Volume III: The Jack O'Lantern
Note: This will be the eighth chapter of Volume III, this will introduce Jason Macendale, an inventor at Oscorp who abandons his job and becomes the supervillain called the Jack O'Lantern, Halloween is approaching as the supervillain re embrace his childhood love of this time of year and crosses paths with the heroes who will do everything in their power to stop him from causing destruction around New York City during Halloween. Meanwhile Midtown Science High School is setting up and getting ready for the big Halloween party happening there on Halloween night as the entire school is in for a big surprise. It's up to the three heroes to save halloween from this menace.
Today is October 30th about one day before Halloween, it's 3:45 PM at Midtown Science High School, most of the students still in school are in the gymnasium setting up decorations for the big Halloween party happening tomorrow night, Flash is with his fourteen year old sister Jessie Thompson who is now a freshman here at the school, they're each up in the ladders setting up the sign high up above the door, Peter came by with a box of decorations as he sets them down on the table, Flash is noticing that his sister is trying to reach up higher with on foot on the ladder as its too dangerous, he's getting worried for his sisters safety.
"Jess, be careful, don't overdo yourself!" Flash tells Jessie.
"Don't worry, big brother, I got this!" Jessie isn't very worried.
Peter's spider sense tingles as Jessie reached up higher and placed the sign, but she started to lose balance as she falls back off the ladder, Flash got scared as his sister is falling down, Peter rushed quickly as fast as he can and caught Jessie in his arms, she finds herself in the arms of Peter Parker who is her savior, she looked up to see that she's so close to Peter and blushed in his presence. Flash slides down the ladder as everyone in the gymnasium rushed over all worried that Jessie came so close to being seriously hurt by the fall, but luckily Peter saved her before that ever happened.
"You alright?" Peter asking Jessie in his arms.
"Yeah, I'm okay... thank you." Jessie blushed in front of Peter.
Peter puts Jessie down on her feet as she's unharmed thanks to his heroics, Flash finally came to his sister's side to see that she's alright and unhurt. He suddenly hugs her tightly in relief that nothing seriously bad has happened to his little sister.
"Jessie, thank god you're alright, I was so worried and so scared." Flash hugging his sister Jessie.
"I'm okay, big brother, thanks to my hero." Jessie looking at her savior Peter.
Flash broke off the hug and turns to Peter. "Thanks for saving my sister, Parker, I mean it."
"You're welcome, just please be careful on the ladder next time, Jessie." Peter tells Jessie.
"Of course, and again, thank you." Jessie gave Peter her gratitude.
Peter smiled as he left both Jessie and Flash to go and join his friends Mary Jane and Gwen on the other side of the gymnasium, Jessie watched Peter walked away as she can't stop looking at him, her brother Flash noticed her staring at Peter as he's know what's going on in his sister's head, she has a crush on Peter Parker.
"Never going to happen, sis!" Flash tells Jessie not to get her hopes up with Peter.
Jessie rolled her eyes and sighed. "Drama queen... By the way, are you still going to wear that Spider-Man costume you wore on the last two Halloween nights?"
"Of course I am, it's like my good luck charm and shows my support to my favorite hero, Spider-Man." Flash tells his sister he's wearing the suit again.
"And let me guess, you never washed it both those times too." Jessie tells her brother.
"Not once." Flash told his sister.
"That's sound disgusting." Jessie looked disturbed hearing this news.
Meanwhile Peter joined up with his friends Gwen and Mary Jane after he saved Jessie's life from the fall.
"Great job Tiger." Mary Jane complimented Peter.
"Saving the girl from falling, it must be one of your superpowers." Gwen teased Peter.
"Come on, Gwen, if it was you, I would've caught you in a second." Peter tells Gwen.
"Alright, you two, let's just finish up decorating and we can all go shopping for our halloween costumes." Mary Jane tells her friends.
"Sure thing, MJ." Peter agrees with Mary Jane.
"We should invite Miles to come and pick out his costume." Gwen suggested to her friends.
"Good idea, Gwendy." Peter agreed with Gwen.
Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane all got back to work finishing up the decorations for tomorrow's halloween part so that they could all go shopping for their costumes to wear tomorrow for Halloween, all three are still dealing with their own romantic feelings in their own love triangle, Peter is still feeling divided between the girl he still loves and the other he's falling for, his love life is now very complicated.
It's 4:12 PM at Oscorp Industries, in the Research and Development division of the company, 32 year old Jason Macendale Jr. is working with the head scientist Dr. Mendel Stromm to design the prototype glider they've worked on together, the test pilot is using a green armored flight suit hovering the craft above the ground as both Macendale and Stromm watch and learn about its function and what needs improvements.
"The thrusters are operating at 70 percent, we may need to up the boost a bit to 80." Jason Macendale suggested to Mendel Stromm.
"Alright, we're all done testing for the day." Mendel Stromm tells the test pilot.
The test pilot finishes demonstrating the glider as he hover it down slowly for a landing, the test pilot gets off the glider as both scientists approached the glider for a closer examination as the test pilot is removing the suit.
"I don't see what the problem is, this thing seems to be working out fine as it is."
"We built the glider together for aerial warfare, we're still working the adding weapons to it's arsenal, all it can do is fly and evade." Mendel Stromm explained the prototype glider capabilities.
"Boy, you eggheads had to leave this fine piece of machinery without firepower. Wheres the fun in that?"
"That's why it's a prototype, to leave room for improvements." Jason Macendale tells the test pilot.
"Of course, that's why you're just the inventor and I'm the test pilot."
"Alright, that's enough for today. Let's continue testing for another time, dismissed."
The test pilot leaves away from the scientists as Jason Macendale is working a boring job without any recognition and living a boring old life. He wants to be something more in life, a somebody with who can make a name for himself. He leaves Mendel Stromm behind as he heads towards the prototype storage room where all experimental tech is being stored, he used his keycard to gain access and enters the place. He grabbed a cart and began collecting a huge number of experimental tech inside, including the high explosive bombs, razor bats, and a hovercraft that is his own design. After he's done collecting everything he can take, he covered everything up in the cart under the sheets and started wheeling it towards the elevator as he has big plans for himself.
It's 4:56 PM in the city at a costume shop, Peter had already picked out his costume of choice as the Invincible Iron Man as did Miles Morales who picked out his suit as the Black Panther, but Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy are still shopping around picking out costumes as they've caught eyes on a couple of hero costumes in particular, Captain Marvel and Black Widow, almost all the costumes in the stores are hero themed, modeled after the Avengers.
"I think I'm going to try out this one." Mary Jane holding the Black Widow costume up.
"And I'll go and try on the Captain Marvel." Gwen holding up the Captain Marvel costume up.
Both Gwen and Mary Jane each took up the dressing room and covered up the curtains for some privacy to change and try out the costumes while Peter and Miles are waiting for them to be done trying out costumes and deciding if they're the ones for them to wear on Halloween.
"Is it weird for us heroes to being wearing other heroes costume?" Miles asking Peter.
"A little bit, but then again it's Halloween, we're allowed to go out and become someone else for the next 24 hours, having fun roaming the streets door to door trick or treating and eating candy, even us heroes are allowed to have fun every now and then." Peter tells Miles.
"True, then again it would've been fun if we just gone out wearing our regular suits on Halloween, at least we can blend in with everyone else with our mask off and nobody would notice." Miles tells Peter.
"Good point." Peter agrees with Miles.
The curtains opened as both Mary Jane shows herself off in the Black Widow costume and Gwen is wearing the Captain Marvel costume, Peter and Miles are amazed how great they both looked in their costumes. Peter in particular is amazed how both girls looked in their costumes due to his attraction to them both.
"So... what do you guys think?" Mary Jane dressed as the Black Widow.
"Does this look good on me?" Gwen dressed as Captain Marvel.
Peter smiled and gave them two thumbs up. "You both look amazing."
"Thanks Pete." Gwen blushed by Peter's words.
"Great, I'll take it." Mary Jane want this costume.
Gwen and Mary Jane decided to buy and take their new costume to wear for Halloween as they went back behind the curtains to change back into their regular clothes. Miles is amazed by how Peter Parker managed to charm both amazingly beautiful girls without even trying to do so.
"Wow, how is it that you've managed to attract two pretty girls to liking you?" Miles asking Peter.
"I don't know, I just mostly be myself and it just happens." Peter tells Miles.
"Wish I had that same luck like you." Miles envy Peter's luck with women.
"Just be patient and be yourself, eventually someone will take notice of you." Peter gave Miles some advice.
The curtains opened as Mary Jane and Gwen are both back to wearing their regular clothes and packed the costumes back into their packages, they're walking up to the registers to purchase their new costumes, Peter and Miles followed them and waited in line behind them to buy their own costumes, everybody is all set for Halloween.
It's 7:44 PM at the apartment building occupied by Jason Macendale, the man himself is surrounded by what appears to be horror film posters and gargoyle statues as he's pretty busy working on building new tools for his new quest as a supervillain, he's building what appears to be a plasma scythe, next to him is the hovercraft he stole from Oscorp's R & D complex along with high explosive portable bombs drawn into shapes of small pumpkins. He finished up the plasma scythe and holds it up, he turns it on and it emits a plasma blade powerful enough to cut through most things.
"Perfect." Jason Macendale smiled in pride.
He turns it off and puts it down next to the helmet he built in the shaped of a jack o'lantern head, he picks it up and holds it up in his hand, he gazed upon it as it brings back old memories he had of his childhood on Halloween.
(Flashback)
It's halloween 2001 as then ten year old Jason Macendale Jr. is all dressed up in his Jack O'Lantern costume, running around the neighborhood collecting candy, he's came up a house where a sign says 'No Candy, Stay Out of My Property!' but he ignores the sign and walked upon someone's front door, he ring the doorbell, the homeowner came up to find a young boy in a Jack O'Lantern costume holding out the bag full of candy.
"Trick or Treat!" Young Jason Macendale holding up the bag.
"I don't have any treats, kid! Can't you read the sign?! Get the hell of my property, freak!"
The homeowner slammed the door after insulting the trick or treater and telling him to leave in the most meanest way, Jason Macendale wouldn't take the insult he was given, so he ended up tossing a toilet paper above the tree and letting it roll over covering the whole tree, later he ended up tossing some eggs at the man's door and windows without any regrets to the damage he's causing, he's just having too much fun to care.

Jason smiled as he remembers the good old days back when he was a boy, he had so much fun being the Jack O'Lantern pulling pranks on Halloween and causing so much trouble, he puts down the helmet on the table next to the green armored flight suit he stole from Oscorp modified with a purple cape around it. He picks it up and began to dress himself in his new suit, placed the helmet above his head as it glows and emits what appears to be flames around it, then he picks up the plasma scythe and turns it on.
"Those were the good times, and now it's time for me to make my appearance again. Look out New York, the Jack O'Lantern is coming to town." Jason Macendale becomes the new supervillain called the Jack O'Lantern.
It's 10:15 PM at the Parker Residence as Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane are all together sitting in the couch in the living room eating pizza and watching a halloween movie called Hocus Pocus, meanwhile Aunt May just came into the house and finds the kids in the living watching a movie on the big TV, they've noticed her coming in the house as Peter paused the movie for Aunt May.
"I'm home, did you kids finish shopping for your costumes?" May asking the three teenagers about their day.
"Yeah, we're all set for Halloween. How about you? Got any plans tomorrow?" Peter asking his aunt.
"As a matter in fact, I have, me and the rest of the staff are going to be dressed up for Halloween and handing out candy at the shelter, I've already got my costume picked out." May told her nephew.
"Sounds like fun, maybe we'll stop by earlier and check up on the place." Peter told his aunt.
"Okay, I'm going to crash for the night. You kids finish watching your movie and don't stay up too long." May told the teens to carry on their night.
"Sure thing, Mrs. Parker!" Mary Jane tells a tired out May Parker.
"Good night, Aunt May." Peter waved to his aunt.
May is walking upstairs towards her room for her rest as Peter stays behind with Gwen and Mary Jane as they're sitting down and continuing to watch the movie together. Both Mary Jane and Gwen are comfortable sitting with the love of their lives, Peter is quite lucky to be in the company of two most beautiful girls, though he's still feels conflicted to which girl he loves the most, Mary Jane or Gwen, he loves them both equally but he can only be with one in the end.
Today is October 31st at 7:30 AM in the morning as Halloween is finally here, most of New York City is all Halloween themed for the day, almost all the people walking around the streets are dressed in their costumes to celebrate the holiday, including those who are working their respective jobs and students walking to their schools. Some people on the ground are looking up to see someone in a costume flying around in a hovercraft as they assumed that someone is performing a stunt. This man is dressed like a Jack O'Lantern as he uses his hovercraft to fly up far above the buildings as he gazed down upon the entire city celebrating Halloween.
"Ah, Halloween is finally here, my favorite time of the year. Now the Jack O'Lantern can go around trick or treating, with a violent twist." Jack O'Lantern tells himself.
Jack O'Lantern continues flying around New York City as he plans to bring about Halloween in a most violent and twisted way, everyone around the city will soon be facing the most toughest and dangerous day on their day of fun.
It's 12:23 PM at Brooklyn Visions Academy, everyone is dresed up in their respective costumes and all on their break as Miles Morales is dressed in his Black Panther costume is having lunch with his friends Ganke Lee dressed as the Ant-Man and Anya Corazon is standing up dressed as the Black Cat with the white wig and domino mask showing herself off to her new friends.
"So how do you like my costume?" Anya showing off the Black Cat costume.
"It look great on you." Miles likes Anya's costume.
"That's sweet of you. I had thought about getting a Spider-Man costume to dress up, but that probably be weird of me dressed like a guy." Anya told her friends.
"Nah, it wouldn't be weird at all, you could just call yourself Spider-Girl, if there is such a thing." Ganke told Anya.
"Spider-Girl? I like that, not bad, Ant-Man." Anya teased Ganke.
"Of course, Black Cat." Ganke teased Anya back.
"You know, tomorrow you both should come with me and celebrate the holiday of my mother's culture, it's kinda like Halloween where we celebrate our departed loved ones, it's called Dia de los Muertos, the day of the dead." Anya suggested to her friends.
"Hm, sounds exciting. Maybe we will." Miles likes the idea.
"So, any plans for Halloween?" Anya asking about their plans.
"My mom is going to celebrate Halloween at the shelter handing out candy to any children who comes by trick or treating, I'll probably stop by and check out the shelter, see how she's doing." Miles told Anya his plans.
"That's nice of you." Anya told Miles.
"As for me, I'll probably stick around handing out candy along with most of the students here." Ganke told them about his plans.
"How about you Anya?" Miles asking Anya about her plans.
"I'm going to stop by my dad's place and pick out what to bring for tomorrow's holiday. Maybe help hand out candy too while I'm at it." Anya told them about her plans.
"Great, looks like we each have our plans. So lets go out there and celebrate Halloween on our own, then maybe tomorrow we'll try out your day of the dead holiday together." Miles told Anya and Ganke.
"Cheers to that." Ganke holding up his can of soda.
"Cheers!" Miles and Anya held up their cans up together.
Miles, Anya, and Ganke all cling their cans together to celebrate Halloween each on their own.
It's 2:46 PM as everyone at Midtown High is leaving school for the day, Peter is all dressed as Iron Man, Mary Jane as Black Widow, and Gwen as Captain Marvel, almost everyone is dressed in costumes including Flash Thompson dressed as Spider-Man, his sister Jessie dressed as Ghost-Spider, and Harry Osborn dressed as Captain America are walking with them outside on school grounds.
"Is that the same costume you wore before last Halloween?" Peter asking Flash about the costume.
"Yes, and the one before that, thank you for noticing, Parker." Flash confirmed it to Peter.
"He never washed it, not once." Jessie told everyone about it.
"No wonder it smells funny." Mary Jane teased Flash's costume.
"Geez, thanks for that, little sis." Flash felt teased by his sister.
"Well, me and Gwen should get going, we need to stop by the shelter, we'll see you all at the party." Peter tells everyone they're leaving.
"Don't be late you two, it starts at 6:30 PM sharp. Don't forget!" Flash reminded them about the party.
"We won't!" Gwen waved to Flash as she leaves with Peter.
Peter and Gwen left together as most of their friends stayed behind at the school getting ready for the Halloween party happening tonight, Mary Jane watched them walking together as she can't help but being a bit jealous how much closer they are now that they're living under the same room, Mary Jane felt like she has little in common with Peter, Gwen is his perfect match in every way.
It's 3:34 PM at F.E.A.S.T., May Parker is all dressed up in a witch costume and Rio Morales is dressed as a doctor with fake blood all over the coat and a face mask, some kids came by and Miles Morales along with some employees are handing out candy. At the same time the TV is on showing news about the trouble Stark Industries is facing over their satellite technology being used against the world by Ultron five months ago, the same satellites responsible for destroying a fleet and killing thousands of naval soldiers.
"Still no word from Stark Industries CEO Tony Stark who still hasn't made his appearance nor took a leadership role in the company in these past five months, meanwhile the company is facing bad publicity after it has been leaked that their satellite technology was used by the rogue robot Ultron to kill a number of lives lost in that Atlantic fleet devastation. Rumor has it that the company could be left vulnerable to a hostile takeover as many rival competitors are looking to seize Stark Industries and their technology. How long does Stark Industries have until they go down under?"
Peter and Gwen came by the shelter to see that Miles is already here handing out candy to some trick or treaters in costumes, the kids walked away after collecting their candy and walked past them, Miles then spotted his friends here as he walked away and joins up with them already in their costumes just like him.
"Hey, glad you made it." Miles greeted his friends.
Miles high five Peter and Gwen as they all joined up together and looked around to see how well the shelter is doing on Halloween, a lot of employees including Peter's Aunt and Miles' mom are all dressed in their costumes handing out candy to kids passing by and tending to their duties helping the homeless in the process.
"Looks like business is great on Halloween, everybody is working and celebrating the holiday at the same time." Peter is impressed with the shelter.
"Hey, if anyone can make this place more functional and fun, it's your aunt." Miles tells Peter.
"She can do it all, at least nothing could go wrong." Peter is glad everything is fine.
They spoke too soon as all three of their spider senses tingled together, signaling them that danger is here. The window ceiling came crashing down and little shards of glass fell down upon the shelter and everyone down inside it, the heroes looked up to see that someone on a hovercraft dressed in some kind of costume with a pumpkin head is hovering down and surprised everyone with his presences, it's the Jack O'Lantern.
"Trick or treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!" Jack O'Lantern says the quote.
"What the hell?" Peter says quietly with his friends.
May steps up on behalf of the shelter. "Who are you?"
"Allow me to introduce myself, witch, I'm the Jack O'Lantern and somebody better give me something good to eat!" Jack O'Lantern demands to everyone.
"And if we say no?" May is curious.
"Fine... then trick!" Jack O'Lantern does his tricks.
Jack O'Lantern pulled out a pumpkin bomb from his satchel bag and tossed it towards the ceiling as it blows up and caused damage to the shelter, debris started falling down as everyone is running out scared for their lives, meanwhile Jack O'Lantern continues to cause damage around the shelter, Peter, Gwen, and Miles all ran out of the shelter with their backpacks, they arrived at an alleyway and started to climb up to the rooftop, once they arrive there, they all started to change into their suits for battle. Meanwhile May and Rio are helping evacuating everyone out of the shelter as Jack O'Lantern wreak havoc around and spotted the two woman down below escorting everyone out of the shelter, ruining his time of fun. He hovers himself down and stopped them from leaving the shelter with his plasma scythe in his hands.
"You two had to ruin my day of fun, but not for much longer. Are you both ready to lose your heads?" Jack O'Lantern powers up his plasma scythe.
Rio and May are frightened as Jack O'Lantern threatens to decapitate them together, he readies himself to swing his scythe upon them and take their lives until Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid webbed up both May and Rio, they pulled them back away from the Jack O'Lantern swinging his scythe and missed his targets, Ghost-Spider came in swinging for a drop kick and knocked Jack O'Lantern off his hovercraft and he fell down to the ground. May and Rio find themselves alive thanks to the spider heroes saving them from certain death, May is smiling as her nephew saved their lives, Kid Arachnid is relieved that he saved his mother in time.
"Thank you." Rio is grateful to her saviors.
"Yeah... no problem." Kid Arachnid felt awkward around his mother.
"Get to safety, we'll handle things here, now go!" Spider-Man tells them to leave the scene.
"Right, let's go Rio!" May helping Rio up on her feet.
May and Rio rushed out of the shelter together as Spider-Man and Kid Arachnid joins up with Ghost-Spider, Jack O'Lantern gets up to see that three spider heroes are here and interrupted his fun of decapitation on the two women. The heroes are about to face this new supervillain as their loved ones are away safely for them to fight.
"If you're all trick or treaters, then you should all go someplace else, because I was here first." Jack O'Lantern tells the heroes.
"Whoever you are, I think you taking this trick or treating thing too seriously." Spider-Man tells the Jack O'Lantern.
"Don't think we've met, allow me to introduce myself, I'm the Jack O'Lantern." Jack O'Lantern introduced himself again.
"Yeah, we kinda figured that part out, the Jack O'Lantern on your head is pretty obvious." Ghost-Spider already knows the Jack O'Lantern earlier.
"You could've killed those two!" Kid Arachnid made this personal.
"I almost did, but you all had to ruin my fun. Since you all scared away my audience, you'll just have to do." Jack O'Lantern tells the heroes.
Jack O'Lantern pulled out a pumpkin bomb from his satchel bag and tossed it towards the heroes as they all jumped and split up from the blast, Jack O'Lantern rushed and jumped back onto his hovercraft and hovers high up above the ground as he looks down to see each of the three heroes all separated, Ghost-Spider fired some webbing at Jack O'Lantern who uses his plasma scythe to cut off the webbing before they ever reached him, he then spotted Kid Arachnid jumping up from behind for a punch, he hovers more high up as Kid Arachnid miss his target. Jack O'Lantern then pulls out more pumpkin bombs from the satchel bags and tossed them towards the heroes, the heroes all evaded the bombs as the explosions is causing more destruction to the shelter and everything in it, the heroes are having a hard time striking back until Jack O'Lantern finds out that his satchel bag is completely empty of all the pumpkin bombs.
"Oh shoot! I'm all out of tricks! You're lucky this time, we'll have to finish this dance another time, bye bye!" Jack O'Lantern tells them that he's leaving.
"Oh no you don't!" Spider-Man aims his wrist.
Spider-Man fired off a web line and attach itself to Jack O'Lantern's hovercraft, the supervillain felt a drag as he looks down to see that Spider-Man managed to web a line to his hovercraft, Jack O'Lantern then puts in more power as the hovercraft hovers up out of the shelter pulling Spider-Man in still gripping the line. The people on the ground see the supervillain flying away with Spider-Man in tow. Jack O'Lantern attempts to lose the hero by flying so close to the buildings rooftops hoping for him to crash and let go. Spider-Man is using his speed and agility to run and dodge anything that comes his way. Jack O'Lantern turns to see that Spider-Man still isn't letting go and is only climbing up closer to him.
"This is becoming too much fun. Let's make this interesting!" Jack O'Lantern tells Spider-Man.
Jack O'Lantern plans to make this more of a challenge as he hovers far up in the air as Spider-Man looks down to see that they're climbing up too high from any building, he ignores the far heights and continues climbing up towards the Jack O'Lantern hoping to reach him, the supervillain looked back to see that Spider-Man is getting more closer as he ignites the plasma scythe in his hands.
"Tell me? Can spiders fly?!" Jack O'Lantern tells Spider-Man.
Jack O'Lantern uses his scythe to slice off the web line from his hovercraft as Spider-Man lost his grip and falls down from far heights, he's losing the Jack O'Lantern as he can't do nothing to catch him, he's still falling from far up and the supervillain is getting away. Spider-Man's suit activates the parachute stored in the back, it pops out and slows his descend towards the ground. Kid Arachnid and Ghost-Spider followed and stopped onto a rooftop as they look up in the air to see Spidey parachuting down towards them, he finally landed on the rooftop in front of them.
"You okay, Spidey?" Kid Arachnid asking Spider-Man.
"Yeah, I'm great, I'll have to thank Stark for installing the parachute into my suit." Spider-Man takes off the parachute.
"Stark?" Kid Arachnid is confused.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you another time. Right now we should get back to the shelter and check up my Aunt and your mom." Spider-Man tells Kid Arachnid.
(Later)
Back at the shelter, the shelter is closed off as police and paramedic are tending to the homeless and the employees, Damage Control is also at the scene analyzing the damage that Jack O'Lantern caused, May is with Rio talking to Captain Watanabe and explaining the situation that had happened here, Spider-Man and his friends returned back as many press outside are attempting to get a scoop on this event, they ignore and continue walking towards May and Rio talking to Captain Watanabe.
"Any idea why this guy would attack a homeless shelter?" Yuri Watanabe asking May and Rio about the incident.
"Honestly, we had no idea, we were just doing our jobs and celebrating the holiday, we never expected some guy on some hover gizmo to come crashing down and making a mess." May explained about the event.
"He calls himself the Jack O'Lantern." Rio told Yuri the villains name.
"Jack O'Lantern?" Yuri Watanabe is very confused.
"We're being serious, this guy has a pumpkin on his head." Rio corrects Yuri Watanabe again.
Yuri then turns her attention to Spider-Man. "Spider-Man, I take it you and your amazing friends were able to thwart this Jack O'Lantern attack. It's very fortunate you were in the neighbor in time."
"Yeah, I was kinda hoping to celebrate Halloween without any trouble." Spider-Man tells Yuri Watanabe.
"Did you at least catch the guy?" Yuri Watanabe is wondering.
"I almost had him, but he managed to ditch me and fly away. Sorry I couldn't do better." Spider-Man informs Yuri Watanabe.
"Don't worry, knowing you and your friends, you will all catch him eventually." Yuri Watanabe offered Spider-Man some optimism.
"Thanks for the optimism, Captain." Spider-Man thanked Yuri Watanabe.
Meanwhile Sergeant Jefferson Davis came running through and spotted his wife Rio all alive and well, Kid Arachnid sees his dad coming to the scene towards his mom looking all worried for her.
"Rio!" Jefferson Davis calling out to Rio Morales and hugs her tightly. "I heard about what happened, thank god you're alright, I was so worried for you and Miles."
"Wait? Where is Miles?" Rio is looking around for her son.
"I though he was with you?" Jefferson is also worried for their son.
"We got separated during the chaos, I haven't seen him since." Rio is now getting very worried for their son.
Kid Arachnid heard his parents mention his name, he quietly walks away from the scene as he needs to make an appearance soon or his parents will get suspicious of where he is right now. Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider noticed Kid Arachnid making a retreat for good reason as his parent will be asking questions of where he disappeared to, Miles Morales disappears and all of a sudden Kid Arachnid appears soon after that, someone will be connecting the dots and figure it out. Rio and Jefferson are still looking for their son as Rio's phone is suddenly ringing, she checks to see that Miles is calling.
Rio answered her son's call. "Hello? Hijo, is that you?"
"Yeah mom, it's me." Miles telling his mother.
"Are you okay, Hijo? I'm here with your dad and we still couldn't find you here. Where are you?" Rio asking her son all worried.
"I'm still here around in Chinatown, I guess I got a little lost after I've ran out of the shelter. But I'm okay, mom, I'm fine. I'll find my way back, see you soon." Miles told his mother he'll be there soon.
"Okay, we'll be here waiting, love you, mi hijo." Rio tells her son.
"Love you too, mama." Miles tells his mother before hanging up.
Meanwhile Ghost-Spider is still talking with Captain Watanabe as Spider-Man enters the crime scene where Damage Control and CSI are searching around for clues and evidence, everybody then noticed the hero walking in unannounced as he waves up his Avengers Identicard which gives him a pass into restricted areas on hero business, everyone then got back into doing their jobs and let the hero do his own investigation. He walks around the shelter and sees all the damages Jack O'Lantern inflicted with his bombs, he hopes to find a bomb fragment around this mess. He then spotted something metal on the floor near the debris, he picked it up to find the bomb fragment and examines it, he finds something etched on the fragment. He takes the fragment away with him and walks out to see Miles Morales changed back into his halloween costume hugging with his parents, they have no suspicion about Miles being the Kid Arachnid.
It's 4:11 PM at Midtown Science High School as most of the students stayed behind making preparations for tonight's Halloween Party in the gymnasium, meanwhile Betty dressed in a Wasp costume is watching the news on her phone along with her friends about the recent attack at F.E.A.S.T. by the new supervillain called Jack O'Lantern, they see all the damage he caused to the place and was fortunate that nobody was killed thanks to the heroes.
"Here at the homeless shelter in Chinatown, a man calling himself the Jack O'Lantern has caused massive destruction, luckily thanks to our heroes, nobody was seriously hurt or worse. Halloween, the day of having fun in costume has now turned into a nightmare as this madman is still on the loose, residents are advised to suspend their Halloween activities and to stay indoors until further noticed, as long as he's out there, nobody is safe out in the streets."
"Jesus Christ, doesn't Parker's aunt run the place?" Flash is worried about Peter's aunt.
"Yeah, I'm relieved that she didn't get hurt, or worse." Betty tells Flash.
"I heard Peter went there, is he alright?" Jessie is worried for Peter.
"I'm sure he's fine, sis. Looks like Spider-Man was there to save the day again as always." Flash tells his sister.
"So what's going to happen now? We all heard the news, is nut job is still out there terrorizing everywhere. Is the Halloween party cancelled?" Randy dressed as Kid Arachnid.
"Like hell we're canceling! We can't let this psycho ruin our day, the Halloween party still continues on schedule." Flash tells everyone the party is still on.
"Hell yeah!" Kong dressed as the Hulk.
Meanwhile Mary Jane is away from everybody on the phone talking to Gwen about what just happened at the shelter concerning this Jack O'Lantern wreaking havoc and almost killing everyone, including Peter's aunt.
"I heard about the attack at F.E.A.S.T., how is May?" Mary Jane is on the phone with Gwen.

At the same time, everyone is at the Spider-Cave all dressed in their respective suits, Peter is at the desk using the microscope to studying the bomb fragment he found at the shelter, Miles is on the supercomputer scanning emergency frequencies for any leads on the Jack O'Lantern, Gwen is still on the phone talking with Mary Jane who is at the school with everybody else.
"She's alright, luckily we were there in time and we managed to save her along with Miles's mom. We're here at the Spider-Cave tracking down any leads on the Jack O'Lantern's whereabouts, hopefully we'll find in time before he does something crazy. How are things at the school, is the party cancelled?" Gwen asking Mary Jane.
"No, it's still on despite the fact that theres a supervillain on the loose. Flash convinced everybody to keep it going." Mary Jane tells Gwen about the party.
"I see, then we'll try even harder in our efforts to bring in this guy so that Halloween can continue be celebrated in peace." Gwen tells Mary Jane.
While Gwen is still on the phone with Mary Jane, Peter is looking through the microscope as he found something interesting on the bomb fragment, it looked like letters and serial numbers with one word in particular, Oscorp.
"Guys, I found something interesting." Peter tells his teammates he found something.
"Gotta go, talk to you later, bye." Gwen hangs up on Mary Jane's call.
"What is it?" Miles is curious.
"This explosive device, it came from Oscorp." Peter tells his teammates.
"What?" Gwen is shocked to hear this news.
"So you think this Jack O'Lantern guy works for Oscorp?" Miles told his theory.
"It's possible, or he could've just gotten it from somebody working at Oscorp, either way it's the only lead we've got." Peter tells Miles.
"Then let's go and get our answers there." Gwen tells her teammates.
Peter, Gwen, and Miles all grabbed their masks and puts them on their heads as they're heading out to Oscorp to track down a possible lead to the Jack O'Lantern.
It's 4:36 PM the apartment building, Jason Macendale is restocking his satchel bag with more pumpkin bombs along with razor bats after he used up his previous load at the shelter in his battle against the spider heroes, the laptop is playing the news of his recent exploits as the Jack O'Lantern, he listens and smiles as he likes what he's been doing out there making a name for himself.
"Still no word on the Jack O'Lantern's whereabouts, residents who are still out in the streets are advised to suspend their Halloween activities until further noticed. Police are working tirelessly to search for this Jack O'Lantern terrorizing New York."
"Years of being a nobody, now I'm finally a somebody, someone who inspires fear and chaos all for fun, a Jack O'Lantern. My father always said that I'd never amount to anything, he'd be turning his grave if he finds out what I've become." Jason Macendale smiled as he's proud of his achievements while speaking ill about his father.
After he's done reloading his ammunition, he walks up to his desk and sits down in front of his computer, he access the internet and types in 'Halloween Events', he grabs a mug full of coffee and drinks it down while looking up some results, he found one event in particular happening tonight at Midtown Science High School, it's still happening even after everyone is advised to suspend Halloween.
"Hmm, a Halloween party, this should be interesting. Apparently it's still open even after everyone heard of me, if they still want to have their fun, so will I." Jason Macendale tells himself.
Jason gets up and picks up the Jack O'Lantern helmet, he puts it over his head and becomes the Jack O'Lantern again, he still plans to celebrate Halloween his way and now he knows where to celebrate, Midtown Science High School.
It's 5:02 PM at Oscorp Industries, at the R & D complex, Dr. Mendel Stromm is all alone in his office working on his laptop of a secret project codename OZ, it's a bio tech enhancement project that enhances a person's physical abilities to higher degrees than that of an average super soldier using a formula called Performance Enhancers, he stops typing as he heard something here in the building, his office door opens as Spider-Man and his friends came in unannounced, Dr. Stromm closes the computer as to not let them know about the project his boss Norman asked him to do in secret in hopes to use it against Spider-Man. Dr. Stromm gets up from his desk looking nervous as he has no idea why they're here or what they want, or if they're even suspicious of his involvement in the creation of Molten Man.
"Spider-Man? Why are you here?" Mendel Stromm asking Spider-Man the purpose of his visit.
"Did we interrupt something?" Spider-Man is wondering what Mendel Stromm was doing.
"Yeah, just working on some research, but since you're here, what can I do for you?" Mendel Stromm is at Spider-man's service.
"We came across something that Jack O'Lantern just used against us, an handheld explosive device and we traced it back here to Oscorp." Spider-Man explained about the lead they got.
"That can't be, it's impossible." Mendel Stromm doesn't believe Oscorp is involved.
"We have the bomb fragment with etching labelled Oscorp Industries, this technology came from here. We just want to know how a supervillain manage to get his hands on it. Come on doctor, we don't have much time, this guy will strike again, do you really want to have that on your conscious? Just give us something, anything, a lead or a name, please." Spider-Man asking Mendel Stromm for his help.
Mendel Stromm sighed. "Follow me."
Mendel Stromm leads the heroes to the storage room where all the prototypes are stored, he used his keycard to access it as they all entered the storage room, Spider-Man sees that this room needs to be accessed by keycard, Dr. Stromm finds out that a few things from inventory is missing, including the handheld bombs as Spider-Man said, he suspect that only someone who works here and has access could've done this.
"Damn it, they're gone." Mendel Stromm is shocked a few things were stolen.
"Who has access to this place?" Spider-Man asking Mendel Stromm.
"Hold on, let me check the system." Mendel Stromm approaches the terminal.
Dr. Stromm accessed the terminal and looks up the logs of anyone who accessed this place in the past few days, he got a hit on one name.
"According to the logs, this room was accessed yesterday by Jason Macendale, one of our scientists here. He's probably the man you're looking for, the one you call Jack O'Lantern." Mendel Stromm gave them a suspect's name.
"You wouldn't happen to have his address, would you?" Kid Arachnid asking Mendel Stromm.
Dr. Stromm sighed as he pulls out a pad and pen, he writes down the address of where Jason Macendale lives at, after he's done writing it down, he hands Spider-Man the paper with the address on it.
Spider-Man takes it in his hand. "Thanks Doc."
Spider-Man and his friends all walked out of the storage room together after they got what they needed, they're now heading out of Oscorp to track down Jason Macendale who is possibly the supervillain calling himself the Jack O'Lantern. Dr. Stromm took a peak out of the room and sees that the heroes are leaving, he sighs in relief as none of them are aware of his involvement in illegal science experiments he's done for his boss Norman, he's in the clear for now as the heroes have bigger worries right now, stopping the Jack O'Lantern.
It's 5:23 PM at the apartment of Jason Macendale, Spider-Man opens up the window and climbs up inside along with Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid to find that the place is empty and there's no sign of the man himself. They see all the creepy things around the place like horror posters and statues, Spider-Man spotted a coffee mug on the desk next to a laptop, he approached and touched the mug with his fingers to feel some warmth.
"He's not here." Ghost-Spider tells her teammates.
"He was here sometime ago, the coffee is a little warm, I think we just missed him." Spider-Man tells his teammates.
"I see for a smart guy, he's really into all kinds of horror stuff like a creep." Kid Arachnid looks at the place.
"Yeah, or probably a guy with some serious issues." Ghost-Spider figures Jack O'Lantern's profile.
Spider-Man opens up Jason Macendale's laptop and turns it on, he then attempts to unlock it by figuring out some passcodes, Kid Arachnid sees that Spidey is attempting to unlock the laptop and has a suggestion for him.
"You know, I know someone who might help open it up." Kid Arachnid suggested to Spider-Man.
Kid Arachnid then sees that Spider-Man managed to unlock the computer so quickly with his computer hacking skills. He was going to suggest calling his friend Ganke Lee to help them, but it's no longer necessary.
"Okay, never mind." Kid Arachnid retracts his suggestion.
Spider-Man then looks up the internet and searches it's browser history for any clues as to where he might be heading as his next target, he accessed a more recent site and got the result, it really shocked him to learn of the Jack O'Lantern's next target on his list.
"Oh no!" Spider-Man is shocked and scared.
"What is it?" Ghost-Spider got worried by his reaction.
"I know where he's going next, and it's bad, very bad." Spider-Man is more frightened.
Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid got up to Spider-Man as they see that there's a event happening at Midtown Science High School, the Halloween Party where most of Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider's friends are currently at along with students attending the event, everyone at the school is in danger as Jack O'Lantern plans to attack it and everyone in it.
It's 6:30 PM at Midtown Science High School, a lot of students and guests are attending the Halloween Party happening right now in the gymnasium, everyone is in costumes enjoying the snacks and dancing to the music, some are handing out candy to trick or treater coming in. Meanwhile Peter, Gwen, and Miles arrived outside the school in their halloween costumes as Iron Man, Captain Marvel, and Black Panther, many teens are coming in the front door as Miles looked at the school sign that reads 'Midtown Science High School, Birthplace of Spider-Man.'
"Huh? You weren't literally born here, were you?" Miles asking Peter.
"The idea of me was." Peter corrects Miles.
"So why are we in our Halloween costumes? Shouldn't we be suited up for Jack O'Lantern." Miles is confused as to why they're wearing their costumes.
"Jack O'Lantern still hasn't shown up yet, that's good, but we still don't know when he'll show up, and if he sees us in our suits, he might bug out. We have to do this under the radar and wait for him to come to us. Once he comes, we'll be ready." Peter explain the logic of their plan.
"In the meantime, shall we?" Gwen suggested to her friends they go in.
"Ladies first." Peter smiled and flirted with Gwen.
They all headed inside the school and made their way through the hallway until they've reached the gymnasium where the party is happening, everyone is enjoying the holiday all dressed in their costume and dancing around while music is being played, so far there hasn't been an attack yet as Peter, Gwen, and Miles went to the table where the punch and snacks are, Peter ends up grabbing a cup and pouring in punch as Miles and Gwen looked around to see that everything is fine here.
"He hasn't shown up yet, so what do we do in the meantime?" Miles asking his friends.
"What else can we do? Just blend in with everyone else." Gwen suggested to Miles.
"Blend in? How?" Miles is still confused.
Peter smiled and hands Miles a cup of punch. "Have some fun."
Miles grabbed the cup of punch as Peter and Gwen went up to the dance floor and joined the party. Miles stayed behind as Peter and Gwen are dancing to the music and having some fun, meanwhile Harry and Mary Jane came up dressed as Captain America and Black Widow, they joined up to the dance floor with their friends.
"Hey Pete, glad you made it, was getting worried this whole Jack O'Lantern thing would have you very busy with your work." Harry told Peter.
"Lucky for you, I decided to make time for some fun." Peter tells Harry.
"Well, it's nice to see you both together having some fun." Harry assumes Peter and Gwen are together.
"Wait, we're not…" Gwen corrects Harry.
"Yeah, we're…" Peter backs up Gwen.
"Oh, sorry if I spoke too soon, I just assumed that…" Harry felt embarrassed for assuming their relationship.
"It's okay Harry." Gwen tells Harry.
"Okay... guess I'll leave you two to back to dancing. Enjoy the party." Harry then walks away from his friends.
Mary Jane turns to her friends and whispers quietly. "So how is the progress in finding you know who?"
Peter leaned in closer to Mary Jane to whisper. "We have reason to believe that he's planning an attack here tonight."
Mary Jane's eyes widen as she whispers. "So what do you plan to do?"
"We'll have to wait for him to come and we'll be ready, once we take him down and bring him in, then everyone can get back to celebrating Halloween in peace. So keep your eyes open and be ready to get everyone once the storm hits." Peter whispers his plan.
"You can count on me, Tiger." Mary Jane whispers to Peter.
Mary Jane then walks away from them and keeps her eyes open in case the Jack O'Lantern makes an entrance, Peter and Gwen are left alone while the party continues, Peter then looks at Gwen in her Captain Marvel costume, she noticed him looking at her.
"What?" Gwen is curious.
"Nothing, you look great in that costume." Peter tells Gwen.
"You already told me that yesterday, Pete." Gwen blushed in front of Peter.
"I know, but I'm telling you again." Peter blushed back at Gwen.
Gwen smiled as she and Peter are having a chat, Mary Jane is looking back to see Peter and Gwen having their moment again, she can't help but be jealous of their closeness, she suspects that Peter still has a strong bond with Gwen, much stronger than her own bond to Peter is. Peter and Gwen are gazing into each other's eyes getting caught in their moment, but it got interrupted as their spider senses are tingling along with Miles's, the ceiling got blown up by an explosive and the debris came crashing down and scared everyone to run away as the Jack O'Lantern descends down inside and surprise everyone.
"Trick or Treat! Smell my feet! Give me something good to eat!" Jack O'Lantern came and crashed the party.
Peter and Gwen are among the crowd in plain sight, unable to go and change, Miles on the other hand is making his move quietly to go unnoticed as everyone here is looking up to the Jack O'Lantern, Flash Thompson steps up on behalf of Midtown High to speak up against this supervillain causing trouble and interrupting the party.
"Allow me to introduce myself, I'm…." Jack O'Lantern was just about to introduce himself to everyone.
"We know who you are, Jackass O'Lantern, what the hell are you doing here?" Flash demands the Jack O'Lantern to tell him.
"Why, this is a party after all, sorry to burst in unannounced, but I didn't get an invite." Jack O'Lantern tells Flash.
"Yeah, well, you weren't invited, ass clown. So get the hell out!" Flash demands Jack O'Lantern to get out.
"You speak so strong against someone like me, how bold of you." Jack O'Lantern is surprised how brave Flash is.
"You're not the first to threaten our school, and probably won't be the first to fail miserably, So do yourself a favor, Pumpkin Head and get lost." Flash insults Jack O'Lantern.
"I was wondering who I planned to lop off the first head tonight, thanks for making up my mind for me, let's start with you." Jack O'Lanterns threatens Flash's life.
Jack O'Lantern pulls out and powers up his plasma scythe as he plans to make Flash his first victim by decapitation, Jessie got so worried for her brother as she rushed to his side, Flash spotted his sister coming to him as his life is about to taken, Jessie stands next to her brother, Flash put his sister aside and got in front of her using himself to protect her. Jack O'Lantern hovers down closer as he's about to swing his scythe and decapitate them both until he felt himself kicked off his hovercraft hard and fell down on the ground, everyone is confused as to what just happened, Kid Arachnid shuts off his invisibility and shows himself to everyone as Flash and Jessie sees that this new spider hero just saved their lives.
"Kid Arachnid, right? Thanks, you just saved our asses." Flash thanked his savior.
"Happy to help, now go and get everyone out! I got this!" Kid Arachnid tells them and everyone to leave.
"Got it, okay everyone, time to go! Come on!" Flash tells everyone to evacuate.
Flash and Jessie are helping everyone evacuate the gymnasium as Peter and Gwen are taking this opportunity to disappear and find someplace to change into their suits to aid Kid Arachnid. Meanwhile Jack O'Lantern is getting back up to see that Kid Arachnid is responsible for knocking him off his hovercraft, the hero is distracted watching everyone leave the school to safety, Jack O'Lantern pulled out a razor bat as Kid Arachnid's spider senses are tingling, the villain tossed it towards the hero but he jumped backward and dodged the attack, Kid Arachnid turns around and sees Jack O'Lantern back on his feet.
"You missed!" Kid Arachnid taunts Jack O'Lantern.
"Did I?" Jack O'Lantern remains confident.
The razor bat still flies around in the air and turns around coming back as it homes in on Kid Arachnid, the hero's spider sense alerts him danger is coming close as he dodges slightly to his right side, but the blade from the razor bat still got close enough to cut his left shoulder a bit causing a tear in his suit and his skin to bleed from the cut, the razor bat came back to Jack O'Lantern's hand without difficulty to the villain.
"Like my new toy? It's my own design, and those fools at Oscorp find it useless." Jack O'Lantern holding the razor bat.
Jack O'Lantern is about to toss it again at Kid Arachnid until his hand got webbed up with the razor bat stuck to it, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider came in swinging and jumped down next to Kid Arachnid, the villain sees all three heroes together again here.
"Did we miss something?" Spider-Man asking Kid Arachnid
"Not at all, you're both just in time. Better late than never." Kid Arachnid tells his teammates.
Jack O'Lantern removed the webbing from his hand. "All three of you here, now the party can get very interesting."
"Give it up, Pumpkin Head, you're outnumbered." Spider-Man tells Jack O'Lantern.
"Wrong!" Jack O'Lantern has his hand in the satchel bag.
Jack O'Lantern pulls out more razor bats and tossed them towards the spider heroes as they're all homing in on all three of them. They split off and dodging all the bats coming their way as Jack O'Lantern takes the opportunity to jump back onto his hovercraft and hovers up above the ground. The spider heroes all kept on dodging the bats and countering by firing webbings at them to neutralize them. Jack O'Lantern flies in closer and swings his scythe at Spider-Man, his spider sense tingled as he jumps backward above and dodge the plasma scythe's blade. Spider-Man then strike back firing a couple of web lines past Jack O'Lantern, he then uses the lines to slingshot himself and drop kick Jack O'Lantern off the hovercraft as he fell down onto the snack table. Meanwhile there's still some razor bats flying around as Kid Arachnid uses his hands to emit venom blast all around him and short-circuit the bats that came close, they shut down and fell to the ground. Jack O'Lantern attempts to get himself back up from the snack table but Spider-Man managed to web him down to it and kept him from escaping, Kid Arachnid and Ghost-Spider came up next to Spider-Man as they've finally managed to capture Jack O'Lantern.
"Looks like the treats are on you." Spider-Man tells Jack O'Lantern.

The NYPD are outside of Midtown Science High School as many students and guest are watching the spider heroes escorting Jack O'Lantern out of the school all webbed up and powerless, some students are recording everything on smartphones as Jefferson Davis is with some officers awaiting to take Jack O'Lantern into custody for all his crimes here and at the shelter earlier, the spider heroes finally brought Jack O'Lantern before them, Spider-Man then removes the helmet off his head and reveal the face of the man underneath it, Jefferson Davis sees the man who almost killed his wife.
"Here you go, officer, Jason Macendale AKA the Jack O'Lantern." Spider-Man introduced Jason Macendale as the Jack O'Lantern.
"Thank you, Spider-Man, we'll take it from here." Jefferson Davis took the criminal into his custody. "Jason Macendale, you're under arrest for the destruction of public property, terrorizing the public at large, and multiple counts of attempt murder, you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law."
Everyone watched and recorded that the police has finally brought the Jack O'Lantern into custody and Halloween is finally safe for everyone to celebrate, Flash along with his classmates clapped their hands as they are all thankful to the heroes for saving everyone's lives here, especially Spider-Man who's made a habit of saving this school in the past. Everyone went up and greeted the heroes in person and shakes hands with them, some are taking selfies with them.
It's 7:59 PM at the Parker Residence, everyone is wearing their halloween costumes as Gwen and May are treating Miles's cut on his shoulder from his fight with Jack O'Lantern earlier, Peter and Mary Jane are in the living room watching the news on the TV of their work recorded by smartphone of them bringing in Jack O'Lantern into police custody and managed to make Halloween safe to celebrate again as many students at the school are grateful to the heroes for saving Halloween.
"Earlier tonight at Midtown Science High School, the heroes finally managed to apprehend Jason Macendale, an employee of Oscorp who goes by the name Jack O'Lantern, Mr. Macendale has commit a number of atrocities all around the city, including the attack on F.E.A.S.T., but thanks to the efforts of our local heroes, Macendale is finally in custody and Halloween is once again safe to celebrate, the students here at Midtown are grateful and giving their thanks to the heroes for saving their lives, all of New York owe the heroes a debt of gratitude."
Gwen applied alcohol onto the cotton and rubs it onto Miles's shoulder cut, he flinched by the sting of pain he feel as soon as the alcohol touched his wound.
"Ow!" Miles flinched in pain.
"Stop being a baby, Miles. When you're a superhero, it's inevitable that you'll get more injuries like these in the future, so quit whining and suck it up." Gwen tells Miles.
Gwen wraps up the bandages around his arm and finished treating Miles.
"There, all done." Gwen tells Miles.
"Don't I at least get a lollipop?" Miles tells a joke.
"Sorry, all out of lollipops." Gwen jokes back at Miles.
"I'm glad the school is intact, too bad the same can't be said about the shelter." May is disappointed in the damage Jack O'Lantern caused F.E.A.S.T..
"Don't worry, Aunt May, thanks to Damage Control, F.E.A.S.T. will be back in business very soon." Peter assures that the shelter will be back very quickly.
May felt better by Peter's words, Miles puts his Black Panther costume back on as the door bell rang, everyone got curious as to who it could be, they all approached the door carefully and opens it to find some kids in costume holding out their bags full of collected candy.
"Trick or Treat!"
Peter, Gwen, and Miles realizes that Halloween is still on and it's now very safe for anyone to go out now that Jack O'Lantern is finally in custody, Peter grabbed a bowl full of candy as he along with Gwen and Miles each grabs some candy and handed them out to kids, they all waved them goodbye after they've got their treats.
"Guess the night is still young, Halloween is still on." Peter tells his friends.
"Then let's celebrate." Gwen tells her friends.
"Agreed, Happy Halloween, everyone." Miles tells his friends.
May and Mary Jane all joined up with Peter, Gwen, and Miles as many more trick or treaters in costumes came by the Parker house, everyone inside it is handing out candy and continue celebrating Halloween in peace now.
