A/N I thought of more ways to show Rowena's exquisite tenderness and sensitivity. In TvTropes, she's the type to have Tender Tears and is Prone To Tears. She's what my FanFiction buddy calls a baby engine and acts 4, so she's at an age that cries a lot in addition to her soft heart.

Rowena was going along the line singing, when she saw a bigger engine on the standard-gauge line.

"I'm taking this train to the scrapyard," the engine said.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Rowena began to cry, thinking about how engines suffer there. "Dr-Dry m-my t-tears, Dr-Driver," she sniffled. Every word was another huge sob as big tears gushed from her eyes.

A mean diesel came on the standard-gauge rails and said, "Cry-engine! The steamies in the scrapyard deserve to suffer and be cut there.", scorning Rowena's tenderness. "As a diesel, you ought to know."

Rowena's driver comforted her. "There, there, Rowena," he said, taking a cloth from his pocket and drying her tears. He gently rubbed her cheeks and softly wiped her wet with tears eyes. "Let the tears out. I can handle it."

"I-I h-hurt i-in m-my h-heart," she said, crying more. She sniffled again, hard, coughed as she choked on her tears and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking with sobs, as tears came from her eyes, not once stopping and let her driver comfort her.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "You can rely on me to dry your eyes and comfort you. I know you've got a soft heart, so just cry. You're very upset, so I shall wipe your eyes until you feel better." He pressed the cloth to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Rowena finished her cry, emotions spent. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping her cheeks and eyes until they were dry, then went back to the cab with the sodden cloth. She felt better as her driver refilled her radiator.

Rowena said, "Because I've got such a soft heart, I don't understand how any engine could be so hateful and mean. Engines are suffering in that yard."

Her driver said, "I know you've shed a great many tears, but I don't see your emotions as weakness."

Rowena went on with her day, singing again. She found her friend, Charity, wailing on a siding, comforted by her driver and gave her friend a buffer press, to show she cared.

Charity has dreadful anxiety, Rowena thought, as she'd been told about her friend's condition. I know what it's like to have emotions overwhelm me.

"I love crying," she said, "because it relieves my hurting heart.", when her day was over.

A/N Just another display of Rowena's tender, sensitive heart. Because of how easily and often she cries, I don't think she'll ever have a chapter in which she doesn't have tears.
