand up to her throat wondering what on Ios Gladio was speaking of.
"You have marks all down the side of your neck," he told her.
Y/N stood there a few moments wondering what Gladio could possibly mean. She took a few steps over to the large wall mirror to her right to study her neck for herself. Sure enough, all down the side of her throat were dark red, some almost purple, marks. But they were only down one side. The side Ignis always kissed when they…had their fun those couple nights. Oh no. Those weren't bruises from their mystery man. Those were…hickeys. She hadn't thought to look at herself closely when she changed in the locker room and put her hair up in a ponytail. And she didn't pay any attention when doing her hair and make-up at home. They were far enough back from her throat that her hair hid them well.
"That's, um," she stammered. "It's nothing. Really. Let's just begin."
"Come on princess," Gladio argued. "We can't just ignore this. It will never get better if we do."
"No it's…it's not from who you think it is. Please, let's just continue."
"If he didn't do it, who did?"
"No one. It's fine."
"Don't give me that shit. What, you tripped and fell on your neck or some bullshit excuse? Look, you can trust me okay? Would you rather tell Cor or Monica? I'll take you there, it's fine."
"No! Please, I swear! It's nothing," she continued to argue back.
"I'll get it out of Ignis if not from you."
"No! Just…leave it be. Please!" she begged.
"Does Ignis know? Why are you hiding this? If something is happening, it's nothing to be embarrassed about but it needs to be solved!"
"I don't know if Ignis knows! I mean, maybe considering he's the one who…" she suddenly cut herself off.
"He's the one who what?" Gladio asked, narrowing his eyes. When Y/N didn't say anything more, just shook her head, he lowered his voice even further and heaved out a sigh. "No. Ignis…Ignis didn't do that…did he?"
They had went through this before when she showed up for training all bruised up. But she was quite adamant that Ignis would never hurt her then. What changed now?
"I'm certain he didn't mean to," Y/N rushed to assure him.
"Y/N…what happened?" Gladio gently asked her. "Look, I know me and Iggy are best friends but I promise you can trust me. I'll beat the bastard black and blue myself if need be. Just tell me what happened. Please."
"It's not like that! He didn't hurt me! We were just…having fun."
Gladio looked at her a few moments in silence. He took a long hard look at her neck before a thought dawned on him.
"Did Ignis do that with…his hands? Or something else."
"Something else," she answered him.
"What something else?" he asked her, wondering if he needed to have a talk with his friend about rope safety in the bedroom.
"His…his mouth," she whispered out so low, Gladio almost didn't catch it.
"Gotcha," Gladio sighed, mostly in relief while running a hand down his face. "You know what, let's just get back to business, eh?" He turned around to smirk into his hand. He was going to have so much fun teasing Iggy for this later. Schooling his face, he turned back towards Y/N to get started sparing.
Y/N carefully sipped her hot tea as she sat across from Prompto in the small cafe inside the Citadel.
"Thank you for letting me stop here for a moment," Y/N said.
"Oh, no problem! I'm glad you ended up liking this place," Prompto responded. They sat in silence a few minutes while Prompto fidgeted before he spoke again trying to fill the silence. "So…how have things been with Iggy at home? You…settled in good and stuff?"
"Yes, things are fine, thank you."
"Did you guys do anything fun on your honeymoon?"
Y/N's cheeks flared up a bit at the thought of the fun they did have. She adjusted her hair a bit around her neck and resisted the urge to grab the spot where she knew the marks littered.
"Just…regular things."
"It's too bad you guys couldn't go somewhere. Ya know, like, get away and have a real honeymoon. Something more romantic than Iggy's apartment."
"Hmm," Y/N just hummed in response.
"It's still kinda weird seeing him with someone. I mean, no offense or anything!" he quickly blurted out. "He's just never shown any interest in anyone before. He doesn't even talk about girls. Maybe I'm just used to Gladio and Noct, I dunno."
"I see," Y/N said quietly, sipping her tea again.
"Some people even thought he was into guys or something, but I mean he's married to you so he can't be, right?"
Y/N just shrugged her shoulders.
"He could like both. It's not like he picked me, exactly," she said.
"Oh! I mean…" Prompto stammered. "I mean he kinda did. Didn't he? He was asked if he wanted you and he said yes! That's something! I didn't mean to…I mean, I'm sure Ignis is like totally into you! He seems happy when he's with you! That means something!"
"Sure," Y/N reluctantly agreed.
"Well, I mean you guys have had…ya know…right?" Prompto asked.
"I beg your pardon?" Y/N asked, cheeks heating up again.
"I mean, it's none of my business! I'm sorry I didn't mean to ask that! Just…forget I said that," Prompto covered his face in embarrassment.
Y/N thought back to their couple of nights they did engage in sexual activity. It meant something…right? Ignis didn't do anything to her but she stopped him. He wanted to…right? She wasn't sure why it suddenly mattered if Ignis wanted to bed her or not. She always avoided thinking about that and it quite honestly didn't pass her mind. She usually avoided him. But it was mostly out of stubbornness. Ignis wasn't a bad man. He wasn't ugly by any means, either. A small tickle hit her lower belly as she thought about him touching her back. Of her letting his fingers roam and not stopping them. What would he do? Would he enjoy it?
Y/N could feel her face heating more and knew she had to stop her thoughts from roaming any further.
"So…do you like pizza?" Prompto asked her randomly, still trying to recover from his blunder.
Ignis sat at his desk typing furiously, still trying to catch up on the few things that fell behind in his absence. It was nothing terribly important, but he hated being behind on anything no matter how small. His phone on the corner of his desk buzzed, signaling an incoming text message. He picked up the phone and noticed it was from Y/N.
Y/N: Just got to the meeting room.
Ignis had her text him as she got to her destinations today. He hoped he wasn't coming across as overbearing, but he knew he couldn't be around her today with his busy schedule and wanted to make sure her day back went smoothly. She still had an escort throughout the Citadel as she moved from one place to another, but the lack of sightings of their mystery man had Ignis on edge. He couldn't help but fear he was waiting around every corner ready to strike. And he couldn't help but feel his next strike would be a bigger one.
As Ignis continued to type, he noticed movement out of the corner of his eye. Glancing up real fast from his computer screen, he watched Gladio slowly enter his office. It was nothing new for his close friend to lounge around while he was working so he ignored him and went back to what he was doing. It seemed to take Gladio longer to sit down across from him than it normally did. The man was taking his time, smirking the whole way. When his friend finally sat down, he knew it wouldn't be long before he spoke. As his fingers continued to fly across his keyboard, Ignis almost began to feel a type of tension in the air the longer Gladio went without speaking. Glancing up a second time, he saw his friend just sitting slouched in the chair, chin resting on his hand, smirking at him. Ignis went back to his report for a few more minutes in silence before speaking first.
"Something I can help you with?" he asked.
"Oh no. Just visiting," Gladio answered.
Ignis continued to type in silence for a few more minutes before glancing up again. Something about his friend sitting there silently, smirking was unnerving him. Ignis cocked an eyebrow.
"Something on your mind?' he asked.
"A few things," Gladio responded.
"Care to share," Ignis sighed, going back to his work. "Or are you just going to sit there staring at me all afternoon?"
A few more moments passed in silence before Gladio spoke up.
"Enjoy your honeymoon?"
"It was pleasant, yes," Ignis said.
"Do anything fun or exciting?"
"I was confined to my apartment. Not sure how exciting things can get when you don't leave your home for a week."
"I dunno. Newlyweds can get up to some pretty fun things when left alone," Gladio continued smirking.
Ignis rolled his eyes. By now he was rather used to his friend's innuendos but they usually weren't so aimed at him as they have been the past few weeks.
"Didn't we speak of this the other day, Gladio?" Ignis asked, referring to when he stopped by the office for an important file he left in his office.
"We spoke of kissing. But I have this hankering you did a bit more than just that."
"And why is that, hmm?" Ignis asked, sounding uninterested. He knew his friend was trying to get details of some imaginary romp in the sheets out of him but there was nothing to tell.
"Oh nothing," Gladio said, waiting a few silent moments before speaking again. "Except maybe the hickies you left all down your wife's neck."
Ignis felt his his face whiten as his fingers suddenly stopped typing. Frozen in place, he looked across his desk at his friend still smirking at him.
"What do you mean?" he simply asked, hoping Gladio was joking.
"What are you confused about? Your wife's neck looked like someone strangled the life out of her. I thought someone actually did, until I asked her about it and realized they were only down one side. And resembled bite marks more than finger markings."
Ignis still sat frozen in his seat. Thinking back to the couple nights where he and Y/N engaged in…sexual activity, he was trying to remember leaving hickies on his wife's neck. Not much was passing through his mind at the time other than how wonderful he felt. How much he wanted to touch her back but he was only allowed to kiss her throat. But he didn't remember biting her or kissing her harshly. Perhaps he was more lost in the moment than he thought.
"Did you embarrass her?" Ignis asked.
"No, I didn't embarrass her," Gladio rolled his eyes. "Once I found out what had happened, we got back to sparing. And if it makes you feel better, she didn't give me any details either."
Ignis sighed and sat back in his chair. He wasn't sure what to say. Quite honestly, he didn't want to have a conversation about this but he knew his friend wouldn't let it go.
"So…you gonna tell me what else happened?"
"My personal life-"
"Is none of my business, yeah yeah. Look, we're best friends. I watched you two struggle to barely speak to each other and now this! Give me something here! I don't need gritty details, but let me be happy for you!"
"I appreciate your enthusiasm about my relationship-"
"Did she give you another hand job?" Gladio blurted out. Ignis sat silently looking at his desk, refusing to make eye contact. "She did! At least this time it looks like you may have given her a little something back, eh?"
"No Gladio, I…"
"Noooo," Gladio tilted his head, eyeing his friend. "You got your rocks off and just…left her high and dry? By the way her neck looked, I thought for sure you two got it on."
"She didn't want me to!" Ignis tried arguing back.
"What, she told you to back off? Or you just assumed?"
"She said…well I don't remember exactly what she said, but she gave the impression with her words that my…wondering hand should stop its pursuit."
"Okay. Fair enough. Have you guys done anything since then?"
"She…did it again the next night," Ignis reluctantly told his friend.
"And she told you to stop again?"
"I didn't even try. I figured if she stopped me the night before…"
"Then what, she doesn't want you ever? Look, I have a feeling she's not going to tell you when she does want it. You just gotta try a little bit each time."
"Gadio-"
"I'm not saying push her or anything. Just…a wandering finger brush here. A light caress there. So tell me, did she just like, scoot closer under the covers and stick her hand down your pants or what?"
"No. We aren't sleeping in the bed together."
"Wait wait wait," Gladio exclaimed, holding up his hands. "She's giving you handies and you aren't even sleeping together? Like, actually sleeping?"
"No. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable, so I took the couch."
"This whole time. Your whole honeymoon…you've been sleeping on the couch?"
"Yes," Ignis confirmed.
Gladio just stared at him with his eyebrows pinched.
"What on earth did you two do the whole time you were together? Just watch tv?"
"Well, Gladio, I was still working from home. Y/N frequently video chatted with her friend from back home. She also enjoyed watching tv most of the day. It's been a while since she's been able to watch it. I cooked us dinner each evening. I say it all sounds pretty domestic to me."
"Yeah but it was your honeymoon! I'm glad you at least got some kind of action. You gotta get in that bed though. We have to figure out how to get you two sleeping together at least. Then, all kinds of fun will follow. Trust me," Gladio winked.
It was Ignis' turn to roll his eyes as he got back to work.
"Has there been any issue with her escort detail today?" Ignis asked.
"Nah. Prompto has been assigned to her most of the day."
Ignis' jaw ticked as his fingers stopped typing again.
"Prompto?" he asked. "He's barely an official Crownsguard member."
"You were just singing his praises not too long ago," Gladio cocked an eyebrow. "Why the sudden criticism?"
"I'm not criticizing him. I'm just making sure my wife is safe. We haven't seen this man in a while and I have this weird feeling something big is on the horizon."
"Yeah I know what you mean. I kind of feel the same way," Gladio agreed. "I can have her detail changed if you wish."
Ignis eyes him but didn't say anything further. He couldn't shake the odd feelings of jealousy he got when Prompto was around his wife. Especially alone. He knew the two of them got along well, and he was happy his wife had someone whose company she could enjoy. But he wished she enjoyed his company that way. The last week brought them a bit closer. But he knew they still had a long way to go. Perhaps he would try initiating something himself tonight with her. If she enjoyed giving him pleasure, surely she would enjoy him giving her some. Right?
Ignis was finishing up typing his last report when Y/N appeared in his doorway. The guard with her was someone Ignis didn't recognize and he couldn't help feeling better for it.
"Are you still working?" she asked him, still standing in the doorway.
"Just finishing up actually. You have impeccable timing," he looked over at her. "You may come in, you know," he said, smiling at her.
Y/N shyly smiled, looking down at the floor before she walked further into the office. Her guard nodded his head at Ignis before excusing himself.
"I just need to file a few documents away and shut my computer down and we can head back home."
"Alright," Y/N quietly said, standing in front of Ignis' desk.
As Ignis walked over to his filing cabinet to put a few folders away, an idea struck him.
"Do you mind if I make a quick stop at the market before heading home?"
"No, of course not."
"Wonderful," Ignis said, smiling.
Ignis fished a few tasks in his office before the two of them left together and headed to the car parked in the parking garage. The ride to the market was silent, but not unpleasantly so. Ignis stopped at a small store as he mentioned and bought a small bag of items Y/N couldn't see. As they drove back to the apartment, Ignis finally spoke up.
"Was your day pleasant today?" he asked.
"I don't know if I would say pleasant exactly," Y/N smiled. "But it was uneventful. Which I suppose isn't all bad."
"No. All things considering, uneventful is good. Were you nervous?"
"A bit, perhaps. More so about the meeting than anything."
"Why so?" Ignis asked, glancing over at her momentarily.
"I just never like them much. I have this feeling the council hates me and thinks so little of me. Plus I never quite understand all that is discussed there. I'm still not certain why I am there most times."
"I can assure you that no one hates you. And all the new information can be daunting. I'm sure with time you will feel more confident being there."
"I just…" Y/N trailed off.
Ignis glanced over at her a few times waiting for her to continue.
"You just what?" he asked.
"I'm…I'm not sure if I can even tell you."
Ignis frowned.
"Why not? You can tell me anything," he told her gently.
"Even matters discussed in the council meetings?" she asked.
"Well…perhaps not quite anything. But if you have concerns I can get you in touch with Noctis or the King if it is dire."
"I'm not sure they could help me."
"Help you what, exactly?"
"I…I feel," Y/N took a long breath. "I can't help but feel like something is wrong. Back home. In Altissia."
Ignis frowned again and looked over at her. He ignored the fact she still referred to Altissia as home and wondered what could be troubling her so much.
"Why do you feel this way?" he asked.
"My mother is being quiet. Oddly so. And so distant. Sure we quarreled frequently, but she has turned so cold. The last time we spoke, she was almost cryptic and distant. The council…" she stopped a moment and glanced at him, wondering how much she could say. Ignis glanced back at her at mention of the council but allowed her to continue without interrupting her. "The council is having communication issues with Altissia as well. It feels like…something is brewing but we just don't know what."
"I see," Ignis commented, not sure what else to say to ease her fears. "Has your friend mentioned anything?"
"Not really? After all the crazy rumors and stuff that were going on about me, she stopped mentioning my mother. I would hope she would tell me if she knew something, but I still feel so left in the dark."
"If she's as close as you two seem, I'm certain she would tell you if anything were wrong."
"I hope so," she agreed quietly. "But my mother…she can be calculating. She strikes like a snake coming out of the tall grass. If she were hiding something…I'm not sure anyone would know about it."
"But you think you do know something?" he asked, not meaning to offend her in any way by asking.
"My mother likes attention. If she's quiet…it can't mean anything good."
The rest of the trip home was silent with a bit of tension in the air. Ignis wasn't sure what to make of what Y/N had told him. He would have to talk with Gladio and Noctis in the morning to see if they knew anything.
Neither of them brought up the confrontation they both had with Gladio concerning Y/N's neck. Y/N was too embarrassed, although she wanted to scold Ignis for not being careful and blemishing her skin. And Ignis knew it would probably embarrass her to bring it up. He only hoped it wouldn't interfere with his plans tonight.
Upon returning to the apartment, Ignis got started on dinner and Y/N sat on the couch to watch some TV. Ignis was a bit surprised how much she seemed to like watching it. He figured she was more of a reader or would do more art. Didn't she mention she liked to draw? She hadn't done much of that since moving in with him from what he could tell. Maybe she needed better lighting or her own art room. Perhaps a move would be best. He was trying to put it off as long as he could.
The aroma of the food cooking filled the room and Y/N commented on it a couple times. Ignis smiled as he cooked, only hoping the food tasted as good as it smelled. He loved pleasing Y/N and especially loved that she seemed to enjoy his cooking. Tonight he was making one of his favorite dishes- breaded cutler with tomato.
With the dinner table set and the food plated, Ignis called Y/N and got out the wine bottle he picked up on the way home. It wasn't a very strong wine. He wasn't trying to get his wife drunk. He only wanted her to relax. To rid her mind of the day's anxieties and stresses.
"Oh, we have more wine?" she asked, coming to sit in her chair at the table.
"I picked some up on the way home. You seemed to enjoy it the past week with dinner, so I thought I would pick us up some more."
Y/N just smiled at him as he poured her a glass. She wasn't sure he knew why she liked wine with dinner last week, but she wasn't going to outright tell him it was because she wanted to fool around and needed some courage to do so. Perhaps tonight it would give her some courage as well.
Y/N stood at the window brushing her hair. Ignis was in the shower. She could feel the butterflies creeping up in her stomach. Thoughts of the last couple times she stood here waiting for him to exit the bathroom flashed in her mind. She couldn't deny that she enjoyed what they did together. Ignis was handsome and smart and more attractive the more she got to know him better. He was also kind and never pushed her for anything. He simply took what she handed him and was happy with it. It's what made her want to give him more. To possibly push herself to give him more than what she had before, knowing he wouldn't judge her or make her feel bad about any of it.
The water to the shower shut off and it was only a few short minutes before Ignis exited the bathroom. Y/N continued running the brush through her hair, even though the tangles were long brushed out by now. She could feel Ignis slowly making his way up behind her. He got close enough, Y/N could feel the heat coming off his body against her back.
"Your hair is so long," he commented. Y/N's breath hitched a bit and she stopped the motions of brushing when his fingers grabbed a lock of her wet hair.
"My curls make it look shorter than it is," she answered. Ignis hummed in response and Y/N finally got the courage to turn her head, bringing them face to face.
He was just a breath away from her. His eyes locked on hers, but kept flickering to her lips. After another moment's hesitation, Ignis finally got the courage he needed and closed the distance between them, pushing his lips gently against hers. Y/N inhaled sharply in surprise, but didn't pull away. Her eyes gently closed and she pushed her lips back against his. The two stood, lips locked together, for a few silent moments. Every so often, Ignis would pull back and relock them together in slow and gentle kisses. When he finally felt the tension start to leave Y/N's body, he blindly reached for her hand holding the hair brush and released it, letting the brush fall to the floor. Grabbing her now empty hand, he brought it to the front of his sweatpants, lightly cupping her hand around his clothed member that was slowly hardening. Y/N's eyes shot open and he pulled back from their kiss to address her.
"You don't have to touch me if you don't want to. But I greatly wish to touch you tonight," he quietly spoke. His eyes looked over her face, trying to find any sense of fear or hesitance. Y/N kept her eyes low, not sure she could look Ignis in the eyes right now. When a few moments passed in silence, Ignis spoke again. "Please, Y/N. Let me make you feel good tonight. I've yet to do so and want nothing more than to make you feel the ecstasy you've made me feel."
Y/N's mouth opened and closed a few times with no sound coming out. The wine from dinner gave her a bit of a buzz but she lost a bit of her confidence at the tables being turned tonight. Normally she was in control. She was the one who was doing the touching. The talking. Tonight, Ignis wanted to be in control. She wasn't sure how easy it would be to give that up.
Closing her eyes, she swallowed deeply then opened them back again to look at her husband. She trusted him, right? This was the man she swore her life to. Who swore to protect and honor her back. She could do this. And quite honestly, the stirring in her lower belly signaled how much she kind of wanted this. She's yet to have a man truly touch her. To come undone at the hands of another. She nodded her head while staring down at his chest.
"Yes?" he asked her quietly, wanting a verbal confirmation.
"Yes," she whispered back.
Ignis leaned back in to kiss her while bringing his hand up to lightly run his fingers over the top of her breast peeking out from her nightgown. Y/N's hand on his member was still. She had touched him before and it wasn't new, but she found herself frozen in the moment; not knowing how or when Ignis was going to touch her. Ignis brushed his fingertips lightly over her skin a few times. The excitement caused her nipples to pebble and peak through her nighty. Ignis' thumb lowered and brushed over one through the fabric. Y/N's breath hitched at the contact. He then briefly put his hand over hers where it was on his lower half as he made his way to stand behind her, slightly to her right so that her arm wasn't bent too much.
"Keep your hand where it's at," he commanded in a gentle tone.
Y/N just nodded her head, keeping her hand still against him. Ignis brought his left arm around her to grab her whole breast. He cupped the whole thing in his hand, lightly squeezing while rubbing his thumb over the nipple. Up and down, around in circles. Y/N's breathing sped up before coming out in a breathy moan when his fingers squeezed her nipple between them.
"Do you like that?" Ignis whispered in her ear. "Can I touch you some more?"
His right arm came up to caress her neck and move her hair out of the way. Y/N wanted to warn him not to suck too harshly on her neck and create more bruising, but she couldn't find her voice. In the moment, she almost didn't even care if he did. As his lips lightly brushed her neck, gently sucking every few kisses, his unoccupied hand made its way slowly down her front. Her stomach jumped as he brushed over her covered mound. When his fingers got to her exposed thigh, he brushed them back and forth just under the edge of her short night gown. Y/N found her knees wanting to bend to bring his fingers under the material and back to the apex between her thighs. Her knees buckled once before she quickly straightened back up.
"You want me to touch you somewhere else?" Ignis asked. He must have picked up on her body's clues. She wasn't sure if she was embarrassed or turned on by it. "Hmmm?" he hummed, asking her again. She nodded her head. "Use your words with me, love."
It took her a moment but she finally answered him.
"Please," she whispered out, still not quite confident enough to use her full voice.
Ignis snaked his hand under her gown and brought it against her inner thigh. He slowly brought it up her leg inch by inch. Y/N swore he was torturing her on purpose. It was only a moment later she felt his fingers over her panty covered mound.
"Ah…" she breathed out.
His fingers pressed down, trying to squeeze between her thighs. He brought his hand to her right leg and applied some pressure, pulling on it a bit.
"Spread your legs a little," he whispered against her neck as he continued to kiss her there.
His fingers went back to the juncture between her legs. Y/N moaned quietly and closed her eyes. His fingers moved up and down over her panties. It wasn't enough to bring her to climax, but it still felt good. Was still more than any man had ever touched her. Her own hand slowly started rubbing Ignis through his sweatpants. She could feel him harden to stone beneath her fingers as he caressed her. His own breathy sighs mingled with hers as they touched each other. Ignis sped the two fingers he was using up a bit and applied more pressure. A dampness began soaking through her panties. If Y/N had been stroking him any harder, he would have come right then. He wanted so bad to taste her, but didn't want to push her too far too fast.
Ignis moved his fingers in fast circles, his digits applying enough pressure to push her panties between her slit. Y/N's legs began to weaken, buckling every so often. Ignis held her up in his arms, his left hand still groping her left tit and working her nipple.
"Does that feel good? Are you gonna come soon, love?" he asked her. He remembered how much she loved dirty talking while she got him off. Her words alone sometimes could get him going. He figured he would try it a bit with her. He pulled his hand away from her just long enough to pull his member free of his pants so he could feel skin on skin. She continued stroking him as he went back to stroking her. She could now grip his length properly in her whole hand and sped up her strokes. "Come on darling," he encouraged her, almost growling.
His own breathing sped up along with hers. The feeling of her hand stroking him is something he didn't think he could ever tire of. Knowing he was touching her back was euphoric.
Y/N had her eyes closed as she panted loudly. It felt like someone was tugging on a string in her lower abdomen. She kept riding the line right before orgasm but wasn't quite there. It wasn't until she felt a quick breeze of cool air on her core and then unclothed fingers against her bare pussy that the string finally broke.
Ignis quickly moved her panties to the side so there was no longer a barrier between them. His fingers easily slipped between her lower lips to rub circles around her clit. Her wetness quickly soaked his fingers making wet sounds fill the room.
"AHHH!" she moaned out.
"Oh Six, you're so slick. Are you almost there, darling?" he moaned in her ear.
Suddenly, both of Y/N's knees buckled and her weight dropped into Ignis' arms.
"FUCK!" she yelled out, writhing against him. Her breath coming out in uneven, heavy pants.
"That's it! I got you. I got you, love," he assured her as she came apart for him. He kept whispering encouragements as he held her close. As she was mid-orgasm, his own hit him full force. "Ohhhhh Sixxxxx….." he growled. The head of his cock spurt out ropes of cum against the window in front of them. His own knees threatened to buckle beneath him but he held the both of them up on shaky legs.
As Y/N's breath started to calm, Ignis pulled his fingers away from her and straightened her night gown down. In a sudden burst of embarrassment, Y/N pulled slightly away from Ignis and straightened the top of her gown that was almost exposing her breasts after Ignis' rough handling against her nipple. Ignis tucked himself away and glanced down at his slick covered fingers. A strong urge to lick them clean hit him, but he didn't wish to shock Y/N any further than she seemed to be currently. He stepped over and grabbed her hair towel off the back of the chair sitting at Y/N's vanity. After wiping his fingers clean, he moved to wipe his spend off the window. As he stood back up, Y/N attempted to speak.
"I, um…that…" she stumbled on her words. Her face was a harsh crimson color and she kept tucking her hair behind her left ear.
Ignis stepped up to her, smiling, and halted her wrist with a gentle grasp.
"There is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about, love," he assured her. "That was exquisite. Thank you." He leaned in and gently kissed her on the lips before kissing her on the forehead and taking the soiled towel into the bathroom.
Ignis and Y/N sat together at the table eating breakfast. Y/N had been quiet all morning, almost avoiding eye contact with Ignis. She normally wasn't very talkative, but she seemed avoidant this morning. After eating in silence for a while, Ignis finally addressed her.
"Is something bothering you this morning?" he asked, taking a sip of his coffee.
"No," she answered, a bit startled. She went back to picking at her bagel.
It took Ignis only a moment to guess at why she was behaving so differently.
"Did last night bother you?" She glanced up at him but didn't say anything before looking back down at the table. "You have nothing to be embarrassed about. I told you as much last night."
"It was just…" she started, but stopped. She seemed to think on how to continue but never said anything further.
"Just what, love?" he quietly asked her.
"I…I never…ya know. That was…" her hands rubbed the back of her neck roughly as she struggled to speak what was on her mind.
Ignis squinted his eyes at her.
"Was that…your first time climaxing?" he asked her.
"Not ever. But…ya know. With…someone," she confessed, reluctantly.
"I see," he said, adjusting his glasses. "It seems we both shared out first time at the hands of another with each other. I think it's…romantic."
Y/N shrugged her shoulders and kept her eyes down on the table.
"I'm not used to anyone's…attention," she confessed.
"I find myself very fond of your attention," Ignis confessed back. "I hope for you to come to like my attention to you as much as I enjoy yours."
Y/N glanced back up at him and found herself smiling.
As the couple walked into the Citadel together, Ignis was reluctant to leave her alone as he got into the elevator to go to his office.
"Are you sure you don't wish for me to escort you to the training hall? It is nothing for me to do so," he assured her.
"It's just around the corner. And the hallway is full of glaives. I'm sure it will be fine."
"I don't know why your escort didn't meet us at the garage entrance."
"The text said they got called away for an emergency. I'm sure I'll have someone when my training is done."
"They should have sent a replacement. I can text Gladio to meet you out here instead," he said, grabbing for his phone in his pocket.
"Tell him I'll meet him halfway."
"I'd feel better waiting with you until he got here," he mumbled at his phone went off in his hands. "I'm being called to a meeting myself." Ignis sighed loudly and looked up at her. "Are you sure you'll be fine?"
"There are people everywhere," she told him. "And like I said, that whole wing is full of glaives. If there's anywhere I feel safe, it's there."
Ignis grabbed her hand and squeezed it. He would have preferred to kiss her, even just her forehead, but knew she wasn't fond of PDA between the two of them. He didn't even kiss her so freely at home.
"I will see you later. Phone me if you need anything," he told her as he stepped into the elevator.
Y/N decided she would just walk to the training hall and meet Gladio on her way.
Ignis sat typing at his computer as usual. His morning had felt wasted so far. He went to the meeting room he was texted only to find it empty. When he asked around about the meeting, he was met with blank stares. Perhaps he was texted the wrong date or time or even just entirely by accident. The text was rather vague and informal. But it was a complete waste of his time none the less.
Then his computer didn't seem to want to boot up. He was almost certain a file was missing off of his desk. As to which one, he for the life of him couldn't recall what all he had left out the day before. Then there was the bizarre phone calls to his office phone. Twice his phone rang with no one on the other end to answer him when he picked up.
Everything this morning had him flustered; he wasn't looking forward to when Gladio would enter his office after his training with Y/N. He was bound to see on Ignis' face that something happened last night and would badger him about it endlessly as he usually did. However, with as frustrated as Ignis was so far this morning, perhaps any tell of a night of bliss would be hidden behind his furrowed brows.
It was at that moment Gladio opened his door and slowly took a single step inside. Ignis glanced at the clock, wondering if he had lost track of time.
"You're a lot earlier than I anticipated," he commented, going back to his typing. "Did you and Y/N call it early?" he asked. When he got no answer, he looked back up at his friend.
Gladio still stood in place with an unreadable, but troubled look on his face.
"Did something happen?" he asked. "Y/N seemed in a good mood today. I would figure she wouldn't have given you any trouble." Gladio still hadn't spoken to him and Ignis finally stopped what he was doing to truly assess the situation. "What is it?" he asked.
"You should come with me," Gladio sighed.
"I'm very busy this morning, Gladio. Perhaps you-"
"Iggy…" Gladio said a bit sternly. Ignis glanced back up at his friend. Gladio was standing very stiffly. His mouth was in a straight line and his eyes looked…worried. "You really need to come with me."
"Has something happened to Prince Noctis?" Ignis asked, his stomach starting to tie up in knots at his friend's odd behavior.
"Not Noct…" Gladio sighed.
"Then who…" he whispered out that last word as it hit him who Gladio may be referring to. "Is she okay?" he asked, the words almost catching in his throat as he slowly stood from his seat.
"Iggy-"
"Is she okay?" he demanded, louder this time.
"She…will be," Gladio said gently.
Somehow, Ignis knew immediately that whatever happened wasn't an accident during training.
"Where were you?" he asked, almost accusingly.
"It happened before I got there."
Ignis' eyes widened.
"Where is she?" Ignis asked, reaching forward to shut off his monitor.
"She's in medical."
The blood drained from Ignis' face as his head snapped up to look at his friend. He expected Cor or Monica's office. Not the medical wing.
"He attacked her? In front of everyone?" Ignis asked.
"Not him…" Gladio trailed off. Ignis stared at the man in his doorway with his mouth slightly open. A new fear running like ice through his veins.
"Who?" he whispered.
A/N: I know it's been FOREVER and I'm so sorry. Things have been chaotic. I've had half of this chapter written for weeks and I finally was able to finish it. New developments! Just when we thought the purple haired man was gone... haha but he will be back. Next chapter will be a little more action packed. And our two lovebirds had another fun moment together. I can't wait for them to be more comfortable around each other lol It's as painful for me as it is for you guys i promise. Thanks for all the reads, comments, etc while I've been away. I swear I see each one and my heart warms every time.
