Let it Reign

Kayla landed at the Lake House on Karry Universe; she wasn't surprised to see that Cisco was already there waiting for her, chilling by the pool on one of the many deck chairs. She sighed as she turned off the hologram that made her hair blonde and un-summoned her Supergirl outfit.

"Are you even allowed here Junior?" Kayla spoke, making Cisco jump out of the chair. "I'm guessing not, by that reaction," she chuckled.

"Hey, the Lake House is for anyone to enjoy," Cisco defended, quickly, "besides, Karry have several different properties across the planet these days; it's not like they keep track on who's staying where."

"True," Kayla stated, perching on the adjacent deck chair as Cisco sat back down. "They even offered it to Random Barry once."

"Well, he's now settled firmly with his Caitlin," Cisco pointed out. "She does get around on different worlds - Ronnie here, Ray on Prime, Mon on my world, yourself on Beautiful and now former WestAllen Caitlin with her Barry." Kayla laughed at this now.

"Well there is a SnowAllen Earth out there, so not completely unusual," Kayla mused, before adding. "So, why are you here?" She folded her arms now.

"Firstly, did you get my texts?" Cisco asked, knowing talk of Random Barry and his Caitlin was over.

"No, I don't take my phone when out in the field," Kayla stated dryly. "Is that why you're here? Missed texts?"

"Oh no. Old Justice," Cisco confirmed.

"We did that world the other day. Don't tell me someone else got their hands on Batman's contingency plans?" Kayla sighed, albeit wondering what that Bruce Wayne had done since his plans were outed and everyone had turned on him.

"Oh no, it's the world itself. Reminded me of another world I couldn't place my finger on," Cisco explained. "I only remembered earlier which world." Kayla raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything as she let him continue, "Kingdom Come!" Cisco stated, as if this were obviously.

"I'm sorry, I don't…?" Kayla started.

"Two Leagues fighting, and independent heroes – Kingdom Come is similar, instead of the Justice League and Justice Society, they have the Golden League and the Justice League – although Old Justice's Justice League isn't so… kill-y. Meanwhile, Rae and her friends have left society altogether and gone to live on that colony world," Cisco explained.

"I know about Rae, Kara and Barry on Elysium," Kayla nodded simply as she realized Cisco was right; she hadn't seen the similarities in worlds until Cisco pointed it out just now.

"Well, it made me think we should go back there," Cisco implored.

"Sure," Kayla shrugged. "I mean, I wouldn't mind meeting this Zia girl – my new little sister brought in due to Crisis."

"Yeah, Kingdom Come's Clark seemed excited to have her on his side," Cisco chuckled as they both stood. Cisco paused, however. "Do you need to contact Karry to let them know you're going…?"

"Probably not this time," Kayla stated. "Aside from the League here being insanely organized they can handle the world without Supergirl, there's also the whole thing of my just getting back from an Atlantis attack."

"Atlantis attack?" Cisco frowned at this one.

"Long story. Simply put, it should be quiet for the next few hours so I'm good to head to Kingdom Come. To be fair, I do like that Clark, anyway," she smiled at the thought of the Clark who looked like Ray Palmer as Cisco shrugged to himself and opened a portal for the pair.

-Hitchhikers Guide-

Inside Kingdom Come's Fortress of Solitude, Clark, Diana, and the younger blonde Kryptonian girl called Zia were looking over the computers intently, trying to solve a problem.

"Maybe we're looking at this all wrong," Zia spoke up as Clark looked to his cousin, curious. "Contact with Little Krypton has been gone since Reign turned up, right?"

"Right," Clark stated, Diana not looking away from her own research.

"We keep thinking it's Reign herself who somehow messed up the system – she's not exactly the same type of Kryptonian as the rest of us, after all – but what if it's a coincidence? I mean, Little Krypton must have to be looking at trying to contact us too, and we know portals and meta's can't even get there," Zia continued.

"Well, we know Little Krypton is still there…" Diana nodded, Clark now looking to her, no one worried that the colony had actually been destroyed, "so we should–" but Diana stopped as a portal opened, surprising them.

"Or maybe they figured it out before we did," Zia chuckled, thinking this portal was from Little Krypton, but frowned as Kayla and Cisco stepped out of the portal instead; it closed behind them.

"Kara?" Zia frowned as Kayla sighed at the name.

"Kayla," Kayla supplied simply, looking at Zia. "Wow, you look so much like mom," she added as Zia smiled at the comment.

"Multiverse," Clark stated, simply.

"Oh yeah, you told me about them," Zia looked to Clark now. "Are you here to help?"

"Oooh, help with what?" Cisco asked, moving forward excitedly now.

"Reign and Little Krypton," Diana stated, having tuned back to the computer now that introductions had sort of been done.

"Okay, Reign I know a bit about, but Little Krypton…?" Cisco asked.

"The Kryptonian colony world," Clark stated. "It's called Little Krypton."

"Well, that's… new," Cisco raised an eyebrow as Kayla chuckled at the name. "Don't you have a Daxam colony too? Please tell me that's not…?"

"Oh no, they voted on Daxam 2.0 for the name," Clark stated.

"So Little Krypton was voted on by the Kryptonian people?" Kayla asked, curiously.

"Yes, as was Daxam 2.0, by the Daxamites. Now, if you don't mind, we're trying to figure out how to get back into contact with Little Krypton," Diana stated blatantly.

"But aren't Daxam 2.0 and Elysium right near Little Krypton?" Kayla asked remembering that from the last time they were here.

"Same solar system," Diana confirmed, knowing what Kayla meant . "But both have also lost contact with Little Krypton and also can't teleport there. Daxam 2.0 said they could send a ship there tomorrow at the earliest."

"Ooh, let me! I can try to get contact back up," Cisco stated, moving over to Clark's now-abandoned computer, the man happily stepping aside.

"What about Reign?" Kayla had to ask, aware that Zia couldn't keep her eyes off her alternative sister.

"That's a whole other ball park," Clark sighed from the chair.

"No, I mean, who is Reign?" Kayla asked. To answer her question, a holographic image of a woman with a black outfit and cape, black mask and dark hair tied back like Kayla's appeared in the room. She was attacking Superman and who Kayla guessed was Zia's superhero alter ego with laser vision. The image was frozen on the baddie.

"That's Reign," Clark said as Cisco moaned. Clark and Kayla turned to the nerd now.

"You know who she likely is, right?" Cisco asked from their stares.

"Urm, no," Clark and Zia said together, Kayla pausing too – she'd never faced anyone called Reign before, but it seemed like Cisco knew better. It looked like she was a Kryptonian too, judging by the laser vison in use.

"Oh wow," Cisco paused as he pulled his eyes away from the computer. The holographic image disappeared at this. "She's… well, she's Kara's sister. Well, Kayla and Zia's sister too, I suppose," he explained, to raised eyebrows from the room. He sighed again. "Okay, I don't know that much but from what I can gather from other worlds, she was created in an experiment done by your father, Zor-El, using his and Alura's DNA to create what they called a 'Worldkiller'."

"That's not ominous at all," Zia said, a little worriedly.

"Well, on most worlds the program that created Reign was shut down and, to keep her safe, Zor sent the girl to Earth, basically the same story as Kal's, Kara's and Kayla's," Cisco explained, to a cough from Zia, "and Zia's too, yes. But on the rare occasion she was intercepted by these Kryptonian Witches…"

"Urgh," Clark sighed, "the Daughters of Night."

"You know of them?" Cisco asked.

"Yeah, they survived Krypton's explosion. Some of them are currently on Little Krypton," Clark explained.

"Yeah, well these witches used the Worldkiller programme for their own gain, at least they did on SuperFlash Earth as they used Reign's programming to make two other Worldkillers," Cisco explained.

"Hang on," Diana stated, causing eyes to turn to her now. "If these Daughters of Night are behind the Reign attacks, could they possibly be behind Little Krypton going dark?"

"Very possible," Cisco stated.

"Okay, so how do we stop Reign?" Zia asked.

"Your best bet it to get her to Zor-El," Cisco confirmed, before pausing. "This world does have Zor-El still, right?" He didn't know if Kara and Zia's father had survived beyond Krypton's destruction here. Sadly, it was rare for Zor to live after all.

"Dad is on Little Krypton, yeah," Zia stated simply, not understanding Cisco's pause.

"Good," Cisco grinned at this.

"Seems like that's why they're blocking you from contacting Little Krypton, though," Kayla pointed out. "Dad could fix this. What exactly is Reign trying to do?"

"We don't know. She's been attacking the Golden League at every opportunity." Clark said. "The other League have been decimated by her. I mean, since Oliver's death during Crisis they've been like a headless chicken running about the farmyard. Laurel tried to lead them but…"

"She's not…?" Kayla now asked, concerned that this Laurel was dead too. She liked Laurel Lance – any Laurel Lance. To be fair, she liked Oliver Queens too, but had to accept this Oliver was dead.

"Oh no, Reign disabled her; she no longer can use her Canary Cry and suffered a shattered leg thanks to Reign last week. She's out of the game and Sara's been absent from that League since, as well," Clark explained.

"The Justice League is going underground to reorganized and regroup. I'm sure they'll be back eventually," Diana added, unsure if this was a good thing or not.

"Sounds like she's trying to take out Earth's heroes," Cisco voiced, making eyes turn to him. "Speaking of, where are the rest of the Golden League?" He knew there were more to this League than these three heroes.

"Our three Green Lanterns were called away some months ago, we haven't heard from them much since," Clark spoke.

"The rest are patrolling," Diana added. "We've been luckier than the other League, but only just. The Justice League may have lacked morals, but they were good at taking down bad guys. Without them, it's just us and there's only eight of us, after all – three of which haven't been around in a while. It's gotten bad enough we have considered asking Elysium for help. Some of the meta human there are powerful, willing, and know how to fight."

"Really?" Cisco asked. He didn't think those meta humans were ready to come back to Earth or defend this planet any time soon.

"Seems like you need to take down Reign before she tips the balance of heroes on this world," Kayla stated, thoughtfully.

"Obviously," Diana nodded, turning back to the computer.

"But we can't do it without being asked," Kayla pointed out now, thoughtfully.

"Seriously?" Zia asked, thinking they were joking.

"Long story, but we don't get involved until requested," Cisco spoke up from the computer. Zia and Diana looked to Clark at this now, who raised an eyebrow at the situation. "It's a multiverse code of honor: Your world, your call."

"Well then, can you help us with Reign?" Clark asked, getting this Code of Honor more than his little cousin. He was a Paragon, after all, and had more contact and understanding with the multiverse than Zia.

"It would be my pleasure," Kayla smirked as Cisco rolled his eyes at her.

"And maybe get us back into contact with Little Krypton?" Diana added to Cisco.

"Well, that's obvious," Cisco chuckled. He had already jumped in to help there without asking. Diana sniggered at this response.

"Okay, so have you tried getting Reign back here?" Kayla now asked, looking between Clark and Zia. "She's Kryptonian, and your Fortress de-powers Kryptonians." She'd felt her powers leave her the moment she had stepped through the portal but knew that this would happen – she'd been to Kingdom Come before, after all. This Fortress was different than others; designed to replicate Krypton in environment as well as structure, meaning Kryptonian powers were mooted within.

"No, we haven't had the chance," Zia stated. "We know what you're thinking though, but Reign's powers are a little… different."

"Fuelled by anger rather than the yellow sun," Cisco pointed out. "Same as on Beautiful."

"So? She still has Kryptonian powers, right?" Kayla said. "Whether it's fuelled by the yellow sun or her emotions, this place should be able to counter it and render her powerless…"

"Good point," Diana spoke up.

"Unless she was designed for her powers to work on Krypton," Cisco pointed out quietly.

"That's a chance we'll have to take. We should still get Reign here," Kayla implored. "If we can't get communication with Little Krypton back, we can get Reign here and that will stop her until you can get back in contact with the colony and get Zor here to help her."

"But it's been hard enough with so little numbers in the Golden League…" Clark started.

"Ah but you didn't have me – or this," Kayla pointed out, pulling from her person a small circular device.

"The portal maker my Prime counterpart made for Krypto and Powie?" Cisco now asked, moving over to look at it. The dogs on Karry and Prime, respectively, used these all the time to get between worlds to meet one another.

"And Hex and Casper," Kayla added of the two bonded cats too. "He made one for me a few years ago so I could hop without the need of you," Kayla added, smirking to Cisco.

"Ouch," Cisco pouted, adding under his breath, "he should have told me…"

"It updates regularly to new worlds, but you could reprogram it, temporarily, to portal directly here," Kayla said to Cisco, ignoring Vibe Junior's complaints.

"I could," Cisco nodded.

"Then all we need to do is open the portal and lead Reign to it, to send her here and instantly depower her," Kayla pointed out.

"I'm liking this plan," Zia stated, looking to Clark.

"Meanwhile, I'll help get in contact with Little Krypton to get Zor-El here to help with Reign," Cisco stated as Kayla tossed him the portal making device to him to tinker with.

"And he can bring one of the Daughters of Night with him to explain this," Diana spoke up, her hand going for her Lasso of Truth; everyone knew she wasn't going to give any Daughter of Night a choice but to explain what was going on.

"Well, it sounds like a solid plan," Kayla smiled at her cousin and little sister now.

"Question, how do we even get Reign to this portal?" Clark asked. "She doesn't exactly do as told."

"Well, Martian Manhunter and ATOM are currently in a fight with her now," Diana spoke up, having the feed on her computer, the surprised group turning to look at the ensuing battle on the screen as Reign seemed to easily get the better of her two adversaries. "Lady Flash would help, but this is an air fight," Diana added, "and with the Lanterns off-world…"

"We get it," Kayla sighed. "Okay, if we can meet with them, you lot can lure her over to me and I send her to the Fortress," Kayla pointed to Clark, Diana, and Zia now, her mind thinking quickly.

"They're near Metropolis," Diana added, standing now before she turned to Cisco. "Can we trust you?"

"Huh? Trust me?" Cisco raised an eyebrow. "You mean to get in contact with Little Krypton?"

"Yes," Diana stated.

"You should. He's the best mind there is. Well, he and alternate hims," Kayla pointed out, Diana looking to Kayla at this, seeming to take her word for it.

"Okay then, to Metropolis," Diana smiled now as Kayla raised an eyebrow to Cisco before he tossed the portal maker back to Kayla, the modifications already made.

Without another word, Kayla opened the portal and the heroes moved through.

-Hitchhiker Guide-

Kayla, Clark, Zia, and Diana exited the portal over Metropolis, Kayla glad of the change of scenery – it was usually Central or National City, sometimes a combo of both, or occasionally Starling that they usually ended up at, but seeing the skyscrapers around, the ocean beyond and even the Statue of Liberty in the distance was a fun alternative. At least Metropolis never changed – apart from on Hero Earth, but that was a whole other story.

Having got into her usual costume the moment they exited the portal, Kayla was intrigued to see Zia had somehow changed into her outfit, too, seeing it was a blend of blues and red, while she wore her blonde hair down and loose.

"What's your superhero name, then?" Kayla asked her alternative little sister. "Did you take the Supergirl mantle after Kara left for Elysium?"

"Oh, Rao no, I didn't dare become Supergirl," Zia stated, shaking her head vigorously. "That will always be Kara. No, they named me Dynagrl."

"That one's new," Kayla frowned. "Dyna, as in dynamic?"

"I assume so. I don't care, I like it," Zia smirked.

"How is Kara anyway?" Kayla asked, curious.

"Expecting a child with Barry on Elysium," Zia supplied, surprising Kayla.

"Oh wow! And Rae…? The last–" Kayla didn't finish her sentence as Diana interrupted her.

"Girl chat aside, we're here for Reign," Diana pointed out and, as if on cue, in the distance they could see fighting coming from inland: Reign's laser vision battling against ATOM's electronical blasts while hints of red indicated that Martian Manhunter was still putting up the fight, too.

"Hey, Supers and Wonder Woman," a voice came across the coms – Cisco must have integrated Kayla own into the Golden League's coms. "I can't help down here!"

"Lady Flash," Diana was the one to respond; Kayla realizing this was the voice of Jesse Wells, who went by Lady Flash on this Earth, "head to the Fortress. We'll explain soon. There's a Vibe in there, he's friendly enough."

"Okay, good luck," Jesse stated, and they saw a speed trail of gold suddenly head northward from below.

"Okay, remember the plan," Kayla stated now. "You three get her here, I'll send her to the Fortress. Hopefully she'll be depowered there…"

"And if not?" Zia asked.

"Then we have a Vibe and Flash in the Fortress already, and I'll follow her in anyway." Kayla stated.

"But you're powerless in the Fortress," Clark pointed out.

"I have one or two tricks up my sleeve if needed," Kayla smirked to herself; her costume having an in-built yellow sun generator, thanks to Vibe Junior himself, meaning she had power wherever. It was only because she hadn't been in her suit when they arrived that she had been depowered. "Come on. We can do this," Kayla smiled at her other world comrades. She was kind of getting used to giving orders, having done so on Prime when covering for Power Girl, Mutant when covering for their Kara, and now on Karry, covering for Supergirl – all leaders of their own Leagues, after all.

Diana, Clark, and Zia zoomed forward, heading toward the battle, relieving ATOM, who was weary from the fight, although Martan Manhunter was happy to continue. They didn't want to alert Reign to what was going on, in case she took flight and left, so Kayla made sure to keep back, ready to press the button on her device the moment the fight was close enough.

Freeze breath, laser vision, whatever a Martian could do, Diana's sword and the Lasso of Truth combined were an effort for Reign to fight, and she began to head toward the ocean, not seeing Kayla, who had landed on a building, trying to look as normal possible.

Kayla counted how long this battle was taking as she noted camera crews on other roofs and denizens of Metropolis looking up at the fight that was getting nearer. She suddenly wondered if Reign would use the public as her weapon, knowing the heroes would go out of their way to save someone innocent rather than fight someone guilty, and indeed, as if on cue, Reign aimed her own laser vision down, destabilising a nearby building.

Before Kayla could move off to help, she noticed Zia flying down, using her own freeze breath to make an ice wall to keep the damaged building standing, while protecting those beneath it who ran for cover – but now was Kayla's opportunity; flying up, surprising Reign as the Golden League stopped their attack, Kayla used the device to open a portal to the Fortress before Clark moved forward, pushing Reign in.

Kayla gave Clark a momentary glance before flying into the portal herself, closing it behind her in case Reign didn't depower and tried to use the portal to escape back out.

-Hitchhikers Guide-

Kayla was surprised to find Cisco had a large gun to the costumed villain, while Jesse was vibrating to build up her own electricity, but now in the Fortress, under Kryptonian conditions, the new Kryptonian woman was definitely depowered as she screamed, running toward where the portal had been – and now where Kayla stood.

About to defend herself, Kayla prepared to use heat vision, but Reign was hit by lightning from Jesse, causing her to go flying. Kayla ducked as she turned to see Reign had been knocked unconscious by the lightning – her mask even flying off at the violence of it. Kayla ran forward to check on her by using her x-ray vision, thanks to her suit's yellow sun generator giving her power, and saw that there was no internal damage from the attack. She would be fine.

"Good job," Kayla breathed as Cisco now moved to check Reign over, putting his weapon down now.

"We've got her," Jesse stated into coms. "And she's depowered. One Speed Force lightning strike and she was down."

"Nice," Clark's voice came over coms. "We're heading back to the Fortress now. Just need to make sure the city is alright."

"Keep me apprised," Jesse stated.

"Who is she…?" Kayla however countered as Jesse continued her conversation with the rest of her League, looking over the mask-less woman that was Reign.

"The same person she is on Beautiful," Cisco sighed as Kayla now looked at Vibe Junior. "Samantha Arias," he added, pointed to one of the computers to show an I.D. page of the same woman with them. "Although she's an actress on Beautiful, here she's a former CFO of Luthor Corps… maybe that explains how she got her powers," Kayla moved over to the computer with Cisco as Jesse now put handcuffs on the unconscious woman.

"Adopted… approximately thirty-five, no other family besides her adoptive mother," Kayla read off quickly. "Oh yeah. It says here that Lex Luthor fired her from Luthor Corps," Kayla confirmed. "Before that, her life seemed peachy, albeit lonely…"

"Tipped over the edge, activating her Kryptonian powers… thus Reign," Cisco theorized. "And with the Kryptonian Witches on Little Krypton, they obviously must have detected her–"

"–and blocked us from communicating with you," a new voice spoke; all three turned to see an older man with dark hair enter the room.

"Dad," Kayla grinned, recognising Zor-El. He had the same face as the man she knew from her original world.

"Kara…?" Zor-El paused at this. "You went dark. Like me," he gave her a wink. "You know, the fact that your mother and I are both dark-haired, I think the blonde gene from my mother went far."

"That's true," Kayla mused, thinking of Nyssa, her grandmother who had been blonde, "but I'm actually not Kara, I'm Kayla. Long story, multiverse," Kayla dismissed, "but it's good to see you."

"Uncle Zor-El!" Clark's voice alerted them that the rest of the Golden League had arrived, and all eyes turned to the doors to the Fortress to see the rest of the League there; ATOM even unshrunk, having obviously travelled with one of the speedier heroes to get here.

"Dad!" Zia moved forward now to hug her father, who returned the hug happily.

"You got Little Krypton back," Diana looked to Cisco at this.

"It was easy actually. I just rerouted the pathway of one of your satellites and–"

"–honestly, no one wants to know," Kayla cut off her friend, who looked sad at the interruption.

"I would," Zor spoke up at this, making Cisco grin. "It's been baffling not being able to get into contact with Earth, Daxam 2.0 or Elysium. Even our ships went down, but this explains a lot," he added, picking up Reign's abandoned mask and sighing. "I hoped this wouldn't happen," he added, looking back at the group. "What did she call herself?"

"Reign," many in the room said as if in explanation.

"One of my greatest shames," Zor stated, but his eyes locked on to that of the unconscious Samantha Arias, now leaning against the wall with her wrists handcuffed thanks to Jesse, "and yet, my greatest pride too," he stated, moving over to the woman, and putting a hand to her unconscious cheek. "She looks like Alura," he breathed, "although she got the El's black hair."

"Cisco filled us in on her history," Zia stated, moving over to her dad now. "She's our sister?"

"Yes," Zor stated. "I never wanted her to be used for evil. I wanted her safe, I thought I'd sent her to Earth to live a normal human life. My colleagues and I discovered the unique properties of the yellow sun on our people, but I thought I was able to disconnect the DNA that enabled the super powers."

"It didn't work," Clark stated simply.

"Well, yes and no," Zor stated to his nephew, "but let's just say that the Daughters of Night were able to manipulate her DNA when they got hold of her. If I had known… but then again, the Kryptonian Council didn't allow her existence so I would have been in a predicament regardless."

"You know all this?" Diana asked. "The Daughters of Night's influence?"

"Before communication with Earth was cut off by their magic–" Zor began.

"Science," Cisco countered.

"Science, magic… whatever," Zor chuckled to Cisco. "We found out about Reign around the same time you did. Her first attack. We wanted to know more but then we couldn't contact Earth. Alura and I had to jump through hoops to get information, but we found out in the end – one of the Daughters of Night served on the new Council until it was all unearthed."

"Sounds like a lot's been happening on Little Krypton since the last time I was there," Zia pointed out.

"As has Earth," Zor smiled to his daughter. "But long story short, as you like to say on this world, the Daughter of Night has been apprehended and I am free to take Reign back to Little Krypton. I can find a way to disconnect her from her powers completely now. She can live a normal life."

"Well, her name is Samantha now," Kayla voiced.

"How human," Zor chuckled. "Is… is it okay that I take her back to Little Krypton?" He looked between Clark and Diana now at this.

"Well her attacks were on the heroes," Clark said looking to Diana. "I'll get into contact with her adoptive mother and put an article out explaining where she's been sent. It should be fine," Zor smiled at his nephew at that.

"That's good then," Zor said, happily.

"Well, I'll come with you," Zia spoke up. "I've missed talking to mom."

"Me too," Kayla spoke, Cisco now looking to her. "I'd like to see Little Krypton now that this world is safe from Reign."

"I'll stay here," Cisco raised a hand. "I'd like to know more of this world since Crisis, after all."

"Well then, it's settled," Diana spoke, Zia grinned as she led the way to the transporter while Zor and Kayla followed, manhandling the unconscious Reign.

"I guess that's another Golden League meeting over…?" Jesse asked.

"Seemed hardly worth coming here," Ray, the ATOM, added.

"Not at all – we found out what happened to Reign and who she is. I think this meeting has been very productive," Martian Manhunter spoke at this.

"Indeed," Clark chuckled.

-Hitchhiker Guide-

Back on Karry Universe, Kayla now sat by the pool, alone and thinking. Cisco had remained on Kingdom Come longer than she had and since her portal device had been tampered with, she had to use the normal multiverse system to get back to Karry – much to the shock of Karry's Jesse, who had been working solo in the Superflash cave where multiverse transport ended up.

Now Kayla had her journal open, wondering what she was going to write. It was tradition now to write about her multiverse encounters. She even had a journal for her covering Prime, Mutant, and now Karry pregnancies.

I returned to Kingdom Come today, she started, thoughtfully. Cisco had pointed out how much it's like Old Justice, what with the two Leagues on one world, so he wanted to know more of Kingdom Come – especially since Crisis. Of course, the biggest Crisis Change is my new little sister, Zia Zor-El. She's pretty cool and dedicated to being a hero and sibling to Clark. It makes sense as Kara there doesn't really want anything to do with Clark, which is a shame.

I never did find out Zia's personal history but did find out she goes by 'Dynagirl' instead of taking over the Supergirl mantle. I think she's a little scared to take over her big sister's name, but who am I to judge? She chuckled to herself, with her covering pregnancies and jumping worlds, she wasn't one to talk about taking over other Supergirl's roles. But speaking of Kryptonian names, I finally met a Reign today – the one Karry killed during Galactic Conquest, who's also on Beautiful as my counterpart's reluctant sister. She had done her research since she'd come back to Karry.

Reign… what a sad history that is. This particular one was taken by the Kryptonian Witches and manipulated to do their bidding; it seemed anger motivated her as she finally came from her human alter ego after being fired by Lex Luthor.

But that's not all, once we stopped Reign, I got to meet my father! My actual father this time. I mean Zor-El's still alive on some worlds, but I've yet to meet most of them. Karry's Zor-El is alive, it's where I am right now, obviously, but has a different face to the father I know. Makes sense considering us Els have various faces across the multiverse, but it was nice to meet my original-faced father for once. I even went to Little Krypton with him. She paused at this, remembering the colony world.

Little Krypton is… interesting. The colony world of Krypton established a few years ago, it's much like a smaller scaled Krypton – actually, more like Prime's Ceres colony world, apart from the fact it's 'the' Krypton now and not just 'a' colony world. I met mom again, and learned more about Kara, and met one of Kara's old friends who'd survived Krypton's destruction. I didn't know her at all but kept a happy face.

I also found out more about Elysium and Daxam 2.0 too, Kayla had to mention this. It seems on Daxam 2.0, Mon is getting ready to become King, which is awesome. As for Elysium, Kara and Barry are expecting a child so another Karry kid coming to the multiverse. And Rae, she made herself a house away from the city in a clearing in a forest. She comes back for meetings for her position in the government. You know that Rae is unlike her counterpart; I don't think she will ever find a lover or have kids. She prefers her solitude. Something I understand.

She looked up at this and momentarily took in the calm waters before bending back down over the journal. I don't know, ever since my home world went evil and I ended up on Paranormal Earth, I now prefer my own company these days. But who knows what the future holds? I know I want to go back to Kingdom Come eventually, but not yet – and I still want a Kryptonian animal, but more on that another day.

Kayla closed her journal at this and looked back over the lake, smiling to herself. It was peaceful here and private – there wasn't even any sounds of tourists nearby, even with her superior Kryptonian hearing. She really could get used to the quiet life of Lake House living.
