Decorate

Christmas time was Alexa's favorite time of year. She loved seeing all the decorations hanging around, the inflatables in the yard. She loved seeing the blankets of snow covering the ground and all the pretty lights. Cuddling under a blanket with a cup of hot choca while watching the old Christmas cartoons on tv. Even though the blonde wasn't fond of all the cold weather, she adored the snow. All the Christmas songs would always be playing on the radio, she loved singing and dancing to them. Some people think that decorating is such a tedious task but Alexa didn't think so. Her absolute favorite thing was always getting and decorating the christmas tree. Of course, the blonde decided to be extra and get a huge tree. Lexi let out a small, annoyed grunt as she stood on her tiptoes. A circular ornament in her hands, she couldn't reach the exact spot the blonde wanted to place it. Most of the tree was already covered with different ornaments but the top of this tree was the last spot. "Babe, can you lend me a hand?" The shorter blonde called out from the living room for her longtime girlfriend. "Fuck. Almost there."

With a slight skip to her step, a woman with light pink hair made her presence known in the living room. Her blue eyes scanned the pretty Christmas tree with a wide smile before her attention went solely to her girlfriend. Gionna wanted to make a short joke but decided against it for the time being. "Ooh look at you being a whole snack LexiBoo." The pink haired woman said with a seductive tone and a quick lick of her lips. She was wearing sweatpants and her girlfriend was wearing a pair of shorts that showed her assets quite nicely. Granted they hadn't been up for long and had no plans to go anyways. A day of cuddling was needed, it was a rare occurrence that they were both off from work.

"We all know I am not a snack, Liv. I am the whole damn meal." Lexi decided to playfully retort as she turned to face Gionna. Once upon a time, the pair weren't exactly fond of each other. They shared a mutual friend in Ember, but weren't exactly keen on getting to know each other. The pair tolerated each others' presences but they assumed the worst in the other. There was one night where a group of friends went to a concert together. Everyone had already left but the two left waiting for a cab were Liv and Alexa. They all had plans to get wasted at this concert so by night's end, the pair were pretty wasted. At first it was complete silence while the duo waited at the sidewalk for their taxis. After about five minutes of nothing, it was Alexa that started to speak to the pink haired woman. Gionna was surprised at this action but enjoyed the conversation. It took about twenty minutes of nonstop conversation for them to realize how similar they truly were. It was a mistake to let rumors cloud their judgement. A taxi arrived that Liv had called, she felt uncomfortable leaving her new friend alone, she invited her to join her. That night Alexa went to Liv's place and they talked for hours about everything. They crashed cuddling in each other's arms. The pair woke up the next morning with a newly ignited friendship, it took about six months to realize the friendship sparked into something else. Gionna was the one to make a move first and asked Alexa on a date. That date sealed the deal and the women have been a couple for over two years now.

"Well I know what I want to eat later." Alexa couldn't hide the blush that appeared on her cheeks. The blonde scoffed lighty at the bluntness of her lover, Liv was always this blonde wasn't sure if she was sexually attracted to women or not but there was something about Liv that made her question it. Even though she detested her at the time, she couldn't deny how beautiful the pink haired woman was. Was it jealousy that made her feel that way? Liv was always sure about what she liked. Despite disliking Alexa at the time, the taller woman thought she was gorgeous. Gionna joined her lover's side and motioned to be handed the ornament. "Here sweetie, I got it." Alexa puffed her cheeks out as she handed the bulb over to her girlfriend. Liv struggled but not as much as Lexi did. She was able to place the bulb on the tree. "I can't help you are such a shorty."

"You aren't much taller than me." Alexa mumbled under her breath as she decided to assist by handing the ornaments to the slightly taller woman. Minutes had passed and the tree was really getting full. The last thing to make everything perfect was the topper, the beautiful golden star. Gionna wouldn't be able to reach the top on her own, instead the pink haired woman climbed and stood carefully on their sofa. Once that was placed, Liv quickly looked at their combined handywork. They were proud of how pretty it looked. "It looks amazing babe."

"Not as amazing as you." Liv cooed smoothly as she gave her locker a small kiss on the lips. The kiss lasted a couple seconds as Gionna gave another small peck on the lips before walking toward a different part of the living room. Alexa couldn't suppress the grin on her face, she had everything she ever wanted. What more could she ask for this year?

Alexa let out a content hum as she admired their beautiful tree, it was perfection. It was their first Christmas living together, everything had to be perfect. Her eyes lingered on her favorite addition to the tree, the ornament had a picture from their first date. Liv hadn't been standing beside her for a minute now but she could hear movement beside her. Her head turned to the right and there stood her beautiful girlfriend in only her bra and underwear. "Gionna Daddio! What are you doing?" Liv stuck out her tongue as she walked over to the patio door to their backyard. The curtains were pushed back so the couple could admire the snow falling on the ground.

"I bet that you won't run out in the backyard in your bra and panties." The pink haired woman snickered playfully as Lexi blinked in surprise at her girlfriend.

"No because I am not stupid." This was one of the many challenges her girlfriend was known to do at random times. Alexa could remember whenever Gionna made her friend Lacey jump in a river with her clothes on. Another time, she made the former Marine sing in a crowded area. Lexi has done several stupid challenges, this wasn't going to be one of them. "I am not getting sick because of you. I don't want anyone to see me either."

"You're such a pussy." Of course, she knew her girlfriend was joking. "Come on, Liv your life. You won't last thirty seconds."

"I am what I eat babe." The shorter of the couple retorted with a remark that almost caught Gionna off guard. The pink haired woman let out a chuckle and decided to open the back door anyways. Alexa shook her head from side to side as Liv ran outside letting out a loud, happy scream. The blonde let out a smirk, and changed her mind immediately. She wasn't going to lose this game now. She was going to tackle her lover into the massive blanket of snow. "I'll Liv my life." Alexa mumbled to herself as she quickly discarded her upper layers of clothing. She was going to make sure they are only out there for a minute. The blonde wanted to gloat about doing this stupid challenge but the real reward would definitely come later. "Wait for me, stupid!"
