Author's Note: Alright for first off, this one-shot takes place in the same universe as the Sasha x Alicia oneshots, taking place between part 1 and 2. Sadly this will be the only Christmas one-shot this year. Now onto the real talk..
The last few months have really been a struggle for me, mentally I am in a great place but this time my physical health has declined in a weird way. Those that knew me well know that writing is one of my favorite things to do. That is almost an impossible task right now. Since September I have been experiencing major back pains where standing, sitting up and even laying down almost brought me to tears. Come late October/November my neck starts with the same stuff. I have been on steroids, muscle relaxers, pain meds the works and nothing has helped. X-Rays can't find anything so I am waiting for further evaluation. I started this in early november and just now got it done. Since I have to force myself to even sit up for longer than a minute to write, i have to take a lot of breaks. 2020 did bring me something amazing though, my girlfriend, who has been so supportive and doing her best to take care of me. I love her so much and she's been my rock through a lot of this.. Anyways, that's my update.. I hope you guys have a Merry Christmas (it's a white christmas where I live..) and a Happy New Year..
Pairing: Lacey Evans/OC

You clicked on this for my lesbians, right? I don't own any of the Knockouts, Divas or anyone involved..I wish I did though..(except my OC if I use her)

"Lordy, lordy.. Why in sam hill have we been dragged to this trash heap for?" A heavily accented voice spoke out loud as the duo arrived at what seemed like a barren town. They had been traveling for what seemed like days on end in an attempt to pick up someone else's trash. The woman pulled the poster out of her pocket and observed the sketch once again. The villainous captain's face was plastered on walls all over the country. No one has succeeded in capturing this legendary Vixen so the big guns have to come in. All other squads have failed. The woman had a prominent smirk on her face while rolling up the poster and tucking it away. This was childplays for someone of her calibur. She stood over five and a half feet tall, long, blonde hair that was neatly compressed into a bun. Blue eyes that always shine confidently and a toned body that could compare to some men. A right hook that could knock a giant out cold. Mention of her name alone could make anyone tremble in fear. Sergeant Lacey Evans is the highest ranked female officer in the military. Born and raised in a strict military family, it was merely destiny for her to climb the ranks. She didn't need a squad, Evans disliked people. However there was one person that stayed by her side that she didn't consider quite a nasty. "These people look like peasants. Such a nasty establishment."
"Perfect place to hide out in.." A voice spoke out behind Lacey which got her to snap her head backwards. If any other person spoke without permission, she would have tore them a new one. The woman behind her was the only person that has secured Evans' trust, they have shared many battles together. She trusts her companion with her very life. Long, dark brown hair flowed down the woman's back as her hazel eyes scanned the area around her. She was about the same height as Lacey, her figure was curvier out of the pair. One hand held the horse's lead to stir her stead forward and the other stayed firmly on her revolver. Private Daisy Sanders' sole purpose is to protect and serve her leader. She had the unwanted privilege to be hand picked by the Sergeant herself. The blonde has a nasty attitude and often treats Daisy as a pack mule or in other words, her bitch. However in terms of battle, Sanders couldn't ask for a better person to be by her side. Their kill count together could rival the baddest of the bad. "Vixen has been a free woman for too long, Banks and her squad couldn't even do something as simple as this. Tch."
"Sending a classy lady to do such a trivial task is beneath me. I reckon that ya handle this on your own, can'tcha sug?" Daisy was glad that Lacey was facing forward as she rolled her eyes. This will probably be her Christmas gift from the blonde woman, the bounty of Alicia's head could be enough money to last a long while. She wasn't made of money like the Sergeant was.
"If that's what you want."
"Oh hell no, can ya imagine the fame of taking that hussie's head? She's mine." Again Daisy rolled her eyes, part of her wished she could be placed with another squad. Anyone but this bitch, she hated catering to this woman. She was a military woman not some petty servant, dammit. Did Lacey even care about her? Did Evans even appreciate her? Daisy shook those thoughts out of her head. They will never matter. They venture further into the town, past the saloon where Sasha and her morons were probably hanging out. Those nasties will never amount to anything slacking off like that. If they would accompanish a simple job then the big guns wouldn't have to strut in to take care of their mess. It's been months since the bounty increased for Fox's head and her attacks have still happened. Commotion could be heard loudly down by the bank. There seemed to be a lot of people around and seemingly inside the building. Windows were smashed as they looked at all the strangers in familiar attires, some holding bags of something heavy. Pirates. It seems trouble was stirring after all in this small, dusty town. "Now what do we have here, Banks and her lackey's aren't paying a bit of mind 'ere?"
"Here I thought this was going to be a peaceful ride." Lacey knew the sarcastic tone as they both hopped off their horses and took shelter against opposite walls nearby to survey the situation. Most were nasty men but there was one lady amongst the lot. Pale skin and long black hair, she seemed to be the one barking orders. Daisy wanted to capture the woman alive to see if she has any connection with the Legendary Vixen. Sanders didn't take her hazel orbs off any of the targets while loading her rifle. She wouldn't need anything else to deal with these weaklings but just in case, she might need to load that revolver too. She smiled wickedly, this was going to be a lot of fun. "First one's mine."
"Fine. All yours. Better hit your mark. I ain't covering if ya miss. I am going to go stir the pot." Lacey Evan strutted her way down the dirt path toward the bank, being careful not to stray too far from her partner. Daisy watched with a target already lined up, she never missed her shots. She had an eagle eye, sniping targets from miles away. The blonde wasn't afraid of some ragtag pirates, she could overpower any of them. She cleared her throat which attracted the attention of a few of them. "Ahem. Pardon me, any of you hand-" She faked a gag before snickering to herself. "I was going to say handsome but that's definitely not the case with nasties such as yourself. I am looking for someone in particular and was hoping y'all could assist in locating her."
"She's military, we ain't tellin' you shit!" One of the men shouted as Lacey observed most of their hands handing toward their weapons.
Evans couldn't help but snicker, her hands resting confidently on her hips."Now now, such harsh mannerisms, that isn't how to treat a classy lady such myself. However I will be the one to put you in your place like the little boys you are." The smirk stayed prominent on her face while lifting her right hand slightly, snapping her fingers quickly. A loud pop echoed and one of the men in front fell to the ground, a perfect shot between the eyes. "You gonna cooperate or do I have to display more of my power?" Everyone was looking around for a chance to locate where the bullet had come from. They weren't going to find her comrade unless the brunette made herself known. The men were restless and some were starting to panic and it would be a matter of seconds before another one hit the floor.
"What in the bloody hell are you idiots waiting for! Get her!" The lone woman pirate of the group roared which got the men drawing their weapons. Lacey couldn't help but snicker as the first couple men charged toward her with swords in hand. All the blonde really brought was her revolver that had a couple shots in it. She didn't want the fun to end just yet, it had been days since their last tussle with nasties. The first swing sealed the first man's fate as Evans quickly elbowed him in the stomach causing him to drop the weapon. The blonde picked it up and guarded against the second swing with another soon to be dead man. He grunted and continued to swing wildly which Evans was able to easily block.
"Lordy lordy.. You guys aren't any fun, so predictable." Using her long legs, she kicked the weapon out of his hands and impaled him quickly, the first man fell limp to the floor after a loud gunshot. More men started charging forward, swinging wildly once again like the morons they were. Lacey scoffed as one of the men grabbed her arm and made an attempt to tackle her down. She managed to overpower him and sent him crashing to the floor after delivering a devastating right hand to his face. It seemed to be the same song and dance for a while, the nasties would fall like dominos trying to take on one woman without trying to locate the sniper. Evans looked over the corpses that were coating the floor in a familiar red substance, the blonde lost count of how many she had taken down. Looking at one of the bodies, she noticed a particular emblem located on the shoulder. She sat and thought for a moment why it seemed so familiar and then it hit her. These men definitely belonged to Vixen, so Evans knew that the legendary pirate was close. The sound of footsteps approaching hit her eardrums but she didn't move a muscle. The Sergeant knew exactly who was behind her, she couldn't help but retort. "Bout time you decided to come around."
"Hmph. Shame that they didn't put up much of a fight. Seems like you were enjoying yourself, Evans." Daisy remarked as her eyes scanned the corpses on the floor. She was proud of handywork, they were a panicking mess and couldn't pose any threat to the likes of them.
"I was. They belong to Foxxy; makes sense to me. Well I guess, we are closing in on that bounty. Let's get outta here." The local authority could clean this mess up, they saved the money in the bank and there were no civilians injured by the roughians. Evans and Sanders both released a loud sigh, the blonde placed her revolver in it's holster. The Legendary Vixen was close by and they only have a small window to close in before the Captain realizes what happened. Daisy felt something wasn't right about the situation, it wasn't sitting with her. The brunette felt like there were eyes staring at them but initially shook it off, it was probably a townsfolk outside. A small sound clicked which was a sound that Sanders immediately recognized. Her eyes darted to the right and saw that woman, the leader of the squad. A loud pop echoed through the almost vacated bank and as the Sergeant crashed to the floor. "What in sam hill-" She was cut off by the woman beside her firing her revolver at the black haired woman, who flinched as the bullet hit the wall. She took the opportunity to flee without taking another shot. "You missed. Come on, we're going after her-"
Instead of jumping to her feet, her eyes looked over toward the brunette, a thin, crimson trail dripping down her chin. Lacey was originally going to mock her for missing but everything became crystal clear at the bloody hand pressed on her lower abdomen. Daisy had been shot by that lowlife pirate woman, the one that they didn't take down. She somehow escaped all the chaos and the duo had forgotten about her. Evans remembered falling to the floor but it was because her private pushed her. That woman was aiming for the blonde but Sanders took the bullet and saved her life. Lacey was careless. "Son of a.." The Sergeant was losing her composure trying to think of what to do, she kept pressure on the wound while looking back where the criminal had fled.
"Go.. I'll be fine.. here." The private gasped between breaths as the blue eyed woman stared at her in disbelief. If the shooter gets back to Vixen and relays what happens, then surely they will flee. However if Lacey leaves the only person she's ever trusted behind, there's no telling if she will survive. Lacey didn't want to be stuck with a nasty.
Not even a second later, Evans sternly spoke. "No. I am getting you a doctor, you're going to be okay." The blonde didn't carry about her uniform becoming a bloodied mess as she gently picked the bleeding soldier up in her arms. She seemed to have passed out from the blood loss before the blonde even replied to her. The Sergeant noticed her breathing was starting to slow and needed to move fast. "Help! I need a doctor!" She yelled out as loud as possible to attract any attention from the peasants in this town. The closest establishment was cross the road, the damn saloon but maybe someone there could help her.
Thankfully for Lacey Evans, her request had been answered because inside that saloon was one of the only medical professionals in this dump. They were able to use one of the spare rooms to set Daisy down in and hopefully stop the bleeding. All the supplies that were needed were located in the doctor's bag and Lacey's mind started to wander. A load of guilt started to wash over her, the private was on the table but it was suppose to be her. Daisy was simply doing her job and saved Lacey, allowing her to live another day. Would the brunette be standing in her place if the situation was reversed? She almost felt her eyes well up with tears thinking about how her partner in crime probably hated her guts. Lacey treated her like dirt and yet… she still saved her. Why? Anyone else probably wouldn't have done such a thing, the blonde would probably be dead right now. Yet.. Daisy did. There was an indescribable feeling settling in her gut, something she hadn't really felt before. But the thought of losing the one person that devoted her life to Lacey, it terrified her. She didn't want anyone else by her side, only this idiot that knows how to make her laugh.
Evans was able to pull her shit together as the doctor instructed the soldier to hold Sanders down. They had to remove the shrapnel from the bullet casing, her screams of pain echoed in the back of Lacey's mind while she started to struggle. It wasn't long before the brunette had passed back out and the doctor continued his work. Evans paced in the room for god knows how long as she would periodically look over at Sanders. The medication seemed to be working, but the bleeding hadn't ceased. The doctor's face troubled the soldier and the Sergeant made her presence known. "Listen to me, you better save her, you understand me. If you don't.. let's not come to that, shall we?"
Threatening the men was not originally in the plans but Lacey had overcome with such emotions that she hadn't felt before. By now, the legendary Vixen had probably sailed away to god knows where but that didn't matter to her now. What matters was making sure that Daisy will be alright. Time seemed to move at a snail's pace but finally the doctor had finished up the stitching and said that he would return to assess her later. Evans sighed in relief, she looked at the sleeping brunette and cracked a small smile. "You get better, ya hear?" She sassed knowing that her private wasn't awake to hear. She walked over to the right side of the bed and leaned over, "I ain't givin' ya another option. You can't get rid of me that easily." Her body moved on it's own and connected a tiny peck on the corner of the unconscious woman's lips. Initially she froze at the sudden romantic action but shrugged it off, it felt right to do. The blonde woman made herself at home in the armchair by the bed. She wasn't going anywhere. "I'll be here whenever you wake up." There was no ifs, ands, or buts, Daisy was going to wake up. She all but hoped.
