Author's Note: It's after Halloween so I decided to start doing these early this year. No one requested this but you can't go wrong with some Maisy. I thought I would start out this year's one-shots with my pairing. This is/isn't canon to my main universe. Think of this as a 'What If' scenario, Daisy and Maria in this one got back together not long after Daisy left the company.

Rating: T for like swearing and maybe suggested smut, who knows with me..

Celebrate

Daisy let out a long sigh as her eyes glanced over to the overly decorated Christmas tree. The brunette had been home more often and she had finished decorating the house for Christmas time. There would be the tedious task of taking all of this down in a couple days time whenever her schedule permitted. Her fianceé had assisted her a couple weeks ago with the lights but sadly, her schedule was heavier than the brunette. Most of the time, Daisy spent the days at home alone but she understood the heavy work schedule of WWE. She got to travel the roads with her redheaded lover for a few years before departing the company. The former Diva departed the company and originally wanted to run away from it all. The drama and the fear consumed her, that caused her to leave her now ex girlfriend all alone in that darkness. Daisy spent a week alone in her Knoxville apartment before mustering up the courage to call Maria, it was that phone call that changed everything. Their love was never extinguished and the pair had gotten back together. Daisy still did not attempt to sign back with the company. She wanted to follow her own path and that answer came calling in late July, right after her ninety day clause had expired. The President of a wrestling company called TNA had reached out to Daisy, they were wanting to start a women's division called the Knockout's division. Maria encouraged her to take the offer and so Daisy signed with the company not long after.

It had been over two years since then and their relationship was going stronger than ever despite the distance. Maria was hardly ever home but that was okay, they were both living their dreams. Soon another dream was going to come true, they were going to be married in a few months. It was difficult to attempt to plan the wedding whenever they were hardly ever home together. The redhead was managing to do all of it effortlessly while Daisy was struggling. She envied how skilled Ria was at multitasking. The brunette looked at the window while taking a sip of her hot cocoa as the snow coated the ground. It looked like a mini blizzard was going to come through but it wasn't surprising to her in the slightest. She had adjusted well to the weather further North. Once they reconciled their relationship, the brunette moved in with Maria leaving Knoxville behind for good.

It was Christmas and the brunette was unsure if her fianceé would be able to return home for the holidays. She hoped for at least one day together because Maria probably had house shows to go to afterwards. Daisy would be home for at least three more days before heading back to the Impact Zone. She managed to make it home late last night, her body still sore from the match the night prior. Her eyes drifted over to all the present before a sound caught her attention, it was a car. That blank expression turned into a massive smile once the brunette was able to see who exactly was driving the car. She set her mug on the coffee table and practically bolted out the door without grabbing a jacket. Sixteen days was basically an eternity without seeing her angel. "Babe! You made it!" Maria had hardly gotten out of the car before being tackled in a loving embrace. "Merry Christmas.."

"I wouldn't miss this for the world, babe. You know that stupid. Merry Christmas." The redhead let out a chuckle before giving her fianceé a kiss that they both longed for. Maria wished that Daisy would be able to travel with her again, it was still hard to sleep alone at night. She knew that the WWE wasn't for everyone and her partner was thriving where she is now. The green eyed woman shook her head, noticing that Daisy wasn't wearing proper attire for this weather. "You don't need to catch a cold, Nicole. Let's get inside." She cooed affectionately, taking off her green scarf and wrapping it around the brunette.

"I don't need to worry because I have you to warm me up." Ria could help but chuckle at the flirtatious wink that her partner gave her. She debated on whether or not she wanted to grab her luggage out of the car and decided against it. "I made some extra hot cocoa for you." A happy hum followed while the couple went inside hand in hand.

Maria instantly started looking around at all the decorations that weren't up the last time she was here. A smile prominent on her lips although the redhead wished that she was home more to help. The Knockout sat down in their recliner next to the tree and the Diva followed suit. She sat down on the taller woman's lap and snuggled closely to her. "You made the house look so pretty."

"I finished it a couple days ago. I made it back early this morning." It was about eleven in the morning now so Daisy only got a couple hours of sleep but it was worth it. They weren't going to be home all day. The couple were going to Maria's parents house for dinner and to open some presents there. She nuzzled into the crook of her fianceé's neck, planting a small kiss that made the redhead shiver involuntarily. "I'm so happy that we could both make it home. How long are you free for?"

"Three days until my next house show." That made the brunette's heart skip a couple beats out of pure joy. This will be the longest they've been together for months. Maria reached over and took a sip of the mug. She hummed in content before looking over at the Knockout. "How are you feeling? That bump you took like night was pretty nasty."

"A little sore. I didn't have to worry because I trust Jess, the match was amazing." That match in question was a number one contenders match for the Knockout's Championship. Whoever won would be able to challenge Tara for the title. ODB was the victor of said match but Daisy was proud of their performance. "LisaBoo and Jess will put on a helluva show but I will get my chance soon enough. But just to be safe.." There was a mischievous tone laced in her voice as her hands gripped firmly on the redhead's waist. With a swift motion, the brunette maneuvered the slightly smaller woman perfectly to be straddled in her lap facing her. "I might need my favorite nurse to give me a check up."

Maria felt a hand caressed through her red locks while the other made its home on her backside. The mischievous look in her fianceé's eyes said it all, it was too be expected from a pervert like this one. It didn't bother the redhead in the slightest, some intimacy was much needed. She was going to enjoy the next three days as much as possible. "Well I think my schedule has cleared up for a few days so I can scribble you in." She cooed in her own seductive tone while gesturing over toward the tree. "There is a present for you underneath the tree for just the occasion. It's wrapped up in pink and black."

"Oh?" The Knockout hadn't dared try to look at the presents, her curious nature could have possibly gotten the better of her. She hadn't paid attention to what wrapping paper Ria used for the present. Her eyes scanned around but didn't see one with the colors the redhead had said. The Diva climbed off of Daisy's lap much to the brunette's dismay and went toward the back of the tree. Maria grinned, holding the present that was hidden in the back. "I see. You sneaky girl."

"I mean it's time to celebrate after all. This will be our Christmas together before I become your wife." That was true, their wedding was going to take place in about three months, the start of a new chapter in their lives. Everything will be changed forever. It seemed so surreal to the pair that it was fast approaching. Daisy reached over toward the gift but Maria pulled it back. "You can't open this one yet. Trust me, it will be worth the wait." The brunette gave a playful pouty face as the redhead let out a small yawn. "Maybe we should go lay down for a bit, I need some cuddles."

"Yeah, I am down for a nap." Maria was already heading toward the bedroom by the time that Daisy said that. Those green eyes were looking back at the brunette with a lust filled tint, a smile graced her lips. "I am down for a workout with Miss Diva of the Year as well." Her fianceé simply twirled her finger and Nicole would be an idiot not to follow. The weather wasn't going to heat up any but the Knockout wouldn't have it any other way. She was going to be in the arms of her lover and hopefully figure out what is inside that present. Either way, she knows she's going to enjoy it.
