As the weeks went by with still no return for Brooklyn, Goliath himself was angry but also worried that his second in command was still missing, but he still didn't know that Brooklyn had been taken by Coldsteel.

Hudson knew that sooner or later he had to tell the clan, and even Broadway along with Lexington, had gone to Nightstone Unlimited to find Brooklyn.

Demona wasn't there at the moment, but Lex went right away to her computer, typing in to where Brooklyn could possibly be. He searched for 20 minutes, but nothing.

They eventually returned ten minutes before sunrise. "Did you two find anything?" Goliath asked, his eyes glowing.

Lex flinched but shook his head. Angela's eyes were looking quite sad, praying that Brooklyn was still alive but happy that her mom hadn't been responsible for the kidnapping.

Hudson's tail swished, eyes drifting around while Lexington spoke. "No, Demona wasn't there either. We do have the Quarrymen as an option to check."

Not wanting them to be in anymore danger, Hudson knew he had to tell. "He went after Coldsteel!" Hudson revealed, startling the clan greatly.

"WHAT?!" Roared Goliath in heated anger, recalling that evil brother to Coldstone.

Hudson looked ashamed; ears lowered. "I-I couldn't tell you all because the lad felt rather upset around you and the others. He decided to hunt down Coldsteel for himself, and to… get revenge."

Broadway remained in silent shock, wondering what would trigger Brooklyn into doing this irrational choice. "We can find him, Hudson. Do you know what happened when he found Coldsteel?" Hudson shook his head.

"We will find him, Hudson. And I advise to not keep secrets like this from the rest of us." Goliath then said.

Hudson's eyes drifted down again, feeling upset from keeping this from his old student but at least they know now, and prayed they would find the young lad on time before Coldsteel did something terrible.

Brooklyn awaited in his small cell, holding his knees, scared of what awaited him next and tears in his eyes that his clan still didn't know he was gone. His ears perked up when hearing those dreaded taloned metal feet approach, backing into his bed.

"How goes your little confinement, my dear body? I'm sure you're ready for more food and tests?" purred Coldsteel in a sick voice, bringing in the usual food that Brooklyn still didn't want to eat anymore of.

He just growled softly, looking away. Coldsteel placed the tray on the floor, his eyes glowing red. "Your test is coming soon, and I suggest you eat while you can. And eat it all."

Brooklyn glowered back, but knew arguing would only get him hurt, nodding while going to grab a burger on the plate, eating it reluctantly.

"What is my next test?" Brooklyn found himself asking after swallowing the last of the burger and finishing his sugary drink.

Coldsteel just laughed, shaking his head. "No spoilers. It makes it all the more fun," he taunted, ruffling Brooklyn's hair like he was a hatchling; Brooklyn, hitting his hand away in irritation. "Now take him!" Coldsteel then demanded to the guards.

The guards smiled wickedly, holding their cattle prods. This time, Brooklyn wouldn't go anywhere now that he knew Coldsteel wouldn't tell him about what was in his tests, wings open, growling. "Come on, Demon! Nowhere to run!" snapped a human, smacking Brooklyn hard in the face with the cattle prod.

Brooklyn gasped out in pain from the surges zapping his skin again, falling down to the floor, allowing the humans time to pick him up by the arms, Brooklyn still wheezing quite a bit, was forced to go along with these horrible humans to whatever nightmare awaited next to get him possessed again.

They reached the usual looking empty lab rooms that Brooklyn hated, tossing him inside, making Brooklyn grunt from the feeling of it, rubbing his head.

"Whatever you got for me next, I know I can beat the living daylights out of," Brooklyn challenged, still feeling rather weak from not being able to go outside or eat healthy, his legs wobbling like jelly. He could hear Coldsteel's laugh from the speakers.

"Oh, so brave. But are you sure you're ready to fight what I got in here?" taunted Coldsteel ruthlessly, pressing a button from his end. Brooklyn readied himself, hearing something nearby on the floor open up, and a strange hissing noise.

Brooklyn's breath hitched from the sound that wasn't metallic, and it revealed to be a huge snake, a python that reminded him of what Broadway fought while they were held by the Illuminati. He jerked back when the snake reared its head at him, hissing viciously.

"A snake? You're kidding, right?" roared up Brooklyn, dodging the snake's coming attack, trying to bite at him. Brooklyn dodged the snake, but the pest wound up wrapping its tail around his belly, making Brook gasp out in pain from the constricting feeling.

"I never joke, little one. But there is more than just one…" purred Coldsteel.

Brooklyn winced while trying to keep himself from being choked to death, heard more hissing noises, his pupils dilating at the sight of two more pythons there in the room. This was trouble.

"Jalapena!" moaned Brooklyn in fear after biting the snake's coils, making the beast let go before suddenly another snake suddenly bit his ankle, causing Brook to cry out, falling to the floor, seeing the python rearing up above him. Brooklyn wished he had Broadway here to help him fight these snakes off, which is how he felt he could describe Coldsteel; a heartless snake of a gargoyle that needed to be destroyed.

"Let me out of here!" He roared, punching the snake trying to coil around him, ducking as the second snake hissed but managing to grab around his neck. This nearly choked Brooklyn to death, the snake hissing gleefully, tightening its grip.

Brooklyn wheezed and gasped, weakly struggling to grab at the snake to make it release him, hearing Coldsteel's devilish cackle. "So entertaining for me to see a pathetic scrawny thing like you to lose to some simple snakes. How stupid…" he mocked ruthlessly. The third snake wound up wrapping Brooklyn's feet together now, Brooklyn was unable to move too well, shaking, losing air, laying there on the floor and rasping for breath.

The snakes were too much for Brooklyn to handle. But how could he prove himself a worthy fighter if these animals could easily take him down? A small wave of adrenaline surged through Brooklyn's veins, causing him to roar out, scratching the one holding his neck.

It made the snake hiss out, letting Brook go, who rubbed his throat first before eventually yanking off the one wrapping around his legs, tossing them both away from him. But there was still one more snake to deal with.

He decided to try climbing up the walls to get away from the predator, but the walls were too thick and tough for his talons to poke through. Brooklyn growled in panic, trying his best to before the snake then bit down hard on Brook's tail near his rear end.

"AAAAGGHH!" He shrieked aloud, eyes as bright as they could go, turning around, roaring, grabbing the last snake with his jaws, biting the snake, until he heard the snapping sound coming, killing the snake.

From the control room, seeing Brooklyn do away with the serpent somewhat startled Coldsteel, but he grinned menacingly. Now thiswas someone he needed. Someone that can be triggered enough like this to kill his enemies. He chuckled, pressing a button to speak into his mic.

"Hmm, most impressive. But I suppose now your tail should be tended to, yes?" He asked in a honey coated tone, Brooklyn kneeling down, rubbing the back of his tail which was bleeding and in pain, glad the snakes didn't seem poisonous, since he wasn't feeling any other kind of pain.

"Just… h-hurts…" Brooklyn slurred, dizzy from the fighting and the pain in his tail, vision growing fuzzy when seeing the men coming to get him.

Brooklyn moaned while the humans pulled him onto a gurney to fix his tail in the medical room. He was glad to be away from those horrible snakes, hoping not to face them again for a long time, but felt scared when Coldsteel came along, grinning sadistically, touching Brooklyn's hurt tail and caused the red male to jerk up from the painful feeling.

"Aw, so painful. Don't worry, we'll fix it, so I can have a working tail again, little hatchling." said Coldsteel in a soft tone that sent shivers up Brooklyn's spine, making him whimper silently when Coldsteel traced his sharp talons along the back part.

Eventually, the medic human showed with some sleeping serum, injecting it into Brooklyn who gasped, mumbling under his breath drowsily as he went into the dream world, allowing the doctor to surgically clean the snake bite that looked pretty bad.

Once his tail was all bandaged up, Coldsteel gently carried his victim back to his room to rest for now and eventually eat more junk food. Right now, Brooklyn had reached 220 pounds, way past his normal weight height. When laying the sleeping gargoyle on the bed, Coldsteel smirked, poking his bloated looking belly.

"So close, sweet one. Soon, it will all be over, and your mind, will be all mine…" he said softly, brushing more hair out of Brooklyn's face, who whimpered softly, shifting around a little, showing signs of waking up. Coldsteel would leave a tray of food there after he left so Brooklyn could eat while healing.

When he woke up an hour before sunrise, Brooklyn rubbed his head, groaning from what the snakes did to him. He turned around, seeing his tail bandaged, flinching from the pain in his tail.

Brooklyn also eyed the food, frowning at how much of it there was along with even more Coke, knowing he would get in trouble if he didn't eat it.

Swallowing, Brooklyn reluctantly pulled the tray onto his bed, slowly eating his food, flinching when feeling the junk food hit his belly painfully, wishing for this nightmare to end, doing his best to think about his family but it was hard when they yelled at him for what Coldsteel controlled him to do…
