A/N I'm fulfilling the Rowena request with this one, except, because she's narrow-gauge I had to have one of her standard-gauge friends push James. To the one who made the Autumn request, I promise to post it Tuesday site time.

Rowena was going down the line, singing until she got where her line and the standard-gauge line met. James was there and was mean to her.

"Rowena the killer engine! You dirty diesel! Go back to the Mainland and leave this island to proper engines!", James said. "Most diesels are no good!"

Rowena wanted to flee, but then, since she was unable to do so, waited for the feeling to pass. Then, after that feeling passed, she began to cry. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! She sobbed and sniffled, her face covered in tears. "Dr-Dry m-my t-tears, Dr-Driver," she said. "I-I h-hurt i-in m-my h-heart, dreadfully."

"Cry-engine!", said James, who was still there.

Rowena's driver emerged from the cab to comfort her. "There, there, Rowena," he said, taking a cloth from his pocket and softly drying her tears. "He's just got a big diesel prejudice. I wish I could wipe your sadness, so I shall wipe your eyes. I sense how much you hurt, so go ahead and let it all out.". He gently rubbed her cheeks and pressed the cloth to her eyes to wipe her tears.

Rowena said, in her sob-filled voice, "J-James, y-you're a-a dr-dreadful e-engine! I-If I-I w-was st-standard g-gauge, I-I c-could d-do s-so m-much m-more." She said to her driver, "H-He c-calls m-me h-horrible st-stuff a-and i-it h-hurts v-very d-deeply.". She sniffled again, hard, coughed, choking on her tears and hiccupped. She gasped and gulped, shaking with heartfelt sobs as huge tears poured from her eyes, not once stopping as her driver comforted her.

He said, as he continued to wipe her tears away, "You can rely on me to dry your eyes and provide support and comfort as long as you need it. I care very much about how you feel.". He held the cloth to her eyes and wiped all her tears away as best he could.

Thomas came by and pushed James on the rails to the point it made him scratch his paint. The tank engine heard what Rowena said to James and her driver's comfort.

Rowena sobbed and sobbed, unable to stop until she had no more tears to cry. Her driver dried her last tears away, wiping her cheeks and eyes until they were dry. He went back to the cab with the sodden cloth, then refilled her radiator. Rowena smiled, feeling better and when singing down the line once more.

A week later, James came by and apologized to Rowena and Rowena said she was sorry what she said caused him to get hurt.

A/N I have readers who like Hurt/Comfort, so Rowena won't be hurt by James anymore, but mean diesels and other things will still leave her crying her eyes out. She's a Tender Tears type, from TVTropes, with exquisite tenderness and sensitivity, so she cries easily and often.
