This is the life story of Peter Parker as the legendary hero Spider-Man. This will explore his destiny as a hero as he goes on the most difficult journey, he'll faces off against all sorts of danger and saving lives, he'll meet and team up with other heroes like himself in his long quest to becoming the greatest hero of all time.

61. III: Arcade

Volume III: Arcade

Note: This will be the eleventh chapter of Volume III, this will introduce a new cyber villain who operates under the codename Arcade, he plans to draw the heroes into a trap and transport them all into his twist virtual reality game called Murderworld, they all ended up trap inside cyberspace unable to escape as Arcade plans to broadcast his game of death to the entire world as the heroes will have no choice but to play this game in order to survive the deadly challenges they'll face as the clock is counting down as well as their lives. Meanwhile back in the real world, Mary Jane and Ganke Lee will team up together to save their friends from Arcade and free them from Murderworld before it's too late. At the same time, Peter along with Mary Jane and Gwen are all struggling with each other due to their romantic feelings causing complications in their relationships, but this is the chapter that Peter will choose which girl he loves the most, Gwen or Mary Jane. Soon Ganke Lee will play a supporting role for the team as he's about to be part of their world.

Its November 17th, the time is 7:35 PM around nighttime at the Life Foundation in Queens, a group of janitors are making their way inside the building wheeling the cart concealing their weapons, but these janitors turns out to be the mercenaries called the Enforcers, they've infiltrated the facility undetected and made their way to the R & D storage complex, the entrance is guarded by two security guards as they spotted the janitors heading this way, they stepped up to stop them from advancing any further, the Enforcer maintained their cool and have their concealed silencer pistols ready just in case.

"Stop right there, this area is restricted, except for authorized personal, you don't have the clearance to be here, fellas."

"You want my clearance? Here you go!" Montana pulls out his pistol and shot the guard dead.

The other guard got spooked as he attempts to pull out his side arm but Fancy Dan and Ox both got their guns out first and both shot the guard together, the alarms around the facility went off as they spotted a security camera nearby, they've been spotted and more security guards are heading their way, the Enforcers each pulled out their personal weapons from the cart, Fancy Dan has a submachine gun, Ox has a light machine gun, and Montana has an assault rifle, security hasn't arrived yet as they proceeded inside the R & D storage complex where all their newly develop technology is being housed, they're on the radio with the man who hired them for the job.

"Okay, we're here, what exactly are we looking for?" Montana asking his employer.

"Find a crate labelled MTU-65."

Montana and his team looks around the place for the crate with the label MTU-65, meanwhile security came inside as Fancy Dan and Ox turned around and started shooting without hesitation, while his teammates are busy holding off security, he continues his search for the crate his employer hired them to find, he searched boxes to boxes until he finally found one with the label MTU-65.

"Got it, found the crate." Montana informs his employer.

"Excellent, bring it to me immediately."

"We're on it. Ox! Get over here and help me out!" Montana calling out to Ox.

Ox stopped shooting as Fancy Dan is left to fend off security, Ox helped Montana picked up the crate carefully with his exceptional strength as its carry something important that the man who hired them wants so badly. Later they made their way to the loading bay as Ox loaded it into the back of a truck they've hijacked, Ox stayed in the back as Montana and Fancy Dan are in the cab, they drive the truck away from the Life Foundation as a squad car is chasing after them, the back door opens as Ox fires his LMG, the squad car is being riddle with bullets causing too much damage until the hood caught fire, one of the bullets hits the tire as it flipped the car off the road and it explodes in the air. The Enforcers were successful in making their escape with the precious cargo and are making their way towards Brooklyn.

It's 8:45 PM at Midtown Science High School, in the gymnasium everyone is watching a play of Romeo and Juliet, Gwen, May, and Anna Watson are among the crowd watching as the story is almost ending where Mary Jane Watson is playing as one of the main characters Juliet Capulet as she's at the moment where her character is mourning for the death of Romeo Montague played by Peter Parker, she channels her emotions into her character so spectacularly, Mary Jane has great talents as an actress, she now holds a vial of poison in her hand.

"Poison, I see, hath been his timeless end. O churl, drunk all, and left no friendly drop to help me after? I shall kiss thy lips. Haply some poison yet doth hang on them, to make me die with a restorative." Mary Jane channeling Juliet Capulet.

Mary Jane leaned and kiss Peter on the lips while he still plays dead, Gwen is watching as that kiss seemed too convincing, she couldn't help but feel jealous yet again, Mary Jane then pulled out the fake dagger from Peter's belt and holds it up as she's about to say Juliet's final phrase.

"O happy dagger... This is thy sheath... There rust and let me die." Mary Jane points the fake dagger towards herself.

Mary Jane then thrust it gently and imitates the illusion of death before the audience as he laid upon Peter's body and imitates the death scene of Romeo and Juliet, May and Anna Watson are recording it on their smartphones, the audience all clapped their hands together for their performances on stage, including Gwen who despite feeling jealous still wants to show her support to her two friends, Peter and Mary Jane.

It's now 9:05 PM at the Brighton Beach Arcade, the Enforcers are walking inside with Ox doing the heavy lifting and carrying the crate they stole from the Life Foundation, they walk around to see all sorts of arcade games from past decades, including Pac Man, Donkey Kong, and Cruis'n World. At the end of the arcade is a bunch of computer screens where a ginger haired man is sitting wearing a white suit with a green shirt underneath and a yellow bow tie with red polka dots, he goes by his codename Arcade, this man is doing some designing to his new virtual reality game he made himself called Murderworld. He paused all his worked to see that the Enforcers came back with very precious cargo, he got up and grabbed the case as the Enforcers finally arrived here in front of the man, Ox gently put down the crate in front of Arcade.

"You've finally brought it!" Arcade's eyes widen.

"It wasn't easy breaking into a secure building to fetch this thing, but we were successful never the less." Montana tells Arcade.

"Open it, I want to see it." Arcade is eager to see the prize inside the crate.

Montana and Fancy Dan each grabbed crowbars as they attempt to open it up by force, the lid opens up as they tossed it aside to see what appears to be some kind of advanced projector no one has ever seen before, except for Arcade himself who seems to have a history with this particular device.

"What the hell is that? Some kind of weapon?" Montana is confused by this thing.

"This my friend is my masterpiece, I built this myself, it has limitless applications until those fools at the Life Foundation mothballed whole the project and fired me, now it's back where it belong, with me." Arcade told them about this device.

"Look, we risked our lives fetching you this thing, now we want our money." Montana wants payment.

Arcade hands Montana the case as the Enforcer leader takes it and opens it up to see all the cash money he and his team earned from their job.

"I trust this is to your liking?" Arcade asking them if they're satisfied.

"Oh yeah, pleasure doing with you. Are you sure you don't need us for anymore jobs?" Montana asking Arcade.

"No, I can take it from here, thank you gentlemen." Arcade has concluded their business.

Montana was about to walk away until he turns back to Arcade. "Just out of curiosity, what do you plan to do with this device of yours?"

"Planning the grand opening of this new game I plan to unveil to the whole world, a game where I plan to add three particular players to play this deadly game." Arcade explains his big plan.

The Enforcers take their leaves after they got paid for their services, meanwhile Arcade stayed behind as he takes this device out of the crate and began his work to assemble it for his big plan for his new game.

It's 9:15 PM at Stan's Diner in Queens, Peter, Mary Jane, Gwen, May, and Anna are all sitting together celebrating the success of the school play both Peter and Mary Jane got to be a part of, Gwen, Peter, and Mary Jane are all sitting together on one side eating fries and drinking milkshakes while May and Anna are sitting at the other end watching the play they recorded on their smartphones, Mary Jane is playing Juliet and she's at that moment where she uses the fake dagger to kill herself.

"O happy dagger... This is thy sheath... There rust and let me die." Mary Jane quoted Juliet before delivering the final blow.

Mary Jane plunge the fake dagger gently and fell upon Peter playing Romeo, May and Anna are impressed by the performance their nephew and niece did together on stage, they made quite the pair. Mary Jane is glad that Peter got to act on stage with her, she wasn't sure if he would given his life as Spider-Man, he wasn't so bad acting himself since its part of his double life.

"By the way, thanks for helping me out, Tiger. Honestly, I'd have some doubts you'd perform." Mary Jane tells Peter.

"No problem, MJ, this is my last year of school, I'd to do something spectacular before I leave, and this is best I could do." Peter told Mary Jane.

"So what you guys think of me? My performance as an actress?" Mary Jane asking her friends for their opinion of her.

"You're were great, you certainly have a future in acting, Mary Jane." Gwen complimented Mary Jane's acting skills.

"She's right, you're amazing, MJ." Peter told Mary Jane she's amazing as she blushed by his compliment.

"I think you both looked adorable together, you both make a cute couple." Anna Watson gave her opinion on them.

Gwen was a bit disturbed by hearing this, Mary Jane and Peter didn't want to make a big deal out of this relationship as they respect Gwen Stacy too much, May could tell that this whole thing is getting to Gwen as she gave Anna Watson the look about what she said about Mary Jane and Peter make a cute couple, Anna Watson felt embarrassed saying it in front of Gwen.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't meant to..." Anna Watson felt guilty saying it out.

"It's okay, me and Peter aren't together anymore, we're only foster siblings, that's all. Don't feel too bad for me, I'll get over it.." Gwen remained as cool as she can.

Anna and May remained quiet out of respect for Gwen. Peter and Mary Jane have gotten close in these past few months since that night they've kissed after their date from Coney Island. Now their relationship has gotten more complicated since Gwen Stacy came back home and Peter is feeling conflicted with his feelings for both girls. Gwen could see that Peter and Mary Jane are only growing closer and closer than ever and her relationship with Peter is slowly fading away, but she's still loves Peter that it's pretty hard for her to see her true love and her best friend falling for each other.

Later it's now November 18th around 1:15 AM around midnight back at the Brighton Beach Arcade where Arcade himself has spent hours tinkering with the device the Enforcers stole from Life Foundation, he stopped tinkering as he wipes the sweat off his forehead, he looks all done assembling the device back to its original state as he gazed upon it. The cyber digitizing composer capable of digitizing anything it comes into contact with and transporting it into cyberspace.

"You're complete again, now to test you out." Arcade tells his device.

He walks up to the computer and types, the composer is being powered up as it's charging up it's rays, aim at it's path is a rat that Arcade plans to use as a guinea pig to see if it'll work and transport the rodent to cyberspace, Arcade straps on the googles just in case the rays are too much for the human eye.

"Alright my little rodent friend, have your fingers cross and pray this works, you're about to be the first living being to travel into cyberspace." Arcade is getting excited for this test.

The composer is fully charged as Arcade types in the command and it unleashed a beam of rays upon the rat and it began to digitize right before Arcade's eyes, the rays then transport the digitized rat into cyberspace and disappeared from reality. Arcade then turns to the computer screen where the demo of his game is showing, he then sees sometime being formed up inside the game itself, the rat has successfully been transported into the game itself, the first test was complete and the rat survived the digitizing process and is moving around in cyberspace.

Arcade smiled in success. "It worked, now to bring you back to the real world."

Arcade then types the keyboard and starting the process of pulling the rodent out of cyberspace, the composer is powering up it's rays, back insider Murderworld the rat is being digitized again and disappears from cyberspace, the composer fired its rays as it's digitizing the rat back into the real world, Arcade witness the rat is returning back into the real world as the rays has finally disappeared, Arcade walked up a little closer to see the rat, it's back alive and healthy.

"My machine truly is a masterpiece, now to set the trap for bigger rats, soon the grand opening of Murderworld will soon unveil and it shall star three heroes who must play to survive, if not, then they die." Arcade smiled sinisterly as he has something big in store for the heroes.

It's 10:34 AM at Brooklyn Visions Academy as Miles and Ganke are hanging out in the dorm room playing a video game on the PC, each playing as a couple of fighters, Miles is playing as the fighter wearing a red gi while Ganke plays as the one wearing a white gi, they're still in the middle of fighting each other as Ganke is getting the best of Miles Morales in the game, Ganke's character punched Miles's character hard that the meter finally ran out and Miles lost the game.

Ganke raised his arms up in victory. "I win again!"

"Whatever, Ganke, don't you have anything better to do than play video games on your free time?" Miles asking Ganke.

"I wish, the only thing I'm good at is computers and you're good at kicking the ass out of bad guys, it's been awhile since you asked me for anything, I kinda feel useless." Ganke feels like he doesn't have a great purpose.

"Don't say that, Ganke, where would I be without my guy in the chair? Remember that time you've hacked into the police scanners when I first started out? And what about that time I asked you to hack the fabrication machine to make my suit? I won't get this far if it wasn't for you, you were never useless." Miles reminded Ganke of all his past contributions.

"Thanks, I appreciate you making me feel like somebody. Though, there are things I still don't know about your ventures as Kid Arachnid, like who are your teammates Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider? I know that you know who they are, but how come you haven't told me, don't you trust me?" Ganke still feels left out of the loop.

"I do trust you, Ganke, but it's not my secret to give. Spider-Man trusted me enough to share his secret identity, I can't just betray that trust. But I still haven't told them about you and that you're the only friend who knows my double life as a hero." Miles told Ganke.

"I see." Ganke still isn't impressed.

"Patience Ganke, one day, I'll introduce you to them and hopefully you'll be a part of their crusade just as you're a part of mines, I promise." Miles assures Ganke.

Ganke smiled as he felt better. "Thanks Miles."

"Now I should get going, heard from Spider-Man that the Life Foundation was just hit last night by a trio of mercenaries. I'm going to help investigate, I'll call you if we need the guy in the chair." Miles tells Ganke.

"Sure, I'm just a phone call away ready at the keyboard." Ganke told Miles.

Miles grabbed his backpack and heads on out of the dorm room, as soon as Miles had left, Ganke uses his computer to access the hacking history using this computer to connect to Miles's phone to hack into the fabrication machine to make the suit two months ago, he was able to trace the signal to somewhere on Roosevelt Island but still doesn't know where it came from precisely. Ganke is getting closer to finding out where to they're based out of and maybe one day he'll learn about who Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are underneath the masks.

It's 11:45 PM at the Spider-Cave, Peter and Gwen are already there all suited up, they're investigating the robbery that happened at the Life Foundation around the same time as the play at school, they got the surveillance footages of the event happening on the small screens, all three are the Enforcers Spider-Man once fought against two years ago at the Midtown High School Incident and later sent to prison, now they're back and back to their old mercenary ways. On the big screen is the news informing the public about the robbery last night and shows off the face of the Enforcers.

"Last night at the Life Foundation headquarters, a group of mercenaries called the Enforcers infiltrated the building disguised as janitors and broke into a secure area, from there they've shot their way through security and stole something that the Life Foundation refused to tell, a number of lives were lost. These are the faces of the criminals, Jackson Brice, Daniel Brito, and Raymond Bloch, also gone by Montana, Fancy Dan, and Ox. Two years ago, these mercenaries broke into Midtown Science High School and held it hostage where one of the students almost lost her life, but thanks to Spider-Man, everyone was saved and these criminals were sent to prison. Sources from Corrections informs us that these three prisoners escaped four weeks ago from Rikers, it is still unclear how, residents in New York are advised to watch out for them as they're extremely dangerous."

"Can't believe those three clowns are out." Peter is troubled by the Enforcers.

"I haven't forgotten them, one of them almost killed me and I almost drown to death... that is until you came to my rescue." Gwen remembers that one moment.

"Yeah, I jumped into the water and saved your life." Peter also remembers that moment too.

Gwen smiled and blushed. "It was also the time someone ever had their lips on me."

Peter smiled and blushed. "Yeah, it was also my first time, that was the beginning of everything between us."

Peter and Gwen still blushes and gazed into each other's eyes getting caught in the moment again as the spark between them is still there, all of a sudden Miles came into the Spider-Cave and finds his two friends in their moment as they snapped out of it by his presence.

"Did I interrupt anything?" Miles asking his friends.

"No, of course not." Gwen looked a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, what she said." Peter is a bit embarrassed too.

"Okay? So how goes the investigation?" Miles focuses on the case.

"All we know so far is that the Enforcers broke into the Life Foundation and stole something from their R & D department, something the company doesn't want to disclose, probably because the patents are still pending." Peter informs Miles.

"You think this could be Doctor Octopus?" Miles asking Peter.

"It's possible, but he broke into the Life Foundation two months ago and only stole data instead of technology, doesn't make sense for him to break back in again. So unless Doc Ock forgot something, this could be another player." Peter told Miles his theory.

"He's right, the Enforcers are only muscles, we have to find the brain." Gwen supports Peter's theory.

"Of course... listen, there's something I want to share with you both, something I've been keeping from you." Miles wants to share something with his friends.

"What is it, Miles?" Peter is willing to listen.

"Okay, my friend Ganke, he..." Miles was about to confess the truth.

"Attention all units, we got a bomb threat happening in the bank downtown, send the bomb squad immediately and close off the area!"

"Whatever you're about to say, it'll have to wait, we got trouble downtown, let's head out." Peter tells the team.

Spider-Man and his teammates puts their masks back on as they're about to head out to find this bomb in downtown and diffuse it before it's too late, Miles wanted to tell his friends about Ganke Lee, who has been his most trusted confidant ever since he first started out with nothing but a tracksuit he made and with no training, he wanted to share his secret with them and bring Ganke into this crusade of theirs, he could be a big support to the team.

It's 12:30 at noon in the Downtown Area as the entire NYPD has evacuated the entire area and sealing it off, Spider-Man and his teammates swings onto the rooftop to see that the bank has been evacuated as the NYPD and bomb squad hasn't shown up yet, they can't wait that long for anyone to come, there's no telling if the bomb will detonate soon, they need to act.

"Looks like the bomb squad isn't here yet, we have to do this ourselves." Spider-Man tells his team.

"What? Does it look like we're the bomb squad?" Kid Arachnid doesn't like this idea.

"No, but we have no idea how much time there is, by the time they get here, it could be too late. Do you want to wait for it to go off?" Spider-Man tells Kid Arachnid.

Kid Arachnid sighed. "Okay, let's go. I just hope you know what to do when we do find it."

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all jumped and swings towards the bank, they finally arrived inside to find it completely evacuated the moment the threat was reported, they see a vault door opened and what appears to be some kind of explosive device inside.

"There is it, approach carefully and stay alert, it could go off at any moment." Spider-Man advised his teammates.

All three heroes enters the vault and approaches the device very carefully, Spider-Man walked up for a closer look, he doesn't see any timer nor a receiver, he then carefully opens the device to take a peek inside, he see no explosive component and the wiring is all wrong, Spider-Man looked very confused as his teammates have noticed something is strange by his reaction.

"What's wrong, Spidey?" Ghost-Spider asking Spider-Man.

"Something is not right, this bomb is a fake." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

"I don't get it? Why would someone go through all this trouble to call in a fake bomb threat?" Kid Arachnid is confused by this logic.

Spider-Man's eyes widen. "Get out of the vault! It's a trap!"

All of a sudden the vault door closes itself as the heroes all attempts to escape, but they were too late at it closed and sealed itself tight trapping the heroes inside unable to escape, they all attempt to try to unlock the vault from the inside but it's impossible even all their powers combined.

"I knew it, this was a trap." Spider-Man told his teammates.

"Of course it was a trap!" Arcade speaking through the speaker.

"Who are you?" Spider-Man asking whoever this mystery man is.

"You'll find out soon enough." Arcade tells the heroes.

All of a sudden their spider senses tingle together, the entire vault is dispersing gas all around the room as the heroes caught breathing contact, they then started to feel paralyzed and feeling their limbs going numb. the ceiling suddenly opens up as the composer is lower itself down and aims itself at the heroes, first target is Kid Arachnid.

"What is that?" Kid Arachnid looking at the device.

The composer is charging up as the heroes have a bad feeling about this, it then fired the first beam upon Kid Arachnid as he's being digitized right before Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider's eyes, he suddenly disappears along with the rays.

"KID ARACHNID!" Spider-Man yells out for Kid Arachnid.

"One down, two more to go." Arcade has claimed Kid Arachnid.

The composer is charging up again and aims itself at Ghost-Spider as Spider-Man is paralyzed and powerless to do something to protect it, Ghost-Spider looks back at Spider-Man as the composer fired its beams and digitizes her right before his eyes, she then disappears just like Kid Arachnid.

"NO! GHOST-SPIDER!" Spider-Man yells out for Ghost-Spider.

"And now you, Spider-Man." Arcade has claimed Ghost-Spider and now turns to Spider-Man.

Spider-Man looks up to see the composer charging up for its final shot to claim him like it did his friends, the beam fired upon Spider-Man as he becomes digitized and disappears from reality, he along with Kid Arachnid and Ghost-Spider are all now digital. The vault door opens up as Arcade comes inside to see that all three spider heroes have been captured, he walks up to the composer and pulls out the storage drive where all three heroes are saved up for safe keeping.

"Now you're all mine, time for the real game to begin very soon." Arcade holds up the drive.

At the same time at F.E.A.S.T., May along with her employees is helping feed the homeless who haven't had breakfast yet, today's breakfast is wheatcakes and eggs for everyone, Mary Jane suddenly comes into the shelter as May Parker spotted her all alone, she could tell that she has something on her mind as May is about to ask one of her employees to take over for her.

"Take over, would you?" May asking her employee.

May walked away from the feeding table and heads towards Mary Jane who came to talk with May about her relationship with Peter and what it's doing to Gwen, how it's affecting her emotionally, something Mary Jane doesn't feel good about for her friend.

"Is everything okay, Mary Jane?" May asking Mary Jane.

"No, not really, can we talk?" Mary Jane isn't doing well.

"Sure, come into my office." May is willing to hear Mary Jane.

May leads Mary Jane away from the crowd towards her office as they need some privacy to talk alone, May has a feeling what this conversation is about, her and Peter.

"Okay, we can talk, but I have a feeling I know what this is about." May has her suspicions.

"Is it that obvious?" Mary Jane asking May.

"From your reaction yesterday, I could tell this about your relationship with Peter and how it's affecting Gwen. Am I right?" May told Mary Jane.

Mary Jane sighed. "Yes... I know Gwen is acting strong, but deep down I could see that it's bothering her."

"And now you're feeling conflicted between your romantic feelings for Peter and your friendship with Gwen that you don't want to see her hurt." May says to Mary Jane.

"I know that Peter and Gwen aren't together anymore, but I could tell that she's still in love with Peter, just like me, it's been hard for all of us." Mary Jane tells May.

May sighed. "I thought by now that Peter would figure out his own feelings of which one of you he loves the most, but I could see that's still causing conflict with all three of you."

"None of us meant for this to happen, but it did whether we like it or not, Gwen left for London, me and Peter grew closer, and now Gwen is back home, we're all caught up in this love triangle that Peter still hasn't decided who he loves the most. If he pick one of us, the other would end up heartbroken." Mary Jane explained how their love triangle goes.

"I see... I know that Peter doesn't want neither of you to be heartbroken, but even if it hurts one of you, he'll still need to chose one of you in the end, none of you can live like this, this can't continue on." May told Mary Jane this love triangle can't go on.

Mary Jane realizes May is right. "I know."

"I'm going to have a serious talk with Peter, none of you can keep this going any longer, this is only way to stop this suffering you're all feeling, even if one of you feels a little pain." May is being wise in her words.

After they're done with their conversation, May and Mary Jane exited the office as everyone inside the shelter are watching the screens all around concerning the fake bomb threat and the disappearance of the three spider heroes who were last spotted at the sight.

"The NYPD bomb squad was able to locate the device, but it turned out to be fake bomb, completely harmless, it is unclear as to what the purpose of a fake bomb call is about, but sources within the NYPD has confirmed that the three local heroes Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid were last seen at the sight, but they've never came out. Their status so far is still unknown, no telling if they're still alive or dead."

Mary Jane and May are shocked to learn that Peter, Gwen, and Miles are now officially missing, they fear that something terrible has happened to them.

"Oh Peter, Gwen, where are you two?" Mary Jane is more worried for her friends missing.

Sometime later, Spider-Man suddenly wakes up to find out that he's very much alive and well, even though he was shot by some kind of laser beam, he looks around to see all sorts of strange things like a castle and some monuments, he looked very confused as where is he and what's going on here, the only thing he remembers is him and his friends all shot by a laser and disappearing, yet somehow he's still alive, he kept on looking until he then spotted Kid Arachnid and Ghost-Spider nearby laying on the ground.

"Ghost-Spider! Kid Arachnid!" Spider-Man running and calling out to his friends.

Kid Arachnid and Ghost-Spider are waking up and finds out they're still alive somewhere that is not New York, Spider-Man came up and hugged Ghost-Spider all relieved in front of Kid Arachnid seeing them in their moment again.

"Ghost-Spider, oh, I'm glad you're alive." Spider-Man hugging Ghost-Spider.

"Yes, of course I'm alive, I'm okay." Ghost-Spider hugs Spider-Man back.

"Oh, I'm alive too, thank you for asking, Spider-Man." Kid Arachnid being sarcastic.

Spider-Man stopped hugging Ghost-Spider and looks back at Kid Arachnid. "Sorry, got carried away, I'm glad you're okay, too."

"Sure, just don't hug me. Where are we?" Kid Arachnid asking where they all are.

"I don't know, but clearly we're not in New York anymore." Spider-Man looks are the strange place.

"Very perceptive, insect!" Arcade's voice coming from somewhere.

"I know that voice, who are you? Show yourself!" Spider-Man wants to know who's speaking to them.

"As you wish!" Arcade's voice.

All of a sudden, a screen just shows itself way up above their heads, they see a ginger haired man looking down upon them, the spiders are curious as to who he is and what he wants with them.

"Where are my manners, allow me to introduce myself, I go by my codename Arcade and this here where you all stand is my video game, the most deadliest game ever created, welcome to Murderworld." Arcade introduced himself and welcomes them into Murderworld.

"Murderworld? What do you mean video game?" Spider-Man is very confused.

"That's right, hero, thanks to my device, you've all been digitized and sent into cyberspace, to here, to my Murderworld." Arcade explained how they got here.

"But why us?" Ghost-Spider asking Arcade.

"I designed my game to be unstoppable, but I need certain players who are strong enough to survive the deadly challenges, and who better to play this game than the three of you." Arcade explained why them.

"So you're the one who called in the fake bomb threat? All this deception is just to lure us three into a trap?" Spider-Man figured it out.

"Now you're catching on, all I had to do is set the trap with cheese and you three rats all fell for it. Now you're all trapped inside my game and the only way out is to win." Arcade explained how to get out.

"And what if we refuse to play your sick twisted game?" Ghost-Spider is curious.

"Funny you should mention that, very well, let me show you." Arcade's screen switches to the timer.

"What's with the timer?" Kid Arachnid is curious.

"This is the countdown to how much time you all have left, you only have two hours left to play the game and win before the timer runs out. If it countdowns to zero, then the game will be permanently deleted for good, and since you're all digital and now part of the game, if that happens, then you all get deleted too along with the game." Arcade told them the fate that awaits them if they fail.

"You had to ask." Spider-Man tells Kid Arachnid.

"So sit tight, kids, the real game is about to begin and everyone in the whole world will witness you three in action. Best of luck to you all, bye." Arcade's screen turns off and disappears.

"This is bad." Ghost-Spider has a bad feeling.

"Yeah, I guess we have no choice but to play this game in order to survive, let's just hope that we find a way out of this cyber reality before it's too late." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid are awaiting for the game to begin as they're about to play the most deadliest video game in their lives.

(Real World)

Back to reality, Arcade is still based out of the Brighton Beach Arcade where the entire place is closed down for the day as he has the composer here he used to take the heroes through cyberspace, Arcade himself is sitting in front of the computer screens as he's about to broadcast his new video game online to across the entire world for everyone to watch.

"Ok, it's showtime." Arcade smiles with excitement in his eyes.

The screen shows off the title 'MURDERWORLD' along with the 'PRESS START' down below the title, Arcade sure has a sick sense of humor when it comes to video games.

Mary Jane and May are inside the office on the phones trying to reach Peter, Gwen, and Miles hoping that one of them will pick up but so far no answer as they're more worried than ever, all three heroes are currently unreachable since Arcade abducted them and transported them into cyberspace.

"Anything?" May asking Mary Jane.

"Nothing, it's like their phones and their lines are no longer in service." Mary Jane still has no luck.

Rio Morales opens up the door. "May, you better come out and see this."

May and Mary Jane are wondering what's got Rio Morales shaking like this, they all walked out of the office as everyone is watching the screen to see a ginger haired man on the screens, one of the employees tries changing the channels to lose this hacked broadcast, but's it's impossible since Arcade is on every channel, Mary Jane and May are curious as to what this is about.

"Hello people of the worried, I apologize for interrupting your regular broadcast, but I have a big announcement, you're all about to have the honor of witnessing the biggest video game ever created, it's got all sorts of violence and mayhem that makes video games so great, it's called Murderworld, starring this deadly game is three very special guests, I'm sure you all recognized them." Arcade broadcast to everyone.

The screens all show the game Murderworld as inside the game itself are the three heroes Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid are playing at the main characters, Mary Jane and May are both equally shocked to learnt that they're now inside the game itself.

(Brooklyn Visions Academy)

Ganke Lee is inside his dorm room watching on his laptop that his best friend is trapped inside cyberspace along with Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider, all three of them are in great danger, Arcade swtiched back and takes control of the screens as he has more to say to the world.

"That's right everyone, the three guest stars are Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid, the three heroes of New York City, and yes, they are very real, I have the technology to transport them into the game itself, now all three must play in order to survive the deadly challenges ahead, they have two hours to complete the game before time runs out, or else they'll all be deleted permanently. Ladies and Gentlemen, let the games begin." Arcade started the game.

The timer on the screen is countdown, Ganke is shocked to hear that his Miles and his hero friends are on a ticking clock and needs to complete the game before the clock runs out and they all get permanently deleted. Ganke can't sit by and do nothing, he closes his laptop and puts it into the backpack along with his other tech, his friend Anya came by to check up on her friends, only to find Ganke all alone.

"Ganke, have you seen this?" Anya asking Ganke.

"Yeah, I seen it, Anya.. Listen, I should get going, I have someplace to be." Ganke is eager to leave.

"Where are you going?" Anya is curious.

"Somewhere I really need to be, wish me luck." Ganke told Anya before he leaves the room.

Ganke couldn't say much to Anya as he still keeps Miles's double life as a hero from her, but right now he's got bigger concerns, his friends Miles is in grave danger along with his teammate, Ganke knows only one place he really needs to go to help Miles and his friends. Anya has no idea what's got Ganke like this, but she heads back to her dorm room to watch what's happening on the screen showing the heroes are trapped in Murderworld.

(Murderworld)

Back in Murderworld, the heroes are still trapped inside the video game as the clock is ticking, they only got 1 hours and 57 minutes left to play to win, otherwise they'll all get deleted inside the game, now the heroes are figuring out a way to win the game and get out of Murderworld before it's too late.

"Great, so now we're playing this game?" Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.

"We have no choice, Ghost-Spider, if we do nothing, we'll be deleted before the clock runs out. The only way out is to win the game." Spider-Man tells Ghost-Spider.

Ghost-Spider sighed. "Okay, any ideas how to win or where we should go?"

"I might have a suggestion, as a gamer myself, it's my experience that the big structures like that castle over there are usually where the final game is held. So we should go that way!" Kid Arachnid points towards the Murderworld castle.

"You make sound so easy." Ghost-Spider tells Kid Arachnid.

"Its not, you heard Arcade, there are deadly challenges ahead and no video games is without challenges. But the only to win is to beat those challenges." Kid Arachnid told his teammates.

Spider-Man sighed. "Let's get going before the we all get deleted."

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all rushed towards the castle as the timer above the whole game is ticking down until it shuts down and gets deleted along with them in it.

It's now 2:15 PM at the Spider-Cave as Mary Jane and May are at the supercomputer watching the event happening on the big screen, they can't do anything other than watch the heroes roam around Murderworld playing the game and trying to survive, Mary Jane is on the phone speaking to one of the Avengers hoping they could help save Spider-Man and his friends from immediate danger, Mary Jane hangs up the phone as she doesn't have any good news to give, May is curious to see how the call went.

"Well?" May is wondering if Mary Jane has any success.

"Unfortunately everyone is on missions of their own, there's no one available to help, Spider-Man and his friends are on their own, I'm sorry I couldn't give you any good news." Mary Jane tells May.

"It's alright, Mary Jane, it was a good effort." May sighed in disappointment. "What are we going to do?"

"I don't know, even the cops aren't having so much luck finding this Arcade guy and time is running out."

"If only we have a way to find this guy and save them before it's too late." May is more worried than ever.

(Outside)

At the same time outside on Roosevelt Island, a taxi cab is driving around the island as Ganke Lee is using his laptop and tech to trace the origins of the signal he once hacked couple months ago and follows it to its source, he doesn't have an exact location yet as all he can do is drive around until he picks up something, all of a sudden his tech picked up the signal and it's close.

"Stop the car, this is my stop." Ganke tells the cabbie.

The taxi cab suddenly stops as Ganke Lee got out and paid the cabbie money for driving him here, the car left as Ganke is walking around the open fields to the source of the signal and hopes to find this Spider-Cave his friend once mentioned. He keeps on walking with his tech following the signal until he finally arrived at the entrance of what appears to be a subway tunnel closed by a steel door and a car parked in front.

"A subway tunnel? I don't get it?" Ganke is confused.

Ganke looks around the entrance scanning until he found something hidden in one of the bricks, it's a control panel and Ganke figures that it must be the only way to access and open the entrance to the Spider-Cave. He found a USB port on the panel, he pulls out his USB cable and plug it into this phone, then he connect the other end into the USB port, Ganke uses his expertise in computers to hack the panel, after a brief moment, he managed to crack the code and unlocks the entrance as the steel door is opening up, he pulls the cable out of the port and heads on inside the tunnel.

(Inside)

Ganke kept on walking down deep inside until he finally arrives at the Spider-Cave, his eyes are amazed by how big this place is, it's hidden inside an abandoned subway equipped with all sort of tech and equipment at the heroes disposal, he then spotted a red haired girl and an older woman at the supercomputer looking at the live footage of their friends inside Murderworld, Ganke is still looking around amazed by the beauty of this place.

"Whoa, this place is amazing!" Ganke likes the Spider-Cave.

All of a sudden, Mary Jane and May turns around as soon as they heard someone's voice, they see a 14 year old Korean-American boy here inside the Spider-Cave, Mary Jane immediately recognized him as a friend of Miles Morales, Ganke recognized her as the girl he once met at the circus along with Peter and Gwen.

"Ganke Lee?" Mary Jane is surprised to see Ganke here.

"You know this boy?" May asking Mary Jane.

"Yeah, he's a close friend of Miles Morales, he introduced him to us once. What are you doing here, Ganke?" Mary Jane asking Ganke.

"Funny, I was going to ask you the same thing." Ganke wanted to tell Mary Jane the same question.

"If you're here, then that means that you know your friend Miles Morales is Kid Arachnid, don't you?" Mary Jane has her suspicions.

"Yeah, I came here because my friend is in danger. What about you? Why are you here?" Ganke still wants to know her story.

Mary Jane sighed. "Since you're here, I guess it's important you know too."

"Know what?" Ganke is curious.

"My friends Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy are the heroes Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider." Mary Jane confessed the truth.

Ganke's eyes widen. "Whoa, no way! Peter and Gwen are Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider!"

"Okay, now that we're all done sharing secrets, can we get back to the matter at hand? Like figuring out a way to save the kids?" May telling Mary Jane and Ganke.

"That's why I'm here, I was hoping this place might hold the answer, I'd figured that Miles had LoJacked his suit in case of emergencies." Ganke tells Mary Jane.

"Yeah, we tried that already, but no luck." Mary Jane told Ganke.

"What about the Avengers? Spider-Man is one of them?" Ganke asking about the Avengers.

"We tried that too, but they're unavailable at this moment. Right now, we got nothing to go on." Mary Jane told Ganke.

"Have you used this supercomputer to track down this Arcade guy?" Ganke suggested using the supercomputer.

"We don't know how, I'm not as techno savvy with computers like Peter and Gwen are." Mary Jane told Ganke.

"I might be able to help you out with that, may I?" Ganke offers his expertise in computers.

"You know your way with a computer?" May asking Ganke.

"Who do you think help Miles hack the fabrication machine with just a smartphone and a laptop?" Ganke confessed his role.

"That was you?" Mary Jane is surprised by this revelation.

"I was able to trace back that signal to find my way here to your secret hideout, and now I'll help you find our friends, may I?" Ganke asking Mary Jane.

Mary Jane nodded her head. "Okay, go ahead and work your magic."

Ganke smiled as he walks up to the supercomputer and started typing in the keyboards, Mary Jane and May are watching Ganke doing his work in tracking down the source of the signal Arcade is using to broadcast his live feed of the Murderworld gameplay, he's tracing the signal to the Eastern Seaboard, and towards the five boroughs.

(Brighton Beach)

Arcade is watching his own video game of the three spider heroes playing the game to survive, until his screen is beeping red as someone is attempting to track his broadcast signal, someone is looking for him.

"So someone is looking for me, not on my watch." Arcade tells himself.

He then types his fingers on the keyboard as he attempts to deliver something for whoever is attempting to find him, Arcade is also a master in computers as he's attempting to beat this hacker at his own game.

(Spider-Cave)

Ganke is tracing the broadcast signal towards Brooklyn, but then something unexpected happens as the entire screen blacked out, Ganke along with Mary Jane and May are spooked as to what just happened, Ganke was so close to finding Arcade's hideout but now he can't.

"What just happened?" Mary Jane asking Ganke.

"I don't know, someone is locking me out." Ganke is attempting to go back online.

"Not someone!" Arcade's voice on the speakers that surprised everyone here. "I admit, it was a close effort to try to find me, but futile. You think you can find me? Just try!"

All of a sudden, the supercomputer along with some of the tech around here have suddenly short-circuited and overload everything, the lights have shut off as the entire room has gone dark, everyone inside the Spider-Cave are unable to see anything, they all pulled out their smartphones and turned on the flashlights as most of the electronics are dead thanks to Arcade's virus.

"What just happened here?" May is curious.

"He found out we were looking for him, he basically locked us out of the system and uploaded a virus telling all our systems to destroy themselves, and they did." Ganke explained what Arcade has done.

Mary Jane sighed. "We were so close and now we're back to square one."

"Not necessary, I got a glimpse of where Arcade might be broadcasting from, he's in Brooklyn, probably somewhere along the southern side near the shores." Ganke still has a lead.

"That's still a lot of territory to cover." Mary Jane told Ganke.

"Not if I could scan for the signal while roaming around there, If I pick up the signal, I might be able to piggyback on the signal and follow it to the source." Ganke has another way to find them.

"You can do that?" Mary Jane is surprised.

"How else did you think I found my way here? But I have to be out there scanning for the signal." Ganke told Mary Jane.

"Okay, then I'm coming with you." Mary Jane is going with Ganke.

"Are you two serious? You're both going to go out to find a criminal hacker who took my nephew and his friends?" May is worried for Ganke and Mary Jane.

"We have to." Mary Jane isn't afraid facing the risks.

"It's too dangerous!" May protest against this idea.

"We have no choice, if we do nothing, those three may never come out alive and we may never see them again. They're all running out of time, this could be our only chance to save them before it's too late, we have to do this." Mary Jane won't back down from this.

May doesn't like the idea of Mary Jane and Ganke risking their lives to save Peter, Gwen, and Miles from certain danger since neither of them have powers and could face danger themselves if they go after Arcade, but May realizes that Mary Jane is right, they can't do nothing and let them die, they have an opportunity to save them before it's too late.

"Be careful and come back home, both of you." May tells Mary Jane and Ganke.

"We will, grab you stuff, Ganke, we're going out. May, I'll need to borrow your car." Mary Jane tells Ganke and May.

May hands Mary Jane the keys to her car outside, Ganke is picking up all his tech he'll need to track down the broadcast signal and to locate Arcade, Mary Jane went to the table and picked up a pair of Spider-Man's web shooters, too bad this place doesn't have the Iron Spider Armor since it's still in repairs after the AIM incident. Afterwards, Mary Jane and Ganke both walk down the tunnel towards the outside. They then got inside the car with Mary Jane talking the wheel, both of them are driving towards danger in hopes they save Peter, Gwen, and Miles in time, they're their friends only hope.

The time is 2:45 PM inside Murderworld as they have only 1 hour and 15 minutes, the heroes are walking towards small town around the castle as they're attempting to win the game before the timer runs out and they all get deleted along with the game they're in.

"Why don't we just find a way to jump out of this game just like Wreck-It Ralph?" Kid Arachnid suggested to the group.

"Yeah, I don't think it works like that in here." Spider-Man isn't being enthusiastic.

Kid Arachnid sighed. "Why couldn't we be transported into a friendly video game like Super Mario or Legend of Zelda?"

"Seriously? That's what you're thinking off?" Ghost-Spider told Kid Arachnid.

"What? Doesn't hurt to have a little enthusiasm, especially in situations like this." Kid Arachnid trying to cheer everyone up.

"Can we all stay focus? It's been like 45 minutes since the game started and so far we haven't ran into any kind of trouble." Spider-Man tell his teammates.

All of a sudden their spider sense tingles as White Rabbit jumped down along with Walrus and Panda-Mania as they're blocking their way to the castle, all three heroes are confused by their presence since they all got capture and sent to the Raft.

"You spoke too soon, Spidey." Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.

"White Rabbit, Walrus, and Panda-Mania? We already took care of those guys and sent them to the Raft, what are they doing here?" Spider-Man is very confused.

"Oh these aren't really the same villains you've faced, they're only computer generated avatars of the villains you've already faced. I thought they could prove to be a challenge, and they're not the only villains you all have to face." Arcade's voice speaking to the heroes.

"Is that suppose to scare us, we took down the originals before and we'll take down these fakes just as easily!" Spider-Man isn't showing fear.

"We'll see." Arcade's voice before he disappears.

White Rabbit uses her umbrella to start shooting as the heroes all split up in separate directions, Spider-Man does some back flips dodging the bullets, Walrus charged in at Kid Arachnid and tackled him hard sending the hero up in the air crashing down to the ground, Kid Arachnid then see Walrus jumps up for a strong dive down upon him, he back flips away as Walrus crashed down on the ground. Meanwhile Ghost-Spider is busy taking on Panda-Mania who is tossing some punches as the hero bob and weaves the punches, she them strike back with a spinning heel kick, she successfully took down Panda-Mania as the villain then de-digitized right before her eyes.

"Guys, they're not real, don't hold back!" Ghost-Spider informed her teammates.

"Got it!" Kid Arachnid got the message.

Kid Arachnid then webs up a line onto Walrus's arm as the villain pulls the line, Kid Arachnid came in flying towards him with his fist charged up, he came in striking back at Walrus with a venom punch to the face, Walrus fell down and de-digitized just like Panda-Mania. Spider-Man fired up a couple of webs past White Rabbit, he slingshots him towards White Rabbit and strikes with a drop kick to the villain, she fell down and de-digitized, all three supervillains are all gone.

"That was easy." Ghost-Spider tells her teammates.

"These first villains are suppose to be easy, the next ones will be much harder, trust me." Kid Arachnid tells his teammates.

"Let's keep going, we got an hour and ten minutes left on the clock, the window is closing soon on us." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

All three spider heroes proceeded towards the castle hoping to win the game before the clock runs out on them, but they all know there will be more challenges ahead of them the close they get to winning the game.

At the same time as Mary Jane is driving the car for an hour around the freeway as they left Bath Beach and heading towards Brighton Beach as Ganke is using his device to pick up on the signal and hopefully lead them to Arcade's hideout and possibly to their friends, but Mary Jane is feeling enthusiastic as an hour has passed and their friends only got an hour left to stay alive.

Mary Jane sighed. "It's been an hour and we still have nothing to go on! They're running out of time!"

"Look, I'm doing my best here, I'm worried about them too, Miles is my best bud and I want to save him along with your friends." Ganke tells Mary Jane.

Mary Jane calms herself down while driving. "I'm so sorry, Ganke, I didn't mean to snap at you."

"It's okay, I get it, I was hoping to find the signal around here, but haven't had any luck so far." Ganke tells Mary Jane.

"I'm sure you'll find it, just have faith in yourself." Mary Jane tells Ganke.

Ganke smiles feeling better. "Thanks... You must care about Spider-Man so much? Are you like his girlfriend or something?"

"No, I'm... like you, Peter trusts me with his secret, and so does Gwen." Mary Jane told Ganke.

"Oh, I thought for sure that one of your girls was his girlfriends, I saw you both with him at the circus, remember?" Ganke told Mary Jane.

"Right... it's complicated right now, me and my best friend Gwen are in love with him." Mary Jane confessed to Ganke.

Ganke is stunned. "Wow, he's quite lucky with the ladies."

"Yes, he is." Mary Jane smiled until Ganke's device picked up something. "What is that?"

"We got something, picked up a signal, it's coming from Brighton Beach." Ganke smiled as they have a lead.

"Finally, let's go!" Mary Jane shifts into a high gear.

Mary Jane drives the car as fast towards Brighton Beach as she can, they finally have a lead to find Arcade, there is hope after all.

Later back inside Murderworld, the timer has 25 minutes left on the clock, Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid are running until they finally arrived at the gate that leads up to the entrance of the castle, they rushed and proceeded ahead but their way got interrupted as computer generated versions of the Sinister Six appears consisting of Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Vulture, Sandman, Electro, and Mysterio are blocking their way to the finish line, the heroes are going to have to fight their way through the Sinister Six to reach the other side.

"You know the drill, let's take down these fakes." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

Electro strikes first as he unleashed a storm of electricity upon the heroes, they all split up to avoid the electrical strike, Ghost-Spider then sees smoke forming up all around as Mysterio is attempting to use his illusions of himself to confuse her, Ghost-Spider knows what to do against Mysterio as she closed her eyes and let her spider sense aid in her fight in locating the real Mysterio, all of the Mysterios unleashed their attacks using their palm lasers as Ghost-Spider sensed which is real, she jumped up and drops down for a drop kick on Mysterio as he disappears by the hit. Doctor Octopus is unleashing his tentacles to attack Spider-Man as he jumps and twist in the air dodging each of them, he then web up a line onto Doc Ock and pulls himself in for a flying knee strike as he took out the fake Doc Ock and he disappears.

"Two down, four to go." Spider-Man tells himself.

Electro then fired an electrical strike upon Spider-Man, but Kid Arachnid got in the way to shield him by taking in the charge, he's the only one who can withstand Electro's attack, Kid Arachnid is channeling Electro's power into his hands, he then jumps up and strikes back at Electro with a strong venom punch to the face, the villain disappears after that hit. Vulture came in flying towards Ghost-Spider as she webs him up and swings him around, Sandman sees Ghost-Spider spinning around Vulture in the air, he enlarged his fist and extend his arm to punch Ghost-Spider, she sense him striking back as she swings Vulture towards Sandman's fist and took the impact, Vulture disappears afterwards.

"Four down, two to go." Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.

Spider-Man gave a thumbs up, but he then senses Kraven swinging around his machete as the hero does a backflip and kicked off the machete off Kraven's hand simultaneously, Kraven then switches to using a bola and tossing it towards Spider-Man, the hero jumps up above the tossed bola as he fired a webbing at the bola and tossed it back towards Kraven, trapping him inside the bola itself, Spider-Man landed in a three point stance and rushed to execute the superman punch, Kraven got hit hard and disappears. Meanwhile Kid Arachnid is fighting against Sandman in his enlarged sand form striking back by slamming his fists down hoping to hit the hero, Kid Arachnid has been successful in dodging his attack, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider rushed to aid their teammate by firing some web grenades at Sandman and entrapping him inside big piles of webbing, Kid Arachnid picked up a boulder nearby and tossed it hard toward Sandman as he fell down into the river around the gate, the villain got trapped down by the boulder and is all wet. Kid Arachnid looked down as Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider joined up next to him looking down too.

"All together, now!" Kid Arachnid tells his teammates.

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all fired down webbing down into the river Sandman is trapped in, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider used their taser webs to shock the water acting as a conductor for the electrical shock they're delivering, Sandman is being shocked in his wet form, Kid Arachnid used his venom blast to deliver the final blow and shocked Sandman with too much voltage, the villains suddenly disappears, they've succeeded in defeating the fake Sinister Six easily using their teamwork and experience against the villains they've already took down.

"And this makes zero." Kid Arachnid tells his teammates.

"Okay, let's get going, we're almost out of time!" Spider-Man tells his teammates.

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all went past the gate and heads towards the castle itself to reach the end of the game before time runs out for them all.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

Arcade is still watching as those three heroes overcome all the obstacles and challenge he threw at them without difficulty, now they're getting closer to beating this game of his that's supposed to be unbeatable, he checks the stats on his computer to see that everyone is cheering for the heroes to beat this game and survive.

Arcade sighed. "Those three are more formidable players than I thought. But luckily, I still have one last challenge for them, an ace up my sleeve."

Arcade smiled as he isn't too worried as he has something in store for the three heroes at the end of the line.

(Outside)

Meanwhile outside of Brighton Beach Pier, a car is coming up and parked itself, Mary Jane and Ganke both got out as Ganke traced the broadcast signal coming from the public arcade ahead on the pier, they finally found the hideout of Arcade, Mary Jane pulled out some ski masks to hide their faces before proceeding ahead.

"So the guy calling himself Arcade is hiding out in the arcade, how obvious." Ganke tells Mary Jane.

"Here, you'll need this." Mary Jane hands Ganke a ski mask.

"What is this for?" Ganke took the mask.

"You need to hide your face once we get inside, there's no telling what we're go up against, but hopefully this Arcade guy will be nothing but just a computer nerd with zero fight in him." Mary Jane tells Ganke.

"And if he doesn't, what then?" Ganke is curious.

"Then I'll have to kick his ass." Mary Jane will improvise.

"Can you?" Ganke is curious.

"Of course, I have some martial arts training from Peter and Gwen themselves, being in this life means facing trouble. Just stick with me and you'll be fine." Mary Jane tells Ganke.

"Okay, let's get going. They only got 15 minutes left on the clock." Ganke puts the ski mask on.

Mary Jane puts her ski mask on as she and Ganke proceeded ahead carefully to the Arcade to face the villain Arcade and save their friends.

(MurderWorld)

Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid are heading up the stairs towards the top of the tower as they have a feeling that's where the finish line is, they finally arrived there to find it unguarded, but they were mistaken as a computer generated version of Venom dropped down and took them by surprise, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are shocked to see Venom as they both know how much of a challenge he was in real life for the both of them, this challenge might prove more difficult than the others.

"Venom, should've figured he's the final challenge." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

"I heard about this guy, apparently he's one of your toughest opponents." Kid Arachnid heard about Venom.

"You have no idea, the real thing was too tough for me and Ghost-Spider to take together, we were barely luck to defeat him." Spider-Man told Kid Arachnid.

"Back then, you both didn't have me." Kid Arachnid tells Spider-Man.

"That's true, meaning you could be our secret weapon against Venom." Ghost-Spider tells Kid Arachnid.

Venom aims his wrists and fired off black webbing as all three heroes split up and went there separate ways, Ghost-Spider fires off a volley of webbing at Venom as the villain jumps up and swings around, he then webs her and pulls her in for a drop kick, he kicked Ghost-Spider hard towards a wall with spikes as Spider-Man jumps up and caught her, he pushed her away from the spikes as they both are in each other's arms with their faces so close to one another, they both caught in their moment as their feelings intensified.

"Hey." Spider-Man whispered.

"Hey." Ghost-Spider whispered.

"Ah, guys! If you're not too busy embracing each other, can we focus on the fight?" Kid Arachnid still engaged in combat against Venom.

Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider snapped out of their moment and got back up to assist Kid Arachnid in their fight against Venom, all three heroes are having difficulty in defeating this computer generated version of the villain and they got about 8 minutes left on the clock.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

Back in the real world, Arcade is sitting in his chair watching the screens of the event happening inside Murderworld, all three heroes are fighting the biggest challenge against Venom, Arcade smiled as he loves his computer generated creation of Venom besting the three heroes as there's only 7 minutes left. Unknown to him, Mary Jane and Ganke managed to find their way inside undetected and hide them behind the arcade games to avoid being spotted, they found Arcade himself watching the screens.

"There he is, but how do we get our friends out of there?" Mary Jane whispered to Ganke.

"I don't know, but maybe they might know a way. I have an idea." Ganke pulls out his tablet and works his magic.

"What are you doing?" Mary Jane is wondering.

"I'm hacking into the game and contacting them to see if they have any ideas, it's all we can do." Ganke explained to Mary Jane.

(MurderWorld)

Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are distracting Venom by unleashing a volley of webbing, Kid Arachnid managed to sneak around as he charged up his hand and charges at Venom from behind about to execute a venom punch, but the villain sensed Kid Arachnid coming in as he turns around and strikes back with a spinning back fist, Kid Arachnid got hit pretty hard from that strike, he lost the element of surprise as Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are working together to keep Venom away from Kid Arachnid, the young hero is getting back up to help until he got a communication from someone he recognized.

"Kid Arachnid? Kid Arachnid, do you read me?" Ganke contacting Kid Arachnid.

"Ganke? How?" Kid Arachnid is surprised.

"It's long story and not one I have time for, me and Mary Jane are here at the hideout, we came to free you, but we don't how. How did you and your friends get into the game in the first place?" Ganke asking Kid Arachnid.

"This Arcade guy has some kind of laser tech that can turn us digital and transports us into cyberspace." Kid Arachnid explained how they ended up inside the game.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

Arcade noticed something strange on one of the screens, Kid Arachnid is speaking to someone who isn't his teammates, he types the keyboards and found out that somebody is hacking into the game, he's attempting to trace the source and it's coming from inside this Arcade itself. Ganke and Mary Jane are hiding nearby and looking around to find the tech Kid Arachnid told Ganke about, Mary Jane pointed out for Ganke as she found the device used to capture the heroes.

"Did you find it?" Kid Arachnid asking Ganke.

"Yeah, we see it. Hang tight, pal, we'll get you all out very soon." Ganke tells Kid Arachnid.

Mary Jane took a peek again to see that Arcade suddenly went missing from the screens.

"Ah, where is he?" Mary Jane asking Ganke.

All of a sudden, they heard a gun cocked from behind them as they slowly got themselves up and turns around to see Arcade aiming a gun right at them, they've been spotted and are both now at his mercy, the element of surprise is gone.

"Hello there, I'm guessing that you're the same hackers who attempted to find me. I thought nobody would ever find me, I truly underestimated you. Too bad this has all been for nothing, now raise your arms up in the air slowly." Arcade aims his gun and tells them to raise his hands.

"Okay, I'm raising my hands up slowly." Mary Jane tells Arcade.

Mary Jane raise her hands up as she hopes to raise them to the right aiming position, Arcade watched them raising their hands as Mary Jane used the web shooter to fire webbing and shot the guns off Arcade's hand, she finally disarmed him as she rushed up and strike with a cross to the face, he fell down until he picked up his cane nearby, Mary Jane approaches the villain carefully as Arcade got back up and started swinging his cane, Mary Jane bend backwards and dodged the swing.

"I'll keep him busy, get our friends out of there." Mary Jane tells Ganke.

Mary Jane is busy fighting and keeping Arcade distracted as Ganke rushed towards the screens and sits down in front of the keyboard, he's attempting to figure out how to work the composer to free the heroes from Murderworld, he's having trouble figuring it out even for a computer expert.

Ganke sighed and typing. "Okay, how do I work this thing?"

(Murderworld)

Back insider Murderworld, the three spider heroes are still engaged in combat against Venom, Spider-Man found a shield on the wall as he has an idea, he lets Venom get close enough as he bang the shield with his fists as Venom is weak against loud sounds, but it didn't affect him as Venom tackled Spider-Man down hard on the ground, Spidey kicked Venom hard off him as loud sounds doesn't work against this version of Venom.

"Loud sounds doesn't work against him, Arcade must've removed that weakness." Spider-Man tells his teammates.

"Then we beat him the old fashion way." Ghost-Spider tells Spider-Man.

"We just need to hold him out long enough for Ganke and Mary Jane to free us." Kid Arachnid informs them of their friends.

"Mary Jane? She's with Ganke?" Spider-Man is confused.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, Ganke knows my secret." Kid Arachnid confessed the truth.

"Whoa, no way!" Spider-Man is surprised.

Venom then came in for a drop kick as Spider-Man backflips out of the way.

"Let's stay focused, boys!" Ghost-Spider reminded them the fight is still on.

"Right, let's take down this fake Venom." Spider-Man told his teammates.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

Ganke is still at the desk attempting to access the composer in order to free the heroes from cyberspace, meanwhile Mary Jane is still fighting off against Arcade who's using his cane block the incoming webbing, he then swings the cane hard at Mary Jane and knocked her off her feet, she fell down on her back, she tries to fire back her web shooters but Arcade step both his feet on them, making them useless, he then holds his cane down upon Mary Jane's neck attempting to choke her, she got her hands on the cane trying to hold him back, Ganke stopped typing as he sees that Mary Jane is in great danger of being choked to death. Mary Jane is hanging on to life but she's running out of air about to being blacked out.

"Time to die!" Arcade is choking Mary Jane to death.

Mary Jane is starting to black out, but all of a sudden Arcade got hit pretty hard on the back of his head as he fell down unconscious to the right side, the cane got loose from Mary Jane's neck as she's coughing and breathing again, she looked to see Ganke holding up his tablet that broke upon the impact, he just saved Mary Jane's life and Arcade is unconscious on the ground.

Mary Jane coughed. "Thanks... you saved my life. Sorry about your tablet."

"It's okay, it was worth it." Ganke tells Mary Jane.

"And our friends?" Mary Jane reminded Ganke of the others.

"Oh right, our friends!" Ganke forgot about them.

Ganke rushed back to the computers and types on the keyboard, he attempts to access the composer used to capture the heroes, now it's the key to freeing them, he tries powering up the device as it's charging up, he's figuring somethings out but he's not there yet.

(Murderworld)

Back in Murderworld, there's only 1 minute and 20 seconds left on the clock, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are desperate to finish off Venom as time is running out very soon for all of them, Venom aimed his arms and fired out black webbing at both heroes, they got webbed up as unknown to him, Kid Arachnid is cloaked and he managed to shock Venom with his venom blast as he shocking him with so much voltage, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider both used their strengths to break free from the black webbing, they fired their taser webs and backed up Kid Arachnid as they all shocking Venom together, the computer generated villain can't too much electrical abuse as he's finally deleted right before their eyes, all the heroes relaxed as they succeeded in taking down Venom together.

Spider-Man sighed all tired. "Finally, it's over."

"Yeah, for all of us, look!" Kid Arachnid points up in the air.

All the heroes looked up in the air at the clock to see that there's only 30 seconds left and they're still trapped inside the game, they're about to be deleted very soon.

"Oh boy, this is not good." Spider-Man has a bad feeling.

"Not to worry, I'm on it!" Ganke's voice talking to the heroes.

"Ganke? What happened to Arcade?" Kid Arachnid asking his friend.

"Out cold for the moment. But not to worry, I think I figured out how to work this device!" Ganke tells the heroes.

"Hurry up, cause we're about to be deleted in 20 seconds!" Spider-Man tells Ganke.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

"Hurry up, Ganke!" Mary Jane tells Ganke.

"Okay, composer is charged up, time to bring them back!" Ganke types the keyboard.

The composer is all charged up as Ganke enters the command code and targets Kid Arachnid first for the extraction process.

(Murderworld)

Back inside Murderworld, Kid Arachnid felt something strange happening to him, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are witnessing something happening to their teammate.

"Kid Arachnid, what's happening to you?" Ghost-Spider is worried.

"I don't know..." Kid Arachnid suddenly disappears right before their eyes.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

The composer fired the beam in the middle of the room as Kid Arachnid suddenly shows up in the ray and materialized back into the real world, the rays disappears and Kid Arachnid is finally back in the real world, Ganke and Mary Jane smiled as it worked, Kid Arachnid sees that he's back among friends.

"Hey, I'm back!" Kid Arachnid sound cheerful

"It worked!" Mary Jane is happy.

"One down, two more to go." Ganke types the keyboard.

Ganke powers up the composer again as they still got two more heroes to pull out of Murderworld, he targets Ghost-Spider as the next hero to extract from cyberspace.

(Murderworld)

"What happened to Kid Arachnid?" Spider-Man is worried for his friend.

"Guys, I'm alright! I'm back in the real world, hang on, we're getting you both out of there!" Kid Arachnid speaking from the other side.

"Hurry up, we got 12 seconds left!" Spider-Man reminds them they're short on time.

All of a sudden, Ghost-Spider is disappearing from the game as Spider-Man is left all alone inside Murderworld, he looks up to see that there is only 5 seconds left, he's about to be deleted along with the rest of the game. But all of a sudden, he felt something strange happening to himself as he disappears from the game, the clock has finally ran out and the automatic deletion process has began, the entire video game is going through permanent deletion as Murderworld is finally no more.

(Brighton Beach Arcade)

Ghost-Spider is already back in the real world along with Kid Arachnid as the composer fired a ray beam and Spider-Man starts to materialize back into reality, the rays finally disappeared as Spider-Man is finally back, he looks around to see Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid all back safe and sound just like him. Ganke and Mary Jane sees that all three of them are back together again in the real world.

"We're back!" Spider-Man got excited for himself and his friends.

All three heroes hugged together as they're happy they're back in the real world and safe from permanent, Spider-Man stopped hugging as he remembers what Kid Arachnid said before about hugging.

"I forgot, no hugging, sorry I got carried away." Spider-Man felt embarrassed.

"It's okay, I get it, I'm glad we're all okay." Kid Arachnid isn't embarrassed.

Kid Arachnid broke from his friends as he sees his best bud Ganke Lee who saved their lives today, he and Ganke hugged one another in excitement.

"Thanks buddy, you saved all our asses." Kid Arachnid thanked Ganke.

"What would you do without your guy in the chair?" Ganke tells Kid Arachnid.

Ghost-Spider hugs Spider-Man tightly. "I thought I'd lost you."

"Yeah, I came so close." Spider-Man hugs Ghost-Spider.

Ghost-Spider and Spider-Man stopped hugging as they gazed upon each other and got caught in their moment again, Mary Jane cough and got their attention.

"I helped, you know?" Mary Jane told her friends.

"Of course, you're amazing, MJ." Spider-Man complemented Mary Jane's efforts in saving them.

Mary Jane smiled and blushed as she walked up and hugs both her friends together. "It's great to see you both again."

"We're glad to see you too, MJ." Ghost-Spider told Mary Jane.

Spider-Man then sees Ganke Lee, the person responsible for saving all their lives from certain doom, he stopped hugging Gwen and Mary Jane, he walks over to thank the best friend of Kid Arachnid for saving them.

"Thank you, Ganke Lee, you and MJ are the real heroes today." Spider-Man thanked Ganke.

"You're welcome, Spider-Man, it feels great being the hero." Ganke accepted the complement Spider-Man gave him.

All of a sudden, Arcade is moaning in pain as Ganke and Mary Jane puts their masks back on, the heroes aren't done yet as they still some unfinished business left to take care of, Arcade is getting back up and rubbing the back of his head where it hurts the most.

"Ah, it's hurt." Arcade opens his eyes to see all three spider heroes back in the real world looking down upon him and not in a good way. "Oh, oh, this is not looking good."

Spider-Man picked up Arcade and hold his up in the air. "Guess what? It's game over for you, Gameboy."

Kid Arachnid smirked and laughed. "'It's game over for you, Gameboy.' that's a good one."

(Later)

Thirty minutes later, the NYPD are outside of Brighton Beach Pier as three spider heroes are escorting Arcade all tied up in webbing as Yuri Watanabe and a couple of officers are waiting to take custody of the hacker, Spider-Man hands Arcade over to them.

"Here you go, Captain Watanabe, one psycho gamer all wrapped for you, and please keep him away from any computers and electronics while in prison." Spider-Man told Yuri Watanabe.

"Will do, Spidey, we'll take from here." Yuri Watanabe told Spider-Man.

Yuri and the officers took Arcade into their custody as the heroes watched, the criminal got put in the back of the car and drove off awaiting prison. The heroes turn to the barrier to see Mary Jane and Ganke among the crowd as they're happy they came to their rescue in time, they're the real heroes today.

It's 5:45 PM at Stan's Diner in Queens, Peter, Gwen, Miles are celebrating to the success of Ganke Lee and Mary Jane Watson who are the real heroes as everyone is happy to be back home safe and sound, Peter, Gwen, and Miles are eating burgers and fries, and drinking milkshakes as they worked up quite an appetite after surviving the deadly video game they were in.

"You guys must've worked up an appetite playing that video game." Ganke told the heroes.

"Yeah, can't say it's my favorite game, but I'm just glad to be back in the real world." Miles told his best bud.

"Oh, by the way, your Spider-Cave's systems are all shorted out, I can help you guys fix the place, though it'll take some time to get it fully operational." Ganke offers his services.

"Sure thing, if Miles trust you, then I trust you too. Welcome aboard, Ganke Lee, this team could use someone who's an expert in computers, we be lucky to have you." Peter welcomes Ganke into this crusade.

"Thanks, if you guys need a guy in the chair, just give me a call." Ganke accepts this offer.

"Here's to Ganke and MJ, the real heroes." Peter holds up his milkshakes.

"To Ganke and MJ!" Gwen and Miles holds up their milkshakes.

Ganke and Mary Jane held up their milkshakes as they all cheered together, drinking their milkshakes and enjoying their meal. Ganke Lee got accepted into the team as their computer expert, everything is about to change from there with Ganke as part of their team.

It's now 7:15 PM at night as a car is driving through Forest Hills heading for the Parker Residence, the car finally parked in the driveway as everyone sees the light in the house are on as May is home, Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane got out of the car as they're home.

"Looks like Aunt May is home, thanks for the ride, MJ, and for saving our lives." Peter told Mary Jane.

"Anytime Tiger, I'm just glad both my friends are home." Mary Jane told her friends.

"You're my hero, Mary Jane." Gwen smiled at Mary Jane.

"Thanks Gwen, it means a lot coming from you." Mary Jane appreciates Gwen's kind words.

"Well, we should head on inside, need to rest for the day. See ya tomorrow, MJ." Peter tells Mary Jane goodbye.

"Sure thing, here you go." Mary Jane tossed Aunt May's car keys as Peter caught them in his hands. "See ya tomorrow, Tiger."

Mary Jane walks towards her home as Peter and Gwen are walking and entering their home to find May in the living room watching the TV of Arcade being taken in by police and the three heroes are saved, May turns around and sees Peter and Gwen are finally home, she turns off the TV and walks up to them all relieved.

"Peter, Gwen, I never thought I'd see you both home again." May told Peter and Gwen as she hugged them both in relief.

"We're okay, Aunt May, we're both home." Peter smiled at May.

"He's right, it's good to be home." Gwen smiled at May.

May stopped hugging them. "Sorry, got a little carried away. If you don't mind, Gwendolyne, I'd like to talk to Peter alone."

"Oh, of course, I'll be in my room freshening up, excuse me." Gwen told May before leaving.

Gwen walks away to give Peter and May some privacy to talk alone as May has something important to talk to Peter about concerning his relationships with both Gwen and Mary Jane, Gwen is already gone up the stairs and they're all alone to talk.

"Ok, Aunt May, what is it you need to talk to me about?" Peter is curious to listen.

"It's about you and your relationships with Mary Jane and Gwen." May finally told Peter.

Peter sighed. "Of course, I knew this was coming."

"I'm worried about your conflicted relationship with both girls are causing, each of them are hurting because you haven't made your choice in which one you love the most. This can't go on, Peter, none of you can keep this up." May gave Peter some words of wisdom.

Peter nodded his head. "You're right, Aunt May, I can't keep doing this to them, they're both suffering because I haven't chosen one of them. I don't want to keep doing this anymore to either of them, they deserve better."

"Peter, both of these girls are truly amazing for you, but you can only have one, you can have Gwen, or you can have Mary Jane, but you can't have both. So please choose one of them and do it soon." May tells Peter to make a choice.

"I will, I promise, Aunt May." Peter agrees with May.

(Later)

Peter is all alone laying back on his bed thinking about what May said about his lack of choice causing problems with Mary Jane and Gwen, both girls are in love with him and he loves them too, but he realized that he needs to be with only one girl in the end and spare the other a lifetime of suffering. His bedroom door knocked all of a sudden as someone is outside the door.

"Peter, it's me!" Gwen is outside the door.

"Come in!" Peter invites Gwen.

Gwen opens up the door to check up on Peter after his private conversation with May, Peter sat up on the bed as Gwen sits next to him.

"Hey Gwen, what's up?" Peter asking Gwen.

"I just wanted to check up on you, how did your conversation with your aunt went?" Gwen asking Peter.

"Oh, she's just giving me some words of advice, nothing to worry about." Peter lied to Gwen.

"I see, I should get going." Gwen gets up and is about to walk away.

"Gwen, wait!" Peter tells Gwen as she stops herself from walking away.

"What is it, Pete?" Gwen is curious.

"Stay please, we really need to talk." Peter tells Gwen.

Gwen sits back down. "Is this about you and Mary Jane?"

"And you." Peter told Gwen.

"Peter... do you love Mary Jane?" Gwen wants to hear it.

"Well, I..." Peter is nervous to confess.

"Peter, please just give me an honest answer, do you love her?" Gwen asking Peter again to be honest.

Peter sighed and nodded his head. "Yes."

"And what about me? Do you still love me?" Gwen asking Peter his feelings for her.

"I've never stopped loving you, Gwen Stacy, I still love you and I will alway love you." Peter confessed his feelings for Gwen.

Gwen remained quiet until she speaks up. "Kiss me."

"What?" Peter is shocked to hear it.

Gwen placed her hand on Peter's right cheek and whisper. "Just kiss me."

Peter place his hand on Gwen right cheek as they both lean their faces closer and kissed each other for the first time after being apart for so long, Peter felt the taste of Gwen's lips on him, they tasted like peaches and strawberries, Peter and Gwen have their eyes closed as they kept on kissing each other as neither of them are stopping. Meanwhile in the house across, Mary Jane is in her bedroom with her pet dog Ms. Lion looking at the picture of herself and Peter on stage yesterday, she smiled as it was the best feeling she ever felt, she get up and looks at the window across her house towards Peter's bedroom window as she spotted Peter and Gwen kissing each other, they've reignited their romantic relationship.

Mary Jane teared up and smiled. "Way to go, Tiger, you finally hit the jackpot."

Ms. Lion came up to Mary Jane as she's tearing up, she accepted that Peter has chosen to be with Gwen in the end, she was always been the one for him. Ms. Lion barked at Mary Jane as she sat back down and hugged her pet dog, she teared as she has lost Peter to Gwen. Back inside Peter's bedroom, Peter and Gwen are still kissing each other until they've stopped and looked at each other.

"Wow, it felt so good." Gwen felt happy for that kiss.

"I missed this." Peter smiled at Gwen.

"I love you, Peter." Gwen smiled with happiness in her eyes.

"I love you too, Gwen" Peter smiled back at Gwen.

Peter and Gwen resumed kissing each other as they've resume their romantic relationship as a couple like before, Peter has made his choice, he chose to be with his first true love Gwen Stacy.
