Volume III: Ends of the Earth Part II
This will be the twenty-fourth chapter of Volume III and the second part of the three part story, Mary Jane and May have been captured and taken hostage by Doctor Octopus and his Sinister Sixteen as he plans to use them as part of his plan for vengeance against Spider-Man he knows as Peter Parker. Spider-Man is desperate to save them as he plans to enlist the help of the Avengers in his fight against the Sinister Sixteen. Meanwhile Doctor Octopus put his endgame in motion as he unleashed his superweapon upon the entire world and threatens the world's governments into accepting his demands. He plans to make the heroes back away from any kind of retaliation by threatening the world if they intervene, however Spider-Man won't let this go as he plans to face off against him and his army alone, but Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid won't let him fight this battle alone as they'll join him to save May and Mary Jane.
It's May 16th around 8:45 PM at the airfield in Queens owned by Advanced Idea Mechanics, the aircraft is waiting on the runway for immediate take off, Kraven and Chameleon are standing next to the van waiting for their teammates to come by, they see cargo truck coming in, it eventually stopped as the back opens up where Rhino, Sandman, Hydro-Man, Scorpion, Electro, and Vulture got out and finally rendezvous with Kraven and Chameleon after their secret mission was a success.
"I take it your mission was a success?" Vulture said.
Chameleon smiled as he opens up the back of the van, inside are Mary Jane and May Parker both tranquilized and tied up, they're in the hands of the Sinister Sixteen, alive and ready to be taken straight to Doctor Octopus.
"Excellent, time to depart, Dr. Octavius is waiting for us. Everyone on board!" Vulture said.
Rhino steps up and picked up both May and Mary Jane, he carried them over his shoulders as he follows his teammates to boards the aircraft with their valuable hostages, everyone are on board as the plane is taking off the runaway and heading back to Barbuda where Doctor Octopus is waiting for them to come to make his next move against Spider-Man. Both May and Mary Jane are seated down strapped to their seats unconscious, not knowing the fate that awaits them once they reach A.I.M. island.
Later around 9:04 PM at the Spider-Cave, Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid are there waiting for Spider-Man to come back, Gwen takes off her mask as did Miles who then checked to see the scratch Scorpion made by his tail stinger, Ganke Lee is at the supercomputer awaiting for Spider-Man's return to give him the bad news, coming into the cave is the hero himself, Peter takes off his mask as he's disappointed in himself for failing to reach his home in time, he lost May and Mary Jane to the villains, Gwen and Miles came to his side to support him in this time of need, Gwen hugs Peter for comfort.
"How bad is it, Pete?" Gwen said.
"It's worse, Gwen, they took them, they got Aunt May and MJ, I've failed them." Peter is down on himself.
"I don't understand, why did they go through this trouble to kidnap them? Doesn't make sense." Miles is confused by this logic.
"Actually, it does... there's something you all need to see." Ganke then turns to the supercomputer.
Ganke Lee accesses the data they've got from Doc Ock's hideout and showed them the photos of Peter, Gwen, and Miles along with their friends and family, all three heroes became shocked by this discovery.
"Doc Ock, he's been watching us, then that means that..." Gwen is stunned.
"He knows who we all are. He must've figured out that Peter Parker and Spider-Man are one and the same, he connected the dots from me to you both. This is all my fault." Peter said.
"Peter, that's not true." Gwen said.
"Yes it is, Gwen, I was too careless, I've completely underestimated Doc Ock, I took my eyes off of him for too long, by the time I'd figured what he was planning, I was too late. Now both Aunt May and Mary Jane are in his hands." Peter said.
"Peter, none of us saw this coming, we're used to hiding out identities for so long, we didn't consider the possibility one of our enemies might uncover the truth at some point." Gwen said.
"Yeah... speaking of which, how's your folks, Miles?" Peter said.
"Oh yeah, I forgot, I should call them and check to be sure." Miles pulls out a phone and dials his parents, he waits to hear them back. "Hey mom!"
"Hi Hijo, what's going on?" Rio Morales said.
"I was just calling to check up on you. Where are you?" Miles said.
"I'm here in the city with your father dining at this fancy Chinese restaurant May recommended, I have him on speaker." Rio Morales said.
"Hey son." Jefferson Davis said.
"Hi dad, how are you guys? I heard about the attack in Time Square, wanted to make sure you're both alright." Miles said.
"It's my day and we're far away from Time Square, we're all good, thanks for your concern, son." Jefferson Davis said.
"Sure thing, sorry to bother your date time, take care." Miles said.
"Will do." Jefferson Davis said.
"Bye Hijo." Rio Morales said.
"Bye mom, bye dad." Miles hangs up and turns to his friends. "They're both fine, looks like they haven't came after them."
"You sure?" Peter said.
"Hey, my uncle maybe a criminal, but even he wouldn't go against his family." Miles said.
"Unless he still doesn't know that you're Kid Arachnid." Gwen said.
"Doc Ock probably hasn't told him the truth, he must've compartmentalize that important piece of information, if he knew that his nephew is a hero, he wouldn't be part of this." Peter said.
"He might've not told his team who we all are, kept it to himself." Gwen said.
"So even Doc Ock doesn't trust his own people, go figure." Miles said.
"Whether he told them or not, the fact remains he knows who we all are. We gotta figure out where he took them, Ganke, did you get anything else from the drive besides this revelation?" Peter said.
"As a matter a fact I did, while I was waiting for you guys to comeback, I found something related to Advanced Idea Mechanics." Ganke Lee said.
"Advanced Idea Mechanics? Isn't that the same company that tried to buy Stark Industries months ago." Miles said.
"The same, but the company itself is secretly a terrorist organization, their leader Monica Rappaccini came close to purchasing Stark Industries, but I was the one who convinced Tony to cancel the sale, when that didn't work they tried to kill him and failed, then they kidnapped Pepper and brought her to their headquarters, but its thanks to me and Stark we were able to rescue her in time." Peter explained about A.I.M.
"My god... how does A.I.M. fit into all this?" Gwen said.
"I don't know, but A.I.M. must have something Doc Ock wanted for his master plan and we still don't know what it is. Whatever he has cooking, my aunt and MJ are in the middle of it, they're in his hands now. Ganke, can you do a satellite scan of any airfields, specifically the ones controlled by A.I.M.?" Peter said.
"I got it." Ganke Lee types the keyboard.
Ganke is accessing satellites scanning the eastern seaboard towards the five boroughs, he focuses on Queens towards the airfields, the one controlled by A.I.M. he access the grid archive for anything recent in the time window after Aunt May and Mary Jane were kidnapped and he found something interesting.
"I got something, about 20 minutes ago, there was an activity at the airfield in Queens, I'm pulling up satellite footages from that time." Ganke Lee said.
Ganke is showing the footage on the big screen, everyone got to see a plane on the runway next to a van with two people, coming into the airfield is a cargo truck, sometime after it stop, multiple people came out the back and joined up with the other two opening up the back of the van, the big guy picked up two people and carried them over his shoulders, all boarded the plane.
"It's them, I'm sure of it. Can you track the plane?" Peter said.
Ganke is switching to monitoring aircrafts flying over the country, he found the plane used to transport the Sinister Six with the hostages, the plane is heading down south over the ocean.
"I found it, the plane is heading south towards the Caribbean Sea." Ganke Lee said.
Peter is stunned. "The Caribbean?"
"What is it, Pete? Does it mean anything?" Gwen said.
"I know where they're going, A.I.M. owns an island in the Caribbean, that's where their headquarters is based at." Peter said.
"You've been there before?" Ganke Lee said.
"It's where Pepper was taken after she was kidnapped, if A.I.M. is involved with Doc Ock, then that's where they're taking them." Peter said.
"Could be just a coincidence." Miles said.
"It's not, I know in my gut that I'm right." Peter said.
Gwen sighed. "Okay Pete... if we're going to rescue them, then we need some help, Doc Ock is probably protected by an army along with his team of supervillains, even the three of us won't be enough to take them on."
"This might be the moment you call in your amazing friends." Miles said.
"You're both right... it's time to bring in the Avengers." Peter said.
It's May 17th, time is 3:34 AM midnight at Barbuda, at A.I.M. headquarters, Doctor Octopus is with Prowler and Beetle looking at the screen of live footages of his satellite technology being loaded into a rocket at the launch site here on the island, very soon they'll be deployed into space, coming into the room is Vulture along with the rest of the Sinister Sixteen bringing in their most valuable hostages, May and Mary Jane got tossed down on the floor as they looked up to see Doctor Octopus in an exo-suit, he's more different than the man he used to be, Prowler is confused by the presence of an old woman and teenage girl.
"What the? What is this?" Prowler said.
"These my friend are the key to Spider-Man's downfall." Doctor Octopus turns to the hostages. "My apologies, Mrs. Parker, Ms. Watson, I hope they didn't hurt you too much."
Mary Jane recognized that voice. "Doctor Octopus?"
"So you do know who I am, I'm touched." Doctor Octopus said.
"What happened to you?" Mary Jane is confused.
"The accident that created me finally took it's toll on my body, the device that links me to my arms now fused to my spine is also killing me, only got a few months left to live." Doctor Octopus explain his condition.
"I'm sorry to hear that, Mr. Octavius, but what does all this have to do with us?" May said.
"Very well, straight to the point, with my condition, my time on Earth is very limited, before I leave here, I want to leave behind my legacy for the world, for months I've been developing new technology that can change the fate of the world, this planet's climate has been harmed by years of careless pollution, while everyone is still waging wars with one another, nobody is doing anything to save the planet, and that's where I come in, with this technology I can save this world from itself.." Doctor Octopus explains his endgame.
"That's your legacy? Saving the world from global warming?" Mary Jane is confused.
"Or burning it, my satellite technology doesn't just eliminate global warming, but can also worsen it, that's my legacy, I'm going to burn this whole world down and everyone in it, unless they agree to my demands." Doctor Octavius said.
"What kind of demands?" May said.
"Amnesty for my friends here for their past crimes, I want the world to build an academy in my honor, and I wanted history to remember the day that I, Dr. Otto Octavius, saved the world." Doctor Octopus explains his demands.
"Why do you need us for? How do we fit into your master plan?" Mary Jane said.
"You two are vital to Spider-Man's defeat, I know everything about him, how he operates and how much his compassion for life is, you two mean everything to him." Doctor Octopus said.
May is stunned. "You know? Don't you?"
"I know everything, who he is underneath the mask." Doctor Octopus said.
"You're using us as bait to get to him." Mary Jane figured it out.
"Precisely, he'll come for you both, once he does, that's when I'll get to kill him. Kraven, Chameleon, take them both to the other room and make sure they stay there, comfortably." Doctor Octopus said.
Kraven and Chameleon picked May and Mary Jane up from the floor and leads them away from the room while Prowler is looking at them, feeling sorry for them. Doctor Octopus then turns to the screen to see that the rocket is loaded with the satellite, on the other screens of A.I.M. subsidiaries all over the world, all the rockets are awaiting for the go ahead to launch them into space. After the hostages were locked into the other room, Kraven and Chameleon came back and joined up with the rest of the Sinister Sixteen standing before their leader as he's about to make his move on the world.
"Gentlemen, this is it, the moment we all been waiting for, we're about to make history... and it starts now." Doctor Octopus said.
Doctor Octopus uses his claws to press the button to launch the rockets, from the island's launch site, the rocket fires its thrusters and launched up into space, on the other screens, the other launch sites A.I.M. controls all launched the rockets into space, the Sinister Sixteen looks out the window along with Doctor Octopus watching the rocket flying high up reaching the atmospheres.
(Space)
The rockets A.I.M. launched from Earth finally made it into space. In orbit, each of the rockets disassembled and breaks apart as the satellites are finally orbiting around the Earth, each of them contains Doc Ock's doomsday weapon, the Octavian Lens. All the satellites are in position in specific areas ready to be unleashed, soon Doctor Octopus will make his statement to the whole world.
Later around 6;54 AM in the morning in New York, meanwhile at the Spider-Cave, Ghost-Spider finished talking on the phone while Spider-Man is making preparations to call in the Avengers, Miles and Ganke had already left home for Brooklyn while Peter and Gwen stayed behind working overtime to plan a rescue mission, Spidey is yawning as he hasn't had any sleep lately, he drinks some coffee trying to stay awake as long as possible and focused , Ghost-Spider came by after she finished her call.
"How's Anna Watson?" Spider-Man said.
"She's away in Montoursville, Pennsylvania visiting some relatives, she doesn't know anything about Mary Jane being kidnapped, yet." Ghost-Spider said.
"Okay, that's good, one less thing to worry about." Spider-Man said.
"But how long can we keep this covered up? Eventually she might decide to call Mary Jane and nobody will be answered or that she doesn't hear back from her, she's going to catch on that something is wrong, Pete." Ghost-Spider said.
"That's why we must rescue MJ and Aunt May in time before it's too late, it's up to us to save them." Spider-Man said.
"Did you finally reach out?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Yeah, I'm about to contact them, they're awaiting our call, let's do this." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider stood before the supercomputer and access the hologram to communicate with the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D., showing up in holographic forms before them in the room are Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, Bruce Banner, and Nick Fury.
"Spider-Man, we've received your message." Captain America said.
"Heard about what happened, I'm sorry kid." Iron Man said.
"That's why I need your help, me and Ghost-Spider are proposing a rescue mission, Doctor Octopus has both Aunt May and Mary Jane held hostage, we believe they've been taken to Barbuda." Spider-Man said.
"A.I.M.? Never thought I'd hear from them again, it wasn't bad enough they kidnapped Pepper, they had to take your aunt and your red haired best friend." Iron Man said.
"Tony told me the whole story about A.I.M., can't believe Monica is capable of such things." Bruce is shocked.
"Monica? You know her?" Black Widow said.
"Yeah... we... have a history." Bruce is nervous.
"What kind of history?" Iron Man is interested.
"Not important, Tony, what is is where does A.I.M. fit into all this?" Bruce said.
"I don't know, but clearly Doc Ock needs A.I.M. for something, something that fits into his master plan." Spider-Man said.
"What does he want exactly?" Captain America said.
"I think he's planning something against the whole world and I bet A.I.M. plays a huge role in that." Spider-Man said.
"So this is like Avengers-level huge, which is why you need us, right?" Iron Man said.
"Exactly, if I'm correct, then Doc Ock is based at the A.I.M. headquarters surrounded by an army of minions, not to mention his team of supervillains, I can't take them on by myself, I need your help, I need the Avengers." Spider-Man said.
"There's not that many of us, Thor has been away in Asgard for months, there's no way to reach him, and T'Challa is in Wakanda fulfilling his duties as King, so we'll be going with a small team including you and Ghost-Spider." Captain America said.
"It'll have to be enough, I know this is a big ask, but..." Spider-Man said.
"Say no more, kid, I'm in, owed you one for saving Pepper." Iron Man said.
"I'm in too, can't let a fellow fight this battle alone." Captain America said.
"Thank you." Spider-Man said.
"Let's hope that we're not too late and Doc Ock initiated his master plan." Iron Man said.
The screen on the supercomputer suddenly shuts off, making Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider worried, the other heroes are still in holographic form.
"What just happened?" Spider-Man said.
"I don't know, same thing is happening at my end, screens have suddenly turned black." Iron Man said.
All of a sudden the screens turned back on, Doctor Octopus is showing himself on the big screen, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider gazed upon a new Doctor Octopus.
"Greetings people of the world..." Doctor Octopus said.
"It's him." Spider-Man said.
"We know, he's on every channel, every broadcast, he's everywhere." Nick Fury said.
(A.I.M. Island)
Doctor Octopus is standing before the camera's as his Sinister Sixteen all stood by along with the former Scientist Supreme Monica Rappaccini and the council as they all watch their leader making a statement to the whole world and unleash his new super weapon, he's hacked every broadcast all over the world, from America, to Europe, to Asia, and to South America, he stands before the controls that operates the Octavian Lens already in orbit.
"As some of you may not have heard of me, my name is Dr. Otto Octavius, a well respected scientist dedicated to helping the rest of humanity through science, that is until I suffer an unfortunate accident because of Spider-Man, now I've became what you all claimed me as, a supervillain, that is... completely unacceptable. Rather than seeing me as the bad guy, I would've still given so much to the world, but luck for you all, I still have much to give..." Doctor Octopus makes a statement.
(Vienna)
At the UN headquarters in Vienna, Austria, the world leaders are gathered around as they listened to Doctor Octopus making his statement to the whole world, they're surprised that he's become so bold to threaten the entire world and everyone in it.
"I speak to the leaders of the world, that's right I'm speaking to you now as we speak, everyone can hear this, I possess great technology that can change the world for better or worse, I have some demands to make and you will deliver it." Doctor Octopus said.
One of the world leaders speaks up. "With all due respect, Dr. Octavius, it is the policy of the United Nations to never negotiate with terrorists."
"Oh I think you'll make an except in this case, allow me to show you what I've built." Doctor Octopus said.
The screens are showing the latest of satellites created by Doctor Octavius already in orbit above the Earth called the Octavian Lens.
"What you're all seeing is cutting edge satellite technology currently orbit the Earth, they're called the Octavian Lens and it has the capability to control the fate of the world through climate change. Yes, that's right, it can control global warming that the world has been enduring for the past years, all the brilliant minds in the world couldn't find a way to stop it, but I have. However, this technology can also increase global warming and threaten all life on Earth, as I will demonstrate, watch the skies carefully, you're all in for a rude awakening." Doctor Octopus said.
(Space)
The Octavian Lens in orbit are finally being activated for the first time, they're all perfectly in position as they link up energy beams to one another, forming what appears to be a barrier all around the planet, the barriers are glowing red as they're unleashing harmful rays upon the entire planet.
(Vienna)
The whole sky in Vienna is glowing red as the temperature is rising up, everyone in the city and beyond it are feeling the heat, some are starting to fall down suffering from heatstrokes, the world leader at the UN looks out the window to see that the entire sky is red and it's getting too hot, they're starting to feel the heat from the inside despite having air conditioning, they're all wondering how he's doing it.
(Wakanda)
At the city of Birnin Zana, from the palace, King T'Challa rushed out towards the balcony to see the sky is red and it's getting hotter, he looks down to see his people suffering from heatstrokes. Far in the outskirts of the city, Bucky Barnes who took refuge here for months, came out of the hut to see the temperature is getting too hot, something is going out in the world.
(California)
At the Stark Mansion, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan all step out to see the skies are red and it's too hot, more hotter than what California is often. Iron Man took a peek outside the window to see the skies are red, he realized that Doctor Octopus is behind all this.
"How the hell is he doing this?" Iron Man is stunned.
(New York)
Everyone in Manhattan are suffering from heatstroke and suddenly collapsed, Jameson is at the Daily Bugle is looking out the window to see all of New York is feeling the heat. At Queens, Flash came out of his home along with his father, mother, and sister to see some people outside collapsing from the heat, they went to help them out. On Roosevelt Island, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider rushed outside to see the whole sky is red and it's very hot outside. In Brooklyn at the Academy, Miles and Ganke are awake from their dorm room to see from their window that everyone outside is collapsing from heatstroke, they figured that this was all Doctor Octopus.
"Miles?" Ganke Lee is stunned.
"It's him, this is all him." Miles said.
(A.I.M. Island)
Doctor Octopus is looking at multiple screens on all over the world, multiple countries, islands, and continents are all suffering the same thing as his technology has brought heat to the whole world, Doctor Octopus has given everyone a sample of what his technology is capable of, he has the entire world within his grip.
"Now that you all had a taste on how hot it is, let's all open up a window, shall we?" Doctor Octopus said.
Doctor Octopus uses his claws to operate the controls to the Octavian Lens, the satellites are currently programmed to unleash rays of heat upon the entire planet, Doc Ock then switched to their second function.
(Space)
All the Octavian Lens satellites are still producing heat rays to the entire planet, that is until they all received new orders, they've turned off the heat and switched to their secondary function, they're now programmed to unleashed emitters to eliminate any harmful rays trapped in Earth's climate responsible for global warming, the emitters are dong it's work on the rays and now the Earth is cooling down.
(Vienna)
Back at the UN headquarters, the world leaders looked out to see the skies are back to regular blue and temperatures are cooling down back to normal, the people outside helping those suffering from heatstrokes looked up as the skies are clearing up and temperatures are normal, it was hot outside and now it's suddenly cooled down. The world leaders are stunned and surprised by what Doctor Octopus just accomplished, he did the impossible, he successfully controls global warming, Doctor Octopus shows himself on the screen before the world leaders.
"How are you doing this? It's not possible!"
"On the contrary, it's very much possible, as the whole world just witnessed, my technology doesn't just threaten the world, it can also save it. My Octavian Lens doesn't just increase the rays on global climate, it can also eliminate it, with this technology, it can repair the ozone and save the world from climate change. Are you all ready to turn you backs on an opportunity to save the planet?" Doctor Octopus said.
The world leaders still doesn't want to give into terrorism, but after witnessing what Doc Ock is capable of with this technology in his hands, he can turn up the heat to dangerous levels and kill off all life on the planet in a single stroke, they're more worried what might happen if they refuse to give into his demand, but they also see an opportunity to save the world from global warming, this technology can also save lives, all kinds of lives.
"What is it you want from us?"
"These are my demands, first I want amnesties for me and my associates for past crimes, all their criminal records expunged, full immunity, a clean slate." Doctor Octopus said.
"What's the other?"
"Second, I want the world to build a science academy dedicated in my name, me, Dr. Otto Octavius, the man who saves the world from global warming, for all of history to remember. Third, I want all heroes, especially the Avengers to stay away from A.I.M. island and the satellites, if any of them tries to retaliate or make moves against me, then the whole world will pay the consequences for their defiance, it will burn, that is my vow. I'll give you all 48 hours to decide, don't take too long, my satellites are on a timer, if I don't get an answer by then, then they'll unleash the Ends of the Earth, decide soon." Doctor Octopus finished giving his demands.
All the world leaders are panicking as the world is in serious danger, Doctor Octopus is threatening to burn all of it if his demands aren't met, each of them cares more for the lives of their respective countries and don't want to do anything to endanger their lives.
(Spider-Cave)
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider came back inside after witnessing Doc Ock's superweapon in action, he successfully manipulated global warming and now threatens the whole world into giving into his demands, this is much bigger than they imagined. Both heroes came back to see the holo transmission is still on as everyone is stunned by what Doctor Octopus has accomplished.
"Is this real?" Captain America said.
"I'm afraid so, Cap, recent satellite readings on the global are 100% accurate, Dr. Octavius has actually done it, he's controlling global warming through his technology." Bruce confirmed it.
"So this is his endgame, willing to do anything to save the world, even if it means threatening to end it." Black Widow said.
Iron Man scoffed with sarcasm. "And here I thought I have a massive ego? As if this world hasn't had enough problem with space based weaponry, now history is repeating itself again."
Nick Fury's hologram is acting quiet as he's receiving a new message from someone, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are wondering what it is, Nick Fury then finished getting the message, whatever it is it doesn't look good.
Nick Fury sighed. "That was the World Security Council, as of this moment, everyone, including S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Avengers are not to make any moves against Dr. Octavius and A.I.M. effective immediately."
"You can't be serious!" Spider-Man said.
"Those orders came from high up, from the UN and the President of the United States themselves, so you're all ordered to stand down, understood?" Nick Fury said.
"So what? You're just going to sit back and let Doc Ock get away with everything he's done? Let him terrorize the world? What about May and MJ? They're still in his hands!" Spider-Man speaks up.
"With all due respect, Parker, the lives of two people don't out weigh the lives of the entire world, our hands are tied." Nick Fury said.
"Is that the same thing you told yourself when you had my parents declared traitors to their country? That they're expendable?!" Spider-Man said.
"I never said that, but we have to look at the bigger picture for the greater good, if we take action against him, he'll burn the whole world down, it's that simple!" Nick Fury said.
"What makes you think that a man like him will keep his word? What if he decides to burn the world down out of spite and we did nothing to stop him? Is that a risk you're all willing to take?" Spider-Man said.
"What if we do take action and he decides to kill us all because of us? We can't risk the fate of the entire world on the hunch you were wrong. I'm sorry Spider-Man, but there nothing else we can do." Nick Fury said.
"He's right, kid." Iron Man agrees with Fury.
"You too, Tony?" Spider-Man said.
"Last year we were barely lucky to stop Ultron from using my weapons against the world, now this is more different than ever before, he already holds the fate of the entire world in his hands, he can burn down everything with a single stroke." Iron Man said.
Spider-Man turns to Captain America. "And what about you, Cap? Do you agree with them?"
"No, I would do anything to stop men like Doctor Octopus from enslaving the world through terror... but I also don't want to risk the lives of the entire world on a gamble we might fail... I'm sorry son." Captain America said.
Spider-Man takes a deep breath and nods. "I understand... sorry I call you all for nothing."
"I'm sorry too, kid." Iron Man said.
"All we can do is pray for your aunt and Mary Jane, hope a miracle for them." Captain America said.
"Thanks... goodbye." Spider-Man finished talking.
Nick Fury, Captain America, Iron Man, and Bruce Banner all switched off, Black Widow looks upon Spider-Man looking all hopeless for the fate of his loved ones, she then switched out, Spider-Man is left feeling down that nobody is coming to help him, Ghost-Spider stays by his side being there for him. Spider-Man is on his own to stop Doc Ock and save his love ones, but he's completely outnumbered and outgunned for this, he looks to the fabrication machine and thought of something that could give him an edge.
Around 7:03 AM back at A.I.M. headquarters, Doctor Octopus just finished making his statement to the whole world, the whole Sinister Sixteen is impressed by what their leader just accomplish, holding the entire world hostage by committing global terrorism through his new satellite technology and forcing the heroes to back away or else, but some of them are still eager at a chance for revenge against Spider-Man just as Doctor Octopus had promised.
"I'm impressed, you have the whole world within your fingertips." Vulture said.
"And what about your promise for revenge? Do you really think Spider-Man will just sit back and do nothing?" Beetle said.
"No, I don't expect him to, his savior complex runs deeper than anyone I ever met, he's not going to let this go, especially when we have the people he cares for most in our possession. But he knows that he's outnumbered, he'll most likely turn to his allies, the Avengers to face us, thanks to my technology, I've now forced the UN's hand and got them to make the heroes stand down, but I know Spider-Man won't, if he is to come save his loved ones, he'll have to come alone, once he does, that's when we'll kill him, that's my endgame too, to see my mortal enemy die before I do." Doctor Octopus said.
Most of the Sinister Sixteen are smiling at this sinister plan for revenge on Spider-Man by luring him into a trap and killing him at his most vulnerable, Doctor Octopus planned everything down to it's detail, knows the right kind of bait to draw Spider-Man out and forcing the Avengers to stay away, making Spider-Man come alone without backup.
Meanwhile walking down the hallway is Prowler carrying a tray of food as he came to the room where the hostages are kept, May and Mary Jane are resting on the couch sleeping until they suddenly woke up and Prowler came into the room with a tray of food.
"Morning, I got you some breakfast." Prowler said.
"Thanks." May felt somewhat grateful.
"Listen, for what it's worth, I'm sorry for this situation you're all in. You all probably haven't heard of me." Prowler said.
"Actually, we know exactly who you are, you're Aaron Davis, Miles's uncle." May said.
"You know Miles?" Prowler is surprised.
"We met him through his mother Rio who volunteers at the shelter, he often talks about his family, including you." May said.
Prowler takes off the helmet and shows his face as Aaron Davis.
"How is Miles?" Aaron is curious.
"He seems to be doing alright, he's getting through it despite knowing what you've done." Mary Jane said.
"He often talks about you, how you got out of prison and wanted to change for the better, he believed in you and you went back to your old criminal ways, he was devastated." May explained about what Miles has been through because of him.
"I never wanted to go back to being a criminal, when I got out, I wanted to change myself for him, wanted him to be proud of me, and I did, I got an honest job and made money the right way. Everything was going perfect until one day, Fisk called me." Aaron said.
"Fisk? As in Wilson Fisk?" Mary Jane is stunned.
"I see you've heard of him." Aaron said.
"We all do, my nephew is the one who spoke out against him, Fisk tried to kill him and me, he even kidnapped Mary Jane along with Gwen Stacy to get back at Peter, that man caused us so much pain." May said.
"I'm sorry for what you had to go through, that man didn't just ruin your lives, he even ruined mines, I wanted to be free of him, but he called me and told me that I still owed him a debt, I refused at first, that's when he threaten my family, including Miles if I refused to do as he said." Aaron explained his reasons.
"Yeah, that sounds exactly like what Fisk would've done, that man is a monster." Mary Jane speaks from experience.
"So you do understand, that's why I had to become the Prowler, I didn't have a choice." Aaron said.
"I'm sorry for what you had to go through, but there's always a choice, Mr. Davis." May said.
"Not to me there is." Aaron said.
"Yes, there is, you're just not letting it be. You think what you're doing is right? You think you're keeping Miles safe by committing more crimes? Is that how you want him to remember you by? As a criminal? Aaron... it's not too late to do the right thing... please... for Miles." May tries reasoning with Aaron.
Aaron then puts back his helmet a becomes the Prowler as he looks at them. "For what it's worth, I am truly sorry."
Prowler walks away from the room feeling bad for them, even feeling more guilt for being part of this, kidnapping innocent people and holding them hostage to be used against Spider-Man, he knows deep down that he disappointed his family, especially his nephew Miles who looked up to him, believed in him, May could tell that Aaron is carrying so much conflict within himself, she carries no hate for him, just pity.
Around 8:30 AM at Brooklyn Visions Academy, school has been cancelled for the entire day as well as other school around the world due to the terror threat Doctor Octopus made to everyone, everyone is on edge knowing that their lives could end at any moment, at the dorm room, Anya Corazon is watching recent news concerning the fate of the world and the Sinister Sixteen's attack at Time Square where the three heroes engaged in combat against them, including the one scene where Scorpion made a cut on Kid Arachnid's mask.
"The statement made against Dr. Otto Octavius against the world is a reality, the United Nations are on edge after the supervillain demonstrated a sample of what his technology can do, Dr. Octavius claims that his technology is capable of saving the planet from serious climate changes it's been struggling with for over 50 years, it's too early to tell, but some sources say that the world leaders are considering giving into Dr. Octavius's demands. The man has been gone by the codename Doctor Octopus, a former scientist of Oscorp specializing in fusion energy suffered an unfortunate accident as a result of his experiments, but was saved thanks to Spider-Man, but the accident also created him and turned him into the man he is now. Dr. Octavius is suspected to be behind the attacks on Time Square where the heroes are engaged in battle, it is still unknown what the purpose for all this chaos is..."
In another part of the school, Ganke is in the dorm room along with Miles watching the news on the laptop, Miles is holding up the mask he wore yesterday in his fight agains the Sinister Six, he saw the scratch Scorpion made with his stinger.
"Great, my mask is ruined." Miles is disappointed.
"As if global warming hasn't gotten worse recently, now Doc Ock is making it more worse." Ganke Lee said.
"I know, but apparently his technology can also help save the world as we all can see." Miles said.
"And that's a good thing? You think the U.N. is seriously considering giving into Doc Ock's demands?" Ganke Lee said.
"I certainly hope not, I don't trust Doc Ock will keep his word, you don't just let someone like him control a danger weapon, he's basically a loose nuke on a timer, eventually he'll go off and take the whole world with him." Miles said.
"You got a point, we all should be worried. What about Peter? How's he holding up knowing that the Avengers won't help out?" Ganke Lee said.
"He's staying strong as much as he can, but a bit disappointed, but he understands why. But if I know him, he's not going to stand by and let this happen. He'll go in alone if he has to, but he won't have to." Miles said.
"You're going to help him, aren't you?" Ganke Lee suspected.
"I have to, not just for MJ and May, cause my uncle is involved in this, this makes it my responsibility too." Miles said.
Ganke Lee sighed. "Okay, if you're going to see this through, then I'm in."
"Are you sure about this? It could come with risk?" Miles said.
"You guys still need your guy in the chair for tactical support, so like it or not, I'm with you." Ganke Lee said.
"Thanks... let's go." Miles said.
Miles gets up as he tucked away the torn mask underneath the bed to hide, he and Ganke left the dorm room and made their way down the hallway. They eventually passed by Anya's dorm room, she can hear Miles and Ganke's voices outside as she gets up and opens the door partially to see them leaving the school despite the fact that the world is being threaten, she's more curious than ever before about what Miles is up to, she steps out to see they're gone and turns towards their dorm room door, she suspects the answers she's looking form is in there.
Anya quietly sneaks around towards the dorm room door, she uses what appears to be a couple of paperclips as she's got some skills in picking the locks, a skill she learned from her father when it comes to searching for a scoop, she inherited his investigative skills in finding some answers, she picks the door lock carefully and tries to make it quick before anyone sees her and she's busted, she eventually unlocked the door and it opens up, she's got access to their dorm room.
"Thank you, dad, you taught me well." Anya smiled.
Anya enters the room and closed the door behind her, she then proceed to look around for some clues as to what Miles and Ganke are up to, she then spotted a laptop on the desk, it belongs to Ganke Lee. She opens it up and sees that it's still on, she attempts to access it but it's password protected, she sighs in disappointment. She closed the laptop as she doesn't have the password, she searches the drawers to find some clues but found absolutely nothing. Anya isn't getting anywhere searching through their stuff, she was about to give up until she noticed something is off about Miles's bunk bed, the sheets are out of place and not tucked in properly.
"Unless..." Anya is wondering.
Anya then lift up the bunk bed to see if there's anything hidden underneath, she then found something black as she picked it up, he got a good look at the mask, she recognized it as the one worn by Kid Arachnid. Anya is confused as to why Miles has it in his possession, the mask has a scratch on it, she then remembers something from the news footage she recently watched of Scorpion making a scratch on the mask exactly the same way. Anya became shocked as she finally figured out the connection, all those times he disappeared and Kid Arachnid suddenly appears, like that time he disappear at the circus all those months ago and Kid Arachnid later showed up, the answer has in front of her this entire time.
"Oh my god!" Anya is stunned.
The time is 9:34 AM at the Spider-Cave, Peter has finished using the fabrication machine to build a new suit for himself he'll need against the Sinister Six, a new Spider-Armor he dubbed MK III, he started to put on the suit to see how it looks on him, it's red and black, Spider-Man then walks up to the mirror and gazed upon himself in his new armor equipped with countermeasures and certain protection he'll need against the supervillain who joined Doctor Octopus, he'll need to take them on with everything he's got.
"There, that should do it, hopefully it'll give me an edge in the fight ahead." Spider-Man in his Spider-Armor MK III.
He then loads the web cartridges into his utility belt and walks out of the Spider-Cave. Once he made it outside, he sees Black Widow standing next to the S.H.I.E.L.D. quinjet parked outside the entrance.
"Here it is, one quinjet all fueled up and ready to go." Black Widow said.
"Thanks Nat, this is good, I appreciate it." Spider-Man is grateful.
"You're going to get yourself, you know that." Black Widow said.
"I know... but I'm still going." Spider-Man said.
"I wish I could tag along, but I got strict orders not to intervene, giving you the quinjet is as far as I'll go." Black Widow said.
"I understand, this is enough, thanks for helping out." Spider-Man said.
"Good luck, Little Spider, you're going to need it." Black Widow said before walking away.
Black Widow is leaving Spider-Man behind after delivering him a means of transportation to the island to save Aunt May and Mary Jane, but he'll have to go through an army of A.I.M. soldiers along with the Sinister Sixteen, he's at a huge disadvantage but he's still determined to see this through to the end, not just for his loved ones, but for the world. Spider-Man is about to board the quinjet until Gwen, Miles, and Ganke came by.
"Going somewhere?" Gwen said.
Spider-Man sighed. "You guys shouldn't be here."
"Why? Cause you're planning to leave us behind? I thought we were a team." Miles said.
"We are, but this is different, I'm heading towards A.I.M. island, right into the lion's den, this is a very dangerous mission I'm heading into, I'll be at a huge disadvantage once I'm there" Spider-Man explain his reasons.
"Which is why you can't do this alone, you need us." Miles said.
"Miles is right, we stick together." Gwen said.
"I appreciate you all offering to help, but like I said, this is very dangerous, even the three of us won't stand a chance against them... we could all die." Spider-Man explain the risks.
"Peter... I've already lost my father, you and May are all I got left, I won't lose my family again, not this time. So like it or not, I'm with you, Pete, you're not alone in this, you got me" Gwen made up her mind.
"And you got me, your Spider-Brother from another mother." Miles smiled.
"But what about your parents? If something goes wrong with this mission, they'll lose their son. Did you think about that?" Spider-Man said.
"I did, but my uncle is an accomplice to the very people who took your aunt and friend, this makes it my responsibility, it's my mission too. So I'm going with you and that's final." Miles said.
Spider-Man takes off his helmet and smiles. "I'm not going to get rid of you both, am I?"
"Afraid not, we're equally stubborn, like you." Gwen said.
"Guess you're stuck with us till the end." Miles said.
Spider-Man smiled. "Thank you... alright, if we're going to do this, then we go in with everything we've got. Head into the Spider-Cave and armor up, take what you see, anything."
Gwen and Miles went into the Spider-Cave to put on armor, Gwen picked out the Iron Spider Armor and suits up, Miles chose the Spider-Armor MK II Peter wore against Swarm months ago, Gwen is fully suited up in the Iron Spider Armor as she uses one of the suit's features, it's able to change it's colors from red to white, now it's white and gold. Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid are now donned in Spider-Amors as Ganke Lee is walking in.
"Nice... I'll be here providing you guys support." Ganke Lee said.
"Thanks... Listen Ganke, if I don't come back..." Miles said.
"Hey, you will come back." Ganke Lee said.
"I hope so, but if I don't... tell my parents the truth and tell 'em I love 'em, please tell 'em." Miles said.
Ganke Lee nodded his head. "I will, promise."
"Wish me luck." Miles said.
"Good luck." Ganke Lee said.
Miles puts on the mask as did Gwen, they both walk out of the Spider-Cave while Ganke says behind to help them from his end, coming out of the entrance is Spider-Man waiting at the ramp as he sees Ghost-Spider and Kid Arachnid coming his way in their new armor.
"We're ready." Ghost-Spider said.
"Last chance to change your minds." Spider-Man said.
"We know and we're still going." Ghost-Spider said.
"Us spiders gotta stick together." Kid Arachnid said.
Spider-Man is grateful. "Alright, let go."
Spider-Man, Ghost-Spider, and Kid Arachnid all boarded the quinjet about to depart from New York, Spider-Man takes the cockpit as he's the only one on the team with flight experience. Ganke Lee came out of the entrance to see the quinjet taking off from the ground and flying away from Roosevelt Island, all three heroes are heading towards danger.

Back at A.I.M. headquarters, Doctor Octopus is using satellite to track the craft Spider-Man and his friends are using, satellites are still tracking it and it's heading down south towards the Caribbean, he's with his team tracking it as the Sinister Sixteen are pleased Spider-Man is coming.
"Looks like you were right, boss, he took the bait." Chameleon said.
"What's the next move?" Vulture said.
"Now we wait. Have patience, my friend, everything is going according to plan, soon Spider-Man will come, this will be the day Spider-Man dies at our hand." Doctor Octopus said.
All the supervillains are all very eager to wait until Spider-Man gets here and they get the chance to kill him together on this day.
Meanwhile far away from Earth in the Realm Eternal, Asgard, Thor just came into the throne room before his father King Odin after receiving the news of the conflict happening back down on Earth concerning one of Spider-Man's villains holding the entire planet hostage and forcing the Avengers to back away from any action, Thor's has been staying in Asgard for months since his father summoned him back.
Thor got on his knee before Odin. "Father, I've just came from the Bifrost and received word from Heimdall, there is conflict back in Midgard, I must take my leave now."
"No, my son, you shall not." Odin forbade it.
"But father, the entire planet is being threatened, I must return and help my friends in the fight." Thor said.
"This is an internal Midgardian conflict, Asgard has no cause to intervene in this matter, I know that you have people you care for back there, but Midgard is still caught in it's own vicious cycle that never ends, you became a hero among them but even that's not enough to change them, humanity is still driving itself to it's own destruction, Asgard will not play any part in this." Odin said.
"Father, we cannot abandon humanity." Thor said.
"We didn't abandon humanity, my son, they abandoned us. More than a thousand years ago, we once came to save their world from the Frost Giants, even after we've reveal ourselves to them, they're still driven by their selfish desire for conflict and destruction, humanity never changes then and it won't change now, it's beyond saving, we just have to accept their fate. Listen to me, son, for your own good and for Asgard, don't intervene in this, I decreed it." Odin said.
Thor sighed. "I... understand, father."
Thor gets up and walks away from the throne room after Odin decreed that Asgard won't play any part in trying to save humanity again, Odin does have a point about humanity, even when Thor came to their world and help saved it, humanity is still stuck in it's own cycle of violence against one another. But on the other hand, he still remembers all the good people he met there, including Spider-Man and the Avengers who taught him heroism. A part of him wants to help his friends, but he once disobeyed his father in the past and ended up being exiled to Midgard as a result, Thor is feeling conflicted on whether to help his friends or wanting to follow his father's wishes.
Time is 11:34 AM over the Atlantic the quinjet is flying over the ocean halfway heading towards the Caribbean, Spider-Man is in the cockpit seat piloting the craft, he then puts it on autopilot and takes a break as he's still got a lot on his mind, Miles is looking at his phone of photos of himself with Uncle Aaron, he felt disappointed that his uncle is now part of the team that holding the world hostage, Gwen is looking at Spider-Man sitting all alone at the cockpit, she gets up and walks to him, Spidey felt a hand on his shoulder and sees that it's Gwen.
"Hey Pete." Gwen said.
"Oh, hey Gwen, what's up?" Spider-Man said.
"Nothing, I just wanted to see how you're holding up." Gwen said.
"I'm fine, really." Spider-Man said.
"Come on, I know you better than you know yourself, I know something is eating you, don't keep it to yourself, talk to me." Gwen said.
Spider-Man sighed as he gets up, he takes off the helmet and takes off the face guard underneath it, showing himself as Peter Parker.
"How did I let this happen? I knew that Ock was up to something bad after he broke into the Life Foundation and I did nothing to stop him." Peter said.
"Peter, you can't let yourself be consumed by guilt, not now." Gwen said.
"Why not? I took my eyes off Doc Ock for too long and now the whole world is paying the price for my negligence, including my Aunt and MJ." Peter said.
"Maybe, but there's nothing you can do before then, but you can still do something for them and for the world, right now they need you, they need Spider-Man." Gwen gripped Peter's hand. "You gotta keep on fighting, I believe in you, Peter."
Peter smiled and gripped Gwen's hand back. "Thank you, Gwen, I'm luck to have you in my life, then and now."
"I'll always be by your side, then and now." Gwen smiled.
Peter and Gwen gazed into each other's eyes and leaned in closer for a kiss, Miles looks upon his two friends and envies them for what they share together, a part of him wants that one day when he finds that girl that'll make him whole. Peter and Gwen kept on kissing together until Miles made a cough and got their attention, Peter and Gwen stopped kissing and looks upon Miles.
"You done?" Miles said.
"Yeah, we're done, sorry you had to see that, we got a little carried away." Peter blushed.
"Don't be, the end of the world is near and we're heading into battle, chances are you might not get another opportunity like this ever again. Speaking of which, we're almost to the island, don't you think you should say a few words to your friends?" Miles said.
"Which ones?" Peter said.
"You know, you closest friends from school, or even your superfriends. Once we cross the point of no return, you'll never get the chance, this could be the moment to speak up." Miles said.
"He's right." Gwen agrees with Miles.
Peter nodded his head in agreement. "You're right."
(Spider-Cave)
Ganke Lee is still at the Spider-Cave using the supercomputer, he's tracking the quinjet the spider heroes are using to get to the island.
"Ganke, are you there?" Peter said.
"Yeah, I'm still here, what do you need?" Ganke Lee said.
"Can you hack into the global broadcast system and relay a free from the quinjet?" Peter said.
"Ah, yeah, sure thing, I can do that, which ones?" Ganke Lee said.
"All of them." Peter said.
Ganke is stunned. "All of them?... Okay, I can do that, hang on."
Ganke Lee is stretching out his fingers as he's about to do something he's never done before, he's hack all the broadcast all over the world for Spider-Man to rely his message for everyone to hear.

Miles and Gwen puts back their masks to hide their faces as they stand behind the camera, Peter is putting back his face guard along with his helmet, Ganke successfully hacked into every broadcast system in the world for everyone to see.
"Okay, you're on!" Ganke Lee said.
Spider-Man sighed. "Attention people of the world, this is Spider-Man..."

At the mobile headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D., the entire organization is on edge after Doctor Octopus made his threats against the world a reality, Steve and Natasha are here at the bridge unable to do anything since they're being forced to stand down by the U.N. and S.H.I.E.L.D..
"Director, you better see this." Maria Hill said.
Showing up on the holoscreen on the bridge for everyone to see is Spider-Man in his new armor broadcasting on all the channels.
Nick Fury is stunned. "What the hell?"
"...I know that you're all afraid because of what's happening right now, and you all have a right to be afraid cause of everything this world has been through in the past two years, the world almost ended both times, we all feel hopeless because we know the end is near, but we can't let ourselves be consumed by fear, this world has been through tough times before and we managed to pull through, we survived against Loki, we survived against Ultron, and somehow I know we will survive this..."
Steve and Natasha are listening to Spider-Man's words along with Clint Barton, Sam Wilson, and new agent Jessica Drew.

At Avengers Tower, Carol, Bruce, Rhodey, and Vision are watching the broadcast of Spider-Man speaking out to the world. At the same time in Greenwich Village at the Sanctum Sanctorum, Doctor Strange along with Wong are watching the TV with Wanda and Pietro Maximoff both taken refuge here where Wanda can learn how to control her powers better. In Queens, Flash Thompson is at his home with his family watching the TV of Spider-Man speaking. At Brooklyn Visions Academy, all of the students there are watching, including Anya Corazon who knows that Miles is Kid Arachnid. The heroes are listening to Spider-Man who is willing to stand up and fight for this world.

At Pym Laboratories, Scott Lang is working there under Janet Van Dyne as both of them are watching lives of Spider-man speaking out to everyone. Scott is still new to this hero life, but he listens as Spider-Man is right, this world is worth fighting for, for their families and their loved ones, Scott is thinking of his daughter Cassie.

At the royal palace, King T'Challa is with his mother Ramonda and his sister Shuri listening to everything Spider-Man saying, this world is their home and everyone in it is part of the same planet, he remembers all those times Spider-Man helped out Wakanda during it's dark times in the past. Elsewhere on the outskirts of the city, Bucky Barnes is listening on the radio of Spider-Man willing to fight back to keep this world free from terror, something he himself once did.

At Stark Mansion, Pepper, Happy, and Tony are listening to Spider-Man speaking out, Tony hears the words Spidey is saying about overcoming mistakes made to the world, Tony himself made grave mistakes last year with Ultron, but he came to accept it and moved on, now history is repeating itself and Tony is here doing nothing to prevent it, he still remembers what Spider-Man has done for him and Pepper months ago.
"... no matter what mistakes were made in the past that lead to this, we can still fight for a better future..."

"... we cannot let this world fall into the hands of a madman who uses terror to threaten to end it, this world and everyone in it deserves to live their lives through freedom and independence. I know I'm heading into battle against the government's wishes and mostly likely I'll die as a result, but it's the right thing to do. I know may never come back from this, so I say this to my fellow Avengers... keep fighting the good fight and protect this world when I'm gone... it's been a great honor serving beside you all... wish me luck." Spider-Man finished his speech.
Nick Fury is disappointed to hear that Spider-Man is heading towards A.I.M. to face Doctor Octopus against everyone's advice, knowing the risk he's bringing to the world if Doc Ock decides to deliver on his threats. Steve Rogers on the other hand clenched his fist as Natasha noticed it, Steve is feeling conflicted hearing Spider-Man is heading into battle alone without any backup, he walks away slowly as Natasha has a feeling what he's about to do.

Spider-Man just finished speaking to the world and the camera is switched off, Spider-Man takes off his helmet still wearing the face mask as he walks up to the cockpit to see that they're about to arrive at the island within an hour.
Spider-Man sighed. "This is it, point of no return."
Ghost-Spider sighed. "No return for any of us."
Kid Arachnid sighed. "At least we have each other, there's no other place I'd rather be than beside my friends."
Spider-Man smiled. "I feel the same way... and seriously to the both of you, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart."
"Of course, us spiders gotta stick together." Kid Arachnid said.
"You know, after all this time we been a team, we never came up with a name for ourselves. Got any idea?" Spider-Man said.
"Mmm, how about the Amazing Friends?" Kid Arachnid suggested.
"Mmm, nah." Spider-Man said.
"How about Spider-Force?" Ghost-Spider suggested.
"Sounds cool... wait... how about... Web-Warriors?" Spider-Man suggested.
"That sounds cooler." Kid Arachnid approves.
"I love it, Web-Warriors it is." Ghost-Spider said.
"Well then, Web-Warriors, let's go save the world." Spider-Man said.
At the same time back at the Helicarrier, in the locker room Steve Rogers has suited up and picked up his shield, he's about to leave until Natasha Romanoff along with Clint Barton and Sam Wilson blocking his way, they know what he's about to do dressed as Captain America.
"Going somewhere, Steve?" Natasha said.
"I can't stand by and do nothing, I have to go help Spider-Man." Steve said.
"That means you'll be going AWOL if you do this, Cap." Sam said.
"I'm aware of the consequences and I'm fine with that, but I won't sit back while Spider-Man is heading towards certain death, I once gave up my life saving the world from HYDRA, I was lucky enough to comeback at all, now Spider-Man is doing the same thing, only he might end up dead this time. I can't let him fight this battle alone, I won't. If that means I'll face the consequences for my actions, then so be it." Steve said.
"I know... I'm coming too." Natasha said.
"If Nat is going, then I'm in."
"So will I, can't let you go out there without your wingman." Sam said.
"You don't have to do this, Sam." Steve said.
"I know... when do we start?" Sam said.
Steve smiled. "Very well, suit up."
Natasha is already suited up in her black catsuit equipped with pistols in the holsters, she just loads up the gauntlets with more tasers and strapped the electro-batons on her back, Clint Barton dressed himself in his new suit which is sleeveless with a purple arrow pointing down and puts on purple shades over his eyes, he loads up his quivers with trick arrows and picked up his bow, Sam Wilson suits up in a red and white suit, he straps the Falcon wings onto his back. Coming out of the locker room is Captain America, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Falcon walking down the hall until they got intercepted by Jessica Drew dressed in her makeshift suit which is red and black with a yellow spider with black legs on her chest, she's got yellow shades over her eyes.
"Hey, mind if I tag along?" Spider-Woman wants to join.
"Sure thing, Spider-Woman, let's go." Captain America said.
All five walked down the hallway together until they eventually made it to the hangar where a few quinjets are parked, one of the hangar engineers noticed them trying to board the craft and blocks their path.
"Sir, you're not authorized to use this..."
"Son, just don't" Captain America said.
Meanwhile back on the bridge, Nick Fury is still on alert along with everyone else given that Doctor Octopus can end all life whenever he wants, coming next to him is Maria Hill.
"Sir, Captain Rogers along with Agents Romanoff, Barton, Wilson, and Drew have taken the quinjet." Maria Hill informs.
"Shit... get me in touch with them immediately." Nick Fury isn't too happy.
(Quinjet)
Falcon is piloting the craft heading towards A.I.M. island while Captain America remains standing, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Spider-Woman are all strapped to their seats, the quinjet received a transmission from the Helicarrier as Nick Fury shows up in Holographic form.
"Captain Rogers, what is the meaning of this?!" Nick Fury isn't too happy.
"What does it look like, Director? We're going to A.I.M. to assist Spider-Man in this fight." Captain America said.
"Captain, you have strict orders to stand down immediately!" Nick Fury said.
"And do what? Stand by while Spider-Man is off to face certain death alone, that's not an option." Captain America said.
"Those are your orders, turn back immediately!" Nick Fury said before he got cut off.
Captain America sees that Falcon is the one who cut the feed.
"I didn't hear any of that." Falcon said.
"Me neither." Black Widow said.
"Ditto." Hawkeye said.
Captain America smiled. "Let's go get our boy back."

Nick Fury is ticked that Captain America decided to cut him off and go AWOL against strict orders.
"I think he just cut you off." Maria Hill said.
"No shit." Nick Fury said.
"Now what, Director?" Coulson said.
Nick Fury remains silent as how to act on this situation the whole world is facing, whether to aid the Avengers in their fight or obeying the World Security Council and stand down.
(Avengers Tower)
At the tower, Captain Marvel is walking towards the quinjet along with Bruce Banner, War Machine, Vision, joining them on this mission is Wasp and the New Ant-Man, both just came in from Jersey City, all six heroes boarded the quinjet as Captain Marvel takes the control, she fires up the thrusters and flies away from the tower's landing pad, everyone down on the ground looks up to see the Avengers leaving the tower, they suspect where they're heading to.
Captain Marvel then looks to her teammates. "This is it, the biggest battle is ahead of us, we're going in and going heavy with everything we've got."
(Wakanda)
Coming out of the palace is the Black Panther who decided to join Spider-Man in the fight against Doctor Octopus who just threaten the whole world, including his country Wakanda, he's heading towards his personal craft about to head towards the island, but joining him on this mission is Bucky Barnes dressed in his Winter Soldier gear armed with an assault rifle equipped with grenade launcher.
"I'm coming too." Winter Soldier armed with his weapon.
"It be an honor, let's go help Spider-Man save the world." Black Panther accepts his help.
Both Black Panther and Winter Soldier board the ship as it takes off from the pad, from the palace Shuri, Ramonda, and Okoye watched as King T'Challa is off to battle for the fate of the Earth, including Wakanda.

Inside the Hall of Armor, Tony Stark is suiting up in his newest armor which is mostly gold on the arms and legs and still has red on the chest, he's now Iron Man as he's walking out of the mansion all armored up for battle against A.I.M. to assist Spider-Man in this battle for the fate of the Earth itself, Iron Man opens up the face plate to see Happy and Pepper looking at him before he leaves, Pepper smiles as she's proud of Tony for standing up for what's right, Tony smiled back before closing the face plate, Iron Man then fires up his repulsors and flies away from the mansion heading towards the Caribbean.
"Hang on, Kid!" Iron Man said in his thoughts.
