As Roxanne and Austin entered the hallway, Austin saw the walls had pink paint on the bottom, while the top of the wall was not painted at all. It didn't take long before the two came across an elevator at the end of the hall. The two entered the elevator and Roxanne pressed the bear like button. The elevator started to move upward. As the elevator began to move, Austin checked his watch and it was 4:30 am.

We've been in the parts and service room for an hour, all for that to be a waste of time for all of us.

Austin sighed, but Roxanne placed her hand on his shoulder, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry kid, we will figure this out, don't lose hope yet." Roxanne said, smiling at Austin.

"I know, I know. It's just…" Austin sighed. "I thought we were so close to figuring this out… but now… it feels like we're back at square one…"

Roxanne looked at Austin, then looked at his leg, his pants still stained with dried blood.

"Hey kid, how's that leg of yours? It should be feeling better now." Roxanne said to Austin, changing the subject.

Austin looked at Roxanne and at his leg, lifting up his pant sleeve. They both saw the blood cover most of his leg and on his wound, but it's all dried up.

"Huh, looks good to me. I haven't checked on my wound, I almost forgot about it. Why you ask?"

"Just wondering, since it looked pretty bad when I patched it up for you."

"Oh, yeah. The pain is gone now, though it should get patched up again, but maybe later."

"Hmm, yeah. For now, after all this chaos that happened to us, we deserve a break and go karting."

"Yeah, I think we do." Austin smiled.

As the elevator finally stopped, the two stepped out. The two were in a room with many objects on the floor and a recharge station in the corner.

"Hey kid, I've gotta use the recharge station real quick, I can feel my energy dropping." Roxanne explained to Austin.

"Okay Roxy, I'll be here when your done." Austin said to Roxanne.

Roxanne nodded and entered the recharge station. As Roxanne was doing that, Austin checked his watch once again, seeing it turned to 5:00 am.

Huh? Five o'clock already? That elevator ride didn't feel that long… right? Austin thought to himself, scratching his head.

Just then, Roxanne came out of the recharge station.

"Ahh, much better. I feel recharged now. Well kid, shall we?" Roxanne asked Austin.

"Yeah, let's go." Austin said excitedly.

Roxanne took the lead, as she went to a door, it opened up, revealing a more flashy room. Roxanne went into the room, Austin soon following behind, gasping in awe. Austin saw that the room had Roxanne signs on the walls, plushes scattered around, and even a kart in one of the corners. He looked around and noticed that the room was racing themed. Roxanne turned around and looked at Austin.

"Well kid, this is my room. What do you think?" Roxanne said to Austin.

Austin walked in further, looking at everything in the room.

"Wow, you have… a lot of things of you in this room." Austin said.

"Well let's just say… I'm a fan of myself." Roxanne chuckled a bit.

Austin looked once more and noticed a kart in the corner.

"You have a kart in here?! Can we ride it?!" Austin said with excitement.

"Sorry kid, it doesn't really work. It's more of a display piece than an actual kart."

"Oh…" Austin said, sounding disappointed.

"Hey, who needs that kart, when we can actually ride a real kart."

Austin looked at her with excitement. Roxanne opened a door leading outside of her room.

"Come on kid, let's get going."

"Right!"

Roxanne and Austin began walking back to the atrium. As they went back to the lobby area, there weren't any security bots. They realized it was quiet, almost too quiet.

"Is it me… or have we not seen a lot of those security bots?" Austin asked Roxanne.

"Yeah, normally there should be lots of them patrolling, but we haven't seen any after we went to parts and services... something is definitely wrong." Roxanne said to Austin.

Just then, the two heard mechanical and static noises close by.

"What was that?" Austin asked Roxanne, sounding nervous.

"I'm not sure, but we should check it out." Roxanne said to Austin.

Austin nodded and the two began to approach the noise. When the two finally got to where the noise was coming from, they saw Chica. Chica, however, was on her knees, her head slumped down. Roxanne and Austin looked at each other, as they slowly walked towards her. Roxanne placed her hand on Chica, as Chica turned around, her right eye not functioning as it dangles around her eye, looking like a goggly eye, and her beak being completely gone, her endoskeleton mouth being visible. Roxanne and Austin gasped in horror and Roxanne stepped away from Chica a bit. Chica looked at the two sadly, as she got up slowly, revealing the true damage of her body. Chicas toros had many large holes, her left arm is bare endoskeleton, and there is many other smaller cracks on her body as well.

"C-Chica… what… what happened to you?" Roxanne asked Chica with a concerned look.

Chica looked at the two, looking sad. She tried to speak, but loud mechanical noise came out, making Roxanne and Austin cover their ears. Chica stopped speaking, still looking upset. Just then, Chica had an idea of communication, Chica looked at Austin and pointed at him. When she pointed at Austin, she pointed at her.

"Austin? Did Austin do this to you? That's impossible, he was with me the whole time." Roxanne said to Chica.

Chica shook her head and pointed at Austin again, but then she used her arms and flipped over to her other arm. Austin looked confused, but Roxanne kinda understood.

"So… are you saying… Gregory did this?" Roxanne asked Chica, which she nodded.

"How did you know that Roxy?"

"I've been around Chica for a while now and we do charades a lot, so I know what she means at times."

Chica went back to making gestures once again. She made a gesture of her bending down and looks like she is eating. Just then, she made another gesture of her pushing and her falling. She gestured her hand towards the two, before using her other hand to pretend that she was crushed. She laid on the floor, before she pretended to lunge at the two, before she made a gesture of her kicking while pointing at her face and using her hand to pretend to crush her head, making her eyes pop out a bit. Chica finished her charade, Roxanne and Austin looked at her in shock.

"Gregory… pushed you into something, it crushed you the first time, but you got back up, he kicked you in face…" Roxanne began to speak.

"Then it crushed you again?" Austin asked in an upset tone.

Chica nodded sadly. Roxanne scratched her head confusedly at Chicas damaged state.

"How did you even get crushed in the first place?" Roxanne asked Chica.

Chica pointed over to a garbage bin filled with trash.

"You we're eating trash again… let me guess, you were eating from the trash compactor?"

Chica nodded embarrassedly. Roxanne shook her head.

"I've told you eating trash will be the death of you."

Chica looked down sadly and started to cry, or what sounded like crying. Roxanne, realizing she had said too much, went over to her and gave her a hug.

"Don't worry Chica… we will fix you up," Roxanne looked over at Austin. "Sorry kiddo, looks like we won't be karting at the moment."

"No, no… we need to fix Chica first, that's more important than anything else."

Chica looked at the two, having oil flowing down her face, hugging both Roxanne and Austin.

"Okay, okay, save the hugs for when we get you all patched up, okay Chica?"

Chica stopped the hugging and nodded at the two.

"Well, since we're at the lobby, we can take the elevator to the atrium." Roxanne said to the two.

Austin and Chica nodded and the three headed up to the elevator, where they went inside and the elevator started to go up. As they were waiting for the elevator to stop, Austin smelt something terrible in the elevator, he looked at Chica and saw some flies flying around Chica.

"My goodness Chica, looks like you need to be cleaned up as well, no offense of course." Austin said, plugging up his nose.

"Hm, yeah, we should clean you a bit, you look really dirty." Roxanne said to Chica.

Chica gestured to the two with a thumbs up. Just then, the elevator stopped and it opened up. The three started to make there way down the stairs, while Austin and Roxanne were helping Chica not to fall.

"We are almost at the stage, just you wait Chica, we will get you fixed up in no time." Roxanne said to Chica.

Just then, Roxanne's ears perked up and she stopped in her tracks.

"Roxy? Are you alright?" Austin asked Roxanne.

Roxanne kept looking at her area, Roxy's Raceway. She turned to Austin and looked at him.

"Austin, stay here. I have something to do." Roxanne said to Austin.

"But… what about Chica? She needs to be fix, you said it yourself."

"I know what I said, but just stay here for a minute."

"But-"

"I SAID STAY HERE!" Roxanne said, her pupils turning red.

Austin and Chica's eyes widened a bit, as Roxanne started to run to Roxy's Raceway. Austin and Chica looked at each other, as Chica gestured him to go after her, which he nodded and chased after Roxanne. Austin ran to Roxy's Raceway, as the doors opened, he searched for her quickly.

"Roxy? Roxy? Where are you? Your started to scare me a bit!" Austin said out loud.

Just then, Austin heard tire screeching. Austin went to the rail and saw Roxanne on the track, as a kart was heading towards her. He looked closely and noticed there was a person in the kart.

"Is… is that… Gregory?" Austin said in shock. "Roxy, watch out! He's heading straight towards you!"

Just then, Gregory jumped out of the kart and the kart started to roll over towards Roxanne, as it impacted Roxanne right on her face and she fell into a crack between two rocks.

"ROXY!!"
