This is the life story of Peter Parker as the legendary hero Spider-Man. This will explore his destiny as a hero as he goes on the most difficult journey, he'll faces off against all sorts of danger and saving lives, he'll meet and team up with other heroes like himself in his long quest to becoming the greatest hero of all time.

71. III: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver

Volume III: Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver

This will be the twenty-first chapter of Volume III, this will introduce two enhanced teenage twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff as they've crossed paths with Spider-Man for the first time. John Jameson and his crew have been abducted and captured in space by a mad scientist called the High Evolutionary who serves as the main villain of this chapter along with his team of New Men called the Knights of Wundagore, including Hippo. Wanda and Pietro has a history with the High Evolutionary along with a mystical entity called Chthon who is connected to Wanda and her powers. Nick Fury will recruit Spider-Man for this mission and the hero reluctantly accepts it to save John and his crew. The High Evolutionary plans to change all of humanity by evolving certain people with dormant Inhuman genes through the Terrigen mist made from Terrigen crystals and unleashed Terrigenesis on the whole worried. Spider-Man must team up with them in order to save John and his crew from being experimented on by the mad scientist, but Spidey will soon succumb to the experiment himself as High Evolutionary has great plans for him. Wanda and Pietro must work together to save Spidey from himself as they learn to use their gifts for good like he did, their lives are about to change very soon.

It's April 2nd high above in Earth's orbit, a space shuttle is hovering close to one of the space telescopes orbiting the planet as Colonel John Jameson along with fellow astronaut Ben Grimm are working together to do maintenance work on the satellite repairing the circuitry, John has been up in space for more than a month, he still tinkers trying to fix the satellite as he stopped for a moment and looks down to get a perfect view of Earth and how the lights on the surface are shining like fireflies.

"Hey Johnny, it's a beautiful view and all, but can we stayed focused and get this done?" Ben Grimm said.

John Jameson snapped back to reality and smiled. "Oh, sorry I got carried away, Ben, and it's just John by the way."

"Sorry John, old habits, Reed's girlfriend Sue has a little brother who like to call himself Johnny, that kid is quite a troublemaker." Ben Grimm said.

John then put in the finishing touches on the circuit. "There, that should do it. How's the view, Houston?"

"Perfect, the telescope is back online, great job John, over!"

"Roger that, Houston, over." John Jameson puts away his tools and turns to Ben Grimm. "Okay, let's head on back to the station, Ben."

Ben Grimm flies on back to the shuttle. "Sure thing, thanks for letting me tag along, John, I just got up here days ago and I was starting to feel a little bored being coped up in that station doing nothing exciting."

"Hey, it's only a few days in space, it'll be great, what's the worst that could happen?" John Jameson flies back to the shuttle.

"That's not what I heard about your last experience." Ben Grimm said.

"Yeah... that was unexpected." John Jameson is reminded of his last mission into space. "There's danger all around, even up here in space."

John and Ben enters through the shuttle's top hatch as it closes upon them, inside the shuttle John and Ben enters through the airlock where more fellow astronauts greeted them for their work and helps them out of their space suits. Sometime later, John and Ben made their way towards the cockpit where John Jameson takes the pilot seat with Ben Grimm being the copilot.

"Mission Control, this is Col. Jameson, our mission is complete, heading back to the station." John Jameson said.

The whole crew is about to head on back to the International Space Space until the shuttle's scanners are beeping and getting everyone's attention.

"Hold on, John, we got something on the scanner, something big." Ben Grimm said.

"How big?" John Jameson said.

All of a sudden a shining bluish green light shines from the cockpit window as the whole shuttle is caught in the beam and being pulls away from the satellite, the whole crew started to panic as John fires the shuttle's thrusters attempting to flee from whatever is coming towards them, but despite the full power of the thrusters the shuttle is still being pulled in by a strong force.

"Mission Control! We're under attack in space, an unidentified object is pulling us in, we can't escape! Do you read me?!" John Jameson radios back to Earth.

John and the crew looks out the window to see something very big, a ship of alien design is above their heads and pulling the shuttle in as it docks below it's belly, the clamps has locked the shuttle into place, John and his crew have been captured, the ship extends its airlock tube onto the shuttle itself. Meanwhile inside the ship itself a number of unusual bestial beings dressed in armor armed with weapons are making their way to the airlock. John activates this shuttle's emergency beacon for NASA to track, but John and his crew heard something coming from the airlock itself as they made their way towards it. The shuttle crew heard something outside the airlock as it opens up as a group of four animal men came into the shuttle, one is a tiger with a sword, the other a ram with a hammer, a bear with an axe, and a hippo with a mace.

"What do we have here?" Sir Ram said.

"Welcome humans, I am Lord Tyger, we are the Knights of Wundagore and you are all belong to the High Evolutionary now." Lord Tyger said.

"Like hell I am!" Ben Grimm moves forward to confront them.

Hippo then swings his back fist and hits Ben Grimm hard as he bang his right arm and shoulder against the shuttle's wall, breaking his bones and causing him pain, John and his crew came to Ben's side to see that he's seriously hurt.

"Ben! Are you alright?!" John Jameson is concerned.

Ben Grimm checking his right arm as he's in pain. "Ah, I think my arm is broken."

"Anyone else care to do something stupid?" Lady Ursula said.

John and his crew are at the mercy of the Knights of Wundagore as they're now their prisoners. Meanwhile up in the bridge of the ship where many automatons are piloting the craft, a strange powerful being in a maroon exo skeleton suit is sitting comfortably gazing upon Earth, all of a sudden Lord Tyger came up to the bridge and kneels before his lord and master, this powerful being is called the High Evolutionary.

"My lord, we have captured the crew and locked them up in the brig, one of them is all restrained in the lab." Lord Tyger said.

"Perfect, more test subjects for my experiments, and the Terrigen crystals?" High Evolutionary said.

"All secured, my lord." Lord Tyger said.

"Excellent, time to head back to Wundagore Mountain, soon all of humanity will witness a dawn in human evolution." High Evolutionary said.

High Evolutionary stands up from his chair and walks down the hallway past his many automatons all on guard duty, he looks at the many Terrigen crystals he's brought with him as he has big plans to use them for the next stage in human evolution, he eventually made it to the lab where Col. John Jameson is all strapped down to the table unable to escape, he spotted a maroon armored being here before his eyes, the High Evolutionary looks upon the first test subject for his experiments.

"Hello, you shall have the great honor of being my experiment." High Evolutionary said.

John is scared by what High Evolutionary has in store for him and his crew, but it can't be good.

(Earth)

Down below in Earth's atmosphere in the country of Transia, High Evolutionary's ship finally enters into Earth's atmosphere and heading towards Wundagore Mountain, the ship cloaks itself from naked eyes as to not attract any unwanted attention, two 17 year old teen nomads of Romani descent ventured into the region as the young female in red sensed something familiar heading towards Wundagore Mountain, her brother a silver haired male of same age is worried for his sister as this place, that mountain brings back haunting memories for her as well as for him. This girl in red is Wanda Maximoff, a teenage girl with auburn hair and green eyes, she's wearing a red hoodie over a black corset top and skirt with black boots, the boy with her is her twin brother Pietro, a silvered haired male wearing a blue hoodie over a gray shirt and blue pants.

"Wanda? Wanda?!" Pietro trying to get his sister's attention.

Wanda snaps out of her mind. "Huh? I'm sorry, Pietro. I thought I'd sensed something, something... familiar."

"I can't believe we're back here after two years. This place..." Pietro said.

"I know, it's still gives me nightmares." Wanda felt uneasy.

"There's a village up ahead, let's rest there for the night." Pietro said.

Wanda and Pietro heads towards the village up ahead near Wundagore Mountain, the Maximoff twins has a haunted history with that place as it's where everything changed for them, but for Wanda there's something that lurks deep below the mountain itself that she fears more, something that wants her for a destiny she is to fulfill, a destiny she fears and she wants no part of, what she has inside of her is dangerous to both herself and to everyone around her, she sees it as a curse rather than a gift.

Meanwhile it's nighttime in Forest Hills, Queens, at the Thompson Residence where Flash Thompson is the host to the party happening here in his home, his parents and sister are out of town for the week, in the backyard Kong is at the barbecue pit cooking up meat such as hamburger patties and hot dog wieners as Randy is at the DJ table playing music and causing a lot of noise as a majority of Midtown Seniors are enjoying their spring break for the week as it could be their last party to have fun before their year at Midtown High ends for good. Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane came to the party to see Harry, Liz, Betty, Glory, almost all of Midtown seniors here are taking in all the fun they'll get to spend together before the year is up, the host Flash Thompson came by to greet his guests.

"Parker, Stacy, Watson, glad you three could make it." Flash said.

"You'd think that I'd miss out my last spring break before graduation?' Peter said.

"Well, you're always too busy with work, so yeah, the thought had crossed my mind." Flash said.

"Are your parents okay with you throwing a party here?" Gwen said.

"Let's just say that they don't exactly know." Flash said.

"Wow, very gusty Flash." Mary Jane said.

"Whatever, enjoy the party and help yourself to some food and drinks." Flash said.

"Thanks." Peter said.

Flash walks away to tend to other guests here as the music all around here is causing quite a disturbance to the neighborhood as some of the neighbors are about to call the cops to file a noise complaint they're causing here. Harry went up to the table and grabbed some cups as he's about to pour down some punch for his friends, Peter and Gwen are cheering and having fun with the music all around, Mary Jane watches as those two are having some real fun here as they needed it from all the crime fighting they do as Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider. Harry came back to his friends carrying four cups of fruit punch, he hands each of them their cups and holds his own.

"A toast to our last spring break we'll ever have as high school seniors!" Harry holds up his cup.

"Cheers!" Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane said in unison holding up their cups.

All four drank up their cup of punch, after they're done drinking up all to the last drop, they've discovered something unusual in their drinks that doesn't exactly taste like regular punch, Harry and Mary Jane both are having a strange feeling inside their brains while Peter and Gwen are still unaffected for some reason.

"What kind of punch is this?" Gwen checking out her empty cup.

"I know, the taste is off." Harry said.

Peter holds up his cup to his nose and smelled it. "Oh no!"

"Oh no? What's oh no?" Mary Jane said.

"I think the punch we've drank was spiked." Peter looked shocked.

"Spiked? Are you saying that..." Mary Jane said.

"I think we've unknowingly ingested alcohol." Peter said.

"Oh shit." Harry looks troubled.

All four looked stunned to find out that their drinks have been spiked by some kind of alcohol beverage, meanwhile the party continued on as Randy is at the DJ playing music, all of sudden a couple of police officers came by through the backyard as gave the sign to Randy to cut the music, Randy had no choice but to comply and killed the music as everyone stopped celebrating only to see the cops are here, Flash became froze upon seeing them.

"Oh, I'm in deep trouble." Flash is starting to panic.

"Alright kids, the party is over! Go back to your homes now!"

Everyone started to leave the backyard as Flash has no choice but to stay here and explain everything, but he's more worried about his parents finding out about this party he's hosting at their house without permission, he knows he's in deep now. Peter and Gwen came out to the street with Mary Jane and Harry still feeling the effects of the alcohol in their heads, Harry is heading towards his green convertible.

"So much for our last spring break, I should head on back home." Harry searching his pockets for his car keys.

"Ah Harry, I think that you should take a cab home this time, the last thing you want is to be pulled over for DWI." Peter suggested Harry doesn't drive home.

"You got a good point... fine, here." Harry hands Peter his car keys. "Please bring my ride home tomorrow at my house when you get the chance, Pete."

"Sure thing, take care of yourself." Peter takes Harry's car keys.

Harry left his keys in the hands of his best friend while he make a call for a cab as he himself is not in good condition to drive home. Mary Jane is still feeling the alcohol in her head as Peter and Gwen walks her back to her house around the corner as she could barely keep herself together unlike her friends who seemed unaffected by the alcohol for some reason.

"Easy MJ, we got you." Peter helping Mary Jane.

Mary Jane leans her against Peter acting silly. "Mmm... Thanks Tiger. You're very lucky to have a boyfriend like Pete, Gwen. Isn't he very cute?"

Peter felt somewhat embarrassed in front of Gwen looking at him. "This is a little awkward."

All three walked around the corner of the street and eventually made it back to their homes as Peter and Gwen dropped off Mary Jane.

"Here we are, MJ, home sweet home." Peter said.

"Okay, I think I'm conscious enough to go on home by myself." Mary Jane said.

"You sure?" Gwen said.

"I'm sure, thanks for helping me out. Can't believe we've unknowingly drank punch spiked with alcohol." Mary Jane said.

"I know, this took us by surprise too." Peter said.

"Speaking of, how come you two aren't feeling it? You both drank the whole punch like me and you're still not feeling it." Mary Jane said.

Gwen is stunned by this revelation. "Now that you mentioned it, we don't feel the alcohol... at all."

Peter and Gwen noticed it as neither of them are feeling the effects of the alcohol in their system.

"Okay, I should hit the bed and sleep it off, by tomorrow morning I'll be perfect." Mary Jane said.

"Okay, take care MJ." Peter said.

"Good night, Tiger, you too, Gwen." Mary Jane heads on inside her house.

In another timezone it's morning time back in Transia at a village nearby Wundagore Mountain, at a inn the Maximoff twins are staying in, Wanda is still in bed twisting and turning as she's having nightmares about a demon who is calling out to her in her dreams, this powerful demonic being wants her to fulfill a prophecy that she wants no part of, she's hearing his voice in her sleep.

"Wanda... come home... it's time to fulfill your destiny... come to me...!" Chthon's voice.

All of a sudden, Wanda wakes up from her nightmares to see her brother Pietro here carrying two cups of coffee, he got very worried by the sudden reaction Wanda is having just now.

"Hey sis, I got you coffee, don't worry, it's black with no cream, lactose intolerant and all." Pietro hands Wanda a cup.

"Thanks." Wanda takes the cup and took a sip.

"It's the nightmare again, isn't it?" Pietro is worried.

Wanda nodded her head. "Always with the same voice, it's like something deep within the mountain is calling out to me."

"All this started happening ever since..." Pietro said.

"Since he took us and changed us, our lives were never the same after that." Wanda said.

"You mean since we got our gifts." Pietro shows off his super speed as he zips across the room in the blink of an eye.

Wanda is unfazed. "You call your powers a gift, mines is a curse, a curse I wish I could get rid off."

"Wanda, none of us asked for them, that bastard the High Evolutionary took us and used us as guinea pigs of his twisted experiments, but there's nothing we can do to change what has been done to us, all we can do is accept and own up to who we are now." Pietro said.

"A couple of freaks who got robbed of a normal life, that's who we are now, if people find out who we really are and what we can do..." Wanda said.

Pietro sat down on the bed next to Wanda. "I know... but at least we have each other, our parents are gone and you're all I have left in this world."

Wanda smiled at her brother. "And you're all I got left, Pietro."

Wanda hugs her brother Pietro as his words helped her through with her fears, but she's still afraid of herself and what she's capable of, this entity wants her to be a vessel, the Harbinger of Chaos, something she never wants and this power she has inside of herself is directly connected to this demon entity, Wanda holds out one of her hands to display a small portion of her powers which is mystical in red aura, she sees this power as a curse and does her best to suppress it, but as she ages it only grows stronger, she fears this future this entity has for her, she wants no part in it, but will she have a choice in that matter, only time will tell.

Later back in the New York's timezone it's also morning time almost to noon, Peter and Gwen are still processing what happened back at the party last night where he and their friends accidentally drank punch spiked with alcohol without their knowledge, things here seemed cool until May Parker came by to have a serious talk about what she heard happened last night at Flash's house.

"Morning Aunt May." Peter greeted his aunt.

"I got a call from Anna Watson last night, she told me that she ran into Mary Jane looking all dizzy in the head and what appears to be alcohol reeking from her breath, could any of you care to explain to me what exactly happened at the party? The truth, please." May said.

Peter sighed about to confess. "Alright, Me, Gwen, and MJ had some fruit punch last night at Flash's party and it was spiked with alcohol, we all drank it by accident and it was only after we found out it was spiked."

"My goodness, how did this happened?" May said.

"We called Flash last night and he told us that one of the senior jocks poured in some vodka into the punch bowl without his permission or knowledge." Peter explained.

"So Flash had nothing to do with it?" May said.

"No, but right now he's got bigger worries to deal with, his parents are heading back home from their vacation and clearly not too happy with their son using their house to host a party without their permission." Peter said.

"Okay, I get that this whole thing was an accident and you never meant for this to happen, but seriously, please be careful what you drink, you never know what's inside it. And also don't be drinking alcohol at your age, it's not good for your body and brain." May gave them some wise words of advice.

"Sure thing, thanks for your words of wisdom, we'll definitely keep that in mind, Mrs. Parker." Gwen said.

"I promise, luckily me and Gwen weren't very affected by the alcohol like MJ and Harry were." Peter said.

"Really? How?" May is confused.

"We theorized that the spider bites that gave us our powers didn't just affect our muscle, it would affect our cells, create a protective system of regeneration and healing. Which means we can't get drunk." Peter told a theory.

"Our metabolism burns four times faster than the average person. This could be one of the side effects." Gwen shares her theory.

"You're both full of surprises." May said.

"Okay, time for me to go, I gotta go and pick up Harry's convertible he left behind. After I'm done dropping it off at his place, I'll head for the Daily Bugle to see if there's any photography work needed. See you both later." Peter gets up and walks away.

Peter walks out of the house and made his way towards Flash's house just around the corner, he eventually made it to Harry's green convertible that has been here since last night, he found a parking ticket on the windshield.

Peter sighed. "I hope Harry can pay for this."

Peter hoped into the convertible and turns on the engine, he drives it away from Flash's house and heads towards the city to deliver it back to his best friend Harry, afterwards he'll head for the Daily Bugle to see if there's any need for a photographer.

At the same time beneath Wundagore Mountain, there's ancient ruins dedicated to the demonic being Chthon, the God of Chaos and of the Darkhold, the High Evolutionary turned this place into his hidden laboratory to conduct his experiments in peace for years, he just returned back recently after being away for so long, his automatons are unloading the Terrigen crystal from the ship and taking them down to his lab, some are already catalyzing the crystals and breaking it down from it's current form to turn it into mist, afterward they're being loaded up into what appears to be bombs with Sir Hippo and Lady Ursula overlooks the operation. Meanwhile High Evolutionary stands at the edge of the cliff looking out at all of Transia, it's been so long since the last time he was here on Earth after he departed ways to a world of his own creation, meanwhile Lord Tyger and Sir Ram came by and bows before him.

"Sir Ram, what's the status of the Terrigen crystals?" High Evolutionary said.

"They're being broken down and turned into a gas as we speak, my lord. Within 10 hours, the Terrigen bombs will be ready and loaded onto the ship for Terrigenesis." Sir Ram said.

"Excellent, in the meantime I need more test subjects for my experiments. Send a force to the village to fetch me any live humans to be experimented on." High Evolutionary said.

"Of course, but it'll take hours to mobilize our troops for this mission." Lord Tyger said.

"Good, get started." High Evolutionary said.

Lord Tyger and Sir Ram all bow and complied with High Evolutionary's wishes and stand to walk away, High Evolutionary has no regards to the cost of human lives as he justifies that everything he does is all in the name of evolution and that sacrifice is necessary to make it happen no matter the cost. His experiments already lead to the creation of two enhanced individuals that managed to survive his experiments with powers beyond imagining.

Back at New York at the Daily Bugle building, J Jonah Jameson is in his office with his right hand man Robbie Robertson, these days the whole floor doubles as his campaign headquarters for his mayoral election since he ran for Mayor, some employees are working their regular newspaper jobs while other focuses on Jameson's campaign, Betty is coming into the office delivering a cup of coffee for her boss who is still looking over the approval rating on the tablet Robbie is showing him.

Betty sets the mug on the desk. "Here you go, one hot coffee, all black, with sugar cubes.

"Okay, give it to me straight, Robbie, how are things going?" Jameson said.

"Your approval rating is higher than ever before, looks like things are tilling to your favorite." Robbie said.

Betty left the office after delivering the coffee to Jameson, coming out of the elevator Peter Parker sees this place is very busier than usual ever since Jameson has entered the world of politics, he spotted his friend Betty Brant coming towards him.

"Hey Pete, how are you feeling?" Betty said.

"Let me guess, you drank some punch and you felt a bit dizzy?" Peter said.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Betty said.

"Same thing happened to MJ and Harry, how are you?" Peter said.

"Oh, I'm fine, the coffee helped me very much. And you?" Betty said.

"I'm great, I just dropped off Harry's convertible at his place, just thought I'd swing by to see if there's any photography work for me." Peter said.

"Sadly no, Pete, these days this is more like a campaign office than a newspaper tabloid." Betty said.

All of a sudden, the elevator opens up as two men dressed in Air Force uniform came onto the floor and got everyone's attention including Peter and Betty as their conversation got cut short, Jameson and Robbie noticed men in uniform coming towards them, he knew they're from NASA, he stopped focusing on his campaign and got up to meet with them to wonder what they want, he figures that this has to do with his son John.

"John Jonah Jameson, we need to talk to you in private, it's about your son."

Jameson was right as he had a feeling this is about his son John, the men from NASA came into the office to talk with Jameson about the situation that has happened recently up in space in where his son is involved, Peter, Betty, along with most of the Bugle are looking towards the office where Jameson is speaking with the representatives of NASA about John's fate, Peter can't help but feel that something terrible has happened with John up in space, Jameson is looking troubled by the news they're sharing and is very worried for John as Robbie is comforting him.

Sometime later outside of the Bugle building, Spider-Man is sitting on the rooftop thinking about what could've happened to John up in space, more than a year ago John was attacked by the symbiote John brought back from the comet, he lost control of the shuttle and almost got killed in a crash, but he was lucky to survive, that day was a dark moment in John's life as wells as for Spider-Man, but he wonders what threat in space John found himself in.

Spider-Man sighed. "I wonder what kind of trouble John is in, last time it was the Symbiote and the shuttle crash. I hope terrible has happened to him, I wish I could do something to help him, but he's way out of my jurisdiction, if he's even in our solar system."

Spider-Man jumps off the rooftop and swings through the city to clear his head, unknown to him a couple of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents riding on sky-cycle are following Spidey and his him in their sights.

"TARGET ACQUIRED, SPIDER-MAN."

"Follow him, but do not engage!" Nick Fury over the comms.

Spider-Man is still swinging through the city until his spider sense tingles, he turns his head and noticed men on hoverbikes are following him, he then attempts to swing on faster trying to lose them.

"TARGET SPOTTED US! HE'S GETTING AWAY!"

"Chase after him and box him in, I'm on my way!" Nick Fury gave the order.

"COPY!"

The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are chasing after Spider-Man who is attempting to lose his pursuers by evading them, swinging on faster and slipping in between skyscrapers, he eventually made it to a rooftop where several quinjets are above all have him boxed in, Spidey recognized the symbol on them as S.H.I.E.L.D, he's got one guess as who sent them, the hoverbikes made it and did their part to keep Spider-Man from escaping, one of the quinjet came in and landed, the ramp opens as Spidey see Director Nick Fury walking onto the rooftop, Spider-Man still isn't too happy to see Fury again.

"Fury." Spider-Man isn't too happy.

"It's been a while, Spider-Man." Nick Fury said.

"Was I not clear the last time we've spoke? I don't work for S.H.I.E.L.D. anymore." Spider-Man said.

"Yeah, you were very clear, Parker, but this is a special case, we need your help." Nick Fury said.

"Not interested, goodbye." Spider-Man walks away in the other direction.

"It's about Col. John Jameson." Nick Fury confessed the reason.

Spider-Man stopped himself as soon as he heard John's name, he turns back to Nick Fury.

"Still want to walk away from this?" Nick Fury said.

Spider-Man still doesn't trust Nick Fury ever since he keep the truth about his parents and their deaths from him, but this is John Jameson we're talking about, the son of his boss Jameson, John is a good man who even sees Spider-Man as a hero despite what his father said, Spider-Man wants to help John even if that means working with Nick Fury on this.

Later way above New York City is the Helicarrier, the mobile headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D. still cloaked from naked eyes, Spider-Man is in the debriefing room with Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Phil Coulson as they're playing a recording of a radio transmission from the shuttle to NASA of the danger John and his crew were in, Spider-Man is listening to the recording of John in serious danger along with the crew.

"Mission Control! We're under attack in space, an unidentified object is pulling us in, we can't escape! Do you read?!" John Jameson's voice on the recording before the static kicks in and the transmission ended.

"When was this taken?" Spider-Man said.

"Yesterday, NASA attempted to communicate back to the shuttle, but no one replied, they feared the worst. Officially, NASA is taking jurisdiction over this matter, but unofficially S.H.I.E.L.D. will be taking over the rescue mission for John and his crew." Nick Fury explained.

"Are you thinking of taking a rescue mission out there in space?" Spider-Man said.

"That's the thing, they're not in space, they're actually here, on Earth, the shuttle's emergency beacon is still active." Phil Coulson said.

"Where?" Spider-Man said.

"We've tracked it to Eastern Europe, to the country Transia in the region of Wundagore Mountain. Our satellites in orbit got a glimpse of the source of the beacon, but so far we found nothing, so that leads us to believe that whatever took the shuttle and her crew are cloaked." Maria Hill explained.

"Normally I'd send Rogers, Danvers, or Stark to investigate, but they're out on missions of their own, so like or not, you're the only one we can turn to." Nick Fury said.

"Let's just be clear about this, I'm doing this for John, not for you." Spider-Man said.

"Fair enough, the quinjet is all fueled up and ready for departure." Nick Fury said.

Spider-Man said nothing more as he walks out of the room, he still carries a huge distrust for Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D. due to their roles in hiding the truth about his parent's role as agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and their deaths at the hands of the Winter Soldier, but for now he's putting it aside and agreed to do this rescue mission for John Jameson. Phil Coulson looks at Spider-Man walking away as he didn't get the chance to inform him about things that happened he's completely unaware of, but that'll have to wait after the mission. Spider-Man made out to the runway where a S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet is all ready for him, Spidey takes the cockpit control and pilots the craft as now he has flight training in piloting aircrafts, the quinjet takes off from the runway and heads towards Transia to save John and his crew and bringing them home.

Later on another timezone back at Wundagore Mountain, Lord Tyger and his fellow knights all came together standing before a statue of the Chaos God Chthon with an battalion of High Evolutionary's automatons awaiting new orders while the others are loading a batch of Terrigen mist into the bombs to be disturbed throughout the whole world for Terrigenesis, but the Knights along with the battalion has a different mission for High Evolutionary, invade a small town nearby and capture test subjects for the High Evolutionary to conduct his research, Lord Tyger steps up and turns back facing his fellow knights and drones.

"This is the will of High Evolutionary, we are to head to the village and capture any humans on sight, remember we need them alive for our master's research, understood?" Lord Tyger said.

"YES LORD TYGER!" Sir Ram, Lady Ursula, and Sir Hippo all salute together before Lord Tyger.

"Let's head out!' Lord Tyger said.

The four knights all hopped onto their atomic steed for them to ride on as they hover away from Wundagore Mountain along with the automatons all capable of using their jet thruster for flight, they're heading towards the nearby village to capture some test subjects for their master High Evolutionary to conduct his research.

Meanwhile somewhere above in the air, the quinjet has entered through Transian airspace undetected with Spider-Man inside still piloting the craft without difficulty as it's his first time to fly without any instructor guiding him. Spider-Man sees the village up ahead through the cockpit window, he decided to not attract any unwanted attention, so he decided to find a landing spot to hide the quinjet, he looks around the forest until he sees one with enough space for it to land, he decided to land the craft steadily as it finally touched down and became hidden among trees, the boarding ramp lowers itself down as Spider-Man finally stepped onto Transian ground.

"Looks like those two weeks of flight training under Carol finally paid off, I made it and landed without difficulty." Spider-Man talking to himself.

Spider-Man ventured through the forest alone and made his way on foot walking in the direction where he saw that small village before landing, he continues through the forest until he made it out and gazed up Wundagore Mountain, the last place the shuttle's emergency beacon was traced to, he found the village down below the moutain up ahead , he's hoping to talk to the locals about the mountain nearby and know what he's going up against.

"There's the village, I hope the locals who live there can give me some insight about Wundagore and how to get there." Spider-Man said.

All of a sudden, he spotted something unusual coming down from Wundagore Mountain heading towards the village, looks like he's on the right track but the village itself might be in some serious danger, he rushes ahead hoping to make it to the village in time to save the locals from the threat. Back at the village itself, the locals all looked to see strange beasts riding on some kind of flying steeds accompanied by robots as they've finally touched down on the ground. From the hotel where the twins are staying, Pietro and Wanda looked out through the window to see what the commotion is about, they've spotted what they've never expected to see again, bestial beings along with purple robots, they knew that they've been sent by the High Evolutionary. Lord Tyger disembark from his steed along with the other knights to greet the people.

"Greetings, I am Lord Tyger, we are the Knights of Wundagore, we've come to take you to our mountain on behalf of our master, so please comply with our demands and none of you shall be harmed." Lord Tyger said.

"Take them!" Sir Ram gave out the order.

The robots moves in to capture some villagers to bring to the High Evolutionary as everyone is scared for their lives, one of the robots came up to a family with a small boy hiding behind his parents, he's very frightened, Pietro looks to see that boy is in serious danger, the father swings his rack onto this robot as it got hit and the robot saw them as hostile, things are looking to get wore for the people, Pietro wants to help that boy and the villagers, but his sister could tell that he's about to do something very stupid that will attract the attention of the High Evolutionary, she grabbed his wrist to keep him from running towards danger.

"Pietro, no! If you go out there, he'll find us!" Wanda protested.

"I can't stand by and do nothing, Wanda, you know what he took from us and put us through, I won't stand by and let this happen again, so let go of me!" Pietro made up his mind.

Pietro shakes off Wanda's hand and speeds off, Wanda wants to help her brother but she's hesitant as to not attract High Evolutionary's attention and because she doesn't want to use her powers. Back outside, one of the robots took the boy while the other are bringing in the father who resisted them before the knights.

"Brave, but foolish, kill him." Lord Tyger said.

Lady Ursula steps up wielding her axe and stands before the father as the boy is being taken away to see the bear creature is raising the axe about to perform an execution on the man, the boy screams in fear for his father as Lady Ursula is about to swing the axe down and kill the man, but all of a sudden coming their way is a silver streak moving too fast and took the father away in time as Lady Ursula swings the axe down but missed her target, the streak move the man to his wife and went back to take the boy away from the robot, the knights are confused as to what just happened, Pietro stops and stands before the parents with the boy in his arms, he hands the boy back to his father, the boy hugs his father tightly in relief they've been saved, Pietro smiled as he just save a family. The knights got to see who's responsible for thwarting their mission, a silver haired boy has the power to move extremely fast than the eye could see.

"Who are you?!" Lord Tyger demanded.

"Doesn't matter, these people are under my protection, tell your master High Evolutionary that he won't take anymore lives." Pietro said.

"How do you know about High Evolutionary? I'll ask again, who are you?" Lord Tyger said.

"Someone who's willing to risk his life to make sure these people never go through what that bastard put me through!" Pietro standing up to them.

"You dare speak ill of our lord! You must die!" Sir Ram said.

"Get them!" Hippo said.

All the robots around aimed their weapons at Pietro and started firing plasma bolts upon him, but Pietro ran away too fast and started to attack any robot around the village, the knights are having trouble keeping up with someone who can move faster than a speeding bullet, Pietro dismantled any robot he came across into pieces, all the robots are taken apart as the knights lost their battalion, but Sir Ram takes matter into his own hands as he tossed in a pulse grenade at the direction of that silver streak, it exploded and the powerful shockwave knocked Pietro off balance as he came crashing upon a store and breaking the window. Wanda is still in hiding to see her brother is down, he's conflicted in whether to use her powers or not. Pietro got himself seriouslyhurt as he got a glass shard in his leg, he's too injured to move fast as Sir Hippo came upon the injured speedster with his mace.

Hippo chuckles. "Not too quick now, are you?"

Hippo raised his mace about to kill Pietro until a webbing latched itself onto the mace and got pulled from Hippo's hands, he turns around to see Spider-Man catching the mace in his hand, he just saved Pietro from death, the speedster is surprised to see an Avenger here but he's happy that he came in time, otherwise he'd be a goner, the knights spotted another enhanced individual dressed in red and blue.

"You shouldn't be playing with this, this is very dangerous you know!" Spider-Man holding the mace.

"Who the devil are you?" Hippo said.

"Seriously, you've never heard of me, I feel insulted." Spider-Man being humorous.

"Should we?" Lord Tyger steps forward.

"Who are you all?" Spider-Man is confused.

"We are the Knights of Wundagore and you're interfering in our mission, leave now or die!" Lord Tyger threatens Spider-Man.

"I can't let you harm these innocent people." Spider-Man said.

"Very well, you shall die!" Lord Tyger said.

Lady Ursula makes her first move as she came in with her axe, Spider-Man tossed the mace hard and knocked the bear woman down, Hippo came charging in for a tackle but Spidey jumped backwards and does the drop kick on Hippo's head, then Sir Ram came in closer swinging his hammer, Spidey jumps up above dodging the swing, he fired a web upon the Ram man's face and blinded him, he landed behind Sir Ram and does the sweep kick, knocking him off his feet and falls down, Lord Tyger is impressed that someone is able to best three knights simultaneously, he draws out his sword as Lord Tyger isn't like the other knights, he's the strongest of them all both in strength and in combat.

"Impressive, no one is able to best the Knights of Wundagore so easily, let's set how you do against the leader." Lord Tyger wielding his sword.

Spider-Man fired off a couple of webbing as Lord Tyger uses his sword to slice them before they could ever touch him, he then jumps in and swings his sword as Spidey rolls over to dodge his sword attack, only to be surprised by a back kick and managed to strike Spider-Man, the hero fell down to see he underestimated him, he's not like the other three, Spider-Man flips back on his feet and summoned his web shield from his left web shooter.

"Not bad, Tigger, you just got lucky." Spider-Man said.

"You jest even in combat, you're quite an unusual warrior." Lord Tyger said.

"Have you ever though about advertising for a cereal commercial like Tony the Tiger? You'll probably nail it good." Spider-Man being amusing.

"Enough talk, let's finish this." Lord Tyger felt annoyed.

Lord Tyger moves in faster and got close enough to strike back with his sword as Spider-Man uses the web shield to protect himself, both warriors are locked in place using their strengths to against one another, Lord Tyger could see this spider guy is as strong as he is, if not stronger. Spider-Man uses his own strength to push back against Lord Tyger, the bestial saw an opening around Spider-Man's shield, he lets one of his hands loose and draw out his claws from his fingers, he strikes at Spidey's leg and injuring the hero, Spider-Man flinched in pain and lost his focus, Lord Tyger executes a strong push kick and knocked Spider-Man off his feet, Pietro looks out to see the hero is in serious danger.

"SPIDER-MAN!" Pietro yells out.

Pietro still has a shard in his leg attempts to stand back up to help Spider-Man as Lord Tyger is getting closer to the hero, but he's got problems of his own as Sir Ram punched the speedster down to the ground and steps on his injured leg, causing him more pain as he screams. Lord Tyger steps on Spider-Man's left wrist to keep him from making anymore moves and points his sword down at the hero.

"You're fought valiantly, I want you know that this was an honorable fight." Lord Tyger said.

Lord Tyger is about to thrust his sword towards Spider-Man's chest and giving him an honorable death, but his sword spotted at the last second as it's glowing red in some kind of aura, Sir Ram is also engulfed in that same red aura and got pushed off Pietro and out of the store, Lord Tyger's sword got forced off his hand and sent flying towards a wall, everyone including the villagers turns to see a teenage girl with her eye lens glowing red, it's Wanda Maximoff using her powers to save her brother and the hero, Spider-Man look to see that this girl has special powers that are mystical.

Wanda looking angry at the knights. "Get away from my brother!"

Hippo and Ursula charged in towards Wanda as she uses her chaos magic to telekinetically lift the disassembled robot Pietro took down recently and hurled those pieces at the incoming knights as they stopped their advance unable to move further, Wanda charged up her powers and unleashed a wave of strong chaos magic to sent those two knights flying off the ground, Lord Tyger got distracted as Spider-Man manages to strike back with a kick to the face and sent the leader flying and fell next to his fellow knights. Pietro took the shard off his leg and got himself back up, Lord Tyger is man enough to admit that this girl is too powerful for them to take on, especially with Spider-Man and Pietro joining up next to her.

"Retreat!" Lord Tyger said.

"What?!" Sir Ram is stunned.

"You heard me, return to Wundagore at once." Lord Tyger gave the order.

The Knights of Wundagore have no choice but to retreat as they've hopped back onto their atomic steeds and flies back to Wundagore as they've lost this battle, Spider-Man has no idea what's going on here, he just came here to investigate and find the missing astronauts, he didn't expect to encounter strange beings resembling humanoid animals, but his next surprise is the girl who just saved his life, Wanda's eye lens are still glowing red until they've returned back to normal and she stopped using her powers. Wanda looked around the village to see that the people witnessed her using her powers and they can't help but being afraid of her and what she can do, they're calling her "WITCH!" in their native language, Wanda feared as much this would happen the moment she used her powers, something she tried so hard to conceal. Spider-Man could tell that these two teens are the same age as him and they have powers too just like him, he's curious as to who they are, Wanda is being shy while Pietro looks happy to meet Spider-Man.

"Hey, thanks for helping me out, miss." Spider-Man thanks Wanda.

"Actually, it's you I should thank, if you hadn't come to my rescue, I'd be a goner, and I gotta say I can't believe that I'm actually meeting an Avenger, it's such an honor to meet you, Spider-Man!" Pietro is being jittery.

"I'm flattered someone around here knows who I am, but my question is who are you both?" Spider-Man said.

"Oh sorry, where are my manner? My name is Pietro and this is my sister Wanda." Pietro introduced himself and his sister.

"Nice to meet you both, can anyone care to tell me what's going here?" Spider-Man is still clueless by everything.

Pietro sighed. "It's... a long story and not a very pleasant one."

"Lucky for you I got the time, so please." Spider-Man said.

"But first things first, we need to tend to that wound on your leg, C'mon." Wanda said.

Pietro wanted to share somethings with Spider-Man, but that will have to wait as Spidey and Wanda helps Pietro back to the inn to treat that wound on his leg caused by the glass shard.

Later back at Wundagore Mountain, High Evolutionary is watching his automatons doing all the leg work as they're loading the Terrigen bombs onto the ship, soon he's about to unleash Terrigenesis upon the entire world and changing it forever, everything that's about to be transpired soon will be because of his work. The Knights of Wundagore flew into the base as they've just returned from the village without their robot battalion, they've got off their atomic steeds and walks down to meet up with their master to explains the situation that just happened very recently, the High Evolutionary turns to see his knights come back empty handed without test subjects, all four knights kneel before their master.

"Explain?" High Evolutionary said.

"My lord, I apologize, we were unsuccessful in our mission and I assume full responsibility for our failure." Lord Tyger said.

"How is it that my best warriors have failed? Explain everything!" High Evolutionary wants answers.

"We came across three individuals displaying great power, a silver haired boy who can move very fast, a red and blue warrior that is able to fire web and is agile, and a girl that can unleashed some kind of glowing red aura." Lord Tyger gave the details.

High Evolutionary is stunned by this revelation. "Did you say one is very fast and the other has red aura?"

"That's correct, my lord." Lord Tyger said.

High Evolutionary smiled as he knows those two teens. "So the twins have returned home, very intriguing."

"You know them? How?" Lord Tyger is confused.

"Not important, but now I have a new mission for you, Knights. I want you to go back to the village and bring me those two, alive." High Evolutionary gave the order.

All four knights received their orders as the High Evolutionary wants the Maximoff twins brought to him alive.

At the same time back at the village, a lot of villagers are cleaning up and fixing the damage the Knights and their forces caused around here, meanwhile in a inn, Spider-Man is with Wanda as they're helping Pietro who still got a piece of glass lodged into his flesh still hurting him the longer it's still in him, Wanda reluctantly uses her powers to remove the glass, Spider-Man watches Wanda removing the shard carefully as Pietro is feeling the pain and doing his best to fight through the pain, Wanda managed to extract the shard from his flesh successfully, Spidey could tell that her powers are definitely mystical by nature. Spider-Man applied some rubbing alcohol onto the wound making Pietro flinch some more.

"Stop being such a baby, Pietro!" Wanda said.

"Who are you calling a baby, sis? You know that I'm twelve minutes older than you." Pietro pointed out he's the oldest of the two.

Spider-Man wrapped a bandaged around Pietro's leg. "There, that should do it, it'll take some time for you to heal."

"No problem, I'm literally a fast healer, my wound will be gone within an a hour." Pietro assured.

"So you got a power too, what is it exactly?" Spider-Man said.

"I can run much faster than any normal can or even see." Pietro said.

"Oh, you have super speed too." Spider-Man said.

"I see you're very familiar with this power." Pietro said.

"Months ago I came across a speedster, a bad one." Spider-Man said.

"Lucky for you, I'm the good one." Pietro said.

"So you got super speed." Spider-Man turns to Wanda. "And I'm guessing that your powers are mystical by nature, aren't they?"

"How'd you know they're mystical?" Wanda said.

"Experience, I've came across magic in the two years as Spider-Man, but I've never seen one like yours before, it's more different than the ones used by Doctor Strange and Loki." Spider-Man said.

"It's chaos magic, the most powerful form of magic and also the most dangerous, it's the one gift I wished I never had." Wanda said.

"Why? What's makes you so afraid of it?" Spider-Man said.

"I don't want to talk about it." Wanda said.

"Okay, I won't pry, but I still have more questions. For instance, what where those things we fought against?" Spider-Man referring to the bestial beings.

Pietro sighed. "They're called New Men, animals modified to become more humanoid in every way, especially in intelligence. They've been sent by their creator, the High Evolutionary."

"You know them? How?" Spider-Man said.

"Like I said before, Spidey, it's a long story..." Pietro is willing to tell the story.

"Pietro, don't..." Wanda is uneasy about this.

"Wanda, he needs to know what he's up against, please..." Pietro said.

Wanda knows this story will bring up painful memories of their past with the High Evolutionary, but a part of her agrees that Spider-Man needs to know about the enemy he's going up against, so she sat down and brace herself in reliving old memories that will be too painful for her.

Spider-Man sits down. "Okay, I'm all ears."

Pietro sighed. "Our story started about fours years ago here in Transia...

(Flashback)

The year is 2020 in Transia, a family of Romani gypsies are traveling across the country in the region of Wundagore Mountain, at some point in their travel, they've stopped and made refuge nearby the mountain called Wundagore, the parent are set up a pit to cook while their twin children Wanda and Pietro are playing around the woods, their parents smiled to see their children having fun, Wanda and Pietro were both 13 at the time and Pietro had normal black hair back then, the twins had a normal childhood with parents who loved them very much, they were happy back then, but unfortunately their happiness as a family doesn't last forever.

"Me and Wanda traveled out here from our homeland Romania with our parents to explore the world, despite being poor and less fortunate, we were happy together, our parents loved us and did everything they could to give us a normal life, those were the good days... until one day it happened..." Pietro narrates the story.

All of a sudden a group of automatons came in flying from the sky and got the attention of the Maximoffs, the robots flew down towards the Romani family as Pietro and Wanda couldn't help but being worried for their parents surrounded by robots sent by the High Evolutionary to find anyone for him to do his experiments. The twins both came out of the forest and rushed towards their parents, the mother and father didn't want their children to risk their lives, but the twin's carelessness got the attention of the robots as they've spotted two more humans to capture for their master.

The father tried to protect his children by using a hammer he was holding earlier and strikes back at the robot, that proved to be a fatal mistake as they now considered the parents hostile, they fired their laser cannons and executed the twin's parents right before their eyes as they screamed "PAPA! MAMA!" Wanda and Pietro teared up to witness their parents killed and the robots now turn their attention towards the twins, Pietro and Wanda attempted to escape from them but these robots are capable of flight and they flew off the ground chasing after the twins to be capture alive. Pietro and Wanda did everything they could to try to outrun their pursuers, but they weren't fast enough as the robots managed to capture them both and flew them towards Wundagore Mountain, their fate is in the High Evolutionary's hands.

"The High Evolutionary sent his drones to capture any test subjects they could find, alive. They came for our parents and had them surrounded, me and Wanda rushed out of hiding to help them, but that proved to be a mistake. We ended up attracting the robot's attention, our father tried to protected us... those machines slaughter them right before eyes... we tried to escape, but we didn't far enough..." Pietro narrates the story.

(Present)

"... me and Wanda got captured and taken towards Wundagore Mountain, to the High Evolutionary himself... we can still remember our parents screaming the day they died, it still haunts us." Pietro felt saddened and traumatized telling the story.

"I'm sorry... I can relate to the pain you're in, I lost my parents too, they were murdered when I was six, my life changed that day too, but luckily I still had my uncle and aunt who were my only family left." Peter sympathize their loss.

"Pietro and I have each other, we're the last of our family." Wanda said.

"Okay, go on." Spider-Man wants to hear more of the story.

(Flashback)

Sometime after the Maximoff twins lost their parents and they got captured, the robots flew back into Wundagore Mountain in what appears to a castle built into the mountain itself. After the robots finally arrived with the twins, the robots lead the captured twins deep into the castle as Wanda gazed upon sculptures of the Darkhold and the beings capable of wielding chaos magic, she eventually passed by the statue of the God of Chaos itself, Chthon, Wanda can't help but feel but something deep inside the castle is reaching out to her, wants her for something. The twins looks around to see a lot of equipment set up here, they're in what appears to be a laboratory hidden in the mountain along with more drones and bestial beings called New Men. Eventually the robots brought Wanda and Pietro before the lord and master of Wundagore Mountain, the High Evolutionary.

"Wanda and me we're brought to Wundagore Mountain, there we met the very man who sent those drones that killed our parents and took everything from us, a strange being calling himself the High Evolutionary." Pietro narrates the story.

At some point of the story after they've met the High Evolutionary, Pietro and Wanda were kept prisoner within the prison along with other human beings the High Evolutionary captured and locked up for his experiments. For the past two years, High Evolutionary performed a series of experiments on the prisoners, including Wanda and Pietro, studying evolution and trying to make the human race better by giving them powers, unfortunately not everyone survived the experiment, except for Pietro and Wanda who were the only survivors, both of them are 15 at the time they've received their new gifts, Pietro is locked up in his cage and his hair color has been changed to silver, he exhibited super speed that he hasn't yet master them as he bounced himself against the walls of his cell, Wanda in the next cell discover that she can harness a strange power comprised of red aura that she used to levitate the cubes in the air, she then collides them together and breaking them.

"For two years, he kept us prisoners along with others to be used as guinea pigs for his twisted experiments, he said that science requires sacrifice and that our lives serves a greater purpose in human evolution. Some of us started to die off, except for me and Wanda, whatever he did gave us powers we never imagine having, in my case I've been given super speed." Pietro narrates the story.

(Present)

Wanda steps in to tell her side of the story. "Except my powers didn't come from the High Evolutionary, they're connected to something else entirely."

"Maybe the experiment the High Evolutionary performed on you must've enhanced or awaken what was already inside you." Spider-Man theorized Wanda's power origins.

"Anyway, after we got our powers, we've used them to escape from Wundagore Mountain and continued running far away trying to hide from the High Evolutionary, for the past two years we've remained under the radar trying to avoid attracting any unnecessary attention hoping that he wouldn't find us." Pietro said.

"So this High Evolutionary is based out of Wundagore Mountain, which means he must be responsible for the abduction of those astronauts in space. Pietro, you've been to the High Evolutionary's lab, do you have any idea where exactly it is?" Spider-Man said.

"Unfortunately yes, as much as I tried to forget that place, I can't, I know exactly where it's located." Pietro said.

"Can you show me how to get there?" Spider-Man said.

"Are you sure you want to head into the lion's den? The High Evolutionary is no joke, this guy has powers of his own, me and Wanda were barely lucky to escape from him alive. You still want to head towards Wundagore?" Pietro warning Spider-Man about the High Evolutionary.

"I can't just walk away and leave those astronauts in his hands to be used as human experiments, I won't." Spider-Man won't back away.

Pietro sighed calmly. "Okay, then I'll take you there myself."

"Pietro, no! This is suicide!" Wanda protested against this idea.

"Wanda, you know what this man has done to those he experimented on, they all died as a result, someone needs to stop this once and for all." Pietro said.

"Pietro, don't do this, we've both lost our parents because of him, you're all I have left to live for." Wanda teared up.

"Sis, I can't walk away and let those poor souls suffer what we've been through, I won't." Pietro said.

"Pietro, this isn't our fight!" Wanda protest again.

"Like hell it isn't, that bastard took everything from us, we can't just back and let him destroy anymore lives, I won't." Pietro said.

"Thank you, Pietro." Spider-Man said.

"You're both going to get yourselves killed, I won't be a part of this." Wanda said before walking away.

"Wanda..." Pietro tries to reason with her again.

"Let me alone!" Wanda still ignores her brother.

Wanda walks away from both Pietro and Spider-Man after they've made up their minds about heading towards Wundagore Mountain to face High Evolutionary, Pietro knows that Wanda has some compelling reasons not to go to the mountains, there's something else she fears more than High Evolutionary. Spider-Man couldn't help but being curious about Wanda as he sensed that she doesn't enjoy using these powers she posses, like she's afraid of it and herself.

Sometime later on a rooftop of the village, Wanda is sitting all alone wanting to be by herself as her brother decided to aid Spider-Man in leading him towards the High Evolutionary's lair in Wundagore Mountain, that place is cursed to her as during her time there she felt a presence calling out to her, wanting her to fulfill a destiny she wants no part of, Spider-Man came up to the rooftop to speak with Wanda and hope to convince her to join his cause against High Evolutionary, though it won't be easy, Wanda heard footsteps approaching her, she gets up and glows red aura from her hands as Spider-Man raised his hands up.

"Easy, it's just me, Spidey, I didn't mean to startle you, Wendy." Spider-Man with his hands up.

"Wanda!" Wanda corrects her names.

"Sorry, Wanda." Spider-Man said her name correctly.

Wanda dispersed her power. "If you came up here to convince me to join you and Pietro, save your breath, as I said before, this isn't my fight."

"If that were true, then why did you use your powers to save our lives?" Spider-Man said.

"I did it to save Pietro, not to help you, true is I never wanted these powers to begin with." Wanda said.

"Why Wanda? Why are you so afraid of your own power?" Spider-Man said.

Wanda felt uneasy talking about this subject. "I think that what I have inside me is connected to something, something demonic, something that wanted to me to fulfill a darker purpose on the world. In those two years I was locked up in Wundagore, I felt it reaching out to me, telling me that I have the power and a prophecy to accomplish, a destiny I want no part in, once I gained my powers, I used it to escape from that dark place. For two years I've done my best to suppress my powers, but it only grows more stronger as I age, it's getting difficult to hide it."

"Then don't, like it or not, Wanda, these powers are part of you." Spider-Man said.

"Why did this happened to me? Why did I have to be cursed with this? Why can't I be a normal like everyone else?" Wanda is afraid of herself.

"Wanda, you are normal, with powers or not, you're still a human being like everyone else." Spider-Man said.

"Do you have any idea what it's like to hide who you are?" Wanda said.

"Yeah, I do, but when you have a gift, you can't just do nothing and hope it goes away. What you do with these powers are your choice, Wanda, you could do great things with your gifts, you can use them for good, just like what you've did for me and your brother." Spider-Man said.

"You might see it as a gift, but to me it's a curse. You saw those villages earlier looking at me, they're afraid of me, they called me a witch." Wanda said.

"Don't take it personally, Wanda, people will always fear what they don't understand." Spider-Man said.

"You speak from experience, don't you?" Wanda said.

Spider-Man walks up and sits on the rooftop, Wanda sits next to Spider-Man to chat.

"I do, back in my early days as Spider-Man, I used to be criticized as a vigilante and a menace to the city, I still do sometimes." Spider-Man referencing Jameson's criticism against him.

"Do you ever wonder what your life would've been like if you never got your powers?" Wanda said.

"I still do, truth is I never wanted these powers in the first place, I wanted to have a normal life too, just like you." Spider-Man said.

"Whenever I'm with everyone, I tried my best to hide my powers, cause I fear that..." Wanda's sentence got cut off.

"If everyone found one who you are and what you can do, they'll see you differently." Spider-Man finished that sentence.

"Exactly, even these villages thinks that I'm a witch." Wanda said.

"Depends on what kind of witch you see yourself as and not what everyone thinks." Spider-Man said.

"And what kind of witch am I to you, Spider-Man? Do you think I'm bad?" Wanda is curious.

Spider-Man looks at Wanda and help noticed how beautiful Wanda is, he can't figure out why someone would be afraid of her.

"No, not at all, I think you're beautiful." Spider-Man said.

Wanda is surprised someone called her beautiful, especially a hero who is about her age, Wanda can't help but find Spider-Man attractive despite not knowing what he looks like underneath that mask. Wanda uses her powers on Spider-Man's mask to pull it up partially to expose his mouth and chin which made Spider-Man confused as to what's going on, Wanda moves in closer towards Spider-Man, specifically his lips.

"Wanda, what are you doing?" Spider-Man said.

"What do you think?" Wanda moving in closer.

Wanda's lips almost reach his until Spider-Man stops her in her place.

"Wanda, wait... we can't!" Spider-Man said.

"What? Why?" Wanda is confused until she realized something. "Is there someone else?"

Spider-Man nodded his head. "Yes."

"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me." Wanda said.

"It's okay, Wanda." Spider-Man said.

Wanda and Spider-Man sits on the rooftop as a couple of knights on steeds are flying down towards the village as they spotted one of the twins with a hero, Spider-Man's sense tingles as he sensed danger is coming, he looks up to sees two knights coming their way as they both tossed a net upon them.

"Wanda, look out!" Spider-Man yells.

Spider-Man pushed Wanda away before the net entangles them together, but Spider-Man got caught in the net and pulled away from the rooftop, Wanda gets back up to see that the Knights of Wundagore captured Spider-Man in their net.

"SPIDER-MAN!" Wanda yells.

Pietro came to his sister's side at super speed to see that the knights has captured Spider-Man and heading back towards Wundagore Mountain unable to get away. Spider-Man is still trapped inside the net as he attempts to escape, the knights noticed him trying to break out, they unleashed electricity throughout the net and shocking Spider-Man with so much voltage until he lost consciousness. The twins looked to see the knights flying far away from the village and far out of their reach, the knights are taking him straight to High Evolutionary himself, they know what fate that awaits Spider-Man.

"Pietro, they took him, they took Spider-Man!" Wanda is worried.

Pietro sighed. "We know exactly where they're going... we have to go and help him."

"To help him means that we'll have to go back to the one place we've never wanted to return to." Wanda is afraid.

"Wanda, I know that you're afraid and you have ever reason to be, but we can't stay here and do nothing while Spider-Man's life is in serious danger, we both know what the High Evolutionary does to those he captures, if we don't go there, then it'll be too late. He's going to do to Spidey what's he's done to us, or worse. Wanda, we have to help him and I can't do this alone, not without you, I know that you don't want to use your powers, but they could be our only hope to save him, please Wanda." Pietro trying to convince Wanda.

Wanda has every reason to be afraid not to go back to Wundagore Mountain, she does her best to stay away from that dark place and put it behind her, besides she doesn't want to use her powers as they're connected to something that lies within that mountain itself, but right now these powers she's afraid of might do some good in helping them save an innocent life.

"Okay Pietro, I'm with you." Wanda said.

"Are you sure about this, Wanda?" Pietro said.

"I am, I won't let Spider-Man suffer the same fate we've been through and won't let the High Evolutionary destroy anymore lives." Wanda made up her mind.

"Okay, let's go." Pietro said.

Sometime later as the sun is setting down, the knights returned back to Wundagore Mountain with their captured prisoner, Hippo and Ursula are each dragging Spider-Man by the arms and escorting him throughout the lab, Spidey is still conscious to see all the equipment along with statues of some kind of demonic god along with witches who are capable of wielding chaos magic. The Knights are walking towards the High Evolutionary watching the drones loading up the last of the Terrigen bombs onto the ship, the ship is loaded with enough bombs to disperse on the entire world, the High Evolutionary turns to see his knights has returned with a prisoner, but not one of the twins, Spider-Man looks up to finally meet the High Evolutionary in person.

"I told you wanted those twins, who is this?" High Evolutionary isn't pleased.

"He's one of those enhanced beings who opposed us, he displayed incredible feats unlike anything I've ever seen before." Lord Tyger explained.

"I see, no matter, he'll have to do, we got enough Terrigen bombs on board, it's time to initiate the next phase, bring him onto the ship and prepare for takeoff." High Evolutionary said.

Lord Tyger comply as he and his knights takes Spider-Man onto the cloaked ship, High Evolutionary is getting on board and ready for his trip back into space, he's about to unleash terrigenesis upon the entire world, but High Evolutionary has plans for Spider-Man as he finds him and his gifts interesting to be used in his vision of evolution. Spider-Man is being escorted down the ship to see what appears to be bombs loaded with some kind of mists, he even passed a holding cell where the astronauts are kept prisoners, but no sign of John Jameson.

Meanwhile outside on the mountain, a silver streak is running too fast trying to reach the top at high speed, it's Pietro carrying Wanda in his arms trying to reach the High Evolutionary's lab at the top, eventually the Maximoff twins made it to the top and stands outside of the entrance, the twins are feeling uneasy being back to the very place they've never wanted to come back to, but they'll have to overcome their fears if it means saving Spider-Man from High Evolutionary.

"We're here, again." Pietro felt uneasy.

"Let's go." Wanda is also uneasy.

Wanda and Pietro ventured deep into the place to find Spider-Man and rescue him before High Evolutionary does his experiments on him, they passed by a laboratory full of body bags of those he experimented on and died as a result, this place gave them goosebumps as they could feel the ghosts of those who have died because of High Evolutionary, this place hardly has anyone here, it's completely empty and still no sign of Spider-Man.

"Where is everyone?" Pietro looks around the place.

The twins continues their search for Spider-Man and hopes that they're not too late, they've finally arrived at what appears to be a refinery in the main room where a statue of Chthon is gazing all over, Pietro walked over to the refinery to pick up a sample of a crystal unlike anything he or humanity has ever seen before, he wonders what High Evolutionary was doing here and what he's planning next. Wanda looks at the Chthon statue as she feels like it's reaching out to her.

"Wanda... Wanda..." Chthon's voice.

Pietro sees Wanda walking towards the statue and got worried. "Wanda, what is it?"

"You have come to me, my child, at last, now is the time to fulfill your destiny, you have the power to release me from my prison, set me free and we shall become one, together we shall unleash chaos upon the entire world, release me." Chthon's voice.

Wanda's powers are connected to Chthon as they're tempting her to release his spirit from the statue, Wanda is having a hard time resisting as she raised her hand up with chaos magic formed around it, Pietro sees Wanda is about to do something and that made him more worried than ever.

"Yes... free me... it is your destiny." Chthon's voice.

"Wanda, what are you doing?" Pietro said.

"Something is calling out to me, wants me to free it and take me." Wanda holding up her hand glowing.

"Whatever it is you're doing, don't!" Pietro said.

"I'm sorry Pietro, but I have no choice." Wanda can't fight it.

"Yes, you do! You always a have a choice, Wanda, you think you're cursed, you're not. Wanda, you have a good heart, when me and Spidey were in danger, you used your powers to save us." Pietro said.

"What if this is who am I and I'm meant to be? What am I, Pietro?" Wanda said.

"I know who you are, Wanda Maximoff, you're my sister, never forget who you are." Pietro reaching out to her.

"Free me..." Chthon's voice.

Wanda is about to use her powers to break Chthon's spirit free from the statue and join with him as one, but she stopped herself at the last second and thought about what Pietro said about her and who she is, she even remembers her conversation with Spider-Man about using her powers for good, Chthon on the other hand wants to use them for evil, Wanda still has a good heart and hasn't been fully corrupted by Chthon's influences.

"What are you waiting for? Free me!" Chthon's voice.

Wanda dispersed her powers. "No... No, you don't get to tell me who I am and what I can do. You want me to go down a dark path, I want to follow my own path and do good!"

"You delude yourself, child, you can't change who you are!" Chthon's voice.

"I can try and I will! I'll forge my own destiny and use my powers for good." Wanda walks away from the statue. "Let's go Pietro."

"You're only delaying the inevitable, one day you shall return and you shall fulfill the prophecy, it is your destiny." Chthon's voice.

Wanda and Pietro walked away from the statue with Chthon's spirit is still trapped and ignoring his words, Wanda was so close to releasing him from his prison and merging with him, she had the will to resist and chose to follow her own path, and right now she chose to help her brother save Spider-Man from High Evolutionary. All of a sudden they heard a commotion coming from outside the mountain itself, the High Evolutionary's ship has de-cloaked itself and fires up it's thruster causing a shockwave throughout the mountain.

"What is that?" Wanda said.

"I don't know, but come on!" Pietro rushed towards it.

Pietro and Wanda found what appears to be a ship so close to the mountain as it's slowly moving away about to head back into space, the twins figured that the High Evolutionary is on board the craft along with Spider-Man as his prisoner, the ship is too far for them to reach.

"What do we do?" Wanda said.

Pietro is thinking until he got an idea. "I know a way to get on board, but I'll need your help for this."

"Anything, what do you have in mind?" Wanda said.

Pietro picked up Wanda in his arms and ran back inside the mountain, he stops as he got a lock on the ship, Wanda has no idea what Pietro is about to do, but it's going to be very daring and dangerous, but it's necessary.

"Okay, now what?" Wanda in Pietro's arms.

"I'm going to run super fast to gain enough momentum to jump across, but I'll need you to give me a boost once I do, understand?" Pietro explains his plan.

"I do! Ready when you are!" Wanda in Pietro's arms.

Pietro positioned himself for the run. "One... Two... Three!"

Pietro runs super fast through the cave with Wanda until they've reached the edge.

"NOW!" Pietro yells out.

Wanda uses her powers to give Pietro the boost he needed to jump very high up above the mountain, Pietro and Wanda are jumping across as they could see they're very high up above the ground, if they missed reaching the ship then they'll fall to their deaths. Pietro and Wanda are still in the air and almost reaching the ship until they've finally landed on top of the hull.

Pietro smiled and chuckled. "We did it!"

Pietro and Wanda could feel the vibration throughout the ship's hull as it's about to head up into space, the twins need to get inside before it's too late, Wanda found what appears to be a hatch, she uses her powers to unlock it and opens it up, the twins quickly climbed inside the ship as it's heading back into space.

(Inside)

Spider-Man is starting to wake up to find out that he's on board a ship that looks somewhat familiar to him like he's seen it's kind before, but he soon finds out that he's strapped down and restrained, locked in a room with a strange machine before him unable to escape, the last he remembers before blacking out is being captured by the Knights of Wundagore and meet their master the High Evolutionary. He knows the astronauts are here on board this ship, but his biggest concern is the bombs he saw earlier, it looks like High Evolutionary is about to do something big very soon. Coming into the room, the High Evolutionary himself sees the newest addition to his experiments, this Spider-Man.

"So you're this mysterious spider person who bested my knights, fascinating." High Evolutionary said.

"Let me guess, the High Evolutionary." Spider-Man said.

"So you do know who I am, I'm touched." High Evolutionary said.

"The Maximoff told me a lot about you, how you've experimented on them and all those innocent people without their consent, and how it lead them to their deaths." Spider-Man said.

"I had heard the twins have returned to Transia, I had hope to see them again and see how their powers manifested these past two years, but instead I have you. You're an amazing creature, Spider-Man, your genetic code is bonded with that of a spider giving you powers I've never imagined was possible even for me." High Evolutionary said.

"What have you done to Col. Jameson?" Spider-Man said.

"Who?" High Evolutionary said.

"One of the astronauts you've captured, where is he?" Spider-Man said.

"Oh, him, not to worry, he is here, he's the first being I've experimented on since my return to Earth, but the experiment took a toll on him... don't worry, he's still alive, just out cold." High Evolutionary explained John's fate.

"How do you live with yourself with all the lives you've destroyed?" Spider-Man is disturbed by what High Evolutionary has done.

"Science always requires sacrifice, those beings who had died served a greater purpose for human evolution, everything I've done is for evolution." High Evolutionary justifies his actions no matter the cost.

"This ship..." Spider-Man looks at the ship's design. "It's Kree, isn't it?"

"Very observant, so you know about the Kree." High Evolutionary said.

"I've met them, even seen their technology, though this one seems much older." Spider-Man said.

"Yes, this ship is of Kree design, it has been buried in the Earth for 25,000 years, I've found it years ago and claimed it as my own for my interstellar travel." High Evolutionary said.

"What about those bombs you have on board? I've seen them the moment I was brought on board, what are you planning?" Spider-Man said.

"I see no harm in telling you since you're about to join my new world." High Evolutionary holds up a crystal to show Spider-Man. "Do you know what this is?"

"A crystal." Spider-Man said.

"Not just any crystal, Terrigen Crystal, these crystals are quite amazing, they contain certain properties that triggers certain genes for terrigenesis." High Evolutionary explained about the crystals.

"Terrigenesis?" Spider-Man is unfamiliar.

"Let me take this to the very beginning, about 25,000 years ago, the Kree Empire were engaged in a eternal war with their mortal enemies, the Skrulls Empire, a war still waged to this day, this very ship we stand in participated in that very war until it's occupants were forced to jump away from their system to escape certain annihilation, it jumped into our solar system and crashed landed on Earth. This ship suffered majored damage, the Kree were left stranded here unable to return home to their empire, so their scientists decided to conduct their experiments on the local beings of this planet, the humans. They captured and bioengineered so many humans in hopes of creating a powerful army with incredible powers to be used in their fight against the Skrulls in their war, using Terrigen crystals they've created in order to trigger the new genes the Kree imprinted in the subjects, they've initiated terrigenesis and they've underwent a change, after it's done these beings became the first of their kind, an new breed of humans called the Inhumans. The Kree finally succeeded in creating them, unfortunately the Inhumans turned against them and rebelled, using their new powers to overthrow their creators, the Kree were annihilated and the Inhumans scattered throughout the Earth. For generations, they've breed with other humans and the Inhumans genes lived on through their descendants, laying dormant awaiting to be unleashed. At some point when I was still a human obsessed with science, I've discovered this ship and found all the research the Kree left behind, it took me a really long time to decipher the alien language, but with more time and patient I've finally unlocked the secret and dedicated my life to continuing what they've started, using their research I was able to enhanced and evolve myself, made myself more than human, more like a god." High Evolutionary explained his and the Inhuman's origins.

"I've known a few gods in my life, and you're no god." Spider-Man said.

"What you think is of no importance to me, what matters is my goal, thanks to the Terrigen crystals I've collected over the years, I've finally have enough to distribute onto the entire world, those who carry the dormant Inhuman genes are about to undergo terrigenesis, humanity is about experience a huge change thanks to me." High Evolutionary revealed his endgame.

"You can't do that! What if it doesn't work and it ends up killing them along with every non Inhuman? Billions will die!" Spider-Man is troubled by this news.

"Perhaps, but as I said before, science requires sacrifice. Even if it fails, I would've lost nothing, I will simply start over from scratch. But before we get to that, I still have you to deal with." High Evolutionary said.

High Evolutionary walks over to his prized creation, the Evolutionary Acceleration Machine, Spider-Man has no idea what this man is about to do to him, but he'll soon find out. High Evolutionary is powering it up as he's about to use it on Spider-Man.

"What is that thing?" Spider-Man asking about the machine.

"This is the Evolutionary Acceleration Machine, my prized possession created using Kree technology, it speeds up the natural evolution of any being caught in its rays. When I first started experimenting on myself to make myself more than human, I used it to accelerate my own evolution and this became the result of the godlike being you see before your own eyes. You, my friend, shall have the honor to become much more than you are now as you shall join in my new utopia." High Evolutionary explained.

High Evolutionary types in the control as the Evolutionary Acceleration Machine has reached full power, it's rays fired upon Spider-Man as he's starting to feel a change happening to his own body.

"AH! WHAT'S... HAPPENING..." Spider-Man being exposed to the rays.

"Don't fight it, I'm accelerating your evolution, soon you'll have no humanity left." High Evolutionary said.

Spider-Man is changing underneath the suit as something is forming up underneath his arms, all of a sudden four more arms formed up and his skin is covered in hair, High Evolutionary walks up to see that his face underneath the mask is changing, he took the mask off Spider-Man and tossed it aside as he watched his new hairy face growing out multiples eyes and mandibles, eventually the rays have stopped as his new evolution is complete, he's became a spider like creature all feral and lacking any humanity, High Evolutionary and his Knights of Wundagore gazed upon the newest addition to their ranks.

"Welcome to my Knights, Man-Spider." High Evolutionary smiled.

Spider-Man has turned into a spider creature called Man-Spider, he is now under the control of the High Evolutionary and newest member to his Knights of Wundagore. High Evolutionary then walks out of the room to look out through the window to see the ship has left Earth's atmosphere, they are now in space.

Meanwhile elsewhere on the ship, Wanda and Pietro have successfully infiltrated the ship undetected as they feel the lack of gravity doing it's work as they're floating up above the ground until the ship's artificial gravity does it's work and they stood up on their feet, they look out through the window to see that they're no longer on Earth, they're in space, this is actually a first time for them especially for Pietro who seemed to enjoy it a bit.

"Look sis, we're in space." Pietro looking through the window.

"Yeah, wonderful Pietro, but we don't have much time, we have to find Spider-Man and rescue him in time. Okay, do you thing and scout around." Wanda said.

"Got it, sis!" Pietro then speeds away.

Pietro runs around the ship searching room to room while Wanda follows as fast as she can, Pietro is still having no luck in finding Spider-Man or the High Evolutionary as this ship they're in is massive, but eventually Pietro found a brig where captured astronauts are kept prisoner, one of them has a cast around his broken arm and hand, Pietro then unlocks the brig and enters to check up on the astronaut, Wanda eventually caught up with him.

"Hi! Who are you guys?" Pietro greeted the astronauts.

"My name is Ben Grimm, we're all astronauts doing a mission until we got capture by this vessel, they had us locked up here since yesterday. One of our own, Col. Jameson has been taken to another part of this ship, we still don't know where or if he's even alive, at least I have he is." Ben Grimm explained their situation.

"Don't worry, we'll find him along with someone the High Evolutionary took as his prisoner, Spider-Man." Pietro said.

"Spider-Man? He's here? On this ship?" Ben Grimm is surprised.

"Yeah, we'll find him along with your friend. In the meantime, you all might want to make a run for it." Pietro said.

"The shuttle we were all boarded in, it could still be dock with this ship." Ben Grimm said.

"Alright, can you all make you own way there?" Wanda said.

"I think so, we might retrace our way there." Ben Grimm said.

"Okay, get going and wait for us, we'll try to get there as soon as possible with your friend and Spider-Man." Wanda said.

"Alright, we'll make preparations and wait as long we can, don't take too long, good luck." Ben Grimm said.

Ben Grimm along with his fellow astronauts are all making their way back to the shuttle and prepare for immediate departure with everyone, assuming they get there on them, meanwhile Wanda and Pietro ventured on through the ship to find Spider-Man along with the missing astronaut John Jameson.

At the same time at the bridge of the ship, High Evolutionary along with his knights including Man-Spider are all gazing upon the Earth as he is finally ready to initiate the final phase of his grand plan for the world.

"The time has finally come, unleash the Terrigen bombs now!" High Evolutionary gave the order.

Sir Ram comply with his lord's orders and pressed the button, outside in space down below at the ship's belly, missile pods are opening up all loaded up with Terrigen bombs, they all launched from the pods and descend down towards all corners of the Earth, at another part of this ship Wanda and Pietro felt something launched from this ship as they all looked through the window to see bombs launched out and heading down towards Earth, whatever the High Evolutionary has done can't be good.

Back down on Earth at the mobile headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury is at the bridge overseeing operations from here along with Maria Hill, all of a sudden, one of the monitors picked up on the shuttle's emergency beacon, it's back in space, but there's also another problem to address.

"Director Fury, the emergency beacon is back in space."

"Patch me to Spider-Man, I need some answers..." Nick Fury said.

"Sir, something is coming down straight out of the atmosphere!"

The whole Helicarrier is on alert as Nick Fury and Maria Hill are watching the holoscreen to see incoming objects coming down from the atmosphere, and it's happening everywhere at ever corner of the Earth.

(Jersey City)

Down on the surface it's morning time in Jersey City, the day is April 4th as many people are going on with their normal lives, including a couple of fourteen year olds named Bruno Carrelli walking with his best friend, a teenage girl of Pakistani descent wearing a Captain Marvel t-shirt, everyone down on the ground heard a thunder crack noise coming from the sky which made everyone very worried, they got a glimpse of something coming down from the sky.

Everyone down in New York also noticed something is heading down above their heads, the Terrigen Bomb finally reach the right altitude for it to be detonated, the bomb finally exploded high above the sky and created a Terrigen Mist that spread throughout the entire five boroughs including Jersey City, eventually the mist made it's way down towards the city and it's people. The mist is spreading all around and some people are confused as to what this is, none of them are affect, except for a few dozen who are feeling the effects of the mists triggering the dormant Inhuman genes and awakening them, these people are stunned as something strange is happening to them, a strange cocoon is forming up all around them and encasing them inside undergoing terrigenesis, a few more are being encased in cocoons while other people are completely unaffected.

Back up in space inside the ship, Wanda and Pietro eventually made it to a room where a strange machine is being stored, but what caught their attention is Spider-Man's mask down on the floor, the twins walks up and Pietro picked up the mask, it's a sign that Spider-Man was here but he isn't here, they fear the worst has happened to him.

"It's his mask alright, but where is he?" Pietro holds up Spider-Man's mask.

Wanda sighed uneasy. "I don't like this, I hope that he's alright."

"Me too." Pietro said.

"Let's keep searching." Wanda said.

Pietro puts Spidey's mask inside his hoodie for safekeeping as he and Wanda continue on with their search, they fear that High Evolutionary did his experiments on Spider-Man and has done something to him, just like he did to them, they pray that he's still alive at least. The twins know one place they haven't checked out, the bridge, they figured that's the one place where the High Evolutionary might be and hopefully Spider-Man is there, if he's even alive. Pietro picked up Wanda and rushed around the ship finding the bridge overlooking everything, eventually they made it to the entrance and opens it up as High Evolutionary along with his Knights and Man-Spider are all waiting for them, High Evolutionary smiles to see the twins agains after two years.

"Wanda, Pietro, you've returned to me." High Evolutionary greeted them.

The twins then noticed one of the creatures is wearing what appears to be Spider-Man's suit, they became shocked to find out what became of the hero, he has been turned into a spider like monster.

"My god... Spider-Man, what has he's done to you?" Wanda is stunned.

"I've evolved him, made him more that what he was, now he shall join us in our new utopia and I would like for you both to be part of that." High Evolutionary said.

"What Utopia?" Wanda said.

"Long before you both came into my life, during my time away from Earth, I've created a new world, a world very much identical to Earth in every way, but different and more perfect, I've created a grand society and a great paradise where my creations can flourish and live in peace. Now I offer you both that chance at paradise, come and join me in my new world where you both can live your new lives in peace, far away from this world of violence." High Evolutionary said.

"We had peace... with our family, the one you've destroyed and ripped away from us." Wanda is very angry.

"We'll never join you." Pietro is also equally angry.

"A shame, I had hoped to do this in a peaceful way, but you chose the more violent way, no matter, you're both here, I shall take you both to my new world by force, only then will you change your minds." High Evolutionary said.

"Don't count on it." Pietro said.

"My knights, capture them by force." High Evolutionary said.

"With pleasure, my lord." Sir Ram hold up his hammer.

High Evolutionary made his first move and unleashed a blast of telekinetic energy upon the twins as Wanda uses her powers to shield herself while Pietro makes a run towards the High Evolutionary himself and managed to get close enough to strike with a fast uppercut, the supervillain got knocked down off his feet, Lord Tyger intervened as he pulled out his sword and came charging at Pietro who then speeds away from the sword swing, Ursula and Hippo are coming charging in at Wanda who then lowered her shield and strikes back with a blast of Chaos magic and knocked Ursula back hard. Man-Spider is swinging around firing off organic webbing from his multiple wrists attempting to hit Pietro, but the speedster is too evasive to hit.

"Come on, Spidey! Don't you recognize me?!" Pietro attempting to reach out.

Man-Spider is still attempting to attack Pietro and his words aren't getting through to him, meanwhile Hippo is swinging his mace towards Wanda, she then shields herself as Hippo kept on hitting her barrier attempting to break it. Pietro sees that his sister is in trouble, he then runs around Sir Ram, engulfed him in a tornado created by super speed, Sir Ram got sent flying towards Lord Tyger and both knights got knocked out cold. Pietro sees that Wanda is having a hard time maintaining her barrier as Hippo is so close to cracking it wide open, Pietro picked up Sir Ram's hammer and came charging in at high speed and swings the hammer hard on Hippo, knocking him towards the escape pod nearby, Hippo got inside it as Pietro came towards the controls and closed it tight, Hippo is trapped inside.

"Time for you to take the Earthway Express!" Pietro smiled.

Pietro hits the eject button and sent the escape pod away from the ship and heading down towards Earth itself, but Pietro isn't done yet as Man-Spider is jumping towards him and he speeds away attempting not to attack him, meanwhile High Evolutionary is getting back up on his feet to see Pietro moving too fast away from Man-Spider, he unleashed a psychic blast and knocked Pietro off his feet and he crashed himself against the wall. High Evolutionary wants to deal with Pietro himself, but Wanda jumped in and intervened as she's got unfinished business with him, it's very personal.

Wanda's eye pupils are glowing red in angry. "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!"

"You should be thanking me, Wanda, I gave you and your brothers gifts." High Evolutionary throws his contributions at her.

"YOU GAVE US NOTHING!" Wanda is angry.

Wanda unleashed a beam of Chaos magic while High Evolutionary fires back with a beam of psychic energy, both powers collided and cancelled each other out, Wanda and Evolutionary are evenly matched in terms of power, both super beings began fight with one another attempting to overpower the other. Meanwhile Pietro is stuck holding off against Man-Spider who is still under the High Evolutionary's control, this being is crawling on the ceiling and firing off multiple webbings in hopes to hit his target.

"I really don't want to hurt you, Spidey, but it's the only way to save you." Pietro felt uneasy about what he's about to do.

Man-Spider jumped down from the ceiling and stands on his two legs, he fired off more webbing towards Pietro who then speeds and tangle some, he speeds around Man-Spider and wrapping it up in it's own webbing, eventually he stopped and gazed upon Man-Spider trapped in it's own webbing unable to get out, Pietro slowly approaches him with his fist tighten.

"Forgive me for this." Pietro throws his fist.

Pietro punched Man-Spider hard in the head and knocking it out cold, Pietro hates to have to hurt a friend, but it's necessary to help save Spider-Man from himself, Pietro looked to see that Wanda is tossing some hex bolts and is overpowering High Evolutionary who is having trouble defending himself against her powers, eventually got tired out and let his guard down, Wanda engulfed him in red aura and lifts him up above the floor and proceeded to crushing him, breaking apart his exoskeleton and making him suffer in pain, Wanda doesn't show any signs of stopping as Pietro is getting worried that she'll do something she'll regret.

"WANDA, DON'T! HE'S NOT WORTH IT!" Pietro reaching out loudly.

Wanda got a hold of herself and stops crushing High Evolutionary, she dropped him down onto the floor as he's too weak to fight back, he lifts his head only to show a partial crack in his exohelmet, showing off his true face underneath it. Pietro is relieved that Wanda was able to stop herself in time before she crossed the line she could never come back from. Wanda walked up to check on Man-Spider still unconscious, she used her magic to reach through to his mind, Wanda is attempting to find any trace of Spider-Man's consciousness inside this monster's head.

"Well?" Pietro said.

"He's still in there, trapped inside this monster." Wanda can sense Spider-Man.

"That's good, but the real question is how do we turn him back?" Pietro said.

Wanda has no idea on how to reverse this process done to Spider-Man, but she then turns her attention towards High Evolutionary, he made Spider-Man this way, only he has the answers they seek to return him back to normal, Wanda and Pietro walked in front of the High Evolutionary still weakened from the fight.

"How do we turn Spider-Man back to normal?" Wanda demanded answers.

"What makes you think that there is a way?" High Evolutionary isn't being compliant.

"Don't give us the BS, you made him this way, you can fix this!" Pietro demanded.

"Even if there is a way, I would never help you, you might as well kill me before I ever tell you." High Evolutionary refused to help.

"Oh you'll talk..." Wanda raised her glowing hands. "One way or another!"

"Wanda, are you sure you want to do this? You never did anything like this before." Pietro has some worries.

"It's the only way to help Spider-Man, I have to do this." Wanda made up her mind.

Pietro is still unsure about what Wanda is about to do, it's one thing to sense someone's mind, but to probe it is another thing, especially since she lacks any practice to this particular power, Wanda placed both her hands on High Evolutionary's head and channels her magic through his mind, Wanda closes her eyes and dives into his mind to find the answers she seeks. Wanda is inside High Evolutionary's mind and looking around all his memories for that one piece of information to help Spider-Man, but it's still too much information in his head, she sees his old life as a normal human named Herbert Wyndham, a English scientist obsessed in studying evolution, she found out how he became the High Evolutionary through his experimentation on himself using alien technology to evolve himself into something else entirely.

Meanwhile High Evolutionary himself is attempting to push Wanda out of his mind, Wanda is having a hard time maintaining focus as she's feeling the strains of the mind reading doing to her, making Pietro worried for his sister risking herself to help Spider-Man. Back inside High Evolutionary's mind, Wanda got to see all the experiments he did on all the innocent people he used as guinea pigs he saw as expendable in the name of evolution, this is becoming too painful for Wanda to hand as her powers are starting to overpower on High Evolutionary's mind, causing mental pain to his brain causing him to scream out in agony, Wanda still hasn't found the information yet as she still stays focused at the task at hand no matter what.

Pietro is getting more worried that Wanda is over-risking herself as High Evolutionary is screaming out loud suffering from mental abuse her powers is causing to his head, Wanda is still inside the mind of High Evolutionary as she found the recent memories up ahead, she watched as she sees Spider-Man being transformed into Man-Spider by the very same machine he used on himself to become a godlike being he is now. She found out how this is done, she just now needs to probe even further into his mind to find a way to reverse Spider-Man's evolution back to normal. She extracts the information from his mind, causing even further damage to it in the process.

High Evolutionary screams out loud, suffering from more mental abuse, Wanda is screaming out loud as it's affecting her too, all of a sudden Wanda let's go of High Evolutionary's head and broke off the connection, High Evolutionary fell down to the floor as Pietro quickly rushed to her and holds her up as using her powers to probe someone's mind can take a lot out of her.

"Wanda? Wanda, are you okay?" Pietro holding up Wanda.

Wanda took some deep breaths and recovers. "I'm fine... I got the information, I know how to help Spider-Man. Let's go."

Wanda uses her powers to lift an unconscious Man-Spider up and carries him away as Pietro follows Wanda's lead, High Evolutionary is left on the floor, the damage Wanda's powers has done to his mind left him mentally impaired. The remaining knights are getting back up on their feet only to find their master on the floor completely immobilized and drooling.

"My lord!" Lord Tyger is stunned.

"Oh no!" Sir Ram is worried.

"Master!" Lady Ursula is worried.

The knights all rushed towards their master's side and helps him up, High Evolutionary's mind is completely damaged and unresponsive, they suspect that one of their enemies is responsible for this incident, they wanted to make their enemies pay for what they done to their master, but they must stay and protect him at all cost.

Meanwhile at the room where the Evolutionary Acceleration Machine is stored, Man-Spider is placed right before it as Wanda is at the controls and using the knowledge she obtained from High Evolutionary's mind, she found a way to reverse Spider-Man's evolution and changing him back to human, after she's done reconfiguring it to devolve anything caught in it's rays, Wanda hold out her hand awaiting to push the button.

"Come on, let's pray this works." Wanda is being hopeful.

Wanda pressed the button and the machine unleashed the rays upon Man-Spider as it's waking up and feeling it's effects doing it's work on his body, the twins are watching as the arms are started to form back into the body, the creature is losing it's form and changing back to human as Spider-Man is face down on his hands and knees, nobody can get a good look at his face as he has his head facing down, eventually the rays has stopped and Spider-Man is back to normal.

"The mask, Pietro." Wanda wants Spider-Man's mask.

"What?" Pietro said.

"He wears a mask for a reason, we must respect his right to protect his identity." Wanda said.

Pietro pulls out Spidey's mask from the hoodie and hands it to Wanda, she took it and carefully approaches Spider-Man still weaken from the transformation, Wanda got down on her knees and puts the mask over his head to cover his face and protect his identity, Wanda got back up on her feet after she's done putting the mask back on Spider-Man, the hero gets up to see the twins are here on the ship, Spider-Man got back up on his feet with his suit all torn by the transformation except for his mask.

"Wanda? Pietro? What are you two doing here?" Spider-Man is confused.

"We came to rescue you, don't you remember?" Pietro said.

"No, I don't remember anything except that High Evolutionary used some kind of ray on me, after that my mind blanked out." Spider-Man said.

"Yeah, he turned you into a big spider creature that almost killed us, but luckily we're here to save you." Pietro said.

"Thank you both for coming to my rescue, especially you Wanda, I wasn't sure you would." Spider-Man said.

"Neither did I, but I have a gift, someone told me that I do great things with it, and that's what I did, I decided to use them for good, just like you." Wanda smiles.

"Guess there is a hero inside you, Wanda. You too, Pietro." Spider-Man told the twins.

"Thanks for the compliment, Spidey." Pietro said.

"This is great, but we still have a job to do, the astronauts are still waiting at the shuttle and we still have one more life to save." Wanda said.

"Right, time to go." Spider-Man said.

"Follow me." Wanda leads the way.

Wanda leads Spider-Man and Pietro out to another room where John Jameson is strapped to the table unconscious, eventually all three made it and spotted John on the table, this room looks like a testing lab and John was the test subject, Spider-Man came up to the table and hopes that John is still alive.

Spider-Man attempts to wake John up. "Col. Jameson, wake up!"

Spider-Man shakes John to wake him up from his sleep, his eyes started to twitch and open up, John sees Spider-Man right before his eyes.

"Spider-Man?" John said.

"Yeah, it's me, glad you're alive. Come on, let's get you home." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man took off the restraints and helps John off the table, but he tumbles down but Spider-Man caught him and holds him up, John is still too weak from being experimented on, Pietro came up and took John's right arm over his shoulder, Wanda leads the way with Spider-Man and Pietro helping John up, all four are making their way through the ship. Back at the shuttle, the astronaut got the craft working and ready for departure, but they're still awaiting for John and the others to come on board. The four eventually made it to the airlock and boarded the shuttle, they closed the airlock hatch behind them as they're all on board now, the astronaut are surprised to see Spider-man with Col. Jameson.

"John! What happened to him?" Ben Grimm said.

"He's alive, but still weak, he needs a hospital fast." Spider-Man said.

"The shuttle is good to go, except one problem, John is the pilot and we need him to fly it." Ben Grimm said.

"Can anyone else fly this craft?" Spider-Man said.

"I could, except..." Ben Grimm shows off his cast. "My arm and hand is broken, I need both hands to fly it, without them, it's impossible."

Spider-Man sighed. "Well, I guess I could fly this bird, I got flight training."

"But can you fly a shuttle?" Ben Grimm said.

"I guess we'll find out, I'll need your help to give me some advice." Spider-Man said.

"Very well, I'll offer you my help as a consultant." Ben Grimm said.

"Let's do it." Spider-Man said.

The astronauts helps John strapped down to the seats while Spider-Man and Ben Grimm climb into the cockpit with the twins follow, Spider-Man takes the pilot seat with Ben Grimm riding shotgun and offering the hero his experience in piloting the craft, Spider-Man straps the seatbelts and puts on the headphones, he pressed some buttons and takes the control.

"All systems are green, fire thrusters, let's get out of here." Ben Grimm said.

The shuttle separates itself from High Evolutionary's ship and fires it's thrusters, its flies away at full speed to escape from that ship, meanwhile back inside the ship itself the Knights are tending to their master High Evolutionary still suffering from mental damage by Wanda's power, Sir Ram looks out the window to see the shuttle they've captured has escaped and flying back towards Earth.

"Tyger, they're getting away!" Sir Ram pointed out.

"Like hell they are, fire all cannons!" Lord Tyger gave out the order.

All of a sudden, the ship's cannons are started to fire lasers upon the escaping shuttle, Spider-Man inside piloting the craft saw one of the laser fire flying past them in space, he took evasive action trying his best not to get hit by those lasers, the ship kept on firing until one of the laser managed to hit the shuttle and blasted the tail off, Spider-Man yells out "We've been hit!", the shuttle is losing control and descends down towards the planet at high speed, the knights back at the ship sees that they've managed to hit the escaping shuttle as it's falling towards the atmosphere.

"We got him, shall we finish them off?" Sir Ram said.

"No, let them fall to their deaths, they won't survive the crash. Right now, prepare this ship to jump towards the other side of this system." Lord Tyger said.

"And what of Sir Hippo?" Lady Ursula said.

"We have to assume he's lost to us, right now we must return back to our world for our master's sake. Sir Ram, set course for Counter-Earth." Lord Tyger said.

The High Evolutionary's ship is moving away from Earth's orbit and made a jump towards the other side of the solar system, heading back to their world, Counter-Earth. Meanwhile back above the Earth, the shuttle is coming down too fast and burning up upon reentry as it finally enters Earth's atmosphere, Spider-Man is having trouble maintaining control of the shuttle.

"We've entered the atmosphere!" Spider-Man said.

"We're coming down too fast, you have to level up!" Ben Grimm said.

"I can't, that laser blast has damaged the instruments, I have no control over anything!" Spider-Man said.

(Helicarrier)

Back at the Helicarrier, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Phil Coulson are watching news reports of a world wide pandemic as certain people exposed to the strange mist have encased themselves in strange cocoons, whatever the mist has done is changing them, into what exactly they still don't know, but they have a feeling they'll soon find out, the whole world will. But one of the monitors has picked up on the shuttle's beacon coming down the atmosphere at high speed heading towards New York.

"Director Fury, the shuttle has entered the atmosphere, it's heading towards the greater metropolitan area at full speed!"

"Patch me through to the shuttle immediately!" Nick Fury orders.

The monitor is patching into the shuttle's frequency as Nick Fury took the earpiece and taps its.

"Shuttle pilot, this is Director Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D., do you read me, over?!" Nick Fury reaching out.

(Shuttle)

Spider-Man piloting the shuttle until he heard Nick Fury calling out to him. "Director Fury, this is Spider-Man on board the shuttle, over!"

"Spider-Man, glad to hear from you again, but you need to slow down, you descending too fast." Nick Fury said.

"I can't, we've been hit and losing elevated control, I can't slow down!" Spider-Man said.

"Can you try to steer towards any runway?" Nick Fury said.

"Negative, I can't steer the shuttle." Spider-Man said.

"You need to do something, you're heading too fast towards New York, if that shuttle crashes, the damage will be disastrous." Nick Fury said.

Spider-Man is thinking up of something to prevent that from happening, but the shuttle is damaged from the laser fight and they have no control over it, they can't bring it to any runway, but he then though of something that could work.

"Nick, can you move the Helicarrier into the shuttle's flight path?" Spider-Man said.

"What are thinking?" Nick Fury is confused.

"If we can't go to the runway, then bring the runway to us, it's our only chance." Spider-Man explained.

"Alright, we'll move the Helicarrier towards you for a landing, but you'll need to find a way to slow down and level the shuttle for a landing, I'll leave that part to you!" Nick Fury said.

"I understand, I'll figure something out." Spider-Man said.

"Good luck, Spider-Man." Nick Fury signing off.

(Helicarrier)

"Hill, moving the Helicarrier into the shuttle's flight path and clear the runway!" Nick Fury said.

"Yes sir." Maria Hill took the mike. "Attention everyone, clear the runway immediately, the shuttle is coming in for a landing, I repeat, clear the runway!"

Outside on the Helicarrier's runway, the crew all mobilize and move all the vehicles away on the runway for a clear landing, the Helicarrier itself is firing up it's thrusters flying towards the shuttle's flight path for a landing.

Back inside the shuttle, Spider-Man doesn't have any control as it's still falling too fast, if he can't find a way to slow down the shuttle for a landing, then it'll crash on the Helicarrier and kill them all.

"Level the shuttle!" Ben Grimm said.

"I'm trying, but I can't!" Spider-Man having trouble.

Ben Grimm sighed. "Got any bright idea?"

Spider-Man thought of something and turns to Wanda. "Wanda, do you think you can use your powers around the shuttle?"

"What? Are you serious? I've never done anything like this before, I don't know if I can!" Wanda is doubtful in her abilities.

"Yes, you can, Wanda, I believe in you, you got to believe in yourself!" Spider-Man gave confidences.

"He's right, sis, you can do this." Pietro agrees with Spider-Man.

Wanda remain quiet until she found the confidence in herself. "Alright, let's do this."

Wanda then closes her eyes and reach out her arms on both sides, all of a sudden the entire shuttle outside is being engulfed in a red aura, Wanda is focusing hard trying to manipulate the shuttle by slowing it down first, then she's leveling it up, Ben Grimm looks at the screen to see the shuttle is level up.

"It's working, we're leveling up!" Ben Grimm said.

Spider-Man points out the windshield. "There's the landing strip ahead!"

The Helicarrier managed to move itself into the shuttle's flight path as Spider-Man and Ben Grimm sees it up ahead.

"Okay, open up the landing gear, time to land this bird." Ben Grimm said.

Spider-Man pulls the switch, the landing gear is lowering down below the shuttle's belly, Wanda is maintaining the level for a landing, but they're still coming too fast as this is going to be a rough landing, back at the Helicarrier's bridge tower, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Phil Coulson sees the shuttle coming in for a landing, everyone hopes they make it down safe and sound. Back at the shuttle, Spider-Man is doing his best to pilot the craft from his end with Wanda helping, they're about to land very soon on the Helicarrier's landing strip.

"This is it... HOLD ON!" Spider-Man yells out to the crew.

The shuttle eventually touched down onto the landing strip at high speed, everyone inside braced for a hard landing, the shuttle is running down the strip too fast, the landing gear broke off and caused the shuttle to fall down sliding on it's belly, Spider-Man released the shuttle's landing chute to slow down, Wanda is doing her part to stop this shuttle before they run out of road to land, everyone on the Helicarrier are being prayerful that they make it. The shuttle kept on sliding down until it eventually stopped itself in it's track before they reached the other end, everyone inside the shuttle realized that they've finally made it down on the Helicarrier, Wanda de-spelled her powers and exhausted herself.

Spider-Man takes some deep breathes and felt relieved. "We made it."

The whole crew cheered as they've finally made it back to Earth alive, Spider-Man and Ben Grimm high five one another, Wanda and Pietro hugged each other, the twins looked at Spidey give them the thumbs up, Wanda smiled as she knows that it was meant for her since she helped out greatly and it's thanks to her everyone is alive. At the Helicarrier, everyone cheered, especially Fury, Hill, and Coulson are all proud that Spider-Man and the missing astronaut made it.

Several hours later inside the Helicarrier, at the medbay, John Jameson is resting and examined by doctors along with the rest of the shuttle crew, meanwhile Nick Fury accompanied by Maria Hill and Phil Coulson down the hall until they've reached a room where Peter Parker is dressed up in S.H.I.E.L.D. clothing examining his Spider-Man suit all torn up by his recent transformation, he broke off his focus to see Fury with Hill and Coulson.

"Where are the twins?" Peter asking about the Maximoffs.

"Don't worry, they're in another room relaxing comfortably, the silver hair boy in particular is eating up a lot, still don't understand how someone of his size could digest so much food." Phil Coulson said.

"Guessing using up so much of his speed takes a lot out of him, he's refueling his tank. But I owe so much to those two, if it wasn't for them, I would never be able to save those astronauts, they're the real heroes." Peter is thankful to the Maximoff twins.

"Glad that everyone is back home safe, but we got bigger problems. Hill, show him." Nick Fury said.

Maria Hill turns on the TV in the room and shows live news of the incident that has happened all over the world about people undergoing strange transformation, Peter suspects this was the work of the Terrigen Bombs High Evolutionary deployed on the world.

"This day has become the most unexpected and unprecedented in human history, a strange mist deployed all over the world has caused some kind of transformation to certain people exposed to this mist, most are completely unaffected as those who were affected became incased in strange cocoons, couple hours later these beings emerged out of the cocoon displaying powers, a number of these new breed of humans yet to be classified are on the rise all over the world. But the real question is how will humanity adapt to this new change, will people fear them or will we coexist? Only time will tell as the whole world has change once again on this day."

Nick Fury switched off the TV. "Any idea what has happened here to the world?"

"He's done... High Evolutionary has done it." Peter said.

"Done what exactly?" Nick Fury said.

"He's unleashed Terrigenesis, he brought back what he calls Inhumans into the world." Peter said.

"Inhumans, now we got a name to classified them as. We like to show you something, we've got footage of one of our own agents, Daisy Johnson, who was at the Triskelion at the time exposed to the mist and this happened to her, watch." Nick Fury hands Peter a tablet.

Peter holds up the tablet to see Agent Daisy Johnson exposed to the mist in the air, she felt something strange happening to her, a cocoon is forming up all around here, she's undergoing terrigenesis, Peter is finally seeing it with his own eyes.

"Now speed up two hours later and see what happens afterwards." Nick Fury said.

Peter put his finger and speeds up the footage to two hours later, the cocoon cracks open and Daisy Johnson emerged with her clothes still on but she's changed as she now displays new powers she never had before, in her case, she gain the power of vibration as she unleashed seismic waves all around her.

"Whoa! Amazing!" Peter is surprised and amazed.

"That's one way of putting it, but now there are more of these Inhumans around the world, things are about change once again." Nick Fury said.

"Is this good or bad?" Peter said.

"Depends on who and how they use their powers, the world is about to face new challenges, human beings with powers are on the rise, it's a new world now." Nick Fury said.

Peter understand what all this could mean for the world, now that there are Inhumans capable of using their powers, things are about to get harder as some might use their powers for good and others for evil, the world had already change the moment he and the Avengers came out and showed themselves, the world is only continuing to change, for better or worse.

(Outside)

Later on the Helicarrier's runway, one of the quinjets has the astronauts on board with Col. Jameson resting on the stretcher, the ramp closes behind and the craft lifts off, transporting them to New York City, meanwhile at another quinjet Wanda and Pietro are on board waiting for Spider-Man to come. Come out on the runway, Spider-Man wearing his now fully fixed suit is accompanied by Phil Coulson.

"Thanks for helping me fix the suit, Coulson. This is where we part ways." Spider-Man is about to walk away.

"Spider-Man, wait! There's something I need to talk to you about, it'll only take a moment, it's important." Phil Coulson wants to speak with Spider-Man.

Spider-Man stayed for a moment to hear Coulson out. "What is it?"

"There's something that got me and Fury concerned, something we didn't get a chance to tell you, it's about your old foe Rhino." Phil Coulson said.

"What about him?" Spider-Man said.

"Sometime after S.H.I.E.L.D. took him into custody, the quinjet transporting him got hijacked, he never made it to the Raft." Phil Coulson said.

"Rhino is loose!" Spider-Man is stunned.

"Unfortunately yes, I thought you should know, be careful, I have a feeling that Rhino's extraction is part of something bigger, keep your eyes open." Phil Coulson said.

"I will, thank you for this information." Spider-Man said.

Spider-Man part ways from Coulson and heading towards the quinjet to join the Maximoff twins, he's worried about this news that Rhino has been freed, he has some suspicion that one of his old enemies is behind it, if what Coulson said is true, then something big is about to happen soon in the near future.

The time is 3:12 PM in New York City at Time Square, the whole city is still trying to get on with their lives despite the recent events that happened here, Spider-Man is with Pietro and Wanda up on a rooftop as the twins are looking down at all of Time Square, this is actually the first time they've been in a city this big, even their first time being in America.

"So what's next for the Wonder Twins? Going back to Europe?" Spider-Man said.

"Actually, we're thinking about sticking around here for a while, it's not everyday we come to America." Pietro said.

"By the way, thanks for everything, those astronauts made it back home because of you, you even saved my life." Spider-Man said.

"It was no problem, it's been a honor fighting beside one of Earth's Mightiest Heroes." Pietro said.

"Me too, for years, I've been hiding myself from the world, afraid what people would think of me and my gifts, I was afraid that my powers would be used for evil, but since I met you, you inspired me, you showed me that I could great things with my powers, and that's exactly what I've done, I've used them to do good and help people, just like you." Wanda smiled.

"I have to admit, your powers are amazing, Wanda, but could stand to have some refinement." Spider-Man pulls out a card and hands it to Wanda. "Here, I know someone here who's an expert in magic, maybe he can help you improve on your skills."

Wanda took the card and it says "DOCTOR STRANGE, 177A BLEECKER STREET, NEW YORK CITY"

"Thanks, I'll think about it." Wanda appreciates Spider-Man's help.

"And thanks for putting the mask back on my head, you both had the chance to see my face, but you didn't." Spider-Man said.

"We were curious, but we also respect your right to privacy. Maybe one day when you trust us enough, you'll show us the face underneath the mask." Wanda said.

"You've earned my trust." Spider-Man put his hand on his mask.

Spider-Man pulls it up off his head and shows the twins the face underneath it, the twins are surprised to see that Spider-Man is a teenager of same age as them, Wanda couldn't help but find him very cute.

"Let me introduce myself again, hi, my name is Peter Parker." Peter introduced himself.

Wanda blushed. "Hi, Peter, I'm Wanda."

"I'm Pietro, so does this make us friends?" Pietro said.

"Yeah, this makes us friends." Peter smiled.

Peter formed a friendship with both Pietro and Wanda, he saw they have great potential in becoming heroes.

"You know, you two would make great heroes." Peter said.

"Are you serious?" Pietro said.

"Very, but if you're going to be heroes, then you'll need new codenames to match yourselves, got any idea?" Peter said.

"I've always been fond of the name... Quicksilver." Pietro calls himself Quicksilver.

"Quicksilver, that quite catchy. What about you Wanda?" Peter said.

"Honestly I still don't know what to call myself." Wanda is thinking.

"Well... with your outfit and your powers, you seemed to have an affinity for the color red." Peter said.

"It's scarlet red to be precise, and many people called me a witch, and that's exactly what I am, the Scarlet Witch." Wanda calls herself Scarlet Witch.

"Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, I like it." Peter said.

"I guess this is where we part ways, I hope that we team up again in the future." Pietro said.

Pietro raised his fist waiting for Peter to bump his, Peter raised his fist and bumps. Wanda walks up and hugs Peter.

"Goodbye Peter." Wanda then kissed Peter on the cheek.

Wanda broke off from Peter who is blushing from that kiss she gave him, Wanda is blushing too as she can't help but have a crush on Peter.

"Till next time." Wanda said.

"Till next time. Peter said.

Pietro picks up his sister and speeds away from the rooftop, leaving Peter all alone on a rooftop, Peter felt happy that he meet two more heroes like him, he has a feeling that he'll see them again in the near future, with their great potential, they could become great additions to the Avengers.

At the same time in Kenya, Africa at the wildlife safari where an escape pod has crashed recently, Hippo is getting out to see that he's on Earth surrounded by Zebras and Giraffes, the last thing he remembers is fighting on board the High Evolutionary's ship against the Maximoff twins until he got bested and sent out into the escape pod he was just in, now he's left behind stranded on Earth unable to return home to Counter-Earth. Coming down the road, a safari tour group spotted what appears to be a Hippopotamus standing on two legs with hands.

Hippo then wave his hand up. "Uh... Hi!"

The whole group screamed out as this hippo guy can talk.

Back in New York, it's 9:34 PM nighttime at a hospital, John Jameson is awake laying on the bed looking out the window, coming into the room is his father J Jonah Jameson who is relieved to see his son again back home safe and sound, he rushed to his son's side and hugs him tightly.

"John, my boy, I'm so glad you're alright." Jameson hugging John.

John hugged his father. "I'm okay, dad, I'm here."

Jameson broke off the hug. "Never imagine that this would happen again like before."

"Neither did I, none of us saw this coming. But it's thanks to Spider-Man and his friends that I made it back home with the others."

"Spider-Man?" Jameson is confused.

"Yes dad, Spider-Man was there when he came to my rescue, he risked himself to save all of us, we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him and his friends." John told of Spider-Man's heroic deed.

Jameson is surprised to hear that Spider-Man is responsible for rescuing his son from danger, even though he's still distrustful of the Wall-Crawler, a part of him is grateful that he brought John back to him.

"What is it, Dad?" John said.

"Nothing son, everything is fine... get some rest, I promise to comeback tomorrow, I'm glad that you're home, son." Jameson said.

"It's great to be home, dad." John said.

Jameson waves goodbye to his son as he walks out of the room, John gets off the bed and walks up to the window to look up at the night sky where there's a partially full moon coming, even though he's back home, he felt different, like something inside him has changed, he was held captive and experimented on by the High Evolutionary, he has no idea how the experiment changed him. What did High Evolutionary do to him?
