Volume I: The Mighty Captain Marvel
Note: This will be the seventeenth chapter of Volume I, it will feature Carol Danvers first time being Captain Marvel as she cross paths with Spider-Man as they team up, this will also feature her origins of becoming the hero she is. Yon-Rogg and Minn-Erva will appear as members of Starforce, Mar-Vell and Ronan the Accuser will also make their first appearance in this chapter.
In a star system far, far away from Earth, on the planet Hala, home-world of the Kree species, capital planet of the Kree Empire. Inside the research complex, a Kree Imperial named Mar-Vell, Captain of Kree Starforce is walking down as he approaches the restricted section, he sees two Kree Guards protecting the entrance to the lab.
"Stay right there!"
"I'm Captain Mar-Vell of Kree Starforce, and I have permission to entire the lab, let me through." Mar-Vell demanded to go inside.
"Sorry sir, but you don't have the clearance to go inside, orders from Ronan himself. Walk away."
The guards refused him passage inside the lab, Mar-Vell is still determined to go inside as he quickly drew his blaster and killed off a couple of Kree Guards. He quickly picked up the key and used to open the door.
The door opened as Mar-Vell enters to find a stasis chamber in the middle of the lab, inside the chamber is a blonde haired woman in white underwear still trapped inside, unconscious and unable to move.
"Carol Danvers, I'm sorry that this happened to you. I wanted to save your life, but I may have ended taken it away. I had no idea that Ronan and the Kree wanted to use you as a weapon. I won't let that happen, I'm going to help you get your life back if it's the last thing I ever do." Mar-Vell says to an unconscious Carol.
Mar-Vell uses the console as he shut down the power to the stasis field, the chamber is slowly shutting down as Carol is starting to awake from her deep sleep, she woke up as she fell down but Mar-Vell quickly caught her in his arms.
"I got you, take it easy." Mar-Vell helping Carol.
"Who? Who are you? And who am I?" Carol is confused by everything.
"My name is Mar-Vell, Captain of Kree Starforce, I'll tell you everything you need to know but not here, it's not safe. We have to go now. Here, put this on quickly." Mar-Vell hands Carol a uniform.
Carol holds a Starforce uniform with cyan and black colors, she quickly dress herself.
Carol Danvers is a human female of 28 years old standing at 5' 11", she's got blonde hair and blue eyes.
Sometime later as Mar-Vell escorts a fully dressed Carol Danvers out of the complex, they heard an alarm triggered as the whole base is on alert.
"What is that?" Carol hearing the sounds.
"It's an alarm, there's more Kree coming, we have to get to the landing pad, my ship is waiting." Mar-Vell escorting Carol.
Mar-Vell and Carol began to run to the landing pad as security will be catching up soon.
(Restricted Lab)
Ronan arrived along with Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce, they see the stasis chamber is empty and that their experiment is gone. Ronan the Accuser is a Kree Imperial who leads the Accuser Corp, he's armed with a war hammer called the Universal Weapon, or Cosmi-Rod for some. Yon-Rogg is a Lieutenant and second in command of Kree Starforce under Captain Mar-Vell.
"He took it! Find the traitor and bring back our property!" Ronan orders Starforce.
Yon-Rogg leads the Starforce to capture their former leader and retrieve the experiment.
(Landing Pad)
Mar-Vell and Carol both made it to the landing pad as they see a ship waiting their.
"There's my ship, we're almost there!" Mar-Vell running with Carol.
They're almost to the ship until Mar-Vell took a sniper shot and got seriously injured, he fell down onto the ground. Carol stopped as she see Mar-Vell badly hurt, she went back to check on him.
"Mar-Vell! Are you alright?!" Carol is worried for Mar-Vell.
Carol sees him bleeding as he got badly shot by a plasma bolt, she looks around and sees someone on the balcony, it's Minn-Erva who shot Mar-Vell from a distance. Carol got mad as she began to glow and raised her hand, Minn-Erva is witnessing Carol using her powers. Carol fires off a blast of cosmic energy at Minn-Erva, but she missed as the sniper ran and dodged the blast.
"Wow, did I just do that?" Carol is shocked to find out what she did.
"Yes, that means that the experiment worked." Mar-Vell is weakened and bleeding.
Mar-Vell is coughing out Kree blood from his mouth as Carol check the wound, it's bad.
"You need help!" Carol says to Mar-Vell.
"No, it's too late for me, but not for you." Mar-Vell is dying.
"What are you saying?" Carol says to Mar-Vell.
"I'm sorry Carol Danvers, what happened was my fault, I thought I saved your life, but I may have taken it away. If I'm going to die, then let me die by fighting for you." Mar-Vell says to Carol.
They got interrupted by plasma fire coming from the Starforce, Mar-Vell pulled out his pistol and fired back at them.
"Get to the ship, I'll buy you some time." Mar-Vell fires more shots.
"Please Mar-Vell, I can help you, I won't leave you!" Carol doesn't want to leave Mar-Vell.
"You have to! Take this!" Mar-Vell hands Carol a device.
Carol holds some kind of device that Mar-Vell gave her along with dog tags.
"It will explain everything to you, now go! You must escape and live your life! Your life is your own!" Mar-Vell says to Carol.
"Mar-Vell... thank you, I'll never forget you." Carol says to Mar-Vell one last time.
"It was an honor, Carol Danvers. Now go!" Mar-Vell stayed behind as he keeps firing off plasma shots.
Carol was forced to leave a dying Mar-Vell behind as he sacrificed himself for her so that she can be free. Carol reached Mar-Vell's ship which is a two seated Kree star fighter. She got inside the cockpit as she's confused as to how to fly it.
"Autopilot engaged! Destination: Terra."
The starship is lifting off as Mar-Vell had already programmed the ship to take Carol home to Earth.
Yon-Rogg arrived at the landing pad as he sees the experiment making an escape in a Kree fighter.
"Stop that ship from escaping!" Yon-Rogg orders the troops.
Mar-Vell picked up a grenade as he arms it, he tossed it with all the strength he's got left in his dying body. Yon-Rogg sees a grenade being tossed towards them.
"Everyone pull back now!" Yon-Rogg orders everyone
Yon-Rogg and the Starforce are pulling back as the grenade landed near some troops, it blew up and killed off some Kree troops.
Carol is still in the ship as she watched the explosion happened, she focused more on Mar-Vell who is looking back at her and smiled as he waved her goodbye, she waved back one last time.
The ship then leaves the city as Mar-Vell watches from the landing pad.
"Goodbye Carol, and good luck." Mar-Vell looking at the sky.
(Space)
The ship left the planet and enters space as the ship is programmed for jump for Earth.
"Approaching jump in 3... 2... 1!"
The ship made the jump through the jump points, the ship left Kree space, Carol is heading back to Earth and is out of danger for now.
(Hala)
Mar-Vell smiled as Carol escaped from Hala, but his smile was cut short as Yon-Rogg walks towards him along with the Starforce.
"You're too late Yon-Rogg, she's already gone." Mar-Vell still laying on the ground.
"Where is she heading?" Yon-Rogg interrogates Mar-Vell.
"Doesn't matter, she's out of your reach." Mar-Vell says to Yon-Rogers.
"She is..." Yon-Rogg pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Mar-Vell. "... but you're not."
Mar-Vell watched as Yon-Rogg pulled the trigger and killed him in an instant.
Back on Earth as it's March 6th, the snow has melted away and things are starting to warm up as the spring season is near.
In Midtown High as school has ended, everyone is walking out including Peter who is now dating Liz Allan for the past weeks since Valentines Day.
Gwen is walking out of class as she sees Peter with Liz, she decided to keep on walking as she couldn't stay and watch. Peter noticed that Gwen is walking away.
"I should get going, need to be working and stuff." Peter says to Liz.
"Okay, see you another time Petey." Liz leaned in a kissed Peter in the lips.
After the kiss Peter followed after Gwen who has been avoiding him these past weeks since Valentines Day.
He ran up to the sidewalk and finally caught up with Gwen Stacy.
"Gwen!" Peter ran up to Gwen calling her name.
"Peter... what do you want?" Gwen kept on walking home.
"I just wanted to see you, we haven't talked much since..." Peter got cut off.
"Since you and Liz first kissed on Valentines Day." Gwen says to Peter.
Peter is surprised that Gwen knows about the kiss that he and Liz shared on Valentines Day.
"You know?" Peter is surprised to hear.
"I was there, I went by your house that day and I saw you two kissing, you didn't even know I was there." Gwen confess to what she saw.
"Gwen... I..." Peter is still working up words to say.
"You know what, it doesn't matter." Gwen says to Peter.
"It does matter Gwen, because I care about you." Peter says to Gwen.
"Peter, I get that I wasn't your first choice, but I'm not going to be your second choice either. Excuse me." Gwen walked away from Peter to be alone.
Peter stayed behind as Gwen wanted some space between them, but he could tell that she's hurt by his relationship with Liz, a part of him is hurt too to see Gwen suffering.
"I'm sorry Gwen." Peter whispered alone.
Sometime later outside of Earth's atmosphere in the cold vacuum of space, a ship made it out of the jump point and enters the Earth's solar system.
The ship is flying itself into Earth's atmosphere as it burns up upon entry.

At S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, Deputy Director Maria Hill and Agent Phil Coulson enters the room as soon as they got the message.
"What do we have?" Maria Hill wants a report.
"We got an unknown bogey is entering Earth's atmosphere, it's heading for New York."
"Where exactly?" Phil Coulson wants answers.
"Based on the trajectory, it's mostly heading for Queens, to Rockaway Beach."
(Queens)
Spider-Man is on a rooftop doing some patrol as he got things on his mind.
"Can't believe that Gwen saw me and Liz kissing, can't imagine how she must be feeling right now. Now Gwen won't even talk to me or speak to me. How could things get any worse?" Spider-Man says in his thoughts.
Spider-Man along with most of Queens are looking up in the sky as something is flying in too close and toward the beach.
"Whoa! What is that? I better check it out!" Spider-Man jumps and swings towards the flying object.
Meanwhile Carol is still inside the cockpit as the ship is closing in on the beach, everyone in the vicinity sees it coming and starting running out of the beach as quickly as they can.
Spider-Man managed to make it to the beach in time but he still too late as the ship came crashing down hard onto the sands. He decided to go in closer for a look.
He made it close as he sees a ship of unknown design before his eyes.
"Whoa! This is new." Spider-Man is still shocked.
Spider-Man explores more of the ship and can feel that it's hot. He took a closer look at the cockpit and sees someone inside it, it looked like a human female dressed in some kind of uniform.
"She looks human." Spider-Man figured her out.
Spider-Man then proceed by opening the cockpit hatch with all his strength, he see an unconscious blonde haired woman.
"Hey! Are you alright?" Spider-Man asking the unconscious woman.
Carol quickly opened her eyes and sees someone she doesn't recognize, she reacted by using her power to fire a photon blast and blasted Spider-Man back as he landed hard on the beach in pain.
"Oww! I take that as a yes." Spider-Man said in pain.
Carol got out of the ship as she stands to see someone in a red and blue suit laying back on the sands. Spider-Man recovered as he stands up to see the woman who just used her powers against him.
"Was that necessary? I was just trying to help you!" Spider-Man says to Carol.
"Who are you?" Carol asking Spider-Man who he is.
"Who am I? You never heard of me, lady?" Spider-Man says to Carol.
"No, should I?" Carol is confused.
"Okay, so who are you?" Spider-Man asking for her name.
Carol is confused. "I don't know who I am?"
Spider-Man can tell that she's just as confused as he is, she really doesn't know anything.
"Okay, I believe you. Maybe I can help you, if you'll let me." Spider-Man offers his help to her.
"How do I know if I can trust you?" Carol still unsure of Spider-Man.
"You don't, but I'm asking to." Spider-Man says to Carol.
"If you want me to trust you, give me a reason to." Carol wants a reason to trust Spider-Man.
Spider-Man did the one thing he reluctantly agreed to, he slowly pulled his mask and show his face to her. Carol is surprised to see the face of a teenager under the mask. He was lucky that the beach was evacuated and there was no one watching them.
"You're just a kid." Carol is surprised.
"Teenager to be precise, but yes." Spider-Man puts his mask back on.
"Okay, I'll trust you." Carol accepted his trust.
They then hear sirens coming in as the authorities will be there any minute.
"We need to go, I have a place where you can lay low until we figure something out." Spider-Man says to Carol.
Later the authorities made it to the crash site but both Spider-Man and Carol are already long gone. The ship is beeping a signal of some kind, like something or someone activated it to send its location.
Meanwhile back on the planet Hala, Ronan the Accuser is disappointed that their prized possession is now long gone thanks to the betrayal of Mar-Vell.
Yon-Rogg, Minn-Erva, and the rest of Starforce appear before him.
"What of the traitor Mar-Vell?" Ronan says to Yon-Rogg.
"Not to worry Ronan, I've already executed him. He won't be a problem anymore." Yon-Rogg assured Ronan.
"That's the least of my worries, our experiment is gone! We haven't even seen if it worked." Ronan isn't too happy.
"It worked Ronan. I've seen it, the woman has great power. The experiment worked." Minn-Erva shared what she seen to Ronan.
"So the experiment was a success after all. Any ideas where she's heading?" Ronan wants information on the experiment.
"The ship she escaped in was one of ours, we remotely activate the beacon and found her location, she's on the planet Terra." Yon-Rogg informs Ronan.
"Good, though I am disappointed that you weren't able to prevent her escape. However, you've proven your loyalty to the Kree by executing the traitor Mar-Vell. You shall assume command of Starforce, Captain Yon-Rogg." Ronan gave Yon-Rogg a promotion and command of Starforce.
"Thank you, Ronan." Yon-Rogg is pleased with Ronan.
"Now lead Starforce to the planet Terra and bring back my experiment." Ronan orders Yon-Rogg.
"I shall leave at once, Ronan." Yon-Rogg accepted the order.
Yon-Rogg now leads Starforce as they leave for the planet Terra to capture Carol Danvers alive.
It's night time back on Earth in Queens as S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel are at true beach securing the crash site, Phil Coulson arrived at the scene to find the spaceship that crashed on the beach. Coulson pulled out his phone and dialed Nick Fury.
"Status Agent Coulson." Nick Fury says to Coulson.
"Director, we secured the crash site and have in possession of the alien craft." Coulson explained the situation to Fury.
"And the pilot?" Nick Fury is curious about the pilot.
"Unknown, the cockpit is empty. If there was a pilot, he or she is around here somewhere." Coulson informs Fury.
"Pack everything up and have the ship relocated to our facility in New Jersey. Keep this whole operation a secret, let no one know about this, is that clear?" Nick Fury orders Coulson.
"Understood Director." Coulson hangs up the phone.
Coulson along with S.H.I.E.L.D. are working on having the ship moved in secret.
At the same time in Forest Hills at the Parker Residence, Carol is eating pizza that Peter ordered for them as Carol felt hungry at an instant. Peter is surprised by how much she's eating like she hasn't eaten in a long time.
"You sure are hungry, like you haven't eaten in awhile." Peter says to Carol.
"It sure feels that way. By the way, thank you for offering me shelter." Carol thanked Peter.
"It's no problem, luckily my Aunt is away to see her relatives. You'll be safe here, I promise." Peter says to Carol.
"Thank you again Spider-Man." Carol says thank you again.
"It's Peter actually, Peter Parker. What's your name?" Peter asking for her name.
"I think that my name is Carol Danvers." Carol is still confused by everything.
"You think?" Peter is confused too.
"It's what the guy who saved me called me. He called me Carol Danvers." Carol explained to Peter.
The door knocked as Peter has an idea who it could be. He got up and walked to the door, he took a peek and opened the door for Mary Jane who came in with a shopping bag.
"Thank you for coming MJ. Did you get what I asked for?" Peter asking Mary Jane.
"Yeah, it think I got everything for your new friend." Mary Jane holds the shopping bag.
"We got you some new clothes." Peter says to Carol.
Carol looked at her own outfit. "What's wrong with the one I'm wearing?"
"Nothing, though it not might be very inconspicuous around here. You'll need to blend in until we figure something out." Peter explained to Carol.
"Okay, I understand. I'm going to go change." Carol stands up and took the shopping bag.
Peter and Mary Jane are both alone as Carol went upstairs to change into normal attire.
"Who is she?" Mary Jane is curious about the new guest.
"It's... complicated." Peter says to Mary Jane.
The phone rang as Peter picked it up and see that Liz Allan is calling him.
"It's Liz, I should take this." Peter answered the call. "Hey Liz!"
"Petey, I was wondering if you're available tonight, we might go out somewhere like on a date or watch a movie, what do you say?" Liz asking Peter out.
"I'd love to Liz, but right now is not a good time. I promise that we'll do something another time once I'm free." Peter says to Liz.
"Oh... okay. It's fine Pete, when you're available let me know and we'll go out." Liz says to Peter.
"I will, I promise." Peter says to Liz.
"Hugs and kisses Petey." Liz says to Peter with affection.
"Right back at ya! Bye Liz." Peter smiled as he hangs up.
Peter puts away the phone as he see Mary Jane give him the look.
"What?" Peter is confused by the look.
"Nothing. So you and Liz, is it serious?" Mary Jane is curious about his relationship with Liz.
"To be honest MJ, it's been great. She's very pretty and has a wonderful personality, we have a lot of fun together dating." Peter described his relationship with Liz.
"I see. What about Gwen? Didn't you have feelings for her too?" Mary Jane says to Peter.
"I still do, but she and I only had a moment that all started since I first saved her from drowning and I had my lips on hers." Peter says to Mary Jane.
"Don't forget that you also had your lips on the Black Cat too." Mary Jane reminded Peter.
"Oh yeah, that too. Black Cat and I only had a brief partnership. With Gwen, we only had a long lasting friendship for years until the day I first saved her life and began to have feelings for her. Then Christmas Eve came and Gwen and I finally kissed each other. More than a month went by since it happened and we never talked about it. I guess in the end that deep down we can only be friends and nothing more." Peter says to Mary Jane.
Peter and Mary Jane finished talking until they hear Carol Danvers coming down wearing a black sleeveless turtleneck top with a yellow lightning bolt in the middle and she also wears blue jeans.
"I hope that you're not bothered by the lightning bolt on the shirt, it's the only thing at the store I could find of your size." Mary Jane says to Carol.
"Don't worry, I like it. Thank you." Carol smiled as she likes the shirt.
"No problem. So your name is Carol Danvers and you don't remember much of anything?" Peter asking Carol some questions.
"No, the man who saved me, Mar-Vell called me Carol Danvers but I don't remember anything about my past life. But he did give me theses." Carol shows them the items that Mar-Vell gave her.
Peter and Mary Jane sees a device of alien design which purpose is unknown, but beside the device is a pair of dog tags that he recognizes, he picked it up to take a closer look.
"These are dog tags." Peter holding the dog tags.
"What are dog tags?" Carol is curious.
"Something someone wears around their necks as identifying tags, mostly military. My uncle used to serve as military police and had these stored away in his trunk. I'm seeing some letters, it reads 'Danvers, Carol S.J., US Air Force', I think that we may have a clue." Peter says to Carol.
Peter grabbed a laptop from his backpack and placed it on the table, he powers it up.
"What are you doing?" Carol is curious.
"Going to use the internet to search for your name to see if there's news reports or if you have an account on social media, hopefully it might tell us more about yourself." Peter says to Carol.
Peter types in 'Carol Danvers, US Air Force' on the search engine, he found some results about news reports from months ago, it has a photo of Carol Danvers.
"I found something. It says here that your full name is Carol Susan Jane Danvers, you're 28 years old and was a rookie pilot in the Air Force." Peter says to Carol.
"So I am Carol Danvers, Mar-Vell was telling the truth." Carol says to Peter.
"According to the article, you were declared dead six months ago when an air base hangar blew up and you were declared missing, presumed dead." Peter says to Carol.
"That still doesn't explain how I ended up on another planet let alone came back to life with powers beyond imagining. All I know is that I used to have a life here on Earth and now I can't even remember anything, my whole life is still blank!" Carol is disappointed that she doesn't remember anything.
"Relax Carol, I'm sure that your memories will return to you in time." Peter says to Carol.
"What if it doesn't? Even if it does, with these new powers, what's my new purpose in life?" Peter says to Carol.
"Whatever or whoever you choose to be will be your choice alone Carol, but with these new powers you can do some real good in your new life." Peter says to Carol.
"Like you have." Carol says to Peter.
"Exactly, when you have a power you have a responsibility to use them for good." Peter says to Carol.
Carol never thought about being a hero before, but with these new powers she now owns, she might put them to great use like Peter has with his.
The next morning as Carol is sleeping on the couch at the Parker Residence, she's shaking as she's having a dream.
(Flashback)
Six months ago
At an air base, Carol is walking down with her fellow pilots as they see NASA bringing something into the hanger, something too secret that security personnel are keeping those who are unauthorized out.
"What do you think they're bringing in?" Lawson says to Carol.
"I don't know, it's all hush-hush." Carol says as she turns around.
Carol meets a man she never seen before in her life, he's wearing an Air Force uniform with the name 'Lawson' on it.
"You're new around here, aren't you? I never seen you around here before." Carol says to Lawson.
"No, I was transferred here. Name's Lawson, Walter Lawson." Lawson introduced himself to Carol as he extended his hand.
"Carol Danvers." Carol introduced herself as she took his hand and shakes it.
(Present)
Carol wakes up as she had a dream but it felt real, like it was a memory. She remembers meeting someone name Lawson in the past, but that person looks exactly like Mar-Vell, the Kree who saved her life by sacrificing his own.
Carol looks around to see that it's morning already as Peter is in the kitchen cooking.
"Morning, Carol. Making some wheatcakes, wants some?" Peter asking Carol.
"Sure." Carol gets up.
Carol is wearing a tank top with sweatpants that she wore when sleeping on the couch.
She sat down in the dining room as Peter brings in a plate of wheatcakes.
"Voila! Hope you like them." Peter gave her wheatcakes.
Carol grabbed a fork and took a chunk of the wheatcakes, she eats it and her eyes widen by the taste.
"How is it?" Peter asking Carol.
"It's good, thank you." Carol says to Peter.
"Sure." Peter says as he sits down and eats his wheatcakes.
"So you're still a teenager in high school and you go out fighting crime and saving lives?" Carol says to Peter.
"Pretty much." Peter says to Carol.
"How does that work?" Carol asking Peter.
"It's not easy but I find a way to make it work. I have all these powers and I use them to help and protect others who needs me." Peter says to Carol.
Peter then finished his breakfast as he picked up the phone and check the time.
"I should get going, I'm going to be late for school. I promise to help you out after school." Peter gets up and grab his backpack.
"Okay, take care." Carol says to Peter.
"Thanks, you too." Peter walks out the door.
Peter left home to head for school as Carol is left behind to stay and think about her new life.
A ship is traveling through jump points as they are close to reaching Earth's solar system, Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce are on a mission to retrieve Carol Danvers.
"How soon can we reach Terra?" Yon-Rogg asking Minn-Erva.
"In a few hours we'll be on Terra." Minn-Evra says to Yon-Rogg.
"Ever been to Terra?" Korath asking Minn-Erva.
"Once. It was a shithole." Minn-Evra described her time on Terra.
"Once we're there, our objective is to retrieve the experiment and kill anyone whom made contact with her, no witnesses." Yon-Rogg tells his team.
Back on Earth at Midtown High, it's break time as Peter is hanging out with his girlfriend Liz Allan. Far from view, Gwen is reading a book until she watched as Liz is getting very comfortable being with Peter. Gwen couldn't help but feel jealous of Liz being brave enough to tell Peter what she felt.
Mary Jane is walking with her boyfriend Harry until she spotted Gwen sitting all alone.
"I'll see you later, Harry." Mary Jane kissed Harry on the cheek.
Mary Jane went to check on Gwen to see how she's holding up. Gwen see Mary Jane standing next to her.
"May I join you?" Mary Jane asking Gwen.
"Sure, sit down." Gwen says to Mary Jane.
Mary Jane sits down with Gwen as they sees Peter and Liz flirting with each other.
"How are you feeling?" Mary Jane asking Gwen.
"I'm fine MJ, really." Gwen says to Mary Jane.
"I've known you for a long time to see that something is bothering you, and that something is Peter dating Liz." Mary Jane figured out what going on with Gwen.
"It doesn't matter, he and I are only friends, nothing more." Gwen says to Peter.
"Gwen, you've known me and know my story, I can tell when someone is in pain and tries to mask that pain by distracting themselves with fun and other stuff. I know that you say that everything is fine, but I could tell that you're suffering." Mary Jane is concerned for Gwen.
Gwen sighed. "You're right, I love him Mary Jane, and I think that I still do... What if I waited too long?"
"Gwen, you and Peter were starting to explore romance and I think that because you two were best friends might've affected your decisions to confess your feelings for one another. I understand perfectly what you're feeling. Me and Harry were best friends for a long time too, but before all that I never considered having a serious relationship with anyone because of..." Mary Jane says to Gwen.
"Because what happened between your parents?" Gwen finished Mary Jane's sentence.
Mary Jane sighed. "Yes, my folk were so young and in love that they've married each other at a young age. They thought that their marriage was a dream but soon it became a nightmare. My dad was having trouble at work and started drinking and becoming verbally abusive towards me and my mom. That's one of the reasons I've never seek out a boyfriend before, I didn't want to go through the same hell that my parents lived through."
"I'm sorry Mary Jane, I truly am. But not everyone is like that, my parents were also deeply in love and their relationship was fine, my dad never regretted marrying my mom, they were happy. Harry is a good guy, he's nothing like your father." Gwen says to Mary Jane.
"You're right, Harry is wonderful, I've never thought that I end up dating my best friend but we did and now we're so happy together. Gwen, I hope that one day you and Peter will find your way towards each other, because you two are definitely made for each other." Mary Jane smiled at Gwen.
Gwen smiled as she likes the idea of her and Peter being a couple, but for now Peter is with Liz, all she can do is be a friend to Peter for now but it won't be easy than before.
Sometime later back at the Parker Residence, Carol is wondering around the house as she finds a basement.
She looks around to find some stuff inside boxes being stored inside. She found something interesting inside one of them, it looked like a pager.
She then looked at the next box and found a family portrait of Peter as a young boy with his parents Richard and Mary.
Carol then starts to remember part of her past as soon as she saw the picture.

A ten year old Carol Danvers is out with her older brother Steve, it's night time as their father is grilling. Carol is wearing a bowl around her head pretending to be an astronaut.
"So what's next for astronaut Carol Danvers?" Steve Danvers says to Carol.
"Now we fly to the moon and see the stars." Carol says playing astronaut.
"Give me a break, like that's ever possible." Joe Danvers says to them.
"Dad, can you like not be so negative all the time." Steve standing up for his sister.
"I'm not being negative, I'm just being realistic. Carol is a female, she should stick to being a girl instead of acting like a boy. When shes all grown up, she should seek out a man to marry and fulfill her duties as a housewife." Joe says what he had to say concerning Carol.
Carol has a difficult relationship with her own father who believes that a woman will never amount to anything than just being a wife to a man.

Eighteen year old Carol Danvers is packing up her stuff as she finally graduated high school and enlisted into the Air Force.
She walked out with her backpack as her father is downstairs waiting for her to leave the house, though not too happy.
"So you're finally do it, aren't you?" Joe says to his daughter.
"That's right dad. I'm joining the Air Force to pursue my dreams, it's time that I finally take control of my life." Carol is walking out the door.
"By all mean Carol, let's see how long that'll last. I'll give it a month or even a year, you'll see that you're wrong and you'll be back." Joe says to Carol.
"Don't hold your breath." Carol says to her dad.
Joe stayed behind as he watched his daughter leaving home, Steve followed after her before she's gone for good.
"Carol!" Steve Danvers catches up to Carol.
"Steve, I'm sorry but I need to go and live my life." Carol says to her brother.
"I know, I want you to. Listen to me Carol, I'm proud of the decision you've made. You have a chance to prove to everyone that you're more than just a woman, that you're a great person who decided to pursue your dreams no matter what anyone says. No matter what happens, you'll always be my sister, I love you Carol." Steve Danvers hugs his sister.
"I love you too Big Brother, I'll miss you." Carol hugs her brother.

Carol is remembering parts of her past, she remembers having a close relationship with her older brother Steve, but her relationship with her father is strained because he never have faith in her because she's a woman. Her older brother has been very supportive of Carol and her decision to join the Air Force.
Peter returned home after school to check on Carol and finds her in the living room as she's sitting on the couch, being all quiet.
"Carol, what's wrong?" Peter asking Carol.
"I'm remembering things." Carol says to Peter.
"Remembering? Like what?" Peter is curious.
"I remember my life here on Earth, I was born and raised in Boston, me and my brother were close growing up, my dad not so much. I left home and joined the Air Force at a young age." Carol described what she remembered.
"Anything else?" Peter says to Carol.
"No, my mind is still messed up, I'm only remembering parts of my life, but not all of it." Carol says to Peter.
"Well, if you're remembering things, that must be a good sign. It means that your memories are returning." Peter says to Carol.
"Except for the memories of how I ended up like this." Carol says to Peter.
"That alien device that Mar-Vell gave you, maybe it might hold the answers you seek." Peter suggested to Carol.
Carol pulled out the device that Mar-Vell gave her before she left him on Hala.
"I wonder how it works." Carol is tinkering with the device.
She activated it and it shows a image of Mar-Vell before their eyes.
"Carol Danvers, if you're watching this, then it means that I'm dead. I'm sure that you must have a lot of questions to ask, and I have the answers. I first met you on Earth when I was on an undercover mission to retrieve the container that was carrying the power cosmic, the rarest power in the universe. I was supposed to get it until you came by accident and members of Starforce saw you as a threat to the mission. They opened fire on you but ended up damaging the container, causing a chain reaction that caused it to blow up. You were caught up so close to the power cosmic and ended up taking in too much of the power. It was a miracle that you were able to survive from such a power surge but you were still dying and I made a decision to save you life. I had to take you away from your home world to save you, I used a blood transfusion from my body to keep you alive. My blood and the cosmic energy flowing through you mutated your body, you are now a hybrid of both Human and Kree. We were successful in keeping you alive, but Ronan had other plans for you, he saw the enormous power flowing through your body. He wanted to use you as a weapon for the Kree cause and I ended up give you to him to be used as an experiment. I couldn't allow this to go on for so long that I made the choice of freeing your from their confinement. Carol, I am sorry that I took you away from your life, I hope that in time you'll come to forgive me for everything. If you succeed in getting your life and your freedom, then what you do with your new gifts is your choice, and your choice alone. My hope for you is that your are free to find your own destiny in life. Goodbye Carol Danvers, it's been an honor meeting you." Mar-Vell's messages ended.
Peter and Carol are both shocked to find out what and how everything happened.
Carol then left to the backyard as more of her memories are coming back to here, she remembers the day it all happened.

Six months ago, on the same night, Carol woke up as she got curious about the top secret project that the Air Force and NASA wants to keep classified.
Carol went outside to walk to the hangar until she noticed the lights where on inside as the place isn't supposed to be active at night, she got in close and found two guards unconscious.
She became cautious as something strange is going on here, she pulled out her gun and went inside to investigate this matter.
She got inside to find some kind of container that NASA brought in from their mission in space, it looks like it contains some kind of energy of unknown origins. But what caught her attention are the blue skinned individuals dressed in some kind of uniform, but the biggest surprise was someone she recognized, it's Lawson dressed in the same uniform.
"Have it ready to be taken to Hala." Mar-Vell says to Starforce.
"At once Captain Mar-Vell." Yon-Rogers complied with the order.
Carol came out and showed herself, pointing the gun at them.
"Stop right there! All of you!" Carol aiming the gun.
Starforce reacted by drawing out their blasters and aimed them at Carol, Mae-Vell is shocked to find Carol here.
"Stand down!" Mar-Vell orders Starforce.
"Sorry Captain Mar-Vell, we can't have any witnesses." Yon-Rogg refused to lower the blaster.
"Mar-Vell? You're one of them?" Carol is confused.
"Carol, please put your weapon down." Mar-Vell pleaded with Carol.
"I'm sorry but I can't let any of you take that thing." Carol refused to back down.
"Then you'll die!" Minn-Erva raised her rifle.
"No!!!" Mar-Vell yelled out.
Minn-Erva fired her blaster as did the rest of Starforce, Carol was able to find cover near the cosmic container.
"Ceasefire! Don't hit the container or it'll react!" Mar-Vell says to Starforce.
Some of Starforce kept on firing at Carol until she returned fire and shot on of the Kree, causing him to misfire and accidentally hit the container.
Everyone stopped shooting as they see the container is glowing as the plasma blast caused a chain reaction. The power cosmic is growing at exponentially rate as the container can't hold it in. Carol is shocked as she is too close to the power cosmic.
The container blew up and causing a shockwave throughout the hangar, Carol is too close as the power cosmic is surging through her, she's taking in too much power inside her body.
The whole Air Base is on alert as the hangar is blown up, all the soldiers mobilized to the hangar as quickly as they can.
Meanwhile Mar-Vell and the rest of Starforce quickly recovered themselves from the accident, they see the container is destroyed and the power cosmic is gone. Mar-Vell looked around and found Carol Danvers unconscious and in pain from the accident.
"Carol, are you alright?" Mar-Vell asking Carol.
Mar-Vell could see the comic energy surging through her, but it's also killing her as she's dying. Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce see the woman is still alive but dying.
"It's a miracle that she survived, though not for long." Yon-Rogg points his blaster at a dying Carol.
"No!!!" Mar-Vell stops Yon-Rogg.
Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce is confused as to why Mar-Vell doesn't want the woman dead.
"We're taking her with us to Hala." Mar-Vell says to Starforce.
"To our home world? Have you lost your mind, Captain Mar-Vell?" Yon-Rogg doesn't like the idea.
"Are you questioning my orders, Lieutenant Yon-Rogg?" Mar-Vell says to Yon-Rogg.
Yon-Rogers still doesn't like the idea Mar-Vell suggested, but he knows better than to go against his commanding officer. Mar-Vell and the rest of Starforce hears sirens coming in closer, the humans are on their way. Mar-Vell picked up Carol Danvers in his arms and carries her.
"It's time to go." Mar-Vell says to Starforce.
Mar-Vell and Starforce left the area with an unconscious Carol Danvers as they reached their ship. The Air Force arrived to see an unidentified flying object leaving the area and flying so fast out of the Air Base. Mar-Vell is giving a blood transfusion to keep Carol Danvers alive during the journey to Hala.

Carol remembers how everything happened to her that day, Peter came out to the backyard to check on Carol who is still silent from remembering that day.
"Carol?" Peter calling to Carol.
"He saved me." Carol spoke to Peter.
"Who? Mar-Vell?" Peter says to Carol.
"He saved my life that day, I was caught in the explosion and the power was absorbed into me, I was so close to dying and Mar-Vell made the choice to save my life." Carol says to Peter.
"Sounds like he was your hero." Peter says to Carol.
"He was, he risked his own life to give me back my freedom. Now that I have these powers, I must put them to good use, like you have." Carol made a choice.
"Sounds like you made up your mind. If you want, I can help you." Peter offer his help to Carol.
"How?" Carol says to Peter.
"I know a place that might be suited for such a thing." Peter has an idea.
Carol is confused as to what Peter mean by helping her.
Sometime later, the Kree ship came out of the jump point and finally arrived in Earth's orbit.
"Finally, we've reached Terra, it's been months since our last visit. Have you located the fighter she used?" Yon-Rogg asking Minn-Erva.
"Yes, the beacon is still active." Minn-Evra says to Yon-Rogg.
"Good, then let's go fetch our prize." Yon-Rogg says to Minn-Erva.
(On Earth)
At Rockaway Beach, Phil Coulson is supervising the operation of having the Kree ship being moved to the secret facility in New Jersey. He watches as the crane is lifting the ship onto the back of the trailer for transport.
There are reporter outside the barrier as the police are doing their best to keep the press out and any eyes away from the site.
Coulson's phone rang as it's Nick Fury calling, he answered.
"Director Fury, the operation is on schedule." Phil Coulson informs Nick Fury.
"Good, let's not waste time. Have it moved as soon as possible." Nick Fury tells Coulson.
"Understood." Coulson hangs up the phone.
Everyone including Coulson then hears something coming from the sky as they look up and sees something come out of the clouds, it's another alien ship like the one they've taken possession of.
"What the hell?" Phil Coulson is shocked.
The Kree ship landed on the beach as everyone in the vicinity is shocked to find another ship. The hatch door is opening as a team of blue skinned aliens came out and showed themselves to them, one of them seem normal skinned.
Coulson steps forward with a megaphone as the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents have their weapons ready if necessary.
Coulson holds up the megaphone. "Whoever you are, identify yourselves!"
"Who we are doesn't matter. What matters is that your planet has something of ours, we'd like it back." Yon-Rogg says to Coulson.
"We don't know what you're talking about! Be more specific!" Coulson says to Yon-Rogg.
"There's a woman here on your planet that escaped from us using that very ship you're taking." Yon-Rogg points at the confiscated ship.
Coulson figures that they're looking for the pilot of the ship but even he doesn't know where this woman is.
"We'll make this simple, surrender her to us and we'll leave your planet in peace. If you refuse, then we'll have no choice to stay and kill until we find here. Choose wisely." Yon-Rogg makes his demands.
"I'm afraid we'll have to go with the third opinion, taking you down." Coulson pulled out his gun.
The rest of S.H.I.E.L.D. raised their weapons against the Kree as Yon-Rogg and Starforce have no choice but to fight.
"Very well then." Yon-Rogg activated his Magnitron Gauntlets.
The gauntlets raised some agents up in the air as Yon-Rogg tossed them away. Coulson and the rest of the agents are shocked by their capabilities.
"Open fire!" Coulson ordered the agents.
All the agents opened fire until Yon-Rogg used the gauntlets to create a barrier to shield himself and his team from their bullets.
"Minn-Erva, return fire!" Yon-Rogg kept shielding them.
Minn-Erva raised her sniper rifle and fires off a plasma bolt, killing off a few agents as the press is watching and recording the event happening.
Somewhere else in Queens, Peter and Carol are at the abandoned warehouse where Peter was trained by Julia before becoming Spider-Man. Peter is dressed as Spider-Man and Carol is wearing the Starforce uniform for training.
"So what are we doing here?" Carol is curious.
"We're gonna test out your powers and to see how much control you have over them. See those crates over there." Peter points at the crates.
"Yeah, I see them." Carol has the crates in her sights.
"Use your powers to blast them." Peter asking Carol.
"Okay, here goes." Carol raised her fist in sight of the crates.
She has her fist aimed at the crates, she tries to unleash a blast of energy but nothing.
"Anytime when you're ready." Peter is still waiting and watching.
"I'm trying." Carol is having trouble using her powers.
Carol then thrust her fist hoping that something will happen but nothing.
"This isn't working." Carol is frustrated.
"It's okay, you're still new to this. These powers are a part of you now, you'll just have to learn to control them and you'll get the hang of it in no time." Peter says with encouragement.
"Like riding a bike." Carol says to Peter.
"Exactly." Peter says to Carol.
"Okay... though I had trouble riding a bike as a little girl." Carol admits to Peter.
"That's okay, I had same trouble too." Peter admits it to Carol.
Carol smiled as she still focuses on the crates, she then tries to remember what how her powers were used, she remembers back when Mar-Vell was shot and injured by Minn-Erva, then the first time she woke up on her return to Earth and accidentally blasted Peter with her powers.
Carol uses the emotions she felt in those moments as her fist is glowing and cosmic energy is being channeled through her, Peter is seeing it with his eyes.
"Carol, you're doing it!" Peter smiled as he witnessed her powers.
Carol opens her eyes and sees that she's doing it, her powers are working, she smiles as she stays focused. She unleashed a blast of energy at the crates and blew them up.
"Whoa! Did you see that?" Carol smiled in excitement.
"Yeah, I saw it!" Peter smiled too.
She then realized that her powers doesn't just extends to her hands, but to her whole body as she focused the energy around her body and started to charge up more power, she then focuses on her feet and hands as she's slowly lifting off the ground, Peter became more surprised that she can fly also.
"Carol, you're floating!" Peter is shocked.
Carol looked down to see that her feet are off the ground and she's hovering in the air.
"This is amazing!" Carol smiled in excitement.
She focuses more on controlling more of her flight powers, she flies around the warehouse as she getting the hang of it.
"Check me out! I can fly!" Carol is flying around.
"Wow! You can fly!" Peter is watching her fly.
Carol is overdoing it with her flight as she crashed against the barrels and Peter watched. He went to check on her and sees her on the ground.
"Carol, are you alright?" Peter is worried for Carol.
"Yeah, just need to work on the brakes." Carol rubbing the back of her head.
Peter offer her his hand as she took it, he pulled her up on her feet.
"Gotta say, you certainly are getting the hang of things. But with time and practice, you'll do better." Peter says to Carol.
"Thanks." Carol says to Peter.
Peter's phone rang as he picked it up, it's Mary Jane calling him.
"It's MJ." Peter answered the call. "Hey MJ, what's going on?"
"Peter, have you seen the news?" Mary Jane says to Peter.
"What news?" Peter is curious.
"Something is happening at Rockaway Beach, check the news." Mary Jane informs Peter.
Peter hangs up as he accessed recent news on Rockaway and found one live.
"We are here at the site of the crash as police and federal officials are holding down the line as a group of extraterrestrials are wrecking havoc, we are showing footages of the incident happening right now!"
Peter and Carol are watching the events that are happening, they see extraterrestrials armed with advanced weaponry and dressed in a uniform identical to Carol's. Carol is shocked to see them again, it's the Kree from Hala.
"Oh no, it's them. They must've found me here." Carol says to Peter.
"Hold on, these are the guys who held you as their prisoner?" Peter says to Carol.
"The very same, the ones that Mar-Vell saved me from. Looks like they've come for me and they'll kill anyone until they have me." Carol says to Peter.
"That's not going to happen, because I'm going to stop them." Peter says to Carol.
"Peter, you can't, they're dangerous." Carol says to Peter.
"I've faced foes like these in the past that were just as dangerous and I've managed to stop them. I'm going Carol, it's my responsibility." Peter isn't backing down.
"In that case, I'm going too." Carol is coming with Peter.
"Carol..." Peter says to Carol.
"Peter, I can't just sit back and do nothing. That's not who I am, like you I was given these powers for a reason, and I'm going to use them to help you." Carol is being more serious than ever.
"If you gonna fight, then you'll need to show everyone that you're on their side." Peter looking at her uniform.
Carol realize that her uniform is the same color as the Kree, people might end up mistaken her as an enemy.
"Oh right! Can't have everyone thinking I'm the enemy. No problem, I was able to find another feature of this suit, it can change colors." Carol says to Peter.
Carol hold up her left wrist and activated the feature of her suit, she uses it or change colors, it became red and gold.
"Cool, though no." Peter says to Carol.
Carol changes again and her suit turns black and gold.
"Nope." Peter says to Carol.
Carol changes it to white and green.
"No way." Peter says to Carol.
"Well, since we're on the same team." Carol has an idea.
Carol looks at Peter's costume, it's red and blue. She decided to use red and blue as her colors, the top part is red along with boots, gloves, the star and stripes, the rest of the suit is blue.
"Nice, though you might want to add another color to your star and stripes." Peter suggested to Carol.
Carol has the perfect color for them, she add gold to the star and stripes. Her suit is now a combination of red, blue, and gold.
"How do I look?" Carol says to Peter.
"Fresh." Peter smiled as he likes the new look.
Peter and Carol high five each other.
"By the way, you got a code name to go with that outfit?" Peter is wondering if she's got a code name.
Carol is thinking of one that is best suited for a hero, then see remembers her hero Mar-Vell who sacrificed himself for her, she thought up a perfect name to honor him.
"I do actually, call me... Captain Marvel." Carol is Captain Marvel.
"Captain Marvel, like Mar-Vell. It's perfect." Peter puts on his mask and becomes Spider-Man.
"So shall we get going Spider-Man?" Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
"With pleasure, Captain Marvel." Spider-Man says to Captain Marvel.
Spider-Man and Captain Marvel team up for the first time as they go to stop the Kree and save lives.
Captain Marvel uses her powers of flight to fly her and Spider-Man to the scene to stop the Kree.
Back in Rockaway Beach, Coulson and S.H.I.E.L.D. are getting thrashed along with the NYPD as the Starforce are formidable foes. Coulson is hiding behind the wreckage as a number of lives are dying.
"Pull back everyone!" Coulson tells everyone.
Everyone is starting to pull back away from the fight as the Kree is too much for them.
Yon-Rogg sees Coulson hiding behind the wrecked car, he uses his gauntlets to lift the car up in the air. Coulson watched as the car is hovering above him.
"Say goodbye." Yon-Rogg is about to kill Coulson:
The car came slamming down until Spider-Man used his web line to pull Coulson from being crushed. Coulson sees Spider-Man just saved his life from Yon-Rogg.
"Spider-Man, you're just in time." Coulson is grateful to Spider-Man.
"Glad that I could help, now go. I'll handle this." Spider-Man says to Coulson.
Coulson leaves the area along with the police and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents. Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce are facing a native being with extraordinary abilities. Spider-Man sees the Kree species, one of them is like pink skinned and the rest are blue skinned.
"So what is this, the invasion of the smurfs? If you're looking for E.T., I'm afraid he's already gone home." Spider-Man jokes at the Kree.
"Whoever you are, you made a grave mistake of coming here and facing all of Starforce alone." Yon-Rogg says to Spider-Man.
"I'm not alone." Spider-Man says to Yon-Rogg.
Yon-Rogg and Starforce sees someone flying towards them, it's a blonde woman dressed in Starforce uniform. Captain Marvel landed next to Spider-Man are the two are facing the Kree. Everyone nearby witnessed a new hero coming to the scene, a woman using a red helmet to hide her identity but the Kree recognized her as the experiment that escaped.
"So you've finally came to us, after all." Yon-Rogg says to Captain Marvel.
"You're not taking me back, I'm here to stop you. I'm giving you the chance to leave this planet." Captain Marvel says to Yon-Rogg.
"We've travelled a long way across the galaxy to find you and we will not leave empty handed." Yon-Rogg refused to leave.
"Then I guess we'll force you to leave then." Spider-Man says to Yon-Rogg.
"So be it, kill them both!" Yon-Rogg orders Starforce.
Spider-Man and Captain Marvel are both now engaging in combat against Starforce. Spider-Man faces off against both Korath and Art-Lass as the latter is firing off his pistols but Spider-Man's reflexes make him too fast to hit.
Captain Marvel is facing Bron-Char in a fist fight, the Kree tries to land a punch on her but she's uses her training in boxing as she bobs and weaves everyone of his fists.
"Stay still!" Bron-Char keep punching.
Captain Marvel caught his fist as Bron-Char is surprised how strong she is, he's one of the strongest of his species and yet she caught it and holds it with all her strength. Captain Marvel strikes back with a strong punch and hits him.
Spider-Man webbed up both of Art-Lass's pistols as Korath dual wields his energy swords, he swings his blades against Spider-Man but Spidey was able to dodge every one of his cuts. He counters by webbing his legs and pulled them, causing him to fall down. He webs both Korath and Art-Lass, trapping them.
"There, that should do it." Spider-Man says to himself.
His spider sense tingle as he jump up and dodged a plasma bolt, he sees a blue skinned woman with a sniper rifle.
Captain Marvel and Yon-Rogg are left to fight one another. Yon-Rogg sees the modifications she made to the suit.
"Too bad that you're not one of us. Your powers could've been a great asset to the Kree Empire." Yon-Rogg says to Captain Marvel.
"You took away my life, tried to make me your weapon." Captain Marvel says to Yon-Rogg.
"We nearly succeeded but Mar-Vell and his noble code of honor ruined everything. But at least he paid for it with his life." Yon-Rogg says proudly of what he did.
"What did you say?" Captain Marvel is shocked to hear those words.
"You heard me. I did it, I killed Mar-Vell." Yon-Rogg confessed what he had done.
"Then I will avenge his death." Captain Marvel says to Yon-Rogg.
Yon-Rogg uses the gauntlets to pick up the debris and tossed them at Captain Marvel but she blasted them away with her powers.
Minn-Erva keep firing off her rifle as Spider-Man is too quick to be hit by a plasma shot.
"You missed!" Spider-Man taunts Minn-Erva.
"I never miss, stay still!" Minn-Erva is feeling annoyed.
She fire a plasma shot but Spider-Man jump over it and counters with a webbing to her face, Minn-Erva got blinded by the webbing. She quickly removes the webs as she sees again, Spider-Man strikes with a meia lua de compassion kick, he hit his target and knocked her out cold.
Spider-Man then see Captain Marvel fighting Yon-Rogg. Yon-Rogg uses the gauntlets to collect the debris and trapping Captain Marvel inside, she's having trouble breaking out.
"I was ordered to bring you in alive, but I'm sure that they'll study your corpse to see what makes you tick." Yon-Rogg says to Captain Marvel.
Spider-Man ran and jumped up as he strikes with a drop kick on Yon-Rogg, Spidey lands in a three point stance. Yon-Rogg stands back up as Spider-Man is the one who strike him.
"You've interfered in our affairs for the last time." Yon-Rogg says to Spider-Man.
Yon-Rogg used one of the gauntlets to pick Spider-Man off the ground and hold him in the air, he then uses the other to pick up some debris to trap Spider-Man inside.
"This will be the last time you get in our way." Yon-Rogg says to Spider-Man.
Yon-Rogg finishes off by tossing a trapped Spider-Man far out at the ocean as Captain Marvel watched. Spider-Man hit the water as he is sinking while trapped, he's still having trouble breaking out.
Captain Marvel couldn't stand to lose another one because of her as she uses all her powers to charge up. Yon-Rogg witnessed Captain Marvel glowing as she charging up. Captain Marvel unleashed all her power to break free from the debris.
Yon-Rogg tries to counters by using his gauntlets to fight back but Captain Marvel flew in too fast as she caught both his gauntlets, she proceeded to crush them, taking away his weapons. Yon-Rogg is feeling the pain from her hands crushing his wrists.
"You took Mar-Vell from me, you'll never take another one, not this time!" Captain Marvel says to Yon-Rogg.
Captain Marvel strikes with a strong head butt to the head, knocking him out cold. Yon-Rogg and the rest of Starforce has been defeated. Captain Marvel wants to finish off Yon-Rogg for Mar-Vell but she remembers that Spider-Man is still drowning in the ocean and needs to be saved. She needs to make a choice, avenge Mar-Vell or save Spider-Man from death.
Captain Marvel then flies off to the sea as Spider-Man is still drowning underwater. She dives down underwater and uses her powers to shine a light to see. She looks around and still sees nothing.
Spider-Man is still trapped by the debris as he's soon to be out of oxygen, he's using all his strength to break out but he's slowly starting to lose consciousness.
Captain Marvel kept on looking as she sees someone drowning in the debris, it's Spider-Man. Spidey sees a shining light coming towards him, it's Captain Marvel coming to his rescue.
She began to strip away the debris that's trapping him one by one. She succeeded in freeing him as she took into her arms, she uses her powers to boost herself out of the water as quickly as she can.
Captain Marvel managed to make it out of the water as she carries Spider-Man in her arms, she's flying them both to the beach.
Minn-Erva looks around to find members of Starforce neutralized, she sees Captain Marvel coming back with Spider-Man. She realizes that they're fighting a losing battle.
"Get everyone back onto the ship, we're leaving! The mission is cancelled." Minn-Erva orders Starforce.
Minn-Erva and Starforce started to pull out with an unconscious Yon-Rogg. They all made it to their ship and began for lift off.
Captain Marvel made it to the beach with Spider-Man in her arms, they see the Kree ship is lifting off and flying out of the planet. She lost her chance to avenge Mar-Vell but she didn't regret saving Spider-Man from death.
"They're leaving." Spider-Man says to Captain Marvel.
"Let them go, I'll deal with them another time." Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
They watched as the ship is already gone and the threat has ended. She lower Spider-Man as he stands on his two feet.
"So how are you feeling?" Captain Marvel asking Spider-Man.
"Like I finally know what it's like to be saved from drowning." Spider-Man remembers saving Gwen from drowning.
"You're welcome, by the way." Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
Captain Marvel and Spider-Man are being joined by a group of people and press that were able to witness them fighting the invaders and defeating them. Among the crowd is a girl that sees a female superhero here in the flesh.
"Who are you?"
Captain Marvel is hesitant to speak but Spider-Man gave her the look and encouraged her.
"I'm Captain Marvel." Captain introduced herself.
As the crowd are glad that Spider-Man and Captain Marvel saved the day. Coulson is on the phone talking with Fury about recent events.
"Yes sir, the threat has been neutralized. Thanks to Spider-Man and Captain Marvel." Coulson informs Fury.
"Good, looks like we got another hero in our midst. Given what the world is facing, we'll need more heroes than ever. Make sure to secure the scene, recover as much as you can and have them transferred to the New Jersey facility." Fury orders Coulson.
"Understood Director Fury." Coulson hangs up.
Coulson puts away the phone as he watches as Spider-Man and Captain Marvel are greeted by the crowd. The world is filling up with heroes such as Spider-Man and Iron Man, after what happened today the world will need more heroes to fight the battle that not everyone can not.
Meanwhile in space, Starforce is still recovering from their failed mission as Minn-Erva is contacting Ronan and he appears in the hologram.
"Report." Ronan demands an update.
"Ronan, we have failed, the experiment is too powerful for us to retrieve. We were forced to pull out." Minn-Erva informs Ronan.
"I see. Return to Hala immediately, I want to hear more about it in person." Ronan orders Minn-Erva.
"Yes Ronan, we're heading back now." Minn-Erva ends transmission.
The Kree ship made the jump point and finally left the solar system.
It's nighttime in the city as Spider-Man and Captain Marvel are eating hot dogs on the rooftop after a day of fighting the Kree.
"Mmm, one of the things I missed of home." Captain Marvel is eating.
"Yeah, guess all the fighting works up an appetite." Spider-Man is eating too.
"I wish I could stay here but I can't." Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
"Carol?" Spider-Man is confused.
"I need to leave Earth for a time and fulfill my new purpose in life. There's an entire universe out there and it'll need someone looking out and helping those who need it." Captain Marvel explains to Spider-Man.
"It's too bad, we made quite the team. But I understand, we have a responsibility to use our gifts for good." Spider-Man says to Captain Marvel.
"Thank you Peter, for helping me remember who I am and for giving me a new purpose, be a hero." Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
"It's been a privilege Carol." Spider-Man says to Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel pulled something out from her pocket and hands it to Spider-Man.
"I found this in your basement and did some modifications to it, in case you need my help, I'll be there." Captain Marvel hands him a pager.
"Huh, they used have these things called pagers, from a long lost era from the past." Spider-Man says with humor.
"The 1980s." Captain Marvel corrects him.
"A long lost era from the past." Spider-Man repeats it again.
Captain Marvel smiled. "Yeah, I guess this is where we part ways."
Captain Marvel extends her hand to Spider-Man, he took it and they shake.
"Goodbye Peter, I hope that we team up again soon." Captain Marvel says to Spider-Man.
"Hope so too, good luck Carol. Till next time." Spider-Man says to Captain Marvel.
Captain Marvel then hovers above as she looks at Spider-Man before she leaves. She turns around and flies up as Spider-Man looks up and watches her fly far up into space.
Above Earth's atmosphere, Captain Marvel took one last look at the Earth before see made the jump into space.
At the Triskelion, Nick Fury is in his office as Coulson just returned from the New Jersey facility.
"Sir, the ship and all the evidence from the scene are safely locked away at the facility." Coulson informs Fury.
"Good, anything else?" Nick Fury is still busy.
"No sir. That'll be all." Coulson said before he walks out.
Nick Fury gathered his secret files on certain individuals, such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, and the recently added Captain Marvel. He's taken an interest in these heroes given the changes the world is in. It'll need more heroes fighting the battles that no else can fight.
