Chapter 31: The Long Road

Year: X755. 29 years till Canon begins.

Cade POV:

The journey to Lavender town first involved us travelling to Crocus via the train we got on back at Magnolia. We had to travel on the train for two whole days. Thankfully we were both able to order some food along the way that was provided by the workers on the train. There were also sleeping quarters that were recently installed in the last year, that allowed passengers to sleep on the train during night.

Along the way to Crocus, I often told mother some stories about the towns we were passing by. They more often than not, involved the many different sort of things Gildarts and I got involved in while we were on jobs there.

The time in which we had to fight some bandits on a nearby road, the time in which we ended up destroying half a forest *cough cough Gildarts* and of course the times in which we found ourselves running from the Rune Knights (mother not being entirely amused by that one…)

Me and mother would find ourselves playing cards on the way up to Crocus. We didn't really bring any other games with us that we could easily play. During the night I would occasionally glance over Malvel's spell book to see about getting some translating done. Mother even helped sometimes! We didn't get any pages translated sadly, as a train carriage is hardly an ideal place to focus properly, but we did some of the verse written down to help me in the future.

There were thankfully no weather problems along the way, which meant that we were able to make it to Crocus in the expected two days! We were able to see the booming and flourishing capital of Fiore in the far distance, me only noticing it out of the corner of my eye when I was leaning against a window. Me and mother watch in awe as we saw the huge stone walls and gigantic Royal Palace get closer and closer to us.

Mother had told me that this would be her first time in Crocus, so she did want to go and see a few shops while she was here with me. Then she would purchase everything when we were going back to Magnolia, to save us lugging it around with us. I planned to do the same with my souvenirs for Pierce and Charles. I had absolutely no idea what I should get them, so I chose to hold off on that for now until I think of something.

Eventually the train came to stop, with me eager to escape the carriages that I had been in for the last several hours. It was fine to ride them on a ten minute or so journey, but spending two days in there really gave off a sense of claustrophobia.

With us then out of the train, we both made our way through the booming capital to see the shops and get transportation further north to Lavender Village with us lugging our suitcases behind us. There were hundreds of people moving through the capital along with us. I made sure to stay close to mother to ensure I didn't get lost from her. If I had lost her in the sea of tourists, then I most likely wouldn't have seen her again until I asked someone for help.

I must say, it felt rather strange to know that in this city was the young recently crowned King Toma.

I remember seeing the news on the newspaper when it came into the guildhall not too long ago. King Toma was in his early thirties, and had been put on the throne when his father chose to step down after a long and successful reign. I, as well as the many others in Fairy Tale had high hopes for the King, as he had been preparing for this his whole life.

Anyway, we continued to move forward into the ever busy capital and eventually came out on the city square that was in the center of Crocus. Here it wasn't so busy, and there were tour guides with around a few dozen or so tourists scattered across the square, giving the history of Crocus.

Me and mother decided to split up, now that we were in a much more recognisable and easy to get to area. She would go to the many different shops she wished to see, while I would find transportation to Lavender Village. Hopefully I could do this by the end of the day. She offered to carry my suitcase, so it would not slow me down, me gladly accepting that offer.

While exploring the town, I saw many impressive buildings. I saw a grand garden center, which was known for having the previous King drop by one time. I saw a huge fancy restaurant which was known for having the highest ratings across the entire city! (One look at the prices turned me away immediately however.)

Perhaps the most odd thing I saw was a huge building that looked like it was once a huge and popular tourist attraction when it was still open for visits. I say that last part, because the entire building had huge boards over the doors and windows! I had asked person nearby about what that building previously was.

Apparently, it used to be a museum with grand and ancient objects in display. A few years ago they went out of business due to a job gone wrong. They ended up running out of money and were forced to close unfortunately.

Realising that the building won't help me find Lavender Village, I continued to move across the big city to find someone to help me.

I did quickly browse a few shops to see what they had to offer, but I couldn't find anything that would gain the attention of me, Pierce and Charles.

Eventually, I came across a few inns, in which many traveler's, Royal Knights and guild members would come to have a drink and laugh away their worries. I thought that these places out of anywhere in the huge city would help me find transportation to Lavender Town. I then entered the nearest inn and spoke to a man willing to transport others for payment.

However… There was one issue I just realised when the topic of Lavender Village would be brought up.

I didn't know where Lavender Village was. And nether did they.

I had somehow failed to ask Master before we left. I just assumed that many of the travellers here would know of the village as well. How can these people not know about it?! Whatever the case, whenever I bring up the existence of a Lavender Village they all just thought I was crazy!

It had been a few hours since we had entered the city, and no one seems to be willing to take us to a village that doesn't exist to them. The issue was mainly the fact that they didn't know where the place was, if I could find out where it was located then they would probably take me.

As such, I went into a few of the libraries to see many of the maps that were archived to find this "Lavender Village." To my disappointment, I was unable to find the villages location in many of the small libraries around Crocus.

It was now the late afternoon, and I had to be getting back to mother as I had been away from her for a few hours now.

There was however, one building I haven't checked yet that might hold some answers for me: The Royal Library of Crocus.

This building had records of information that dated back to over 200 years ago. Many of the previous smaller libraries I checked for maps to Lavender Village, had information that was fairly recent, and didn't date back to far in the past. Every map I had checked was more recently created. Around 10 to 50 years ago. I figured that the Royal Library would have a map that had was written far enough in the past, that maybe Lavender Town would show up.

It was really my only plan left, so I headed in and immediately moved to the back of the library, which had the much older and more ancient information that could be found in the building. I found a section that had many different maps from different generations. I quickly scrolled through them and kept skimming the top of them to find the words Lavender Village. I did this for what felt like hours, carefully checking each map for the location.

And so here I am right now, checking map after map to find confirmation about the existence of this village.

'Come on… How hard can it be to find one single village?! It's like the place doesn't want to be found at all. If these maps don't have it written down somewhere, then I don't think anywhere else will have it. I'm not sure what we'll do if we can't find it.' I thought with fear.

Finally when I was about to give up and leave the library, my eyes caught something interesting on the last map that was dated around 200 years ago. It was a map of the surrounding area of Crocus. I spotted something just below a mountain range north of Crocus, just below the coast. There were two words that were faded out, but I could barely make them out.

My eyes widened with shock, and I had to blink to make sure what I was seeing was correct.

'Ah! T-This is it! Lavender Village does exist!' I cried out in my head with joy and relief. 'So that's where is located eh? I guess it makes sense that no one would be able to find it if it's below a mountain range near the coast.' I thought, looking at the location again.

I could see another village about half a days travel from Crocus a bit below Lavender Town. A good resting point along the way.

'Now I just need to find someone willing to take me and mother to this village! Wait…! How do I tell them about the village? I don't know if I can pick this map up and take it with me. Sure this is a library, but this map goes back over 100 years! I doubt they'll just let me leave with it.' I suddenly froze at that thought.

'Hmmm… Think Cade think! What can I do here?!' I began to think of a way to get up to Lavender Town now that I knew the location. My eyes then skimmed the map again for any potential ideas.

My eyes then caught the small village below Lavender Village. The village was titled, Aster Village. Then I got an idea.

'Wait a minute…' I then began to flick through the other maps to see if my hunch was correct. Sure enough, Aster Village was there on all the maps, located in the same place that being not too far down a mountain range.

'That's it! All I have to do is hire a cartridge to take us both to Aster Village! Then I'm sure someone there will be able to take us to Lavender Village. If that doesn't work out then I guess we can speed walk there.' I thought, grinning with a plan in my head.

I look one last look at where both Lavender Village and Aster Village were, before then putting both maps back where they came from and dashed out of the library to head back to the main square to find mother.

By the time I eventually made it to the main square, it was sunset which meant that night was certainly on its way. I looked around and saw my mother chatting with another lady not to far away from where I was.

I ran up to her to tell her the news. By the time I got up to her, she and the lady she was speaking to had just finished talking and moved away from each other.

"Mother! Guess what?!" I cried out in delight upon reaching her.

"Hmm?" She said as she turned around to see who it was. "Cade!" She said with a smile. "Just where have you been? It's almost night time now! We may have to stay in a hotel for tonight and resume the search tomorrow." She said as she crossed her arms. "Oh yes. You had something you wanted to say right?"

"Sure do! I was able to find the location of Lavender Village!" I stated with a proud smirk.

"You did?" She looked surprised to hear that. "I asked about the village when I was in a few shops, and no one seemed to k ow what or where it is." She explained to me. "How did you find it?"

"I went to the Royal Library and found a really old map that showed where it is! The only issue is that, the map I found seems to be the only map in which the Village has a confirmed location." I started off. "But… I found another village which is located just under Lavender Village! That village seems to be listed on almost every map I've seen. We just need to hire a carriage to take us there, and I'm sure someone there will be able to take us the rest of the way."

"Really?" Mother seemed to think about this. "Yes that could work… Well anyway, we have to find a hotel to spend the night in. Tomorrow we can hire to carriage to this town you found."

With that, the both of us headed to find a hotel for us to spend the night in. We were able to find a decent one that was relatively cheap and comfortable, and we both fell asleep not after entering the room.

The next day, we both headed to a nearby inn to find someone that would be willing to take us to Aster Village. This time, the first person I asked for transportation was willing to take us there without any issue as along as he was paid.

'Well that was certainly easier than yesterday.'

Within the next few minutes, me and my mother were both sitting in a carriage with our luggage, as it was about to set off to Aster Village. The man was about to head in that direction for trade for a town further north to the coast.

The journey to Aster Village was a lot more quiet and tranquil than the journey on the train. For one, there were only two people in the cartridge. The second was that we could actually hear all the wildlife outside the cartridge as we were travelling. The third was that we were able to see all the lovely landmarks and nature as we were travelling.

We then came up on Aster Village, it wasn't a huge village compared to some of the much larger ones that we passed on the journey to Crocus. It was quite small from what I could see as we came up on it. There were a couple dozen houses with a main pathway, that the many carriages that passed by here used. There was no church, unlike Orchid village. I also eyed some farms and gardens at the back of many of the houses, as well as a large river that ran along the south of the village. These must be the main way villagers here gathered food.

As we passed through the village, I could see a market made up of a few stalls that was located in the village center. The villages must gather their food and produce and sell it off to the other villages or passing traders for profit. Quite a simple and yet efficient way to live.

The carriage we were in came to a stop not too long after we passed the central square. A minute later, the door opened and we were grated by the driver who took us here.

"Well here you are." He said as he turned his head back to look at the village. "This is your stop. I've gotta unload my cargo here and deliver it to the villagers at the stalls."

"Ah, of course. Thank you for taking us here." My mother thanked the man, as she got out of the carriage, with me following with her,

It took a us a few hours to get to the village, so it was currently just past miday. I looked around the village a bit more now that I was out of the carriage.

"What a quiet and lovely place this is." My mother spoke to me. "I wouldn't mind living here, if I hadn't already found the perfect place already." She remarked.

"Can't help but agree with you on that last part. Our best bet to find further transportation to Lavender Village would be in a nearby inn." I suggested as I looked around the village.

As I was looking around in all directions, I saw some huge mountains in the far distance. There were only a couple of them close together, but they went up for a good few kilometres, and I could even see snow at the top of them. A pathway from the village did seem to go towards them, but there were several small hills in that direction so it was hard to tell.

'Are those the mountains that are just above Lavender Village? Can't see any other mountains near here so it might just be. Still, that's a good few hours walk from here. It'd be best if I can find some one that knows where Lavender Village is.' I remarked internally.

"Let's take a walk through the village. Maybe we'll find someone that knows where the village is. There's a better chance someone here will know rather than someone back in Crocus." I suggested.

"Yes that's sounds great! I'm curious to try the many different foods here." Mother said. She once again offered to take my suitcase for me, as we both then moved down into the market.

While down there, we both split off from each other like back in Crocus, and we agreed to meet back up later on in the day. Mother went in the direction of many different food stalls to taste the various different foods that were there. I on the other hand, went into what I believe was the only inn that was in this village.

Upon entering, I looked around the interior of the building to see if there would be anyone in here that could help me. I saw quite a few people drinking at tables and talking quite casually with each other.

In one corner of the room, I saw what looked like a man who was wearing a thick black cloak. There was a hood that came over his head, and he sat with his head down just far enough to the point where I couldn't see his face. The man seemed like he didn't want any company at his table.

'Yeah don't think I'll ask him for help. He seems like he wants to be left alone.' I decided firmly, as I turned away from him and headed up to the bar at the front of the room. There I found the innkeeper who gave me a curious look as I came up to him.

"Yes?" He questioned, curiously raising an eyebrow at me.

"Hey there. Is there anyone here willing to transport people to another village for money?"

"Sure there is. There's a man at that table over there willing to take passengers for a price." He pointed to a table not too far away from where the hooded man was. There I saw a man chatting away with two other people. "Just ask him if he's free." The innkeeper said, before he turned away from me to serve another customer.

"Thanks." I said, before I then made my way over to the man he pointed towards. When I got to the man, the two people he was talking left him, which gave the prefect time to ask him for his help.

The man gave me an odd look when he saw me come up to him.

"Hello there." I smiled as I approached him. "I would like you to take my mother and I to a nearby village. I know your services aren't for free, so I can assure you that you will be paid." I promised him.

"Nice to have someone who knows what I want for once." The man's face turned into a smirk after he said that. "I have a carriage leaving today, it'd be you, your mother and some goods I need to transport. So where you headed? I'm sure I can make a detour along the way."

"Lavender Village." I told him.

The man paused and gave me a weirded look. "Say that again kid?"

"Lavender Village."

The man gave a scoff after hearing that. "Never heard of it." He said, as he turned away from me and drank from a beer on his table.

"N-No! You must have!" I exclaimed. "It's located at the bottom of the mountain range not far from here. About an hours travel by cart!" I explained to him desperately.

Now the man let out a laugh when I said that detail. "Ha! You must be mad if you think there's a village that small under a mountain range that big. Tell me. If there's a rockfall on that mountain range what would happen to all the rocks and boulders that fall off the mountain?"

"Argh…"

"That's right, they'd fall on the whole village and kill everyone. Only an idiot would create a village right below a mountain range." He stated as he took another swig of his drink.

"B-But I know it exists! I've seen a map that goes back 100 years, and I've seen Lavender Village labelled on it to the north of this village and right below a mountain range!" I raised my voice to the man.

This time the man gave me a curious look. "Oh? And where is this map then? Come on show me it!"

I fell silent.

"What's wrong? Upset I won't take you and your mother to a village that doesn't exist?" He jeered at me.

"F-Fine!" I shouted at him. This caused a few of the people at the tables nearby to turn and look at me curiously. "I'll just find someone else that can help me get where I want. If not, I guess we can always walk it!" I declared, as I left the inn filled with anger.

I then spent the rest of the day asking to see if anyone in the village could get me to Lavender Village. To my sheer and utter horror, no one that I spoke to knew about the village. Like in Crocus, they all thought I was crazy!

A horrible feeling of despair began to sink into me as I was walking back on myself through the village.

'How can these people not know about Lavender Village?! I saw it on that 200 year old map so it had to exist! Master wouldn't have lied to me. Yeah he can be a joker sometimes but he wouldn't go this far… right?'

Me and mother eventually met back up at the village square at sunset. I saw that she looked quite happy with herself. She had seeming got what she wanted and tried lots of lovely foods while going through the market.

"Oh there you are Cade! I actually saw you a few times moving through the market. I tried to come up and see you, but I kept getting distracted by all the lovely foods that were here. This fruit is some of the nicest that I have tasted!" She said with a smile as I came up to her. Our suitcases were sitting stationary by her side.

"That's… really nice."

Mother noticed my glum expression. "Oh? What's wrong?" She asked a bit concerned.

My face turned into a grimace. "Argh! No one here will take us to Lavender Village because they think it doesn't exist! But I've seen it on the map back in Crocus! I know it exists!" I shouted.

Mother gave me a look of concern. "Hey it's ok Cade." She assured me giving me a hug. "It's fine if no one is will take us there for hire. Maybe we can walk it to see if we can get to it. I believe you when you said it existed and you saw it on a map."

"T-Thanks…" I said as I hugged her back.

"Well I think we should book in for the night. An inn here should give us a room." She stated as she looked around the village. The sun was at its lowest point by now, and the square was practically empty. I think we were the only people still in the village square.

"I'll have to show you the way to one of the inns I found. We can get a room in there I'm sure." I suggested as I broke the hug and looked up at her.

However, I saw that mother was not looking down at me with love and kindness which is where I assumed she would be looking, but rather she was staring behind me with concern and seriousness, her eyes not blinking.

"Huh? Mother wha-?" I began to say in confusion.

"Don't turn around Cade." She hissed quickly to me, cutting me off. Her gaze had not moved.

"W-What?!" I hissed back with worry. "What's going on?!"

I could hear mothers breathe shaking. "There is a man with a thick dark cloak covering his whole body. He has a hood over his face so I can't see his face due to that. He is currently looking right in our direction." She whispered with fear.

I froze when hearing that.

I saw a mirror in front of me that was against a house to be put on sale tomorrow. I angled my head slightly so could look into the mirror and see behind me.

When I got a reflection of what was behind me, I saw a man that matched the description mother said staring right at the both of us. He was leaning against a wall of a nearby house. However, this was not what scared me the most about this man.

He was the same cloaked man I saw at the corner of the inn earlier in the day.

"I've seen him! He was in one of the inns I went into earlier today." I told mother quietly. "I think… he might have been following me… not sure why, but I swear I felt him looking at me while I was in the inn."

"Shhhh." Mother shushed me. "There's a high chance he's a dark wizard."

"I can take him." I declared with gusto. "Seriously I can handle this guy. Just let me turn around and face him. I'll lure him out of the village and fight him there."

Mother swallowed a lump in her throat, and took a deep breath, before giving me a very small but noticeable nod.

I then turned around to face the cloaked man with confidence. Now that I could see him with my own two eyes, I saw that he wasn't actually as far back as I saw in the mirror. He was a good few meters from us instead of the other side of the village which is what I saw in the mirror.

"What do you want?" I demanded to the mysterious man.

He shifted his posture, and stood up straight. I could tell even from the distance between the both of us that he was much taller than me.

"Boy. How did you come to learn of Lavender Village? And what are your intentions there?" The man answered with seriousness, him then demanding answers from me.

'He about knows Lavender Village?' I struggled to even get the idea through my mind. 'How does HE know about the village?!'

"What!? How do you about Lavender Village? And no, more importantly, why have you been following me!?" I questioned, pointing my finger at the man.

"How I know of the village is none of your business. But it is certainly my business to keep an eye on people that try to involve themselves with certain things that they should not." The man replied coldly.

"How you have heard of the village is concerning to me. I will have to send a party out to destroy this map so that it may never be seen again." The man followed on.

'If this guy was a dark wizard, then he surely would have tried kill us.' I realised with interest. 'He seems like he wants to protect the village rather than attack us both. If I say the right words here I might actually get to avoid a fight for once.'

"I'm not going to hurt anyone in the village if that's what you're thinking." I assured the man. Honestly between the both of us he looks much more like a vigilante, but I knew better to say such things to men dressed like him.

"And how can I take your word for it?" The man asked sternly, him not shifting his posture.

"You can trust me because I'm a wizard from a guild." I explained, rolling up my sleeve to show the man my bright red Fairy Tale guild mark.

If the man had a face under that hood, then I highly doubt he would have shown surprise, as he didn't move a muscle after I showed him my mark. His voice thankfully, helped me understand his thoughts on that.

"You are a guild wizard?" He asked me with curiosity now. "I do not recognise that guild mark." He followed on with a bit of a warning tone.

'He doesn't recognise Fairy Tale? We've been around for the last 50 odd years or so.' That got my interest. However I felt this was not the best place nor time to ask him about that. I wasn't exactly holding all the cards here.

"My guild is Fairy Tale. Our guild has been around for decades now." I explained.

I had a horrible feeling this wouldn't be enough to calm the man down and make him back off at me. I was trying to think of something else that may be able to reassure the man that I meant no harm to him or the village. Before I could do so, he spoke up to me, cutting my thoughts off.

"This is my final question to you: What business do you have in Lavender Village? I suggest you answer this question truthfully." He asked with no emotion. "And do not try to avoid answering the question."

'If he wants the truth I'll give him the truth. I've got nothing to hide after all!' I took a deep breath before answering him.

"I'm travelling to the village to learn from a man that supposedly lives there, to be able to combine my magic together before it leaves my body. I learned of the village from my guild master who learned of it from a friend that I have never met nor do I know his name." I explained to the man.

"Hmm." Was his only reply.

'Oh come on! Please just let go to the village in peace!' I prayed with hope.

"Very well." The man replied.

He then made his way up to me and my mother. I was still a little on guard in case he tried anything, but for the most part I was trusting of him.

Upon reaching the both of us, he removed his hood to reveal his face to me and my mother. Despite the sun now just about to set, I could still make the man out.

This man looked like he was in maybe his mid thirties. He had tanned skin, with emerald green eyes. His hair was black in a short ponytail, that was tied to the back of his head. I saw that he had a thin line that was just above the left corner of his mouth. A scar perhaps?

"My name is Mato." He greeted me and my mother with a nod. "My job is watch over Lavender Village and make sure that no one with nefarious intentions tries to enter. I wasn't entirely sure whether to trust you back there, however I will take your words to heart and allow you both to enter." He explained to me and my mother.

"Aw really? Thanks Mato!" I thanked the man with a smile.

"I must thank you as well for allowing me and my son to enter your village." My mother also showed her gratitude to Mato there with a kind nod.

"Oh it's not my village. I'm just the person who chosen to watch over it from the outside occasionally." He then cleared his voice. "Anyway. If you both follow me, then I can take you to the village. There is a carriage driver that was about to take goods from here to Lavender Village. He was just waiting for me."

"Excellent! Lead the way Mato!" I said with excitement.

Me and mother followed Mato to the cartridge that was taking the goods to the Lavender Village. We came behind a house that was on the outskirts of the village, and we saw a large carriage that had a driver on it – him tending to the horses meant to pull the carriage. I could see several crates inside the cartridge from the windows, so it'd be a tight squeeze for me and my mother.

Mato then approached the driver and got his attention. "Reed. We're ready to go now."

"You take care of that kid?" The driver, who I assume was called Reed asked Mato. The funny thing was, I swore I'd heard that voice before.

The driver then jumped off the drivers seat and immediately came face to face with me and my mother.

"AHH! I-It's you!" I shouted pointing at the driver.

It was the jerk who refused to take me to Lavender Village earlier today!

"Hey keep it down kid!" Reed hissed. "The whole town might wake up if you keep yelling like that!"

"Argh! You lied to me back in the inn!" I hissed back at him.

"My job is to see if anyone is snooping where they really shouldn't be. When you started going on about Lavender Village, I felt I had to ask Mato who was in the inn as well to deal with you. I was especially panicked when you brought up a map." Reed told me.

He then gave me a look of curiosity. "I'm surprised you were able to convince Mato there to take you both with us."

"He seems like a good young man." Mato looked down at me.

"Perhaps we could get into the carriage now? It's quite chilly now that the sun has gone down." Mother spoke up to me.

"Your mother is right. It's for the best if we get moving as soon as we can." Mato spoke up to me, as he then opened the carriage door for us to get in.

My mother headed in immediately, with the both of our suitcases, and I was about to follow her, but a curious question grasped my attention.

"Hey Mato? What would you have done to me earlier, you know if I hadn't convinced you?" I asked curiously, thinking back on what Reed said about Mato "dealing with me".

"I would have fought you. When I would have won the fight I would have put a simple spell on you and your mother that would wipe the knowledge of Lavender Village from your minds." He explained to me. "You didn't think I was going to kill you right?" He asked quizzed.

"Oh, uh… No not at all!" I then frowned. "Hold on. What makes you think that you would have been able to beat me back there? You don't even know what magic I use!" I questioned Mato with a doubtful expression.

"Oh? I've been alive for years young man. I've been helping protect this Village since I was thirteen years old." He stated proudly. "I've been fighting for far longer than you have."

"I became a wizard at the age of 10." I replied back with a smirk. "Been going on jobs ever since."

"I wouldn't doubt Mato here kid. He's a real force to be reckoned with when he's serious." Reed commented as he got into the front of the carriage. "Now can we stop sizing each other up and get a move on?" He cried out with a sigh.

Mato gave a small smirk and looked down at me. "Another time then." He smiled as he went up to join Reed.

"Hopefully so." I said, as I got into the back of the carriage with my mother, and closed the door behind me.

As I did so, the carriage began to move forward, with our next destination being Lavender Village. Finally, after so many hold ups, we finally were heading to our main destination.

Behold! Another chapter done and written! Hope you enjoyed it! Be sure to leave a review on your thoughts.

In this chapter, we saw the journey that Cade and his mother took to try and get to Lavender Village. We also met the mysterious Mato who almost fought Cade there. I did consider having them fight here, but I decided to have Cade use his brain and decide to end the conflict before it even started.

Now that Cade and his mother are on their way to Lavender Village we will get to see why so many people are unaware of the Village's existence.

Now then, I do hope you enjoyed this chapter, and I hope to see you all in the next chapter!
