The Hitchhikers Guide to Disney, Part 2
Kayla was lying next to Mon in her bedroom in SuperEarth's Kara and Barry's townhouse. She was currently covering SuperEarth Kara's pregnancy, having literally just covered for Karry Universe's latest pregnancy. Now, the sun was rising, as Kayla had just woken.
"Do you have to do anything today?" Mon asked Kayla.
"If something comes up, they might need Supergirl," Kayla responded. "But besides that, no. Why?"
"I was thinking we could do something together. I hear movies and dinner is a very big Earth tradition for mating humans," Mon said, and Kayla had to laugh at the wording.
"Mating humans? You're so romantic," Kayla chuckled. "So, you want to go on another date?" Kayla said with a smile. "I think…"
"Kayla?" It was Barry's voice, coming from the closed door. "Mon?"
"Do you have another pregnancy cover after this?" Mon asked, groaning thinking his date idea was gone now because there was some emergency.
"Who knows? Not all Earths use me when their Kara or Kayla's are pregnant," Kayla mused as there was a knock on the door. "Come in; we're decent!" The door opened, but it wasn't just Barry who walked in; Amelia Allen was with him as well along with Winn. Kayla instantly knew this was Karry Universe's Amelia and Winn - she had just spent months there, after all. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you not be here since you have… well that," Kayla pointed at Amelia's hand.
"My wedding ring?" Amelia asked, giving a smirk.
"You know what I mean," Kayla said, knowing Amelia was just joking. Yes, Amelia's engagement ring and wedding band were on the same hand as the ring Kayla was actually talking about. The fragment to the Loom of Fate that really shouldn't be on this Earth when the Sisters of Fate were so close to getting back to the world.
"Yeah, I do, and don't worry it will be fine for a bit. We're only going to be here for a few hours until we move to the next one," Amelia said.
"The next what…?" Mon asked.
"Disney," all three said together and Kayla had to groan.
"We're doing another Disney park-hopping day. We're starting here in our Disney, Disneyland: London," Barry said. "And then we're going to Beautiful's Dark Kingdom. We've been there before but Cisco and Winn voted to do it now, since they have never been. Then it's FrostAllen and Splitsville for their unique parks."
"I get to join this time," Winn said happily.
"And I'm coming because…?" Kayla asked.
"Because you're the Hitchhiker," even Mon had joined the others in saying it.
"Come on, Junior is already waiting for us," Amelia said, and a portal opened as if to prove her point. "We brought enough small cameras for everyone this time. We'll put them on before entering the park." Amelia jumped into the portal, followed by Barry and Winn. Kayla hesitated now.
"Come on, you had fun last time," Mon said, tossing on a shirt.
"You ever tell them that I will dump you so fast it makes your head spin," Kayla retorted.
"Your secret is safe with me," Mon said, giving her a kiss and then going through the still-open portal.
"Oh, why not? Let's see if anything beats Christmas Disney," Kayla said with a shrug and joined the group, jumping through the portal.
They entered SuperEarth's Disneyland: London before the check in gates, but even here Kayla could tell there was a difference – there were British flags all over the place, instead of the usual American flag and, looking at guides posted on the entrance area, the park was similar to Disneyland: Paris, with a main 'Magic Kingdom' like park and a 'Hollywood Studios' type side-park too.
Passing through the gate, they headed straight up the main park, bypassing the movie park – although Cisco and Winn seemed to want to make a beeline toward it.
"What's in the movie park?" Kayla had to ask when Amelia and Barry steered the two nerds forward.
"Galaxy's Edge, because that makes all parks a tonne of money," Barry explained, "a Mary Poppins attraction – not the same as the one in the main park – and some Pirates of the Caribbean rides, too. There are some others, but not the reason why we're here," as he finished, they reached what should have been Main Street, but with a twist: it resembled Oxford Street in London itself, with old style British buildings, awning and decorations. There were even some known brand names lining the street.
"Are we really in London?" Kayla asked, knowing how packed London itself was, how old the city was – it wasn't easy to build a park in it like Anaheim in California or even on the outskirts of Paris in France.
"Actually we're near the Harry Potter studios in a place called Watford," Barry explained. "There's a free shuttle train and bus from the city to here, paid for by the Disney company for its guests."
"Interesting," Kayla nodded, not sure what else to say to that.
But she didn't need to think of anything else to say as her eyes went straight to the castle that was the center point of most parks: This was definitely the Red Queen's Castle from the classic Alice in Wonderland movie, painted in greys, pinks and reds. Many people were taking photos in front of it, and, of course, there was a Walt-and-Mickey statue out front too.
"Group photo!" Amelia shouted, Kayla rolling her eyes as Mon laughed, and the group gathered next to each other as the familiar floating camera that Amelia had the previous time shot out of a device she was wearing and took some photos of them. Amelia instantly went to her phone to have a look at the pictures taken. "Oh, these are good," she grinned. "Ooh, and cameras for you too – to attach to record our day from your point of view. We're all wearing one." Amelia handed the tiny cameras to Kayla and Mon and they both put them on.
"Where to first then?" Kayla asked, intrigued as to what the plan was, getting used to the British and European accents around her instead of the American ones she was used to at Disney parks and her multiverse homes in general.
"Well, we have the Red Queen's Maze, the updated Peter Pan's Flight, Bedknobs and Broomstrick's Adventure, we need to visit the Sword in the Stone area, as well as the Winnie the Pooh meet-and-greet area, oh and there's Cherry Tree Lane, which is the Mary Poppins part of this park," Barry listed it all off, knowing this Disney well.
"There's also Cruella's Mad Car Ride," Winn pointed out. "It's kind of like Fast Track, only you're in variations of her car."
"Sounds good to me," Mon replied. "Where to first then?"
"Pictures with Excalibur!" Cisco stated, pointing to the area near them where the familiar sword in the stone waited, alongside a man dressed as Merlin. It was quick and easy to get photos, each holding the sword, and also with Merlin. At least this bit was quick and easy.
"Well, that was a good start," Kayla stated, noting that the sword and stone were all one thing thanks to her x-ray vision anyway. "So, what's next?"
"Next is Peter Pan's Flight – it's got 3D animations and updated animatronics," Barry informed them.
"Okay, lead the way," Cisco stated, Barry taking the lead to the ride. The line wasn't too bad, and once they got onto the ride, it really was better, bigger and more adventurous.
They still rode on a miniature version of Captain Hook's boat, but everything else was more impressive and modernized, with the London set below bigger and interactive, the boat nearly crashing into Big Ben and once they flew to the second star to the left, the ride got faster to shoot through the light and into the next room for Neverland. They even met an interactive Peter Pan and Tinkerbell who greeted them to Neverland. After flying over the island, the boat then returned to London and the group got off the ride.
"Well, that was cool!" Amelia stated. "I don't think I'll ever look at the classic Peter Pan's Flight the same way again."
"I don't have to," Barry teased his alternative sister, this being his world after all.
"Yeah, that was fun," Kayla agreed. "They did London by night quite well. I've flown over it a few times and it was very similar."
"Where next?" Mon now had to ask.
"I did want to do the Red Queen's Maze but the line to it is massive," Amelia sighed now, looking at the app she had on her phone. "And we can't spend all day here after all. We have plans on three other Earths."
"No fast-passes?" Cisco asked.
"Not to the maze; we have them for most of the others. Come on, let's do Bedknobs and Broomsticks!" Barry decided, looking at his own app for that too.
The wait to that ride was a little long, even with fast-passes, but once they got there it was the most unusual ride they'd been on. Strapped to a bed for safety, the ride was an interactive rollercoaster, it's starting point a small seaside village in the south coast of the United Kingdom, before flying over a war-torn London, then diving into the ocean to visit the fishes in 'The Beautiful Briny Sea' then ending up on the magical island of Naboombu to watch the special football match of the animals before travelling back to the quiet little seaside village where the ride ended.
"Okay, that was good. I love Bedknobs and Broomsticks!" Kayla grinned once they left, Mon putting an arm around her as they allowed Barry and Amelia to lead the way.
"Then you'll love Mary Poppin's Cherry Tree Lane," Amelia stated, leading them to the attraction; Kayla and Mon had to gasp as they, indeed, were on Cherry Tree Lane from the Mary Poppins movie – except there was an addition: on the park beyond the gates, and through the trees there was a classic English fun fair, which Cisco and Winn instantly lead them to.
"Carousel!" Kayla actually squeaked, seeing the wooden horses - except she had to pause when she realized the ride was going around the wrong way. "Hang on…"
"Yeah, that threw me to begin with," Barry said, knowing what Kayla meant. "Fun fact, Carousels in the UK run clockwise, while a lot of those in the USA run anti-clockwise – as we're in the UK, it's clockwise. Come on, it'll be fine."
"You don't need to tell me twice," Kayla grinned as she went to join the line to the carousel, before jumping on a horse, Mon loyally next to her.
After the ride, since they hadn't had breakfast, Mon and Kayla went to get hot dogs and popcorn, before coming across a meet-and-greet with Mary Poppins herself, which they had to do. After that, they joined Winn and Cisco on the small Ferris Wheel, which gave them a good view on the bigger park and a good photo shot of the castle, too.
"We can't stay long," Cisco stated once the group rejoined each other in the fun fair. "We have Beautiful Earth shortly. But one more ride… come on."
"Crue-Crue!" Amelia laughed, knowing what Cisco meant.
"What?" Kayla shared a look with Mon who shrugged, but their questions were answered when they came across the sign to Cruella's Mad Car Ride. "Ohhhh," Kayla sighed, realizing 'Crue-Crue' must have been some weird nickname for Cruella De Ville from 101 Dalmatians.
The ride itself was similar to Fast Track from classic EPOCTs, like Barry had said earlier, albeit without having to design a car as the cars themselves were all similar and varying designs of Cruella's own car from both the classic films and the live action remakes – but with no roofs so they could enjoy the actual speeding of the ride.
The car went around in a rollercoaster for a couple of laps, getting fast, going almost sideways at points and purposefully almost crashing near the end. At various points in the ride, they also passed some Dalmatian animatronics, Horace and Jasper in their own van and Cruella too.
Once off the ride, there was the option for a meet-and-greet with Cruella, which Amelia and Barry did, but Kayla decided against so to leave the ride and wait.
"I really wanted to do the Winnie the Pooh meet and greet too," Winn sighed, looking at his watch now.
"Sadly, no time," Cisco stated as the group came together again outside of the Cruella ride. "And we all need to wear holographic technology for the next park – actually, before we even go to the next world. Kayla, your necklace can change your face, too."
"Shouldn't the brown hair be enough to not confuse me with my super-famous alternative?" Kayla asked as they now headed back to the gate.
"Kayla Kent's been a redhead in the past and people recognized her instantly," Cisco explained, "so I'm pretty sure her fans will see through the brown hair instantly. Actually come to think of it, she has dyed her hair brown in the past for movies too and fans have recognized her."
"Fine," Kayla sighed as they exited the park. She knew how to edit her holographic necklace before pressing the button, changing her face to the surprise of the others; but they didn't have too much time to react as Cisco was already handing out other holographic jewelry to the others.
"Pre-programmed everyone's looks into them," Cisco explained as Mon hit his and turned into a wannabe young Leonard DiCarpiro, causing Kayla to raise her eyebrows at his new appearance. Amelia, meanwhile, now looked a little bit like Rey from Star Wars; while Cisco seemed to have a Goth appearance now, while Winn resembled Eric Mabius from Ugly Betty.
Barry looked the most different of all. A face Kayla couldn't put her finger on but didn't have time to as they'd found a quiet spot away from the park for Cisco to open a new portal.

"I got it!" Kayla said as they came out of the portal and onto Beautiful Earth. "You look like Ezra Miller from the Fantastic Beast franchise," she pointed to Barry at this.
"What…?" Barry asked. "Why would Cisco base my look on that guy. He's insane!"
"Never mind," Cisco said, possibly blushing under the goth look he had. "Tickets are all loaded and ready to go. Let's go into Dark Kingdom."
Amelia and Barry led the way here too, since the two had been to this park before – crashing the day when the normal Beautiful Earth crew had decided to visit the park. Dark Kingdom itself was based on the villains of the franchise with Maleficent's castle being the center point which the group paused at to get pictures. Kayla was impressed by the large castle, too.
"So where to?" Winn asked.
"This entire park is basically a dark replica of Magic Kingdom. You'll find similar rides in the same locations; for example, while Magic Kingdom has Buzz Lightyear ride, here has a Kill the Beast ride, following Gaston as he attempts to kill the beast and we're his angry mob shooting at the castle enchantments and the Beast himself," Barry said. "And speaking of Buzz, there's also a Zurg ride somewhere…"
"We didn't get on that last time," Amelia said.
"Reason why we have fast-passes for it now," Barry said as Winn put an arm around Amelia. The group headed for the right.
"So, Kill the Beast and then...?" Mon asked, putting an arm around Kayla who was looking around. The park itself was definitely darker in tone, sticking to black, reds, and dark blue colors and avoiding lighter colors, but there was still that light Disney magic that most parks they knew had.
"Zurg Space Ride," Amelia now confirmed. "A version of Space Mountain based on Zurg. Then we're going to do the Villain Meet and Greets. First the males which is in the same section here and then head over to the female section."
"We hardly get to meet and greet villains at other Disneys," Winn added.
"It's true," Cisco said.
The Kill the Beast ride had an interesting line before the ride: It looked like Gaston's Tavern on the outside and lines which Gaston would say were on the walls around the line. Before entering the ride, there was an animatronic Gaston holding the magic mirror where they could see the Beast yelling for them to join them. Once to the ride, there were two people to a car, Amelia and Winn sitting together and Kayla and Mon getting on the same seat. Cisco and Barry taking a seat together.
"Almost feels like we're crashing a double date," Cisco joked.
"Or people could just think it's a triple date," Kayla, who was in the car in front of Cisco said, and Barry had to laugh.
"What?" Barry asked as Cisco gave him a look. "It was funny. You're my date," he pushed Cisco playfully at this who shrugged at the comment.
The guns on the ride looked like more old fashion guns but still shot out a light beam when firing. The ride started off as they approached the castle. There were the marks telling them where to shoot and once they entered the castle, most of the targets were on characters from Beauty and the Beast. Ms. Potts was a target as well as Lumiere and all the normal characters – even the piano, Cadenza, from the live action version and some characters from the Christmas movie.
Beast was the last one they saw, with multiple different targets to hit. He was in an attack position and Gaston's voice was yelling to 'Kill the Beast!'.
"Ha! My score was highest," Winn said as they were all together again at the exit, their scores listed above the picture of them taken.
"You got lucky. Want to go again?" Barry asked.
"Oh, not this again," Amelia groaned. "You did the same thing on Toy Story Mania with our Barry. Drop it, and let's go to Zurg."
The line for Zurg Space Ride was long but the group had fast-passes for it. The ride in itself was very similar to Space Mountain, being an inside rollercoaster, but there was some Toy Story/Buzz Lightyear layovers and graphics. Kayla secretly figured this might have been a wasted ride as she felt Space Mountain was just as good, though.
"Time for one more ride?" Mon asked.
"Meet and Greets and then we need to get to FrostAllen Earth," Cisco announced, shaking his head to Mon who gave a pout, but shrugged.
The Meet and Greets were packed but were completely worth it as Kayla enjoyed taking pictures with Gaston, Hades, and Pete - Mickey's arch nemesis. Then they went over and waited on the line to get pictures with female villains, too – specifically Maleficent, Yzma from Emperor's New Groove, and Mother Gothel.
"I just thought of something. We're all wearing holograms!" Mon said when they walked out of the pictures. "The photos won't have our real faces…"
"Don't worry, we have technology that will eliminate the hologram and restore our actual faces," Amelia explained quickly.
"I don't know, I'm kind of growing to like this look," Cisco mused, looking in a nearby mirror. Barry hit him at this, and both laughed.
"Yeah, the holograms are just light after all. It's an easy fix for digital photos," Winn explained. "Cisco and I will do it before sending the pictures out."
"Oh, good," Mon said. "So, now one more ride? Like that Hades Underworld Ride?"
"One more," Cisco smirked, "but then we really need to go!"
The Hades Ride didn't have as big of a line as some of the others and seemed to move fast – each boat was able to take a large amount of people on an animated tour of the underworld: the ride was completely based on the underworld shown in the Hercules movie, after all, which wasn't so exact to Greek mythology but made for an interesting ride as they followed Hades trying to get Hercules's life string cut.
Once off the ride, they had to maneuver back to the entrance and exit so that they could leave officially. Through the gates, they found a quiet area so they could both take off their holograms and open a portal.
"Right. Off to FrostAllen now," Cisco said, turning off his hologram first as he opened a new portal to the next world.

Landing outside the next Disney Park, now showing their normal faces, the group moved away from the quiet area in which they had landed and headed in the direction of the park. It was obvious they were still in Florida since Dark Kingdom was in Magic Kingdom as well. The parks in Florida had a whole different vibe to it – Disney in its Florida location was a small county all to itself, most time – not to mention, it was definitely warmer to when they were in England two parks ago.
"'Welcome to DisneySea: USA!'," Kayla read the sign above the entrance. "So, it's sea-themed here?" Kayla remembered the Prime Island as well – it seems they were doing another water park.
"Yup!" Cisco took the lead. "On most worlds there's still the main DisneySeas park in Tokyo, but the theme is popular here, so they added this park to Florida. It's not exactly a carbon copy of the ones in Tokyo, being in Florida they have to make sure no gators or snakes breed in the waters, but aside from that, it's a good park."
"I think they built this park instead of Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon," Winn added thoughtfully
As the group had been talking, they moved through the gates, through security, scanning their magic bands that were modified to the worlds they were visiting. Kayla knew a little about the DisneySeas park in Tokyo and obviously remembered the Floating Island on Prime, but she recognized instant differences from the Tokyo and island park, in that it wasn't designed to host several ports with rides around the ports and lot of extra water; this park was more akin to the traditional parks, with a main street entrance, a large center point attraction and different areas to the park.
"A steamboat that goes around the entire park?" Mon's voice bought Kayla back to Earth as she noticed the attraction too – instead of the usual Railroad the parks had going around the park, here there was a steamboat and a man-made river, with exit points across the park, according to the map. There were bridges for guests to walk over the river and to the main park with several people hanging out on the bridges taking pictures as well.
"Now that is cool," Winn voiced.
"Not quite as quick as a train though," Barry mused as they bypassed the steamboat's entrance and over the bridge to get to main street. "Oh, now this is more my scene!"
In place of Main Street USA, the town-like entrance that all here were familiar with, this place was instead designed as more of a pirate's port – with an added covered stream in the middle for the sound and visuals of water. Barry was grinning as they walked down the street while the others took in the sights.
"'Tortuga Free Port'," Mon stated, reading the signs going across the street.
"Just like in the Pirates of the Caribbean films! They went to Tortuga to drink and recruit others to their pirate ships," Barry explained. "They cleaned it up a bit for a Disney attraction…" he added, noticing it didn't exactly resemble the place from the films, but was good enough.
"Forget that, look at the center point!" Cisco cried, all turning their eyes to an impossibly large ride that took the place where most castles usually were in these parks.
"Splash Mountain!" Winn squealed. "Please tell me we're going on that!"
"Yes, we are," Amelia stated. "Although the drops aren't from the top directly to the bottom. You kind of go in and out and drop down until you reach the bottom – completely unethical and dangerous for a complete drop from that height."
"True," Winn stated.
"I guess it's time for a photo?" Kayla asked, Amelia laughing as they did, indeed, take positions in front of the mountain to get a good group photo.
"First we need to go on Crush's Water Rapids," Cisco was the one to state this once Amelia was happy with the photos. "Our fast-pass for Splash Mountain isn't for another hour."
And so off they went, deeper into the park to a Finding Nemo area, where the wild rapids ride was located. As rapids went, it was pretty generic, although a little harsher than most, with Crush the sea turtle guiding the way – even the boat they rode on was shaped as a sea turtle and the group got totally soaked.
Leaving the ride, Mon with his arm around Kayla again, they walked towards a more traditional Splash Mountain, although Kayla noted it had a Pocahontas overlay and had to chuckle to herself.
"What's so funny?" Mon asked.
"We just went on the rapids and it's Splash Mountain that was changed to Pocahontas here," Kayla explained, to receive a blank look from Mon. "When we did Prime's Island Disney a while back, we also went on a rapids ride, but that was Pocahontas and not Crush."
"Oh," Mon smirked at this, but didn't find it as amusing as Kayla did. "But didn't another one of those parks have a Pocahontas Splash Mountain as well?"
"Possibly, I got to look at my journal," Kayla said.
"Are we…?" Winn was the one to ask as they passed the entrance line for this Splash Mountain.
"No," Amelia was their guide, "we're doing the giant Splash but not the normal one. Come on, there's Moana's Waterfall to ride next."
"Moana's Waterfall?" Kayla asked but was answered when they reached the ride. Riders had to get into Moana-style boats and use oars to keep away from the various waterfalls that the boats could pass under. Since they were already wet from the rapids, Kayla and Mon, who took a boat themselves, didn't bother too much in avoiding some of the waterfalls and continued to be soaked through.
"I swear my shoes are made of water now," Barry laughed as he shook his soaking feet to splash the group some more.
"Before we leave there's a special people-dryer," Amelia explained. "Don't want to be wet going to Splitsville."
"And you humans don't want to catch colds," Mon added, mainly to Cisco, Winn and Amelia – he was unsure what Barry counted as, being a quick-healing speedster.
"Come on, there's a Frozen 2 ride, then we can do the giant Splash Mountain, and then it's food and off to Splitsville," Amelia instructed, the group following her lead.
The Frozen 2 ride was unique in that it didn't actually take place in water – instead, it was more like Avatar's Flight of Passage, with the rider attached to robotic horses following Elsa as she tried to freeze and control an ocean, much like from the much-advertised scene in Frozen 2. The ride made them feel like they were flying high when jumping to the top of frozen waves and skiing low as they reached the bottoms – all with Elsa as their guide.
"That was interesting," Kayla mused once they left the ride, but had to pause as Cisco looked a little green.
"You alright there, buddy?" Mon ask.
"I'll be fine. I wanna get on Splash Mountain," Cisco stated.
"Let's take a breather first," Barry decided, stopping the group just shy of the start of the line to the giant Splash Mountain so Cisco could recover, and they could watch the ride – from afar it really had looked like one long fall from the top to the bottom, but up close it was at least three falls, one visually on top of the other but safely separated.
Finally joining the line, the group decided to split into two groups of three, with Cisco, Winn and Amelia taking the first log flume and Barry, Kayla and Mon taking the second. The theme was the familiar Splash Mountain theme, following the tale of Br'er Rabbit, Fox and Bear, but with the plot more stretched out to accommodate the larger ride. Once at the top, after taking a momentary glimpse at the park from afar, the first drop was actually quite small, with the boat then going into the mountain to circle around to do the second drop, which was bigger, with the third being the biggest, as they had guessed.
Coming past the steamboat at the end, the song Zippidy-Doo-Dah playing, Mon and Kayla agreed that the name 'Seas' was appropriate for this park, as they hadn't been dry since they arrived.
"Alright gang," Cisco now spoke, having recovered from his feeling sick earlier. "People-dryer, food and then we're out of here."
"Good idea, it is getting dark," Mon pointed out as, indeed, the sun was starting to set already.
Drying off was easy enough, but Amelia did rush them a little as they had a special meal booked at Chef Louis's, a take on the Chef from the Little Mermaid. The restaurant reminded Kayla a little of Be Our Guest, with Eric's castle on top of the restaurant and a glamorous interior once inside.
The food was mainly seafood, but the group didn't mind as Kayla and Mon ordered Oysters to share, while the rest of the group got their own fish-y meals; Amelia seemed very happy with her blackened Mahi Mahi while Winn had a shrimp dinner. Again, though, they had to speed a little through their eating as Amelia wanted them on Splitsville at a certain time, which was coming up.
Leaving the restaurant, now fully dry and adequately full, the group made their way to the entrance/exit once more, finding a quiet spot so they could vibe to the next world.

Arriving on Splitsville, they barely had time to take in where they were when someone called.
"There you are!" A very familiar voice cried, and Kayla was surprised to see a younger Rae waiting for them. She was a teenager but seemed to be growing into her early 20s, getting close to the age New Justice Rae had been when they first met her. "I've been here a while! I wasn't sure when you were coming. Left Magic Kingdom early to get here on time."
"You could have joined us at the other three parks, Little Rae," Amelia reasoned.
"Actually, some of my college friends are doing a trip here before we go back, and I joined in. When Cisco here asked about tickets and I was going to be here at the same time I figured I would join up," Rae explained.
"You're going to college?" Barry asked.
"Culinary School," Rae cleared that up and Barry had to nod. "My grandparents have actually become far more interested and nicer since I got into a major Culinary School."
"Go figure," Barry muttered, having some idea of what Rae's grandparents from her mother's side were like, knowing their New Justice counterparts a little from his various times on that world.
"So, what's the park?" Mon asked; Kayla could see a sign off in the distance but had been distracted by one of the residents of this Earth joining them.
"Disney's Spirit of Halloween," Rae grinned taking the lead and bringing them towards the entrance.
"I thought you had Thanksgiving in October," Kayla pointed out, remembering that from her New Justice Kara and Rae talking.
"We do. Halloween is a few weeks later. The two Holidays are so close and since Thanksgiving is actually a national holiday it sometimes overshadows Halloween, but people really liked the movies and traditions, so Disney made a park we can celebrate whenever we like," Rae explained.
"That randomly made sense," Kayla muttered as they went to scan into the park.
"I think my original Earth is the only one without Halloween the way it is elsewhere," Amelia added as they got in, having celebrated All Hollow's Eve instead on her original world, which was more religious than on most Earths.
Cisco, Winn, and Barry squealed at the entrance.
"It's Halloween Town!" Barry cried as the three boys went ahead, Mon taking Kayla's hand as they walked over. Kayla had seen the movie the boys were talking about, the Disney Channel original movies Halloween Town, and knew they were right – the entrance of this park resembled the main street in Halloween Town, including the giant pumpkin in the front, with its face lit up since it was getting dark out. Amelia went after them this time, and the group posed for the normal photo in front of the symbol of the park: The pumpkin.
"On Halloween, they do a special ceremony, and you can usually get a few of the people from the seven movies to show up for it," Rae explained after the picture was taken, looking back at the large pumpkin as she said it.
"Seven movies!?" Winn, Cisco and Barry said together before Winn came up and put his arms on Rae's shoulders.
"Tell me who was the main actress," Winn said.
"Um... maybe look at the posters," Rae said, pointing at a nearby wall where seven posters were.
"Look, the main actress stayed throughout all the movies," Barry said, pointing at them. It was the same actress in the posters for all the movies. Unlike on their Earths where she was recast for the 4th movie. "And they actually did a movie bringing back Kalibur's son."
"We must watch," Cisco said, and Amelia giggled.
"Glad I got us fast-passes for Halloween Town's Broom Flight," Rae said, and led the way to a nearby ride that wasn't that far off the main entrance.
There, they walked into a house that looked like Agatha Cromwell's house in Halloween Town. Kayla described the ride a lot like the ET ride at Universal, only instead of a bike it was a broom which took you into the air and they saw views of Halloween Town from above.
Afterward they went over to a Jack Skellington ride called the Pumpkin King, which went through Jack Skellington's domain as the Halloween Town in the Nightmare Before Christmas movie with the town resident singing 'This is Halloween'.
"We're going on the Twitches Rollercoaster, right?" Winn asked once they got off this ride.
"Yes," Amelia said; the ride being based on a Disney Channel original Halloween Movie called Twitches, which was a half a dark-inside ride and half-light-outside. The outside part showed scenes along the way of the two sisters meeting and the dark inside was battling the darkness.
"That was better than the Zurg ride," Kayla said when they got off the ride.
"We're doing a meet and greet with the Sanderson Sisters and then we have a Firework Dessert Party," Rae now explained. "You're lucky I was able to get that at short notice."
"Not lucky. I would say skilled," Cisco smirked at Rae.
"Did you mess around with our reservations?" Rae asked, chasing after the nerd, causing the others to laugh as Winn took Amelia's hand, kissing her cheek.
Mon now kissed Kayla's cheek.
"Maybe after the dessert party we can jump to Hero and do Christmas as well," Mon whispered.
"I like what you're thinking, but I think it will be too late. We'll do Christmas again some other day," Kayla said as they went to meet up with the Sanderson Sisters.
It was an incredibility long line to meet the witch sisters but was completely worth it with the three actresses they had playing the sisters being hilarious. Occasionally, they'd break out into songs too, with the popular 'I Put A Spell on You' song being used a lot.
"I'm surprised at how popular the Sanderson sisters were," Cisco voiced, now walking away from the meet and greets.
"Why? It's a popular movie franchise," Rae pointed out.
"Movie... franchise?" Cisco asked, his eyes lighting up at this.
"Sure, there's like four films and a TV show," Rae stated, frowning at the reaction from the others. "There's nothing like that on your worlds, is there?"
"I need to check Beautiful Earth but there's only one Hocus Pocus film on my world," Cisco pointed out.
"Our world and Prime has a sequel coming out on Disney Plus," Amelia pointed out, "but we really need to check out those films here."
"Ours has that sequel coming too," Barry voiced at this. "I'm looking forward to it!"
"Well, I'm game for a Hocus Pocus movie night," Winn smirked at this.
"You know I'm joining in," Cisco added.
"Me too!" Barry called.
"I'm good," Kayla voiced, the nerds and Amelia looking at her for this. "What? I like the first movie but I'm not overly fussed about it, to be honest," she clarified. This was met with silence until Rae now spoke.
"That selfie device is really cool," Rae said, changing the topic now. "Maybe you need to send the plans for it to Aunt Nora's husband? STAR Labs can make one for here."
"Nora is married to Harrison Wells," Cisco said, deciding not to address Hocus Pocus anymore.
"Yep, HR," Rae said. "He's weird but nice enough. Not the confusing side of the family."
"Oh yeah what's the confusing side?" Amelia asked.
"Uncle Henry and his three daughters," Rae said, making everyone look at each other. "Aunt Nora was pregnant when the two divorced – mainly because Uncle Henry had fallen in love with Aunt Cat. Aunt Cat had gotten pregnant right away with a daughter as well and due to a mix up both got named Amelia. Then, Uncle Henry donated sperm and my aunt's sister, Annie, used it and had also named her daughter Amelia. So, they are all half-sisters, two are cousins, basically the same age, and they are all named Amelia. They go by various different nicknames, but hilariously love it when someone yells Amelia and they all answer. The three are pretty close, actually."
"Yep, that's confusing," Winn agreed, the rest of the group remaining silent at this revelation.
The group had been walking as Rae explained this unusual fact about her family and had stopped outside a restaurant that had an outside patio, Rae giving their names and the group being led to a large table. The Dessert Party was a large buffet style eatery where they could just grab whatever they liked. There was an ice cream machine, as well, and toppings – a couple of themed desserts like cookie bats and spider gummies.
"Attention all Halloween Town residents, Fireworks will be starting in 5 minutes," a voice said over the speakers.
"We have a great view from here," Rae said.
The group continued to snack on the desserts and Mon gave Kayla a kiss as the fireworks started. Amelia leaned into Winn as they watched the Halloween-themed fireworks – the colors mostly being orange and the music aligning to Halloween themes.
After the fireworks were over, an announcement said the park would be closing soon.
"I got to head back to my hotel before my friends ask where I am," Rae said as they walked out, heading to where they had portaled in and out. The group screamed as a black cat suddenly appeared on her shoulders. "Hey, Sha're you traveled through the shadows to me." Rae took the cat and hugged her, giving her a kiss. "I'll have to bring you home before getting back to my friends."
Rae gave a wave and ran off. "I think that was the scariest part of this park. Disney should pay the cat to randomly pop out of the shadows at people," Winn said, and the group laughed.
"Karry Universe for you two," Cisco said opening up a portal for Amelia and Winn, who said their goodbyes and leaving.
"SuperEarth for you three." Cisco said, afterward opening another portal; Barry, Kayla and Mon going through it as well, saying bye to Cisco.
"And Mutant for me... and I said that to no one but me," Cisco mumbled heading home.
-Hitchhikers Guide-
The portal, thankfully, opened up in the townhouse – SuperEarth Kara and Barry's newish home; a small scream from a shocked young Zari and Adrianna grabbed their attention as Barry quickly ran to his adopted children, but Kara was there too. Waiting.
"Hey, it's fine," Barry said to the two girls, who weren't used to portal yet.
"How was it?" Kara asked the three, while the girls calmed down.
"Really fun," Barry stated, kissing Adrianna on her head before moving on to kiss Kara too. "I really hope the Flash and Supergirl weren't needed…?"
"Quiet day for once," Kara stated happily, Barry now hugging Adrianna.
"In that case we'll just…" Kayla spoke up, excusing herself.
"Bye Aunt Kayla, Uncle Mon!" Zari waved the pair who smiled back, unsure on the 'aunt' and 'uncle' name, but the girl had been calling them that for a few weeks now. Her sister hadn't picked up on it though. It had been weird for both of them to see such a young version of their friend, Zari Tomaz, who was now on Karry, but they had decided to keep that to themselves rather than tell the Kara and Barry of this world of their new adopted daughter's possible future.
Once upstairs, Kayla decided to take a shower before writing her journal, laughing when she opened her book to see the blank page had, in Mon-El's writing 'Cisco Only Kind of Sucks'. She rolled her eyes as she crossed this out, ready to write her own entry.
Well, today was a surprise Disney Day, Kaya began, after like a second of debating what Mon and I would be doing today, we were recruited into another Disney Hitchhiking Day. That wasn't planned. To be fair, SuperEarth's Disney was pretty cool as it was in the UK with a UK theme. Kind of weird being around the British accent but still it was fun – especially having the Red Queen's castle from Alice in Wonderland there. Best ride was the Bedknobs and Broomsticks ride, but I have to admit the updated Peter Pan's Flight and the Mary Poppins Fun Fair were brilliant too!
The second park was on Beautiful Earth, and we all had to wear holograms to hide our faces – I really must ask for the unaltered picture from Cisco to put in here, Kayla laughed, thinking of Mon looking like a cheap Leonardo DiCaprio and Cisco going goth. That would look good to support this journal entry. That was Dark Kingdom though and oh my god, all Disneys need to do this across the multiverse – rides based on the villains, meet-and-greets with the villains… oh it was so good, I don't even know where to start when describing it!
The third park then, that was on FrostAllen – although we never met with aforementioned FrostAllen themselves, Kayla wondered where they were, as surely FrostAllen's Barry, and maybe even Hunter Zoloman would have enjoyed their segment of this Disney Hitchhike. They used the term DisneySea to a whole new level as I don't think we actually dried off between rides, what with Crush's Water Rapids, Mona's Waterfall and the ginormous Splash Mountain. They even had a Frozen ride, which was interesting – even if it did make Junior momentarily sick.
The last park, cos I like keeping a record of these, was on Splitville, Kayla was winding up her writing now. We were joined by their Rae, who really is starting to look like New Justice's Rae which is weird yet inevitable. But the park itself was kind of cool, being Halloween Town from the Disney Channel original movie Halloween Town. In fact, the world celebrates Halloween a little differently given their Thanksgiving is around the same time, but it all worked out, I think, for them. That park though had some fun rides with the Broom Flight and the Pumpkin King ride, not to mention the giant pumpkin as the main attraction – fireworks were amazing though. But when do Disney fail when it comes to fireworks? Haha.
"Hey babe," Mon had just come out of the bathroom now, with just a towel around his waist, "I'm still hungry. Want to go somewhere to eat?"
"Sure, I'm game for something more," Kayla stated, closing her journal now. "Any thoughts?"
"Honestly, I'm kind of craving Outback Steakhouse now," Mon mused.
"Then a steak you shall have," Kayla smirked, going to find some clean casual clothing for herself as she'd been in her pajamas since her shower. "You might want to throw something on yourself – as attractive as a nearly-naked Mon-El is, I don't think everyone would be impressed by it."
"Good point," Mon chuckled, going to find some clothes to wear too.
-Hitchhikers Guide-
On Karry Universe Amelia was on a video chat with SuperEarth's Barry. They had started not even a half hour after both had returned home.
"Okay, video and photos downloaded into our shared document; Winn and Cisco still need to alternate the ones from Beautiful Earth, so we have our normal faces," Amelia said.
"Yeah," Barry said. "And remind me to slap Mutant Cisco when I see him again. He did make me look like Ezra Miller."
"Ezra Miller as the Flash. Urgh, could you even picture that?" Amelia asked with a chuckle. "But our document on the different worlds Disneys is really coming along nicely. It's such a shame so many Disneys follow the same path."
"I know. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom in Florida. Disneyland in California, Disneyland: Paris in France, Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland. But as for us, we're building up a good few alternate Disneys. We need to do an entire day at New Justice for their different parks," Barry said.
"Yeah, EPCOT City. That might need to be a weekend," Amelia corrected. "We'll need to have Junior look to see what our next four will be when we do a Disney Day again."
"We can also call around and maybe revisit some of these again and get on rides we were unable to the first time," Barry added. "Anyway, I got to go, Adrianna wants me to read her a bedtime story."
"Aw, have fun," Amelia said, and they ended call. "So, Winn you have fun?" Amelia turned to her husband.
"I did. Thank you for taking me this time," Winn said kissing Amelia and Amelia smiled.
"Always," Amelia voiced, kissing him back.
