Roxy and Austin left the daycare and they went to the left side of the daycare doors. Roxy saw some stairs and began to walk up, Austin following beside her. Roxy went left where their is some party rooms, Austin could tell by the windows as he was walking past them. They both didn't say anything for a minute, before Roxanne broke the silence.
"So, did you find any clues of where the other kid is?" Roxanne asked Austin.
"Well I didn't know where the daycare was, but I met Chica and she helped me out."
"Wait, you did what?!"
"Uh, yeah. You didn't tell me where the daycare was. I would've been in the lobby if Chica haven't helped me."
"Why didn't you ask me for directions?"
"You said you would be busy, I didn't want to bother you. I also forgot about my fazwatch." Austin scratched the back of his head embarrassedly.
"Whatever, but next time, use your fazwatch and I'll come to you for help."
"Okay, I'll use it next time Roxy."
"Good, now did you get the information I need at the Daycare with Sundrop?"
"I think so? Sundrop didn't tell me his name, but he was banned from the daycare when he turned off the lights. Though, Chica did say a name that she mistook me for." Austin replied.
"A name you say? What did she say?"
"She said something like, Gregory? Im pretty sure.
"Gregory huh? That's something I guess. I was their at the door when Sundrop alerted us, but I didn't see him, I'll only saw Chica, Monty and surprisingly, Freddy too."
"Freddy? Who's Freddy?"
"Wait, you don't know who Freddy is?"
Austin looked at her with crossed arms.
"Oh right, no memories. Well, he is the leader of the band, and the main mascot of the Pizzaplex. You can't go two seconds without seeing a plushie or a poster of him. I would say he is more friendly to the kids than any of us. Don't get us wrong, we love the kids too, but I don't like getting touched by them or be near them sometimes, Chica is pretty good with them, as long as she's not eating trash near them and Monty... well, he can sometimes get... hostile when he's in a bad mood."
"Ah, well you seem comfortable when you carried me when I was injured."
"That's because you were injured, I couldn't leave you their, though I could've, but something in my program wanted it to help you and usually I ignore those programs, but this one I couldn't resist."
"Aww, that means you care." Austin smiled.
"I guess, but now it comes with my own benefits, you helping me find the kid before the others." Roxanne said proudly.
Well that didn't last long, but she didn't deny it, so I guess that counts in my book.
"Anyways, I'm surprised he was up and about after... his accident." Roxanne said sadly.
"What happened to him?" Austin asked curiously.
"He shut down during our concert. We were concerned about him, but Monty got a bit angry because we had to cancel the concert."
Just then, Austin stopped walking and he had a sudden vision of the concert Roxy was talking about. He saw Freddy glitching out and collapsing on the floor on a big stage. As Austin saw Freddy on the ground, he saw a girl behind him, putting a hand on his shoulder. He looked at her and saw a blonde girl, but suddenly she turned into a bunny lady and back to the blonde girl.
"Hey kid, are you okay?" Roxanne said, slightly concerned.
Austin flinched and snapped out of his vision.
"I think I was their when Freddy collapsed. As he collapsed, a blonde girl put a hand on my shoulder, but then turned to a bunny. It was like a costume she was wearing. Do you by any chance, seen a blonde girl here?"
"Well a lot of blonde girls come by here all the time, but Vanessa is blonde. Maybe that's what you saw. But wearing a bunny costume? I don't think she would do something like that."
"Have you seen any bunnies here?"
"No, their hasn't been any bunnies here, at least... not anymore." Roxy said in a sad tone.
"Oh, it's fine if you don't want to tell me. From the way your tone is, it sounded like a friend of yours?"
"Yeah... he was everyone's friend, but he's been gone for a while now and I'm not sure he's ever coming back again."
"I'm sure he will one day." Austin tried to reassure her.
"Thanks kid, but I don't think that's the case. Anyways, we should keep going and find this kid already," Roxanne proceed to walk to the entrance/ exit of the daycare. "We should head to the Atrium, if Freddy is up and about, he could be helping the kid. I won't be surprised if they went to the Atrium. Come on kid, let's go."
"Right behind you Roxy."
The door opened upwards and they went into the daycare lobby. Roxanne looked at the recharge station and back to Austin.
"Hey Auzzy, I'm going to that recharge station really quick, I've wasted my energy trying to look for the kid and I need a quick charge." Roxanne said to Austin.
"Okay Roxy, I'll wait for you then." Austin replied.
Roxanne nodded and walked to the recharge station. The door to the recharge station opened upwards and Roxanne went inside. The door closed and started to make a humming sound. Austin walked over to a bench near the recharge station and sat down. He checked his fazwatch to check the time.
1:00 am. Just five more hours and I can get out of here. But why do I want to leave this place anyways? Do I have somewhere to be? If I have parents, are they worried about where I am? Maybe I can get answers when 6:00 am comes.
His thoughts were interrupted when the recharge station opened and Roxanne stepped out.
"Well kid, I feel energized now, let's get going."
Austin nodded and got up from the bench. The two went to the doors that Austin came in earlier and opened them.
"Alright, the way to the atrium is through the elevators," Roxanne said as she pointed to the elevators. "Luckily, we animatronics can access everything to the Mega Pizzaplex, so we will be able to get to the Atrium faster."
Roxanne walked to the elevator, the elevator opened up and the two went in. Roxanne pushed the bear like button and the door closed on them and began to go up. Their were a long silence, except for some elevator music playing. Roxanne finally broke and silence as she looked at Austin.
"So kid, when 6:00 am comes, are you going to be excited to be reunited with your parents?" Roxanne asked Austin.
"Huh? Oh, yeah... I guess." Austin said with uncertainty.
"You guess? What, you don't like your parents or something?"
"I don't know. I'm not sure if I even have parents to begin with Roxy. I had these visions where I was little and what looked like a girl, took me in or something. I also saw a vision of other kids playing, drawing and reading while I was with Sundrop."
"I'm sure you were at kindergarten or something. Besides, every human have parents until they die."
"Yeah... I guess we do."
Roxanne looked at him with concern, but she shook it off, trying to play it cool, to not show any weakness. The rest of the elevator ride they remained silent. Soon the elevator stopped and a dinging sound played. Roxanne left the elevator, Austin following along. As Austin walked out of the elevator, he was greeted by a robot holding a map. It appeared out of nowhere and was right up Austin's face.
"Hi, please take this map." The robot holding the map said, sounding female.
Austin hesitated, looking at Roxanne with an nervous look.
"Take a map." The robot said.
Roxanne looked at him, nodding her head at him. Austin took the map from the robots hand.
"Thank you, please enjoy," The robot said as it zoomed away. "Free map!" It said while leaving Austin and Roxanne.
Austin looked at Roxanne with a puzzled face. Roxanne began to walk away from the elevator.
"Don't mind the map bot, it gives any visitor a free map, even though some will have a map with them sometime when they come back. They tend to be annoying at times." Roxanne explained
"I can see that now. But this map will be good for me to move around without being somewhat lost."
"Yeah, at least you got that now."
Roxanne walked over to a ledge with railings. Austin walked to her and looked over the ledge.
"Woah." Austin said in awe.
"Welcome to the Atrium, where the magic happens. Of course, everyone looks at me, so im the magic of this place." Roxanne said proudly.
"Your very confident about yourself huh?"
"Oh course, I'm perfect and everyone loves me. I have a feeling your favorite is me, right?"
"Uhh... well I don't really have a favorite."
As Austin said that, Roxanne's expression changed. Her face changed to a sad expression. Austin quickly replied when her face changed.
"B-b-but, you are by f-far the coolest animatronic I've met so far." Austin stuttered on his words.
Roxanne's sad expression went back to a more happier expression.
"I knew it, I'm everyone's favorite." Roxanne placed a hand on her chest and her other on her hip.
"Hehe, yeah."
Roxanne looked at Austin and scanned him. It showed an hunger bar for Austin on her vision and his hunger bar was getting low.
"Hmm, are you hungry?" Roxanne asked Austin.
"Oh, uh, no, I'm not really hungry at the moment."
"Well I'm looking at your hunger bar and it's really low, I suggest you eat now or you will lose your energy."
"No, really. Im not hungry."
Roxanne looked at him, placing her hands on her hip, swayed her hip against one of her sides. Austin looked at her as she glared at him.
The way she's looking at me... is she concerned because I don't want to eat? Maybe I should agree with her, besides I am getting a little hungry.
"Okay Roxy, I'll have some food." Austin finally said.
"Im glad you finally want to eat. Now where do you want to eat? We can go to the salad bar or El Chips."
"Uh, what would you suggest?"
"Well I don't really eat since I'm a robot, but I do sometimes go to the salad bar, but rarely though. El Chips is okay I guess, but it's greasy and gets everywhere. So I would say the salad bar."
"I could go for a salad, it's healthy and can help my energy."
"So you want a salad?"
"Yes please."
"Good choice. It's on the bottom floor. Let's get you some food."
Roxanne led Austin down the flight of escalators And went in the middle section. They went down more powered down escalators steps and got down to the bottom floor of the atrium. Roxanne went to the right side, Austin following behind her. They passed through many food places, but they were closed. They got to the to the end of the room. Their was a green neon sign that's called "Salad & Sides." As they got to the front, many glasses holding spatulas, contained lettuce, chopped tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, carrots, celery, olives and green bell peppers. It also contained dried bread croutons, bacon bits, shredded cheese, and bottles of various types of salad dressing.
"Go on, get some food." Roxanne said to Austin.
"But don't you want to find Gregory?"
"Meh, he ain't going nowhere. Besides, you need to gain your energy when we find and chase him down so we can bring him to officer Vanessa."
"Are you sure we can trust her? I have a bad feeling about her."
"Is it about your vision? I've known her for a while now, I'm not sure she is a creepy looking bunny you saw in your vision. Though, she does act strange at times."
"But what if she is? Then what?"
"Then... I'm not too sure. But she isn't, so don't worry about her at the moment."
"Okay Roxy."
Roxanne nodded. "Now hurry up, he could be anywhere."
"Right."
Austin grabbed a plate and a fork. He started to add some lettuce, cucumbers, carrots and celery to his plate and went to a nearby table. He begun to eat his food, while Roxanne had her hand on her chin.
"Now if I'm a troubled boy, where would I go next?" Roxanne thought to herself.
She scanned around the area and noticed a vent was wide open. She then had a idea of where Gregory could be, but she waited for Austin to finish his meal first. After a few minutes, Austin finished his food and put his plate in a white bin labeled "dirty dishes." Roxanne approached Austin.
"Alright Auzzy, since your done eating, I have a idea of where he could be." Roxanne said to Austin.
"Where do you think he can be?" Austin asked Roxanne.
"You see that vent on the wall by the salad bar?" Asked Roxanne.
Austin looked and did see the vent by the salad bar.
"Yeah I see it."
"Good, I want you to crawl in it and see where it leads you."
"Oh! Like that hit game called among -"
"Not the time kid."
"Sorry. But why am I going in?"
"It's because your smaller than me and it looks gross in their, I don't want to look dirty now don't I?"
"I guess not."
"Good. Now in you go. Don't worry, their isn't anything in the vents, so you will be fine."
Austin looked in the dim lighted vent and gulped nervously. He went towards the vent and went on all fours. He began to crawl inside the vent. Inside of the vent were wires hanging, sparking a lot on the ceiling and walls and some vent fans in the vent. He went straight for a few second before making a left turn.
Theirs nothing to fear, Roxy said theirs nothing in the vents, and I believe her.
After turning left he went straight ahead. As he was going straight, he looked around and saw the ceiling had a square opening, but Austin ignored it. He was about to get to the end before having to turn left again, but something fell behind him. He turned around his head to see what it was and saw a toy like animatronics with large black eyes, purple rosy cheeks, purple cleft chin, pink eyelashes, a large pink nose and rows of teeth. It resemble a spider with 6 legs attached to a spherical body and had a speaker in the center of its chest. It had a black top hat with a gray stripe. It had two small cymbals attached to its hands. It was withered and rusted, with some of its teeth chipped and some missing.
"Oh hi there, are you... uh, friendly?" Austin said to the toy animatronic.
The toy animatronic clicked its teeth together and began to charge him. Austin started to crawl faster, trying to get away from the toy animatronic.
Crap, crap, crap! Not friendly, not friendly!
Austin quickly turned left and turned right. He saw a large circular area ahead of him. He fell out of the vent, got up and saw another vent ahead him. He ran towards the vent and crawled in. He turned a left and crawled as fast as he can. He didn't see the slope as he took a right turn and began sliding down head first. He started to slide to the right, then another right, then another right, then another right, and finally another right. He slid into a hole and fell into a room. He hit his legs on a box as he fell down as he fell.
"Ouch, that really hurt." Austin groaned in pain.
Austin's legs dropped to the floor. He went to check his bandaged leg, seeing it drenched into fresh blood.
"Crap, it opened up again. Well, it looks like it's not too bad, but I should keep an eye on it."
Austin got up slowly, not making the bleeding worse. He got up and checked his other leg, which was slightly bruised.
Austin left a small room where he fell from and in a hallway that can you left and right. He decided to go left and a steel door opened upwards. Austin went inside and saw it was a some sort of a command center. He saw a opened present, he looked inside and nothing was in their.
"Hmm, this one is also opened like in the lobby, so that must mean that Gregory is nearby." Austin said to himself.
He saw another metal door and opened it. Inside was a bunch of steel bridges.
"Alright, lets find this Gregory."
