A/N Rowena's a new OC of mine who's a little diesel. Because of how young she is, she may seem very young, kind of babyish in some ways. She's a water cooled engine, so she can cry tears.
I'm Rowena, the newest diesel on Skarloey Railway. Because I'm a very young engine, I'm like a child, so I do stuff children do as I'm able. I cry a lot, because I'm so deeply feeling, but I'm also sensitive and understanding, because of being overwhelmed by my powerful emotions. I'm quiet, friendly and a good listener, ready to give practical comfort and be present with those who are unhappy and lift their spirits and rather cheeky at times. I like to sing. I live in the moment
I came here from the factory. They built me and painted me, then I was tested. After that, I met my crew. A bigger engine bothered me just before I met them, so I said WAAAAAH!, having my first cry, and then said, "Driver, why are my eyes leaking?", he told me about crying. "Dry my tears, Driver?" I said. He pulled out a cloth from his pocket and said, "There, there, Rowena. If you need to cry, let yourself go. No judgment from me, just care and compassion. I'm here for you, not to fix your mood, just to wipe your tears" and dried my cheeks and eyes. That cloth is more or less my handkerchief, as Driver says it's just for my face and eyes. I drenched it in that cry, because I felt so frightened and unhappy from the way that engine treated me.
I like Sodor, because I've got some friends on my new railway. My old railway just built and tested me, but they were my railway for that while. My friends are Charity, Julie, Chris, Eugene and the Steamworks engine, Johnny. Charity, Julie and Eugene are deeply feeling, like me, Chris is very charming when he chooses to be and Johnny's nice with a big heart. I've cried since the factory, asking my driver to dry my tears when not weeping too hard. I use my singing to express my feelings, so I may sing a sad song. Like the most recent time I needed to cry, I did a sob and sing with Driver's comfort. Sobbing with him to wipe the tears from my eyes is the best way to feel better when I'm very sad, like I was when I had my last cry.
A/N When her driver told her about crying, he told her about drying tears.
