Chapter 4
Chapter 4: New Planet. New Allies.
Back in Duckburg things were not getting much better as the Empire continued to take over the city as civilians were running for an exit out of the city while the Duckburg police and military attempted to defend the civilians from their Empire's wrath but they were mostly no match for the Empire's ships and machines. Fenton Crackshell Cabrera also Known as Gizmoduck is fighting alongside Officer Cabrera, his mother in her Gizmo patrol uniform, his girlfriend Gandra Dee also in her Gizmo uniform, and Boyd Gyro's robotic child are doing their best to defend the citizens but appear to be over matched.
Gandra: These guys just never stop coming!
She said as tazed a nearby trooper with her electro hands.
Mma: We can't give up amigos! We need to protect the citizens!
She said as she noticed a nearby ship in the sky. She tries to shoot it down but the ship keeps closing in but when it gets close it explodes from a nearby shot. As Officer Cabera turns to see that it was his son Fenton that made the shot.
Mma: Not bad at all, Polito.
She said feeling relieved.
Fenton: You can thank me later but right now we still have a large wave to deal with.
He as a nearby trop was about to fire at him but his mother noticed in time to shoot the trooper down.
Fenton: Oh! Gracias! Mma!
Mma: You're welcome.
Nearby Gandra continued to fight off the troops but failed to notice that one was behind her as he was about to fire his blaster. When she noticed the troop he was about to fire the shot but was struck down by a nearby laser beam. When she turned it was Boyd that saved her with his laser eyes.
Gandra: Thanks for that.
She said to Boyd.
Boyd: No problem. Anything to help out those close to my friends.
He told her as they kept fighting but then noticed a giant machine coming their way they group tried to fire their weapons at it but all their shots were deflected by the machines. The group can just stare at complete shock.
Fenton: Oh Blatherstrike!
He said as the machine started to fire at them as a big wave of troops and ships started to follow suit.
Mma: Move back! Move back!
She said as the group quickly ran behind a large building out of the Empire's view.
Gandra: Who the hell are those guys! And what do they want from us!
Mma: Right now I'm thinking of the same thing about those Diablos! We barely stand a chance!
Fenton: We need to find Dr Gearloose! Hopefully he's with some of our allies!
Boyd: Well from what I heard Dr Gaerloose told me to meet up with him in a location not far from where we are now.
Fenton: Well what are we waiting for then! Let's go! Lead the way Boyd!
He said as he along with his mother and girlfriend followed the robot boy out of the city.
Meanwhile Scrooge started to wake and the first thing he noticed was that was not in the ship anymore but instead was in an unusual bed room. He then took off the covers of the bed he was laying on and noticed he was only wearing his undershirt and his left arm had a cast wrapped around it. He then noticed a small mirror on a nearby nightstand and picked up.
When He did all he could do was look at his reflection in complete shock as he noticed a scar at the area of his left eye with its color being completely grey.
Scrooge: Curse me kilts! What in the blazes happened to me!
He said as he touched the scare with his right hand. As he did the door slid open to reveal a young man with long dark blond hair.
?: Oh Hey! It appears that you are finally up sir.
He said as he entered the room.
Scrooge: What is this place and you are you?
He asked as he backed away a bit.
?: Hey! Easy! Easy!
He said as he put his hands up forward before continuing.
?: Look I'm not going to hurt you ok! I saw the space wreck from my home and I along with my Aunt and Uncle brought you to our home for treatment after we decided to take a closer look. It's a good thing to see that you are alive and managed to survive a crash that bad sir.
He said before Scrooge gasped with heavy concern as he just remembered the crash and worried about his Family.
Scrooge: MY FAMILY! Were there any other survivors sir!
He said growing more worried.
?: It's alright sir, you're not just the only survivor. We actually have more than a few here.
He told him.
Scrooge: How many people died in the wreak?
He asked, still feeling worried.
?: Well at least four people from the wreck didn't make it from what I believe.
Scrooge: Who were they?
?: Well the four people that appeared to be controlling the ship but everyone else appears to be ok.
He as Scrooge felt very strong relief to know that nobody in his family was dead.
Scrooge: Ahhh! Thank goodness! My family is ok. Thank you sir for you and your folks for saving us! Can I see them?
He asked.
?: Sure but you might need help.
He said as he helped the rich elder duck out of bed.
Scrooge: You have a name sir?
He asked.
Luke: The Name is Luke. Luke Skywalker.
Scrooge: It's a pleasure to meet you Luke. I'm Scrooge. Scrooge Mcduck.
Luke: Well It's great to meet you Scrooge! Your family already told me a lot about you.
Scrooge: Really?
Luke: Yeah really! They should be in the main room with my Aunt and Uncle. They are quite concerned about you.
He said as they both left the room.
As Luke carried Scrooge to the main where his family is. When He noticed them he couldn't help but notice they suffered some blows as well from the crash.
Donald had his wrapped around with bandages along with losing his sailor hat, his right eye is swollen purple, parts of sailor suit have torn off, a bandage is seen on the left side of his torso, his right hand is also wrapped around in bandages, and bandages with being wrapped around his right ankle.
He is comforting his girlfriend Daisy who is currently lying asleep on his body. She has a few bruises on her face with her right arm in a cast, part of her pink dress torn off, a big purple bruise can be seen on her right side of her body, and a few bruises are seen on her legs.
Della is seen without her pilot hat along with jacket. While she is holding a pad on her head, she has bruises on both of her arms, her shorts have been torn apart a bit, and a bandage is wrapped around her non robotic knee.
Huey is seen without his red hat while part of his face is bruised up, and a bandage is placed around his right elbow.
Louie is seen without his green sweatshirt, the bottom of his body is bruised up, his left arm is in a cast, and his left ankle is in a bandage.
May is also wearing a cast on her left arm, her dress is torn apart a bit, and her legs have a few bruises.
June also has her dress ripped apart, has a few bruises around her arms, and her left is wrapped in bandages.
Penumbra is seen without her helmet along with the top of her moon uniform. She has a scratch on her left cheek, a bandage on her left elbow, a bruise on the right side of her body, and her pants are torn apart a bit.
Launchpad is seen without his hat and jacket. He has a bandage wrapped around his head. a scratch is seen on the left side of his body, and both sides of his pants that cover his knees are torn off.
Beakley is then seen without her glasses and her lavender sweatshirt. She has bandages on both of her arms, Her undershirt has a few tears, with a scratch on her right side, and her pantie hoes also had some large tears with bruises showing on her legs.
The only one that had no scratch was Duckworth but hes a ghost of course.
The group then noticed Scrooge's presence.
Penumbra: Look who finally decides to wake up!
Duckworth: It's a great pleasure to see that you finally decided to join us sir.
Della: We started to get extremely worried about you Uncle Scrooge.
Scrooge: Well I'm really sorry to hear your concerns.
Louie: We were all concerned about you!
Scrooge: Well Yes all of you guys as well. Luke can let me go. I think I can walk.
Luke: Are you sure?
He asked him.
Scrooge: Definitely!
He said as Luke let go of the eldered Duck and sat at a nearby set. As he did he noticed a much older male and female person.
Luke: Oh I nearly forgot! This is Owen and Beru, my uncle and aunt.
He said as he introduced Scrooge to Owen and Beru.
Scrooge: Well it's a great pleasure to meet you lads.
Beru: It's great to meet you as well.
Owen: Same with me. You were out for a while.
Scrooge: How long was I out?
He asked.
Luke: For at least 6 to 7 hours.
May: Since you were resting we managed to learn where we are.
June: Yeah! You guys call this planet Tatooine?
She asked.
Owen: Yes you are on the planet Tatooine, one of the hottest and driest planets in the universe.
Launchpad: I've never really heard of the planet before.
Huey: Yeah same with me. Especially for someone that has managed to learn a lot about the universe.
Donald: I'm guessing we're very far away from our home then?
He asked.
Owen: With you guys being from a planet we never heard of. Apparently Yes.
Daisy: Well that is extremely wonderful news we wanted to hear.
She said as she woke up.
Beru: Well since you guys had quite a rough day I guess you are all hungry.
She said as the whole Duck gang looked at each other.
Luke: Aunt Beru, since they all came from another planet I don't think they would like our type of food.
Owen: We will just give it a try Luke. Now can you come and please help us?
Luke: Yes Uncle Owen.
Beakley: Well if you guys want I can come and help out.
Duckworth: Same with me!
They said as they both stood up.
Beru: Naw! That's ok. Besides you guys had a rough day and it's best if you all sit down and relax.
She said as she and Luke entered the kitchen.
Owen: When we are done be sure you all wash your hands!
He said as he also entered the kitchen to help out.
Not long after the Duck family was sitting at the table with Luke, Owen, and Beru as they were served food that they had never seen or heard of before, which resulted in almost the entire family having difficulty eating the food they were being served.
Owen: I'm guessing you guys aren't really enjoying our food?
He asked as the Duck family rarely touched a thing on their food.
Louie: Are you kidding! This stuff is great!
He said as he took a bite of his soup but his face grew green when he started tasting it but he managed to swallow it down his throat.
Louie: That was delicious!
He said lying.
Daisy: Look, we don't really like it ok! We just don't want to hurt your guy's feelings because you have already done so much for us when we crashed here.
She said as she apologized.
Beru: Don't be Daisy! We understand! Trying to get used to a much different planet and environment is difficult to get used to.
Della, Launchpad, and Penumbra aren't having difficulty eating the food at all.
Penumbra: I don't really have any issue. Me and my fellow Moon Landers have food similar to this all the time.
Della: Same goes with me.
She said in agreement.
Launchpad: I just like anything I've been served.
He said as he managed to finish his whole plate.
Owen: So Scrooge from what your family told us, back on your planet you are known as the richest duck in the world.
He asked.
Scrooge: That is correct Owen. Indeed I am.
Luke: They also said you're over 150 years old?
He asked.
Scrooge: You are also correct Luke.
Luke: That's quite impressive! I never thought that was possible!
Huey: As crazy as it sounds, it's true!
Luke: I also can't believe you guys have a ghost as your butler.
He said as he looked at Duckworth.
Duckworth: I am a ghost indeed.
He told him.
Luke: Is it also true that you and your family thought against a Magical Sorceress, an Alien Tyrant, and an Evil Organization that attempted to put an end to all global adventures?
He continued asking.
Scrooge: Yes we did.
Donald: All thanks to the strength from our family and friends.
Beru: Wow! You are all full of spirits.
Beakley: What else can we say! We are more than just an ordinary family.
Luke: I really wish that I can go on some similar adventures.
He said with a low down voice.
Owen: Aww! Don't be down on yourself Luke! It's not like you're stuck here all the time.
He said as he tried to cheer Luke up.
Luke: How can you say that. We don't have a life like them! Just look at them! Their lives are just fun, extraordinary, and filled with excitement! As for us, our lives are just plain and boring! All I just do is help you guys around here and on the few times when I'm out it is just getting favors done for you guys.
Beru: Don't be like that Luke! You're more than just that!
Luke: Really! How can you tell! How can you really tell I'm then just plain and boring!
Beru: Well...
She said as she was having trouble putting words together.
Luke: Well what?
He asked.
Beru: I don't really know.
Luke: You don't know! You don't know and that's your answer!
Owen: Luke, that is not how to talk in front of our guests!
Luke: Well I'm sorry that I never get to do anything in my life and that you guys have barely talked about my parents to me! Now will you excuse me? I'm gonna go up to my room!
He said as he left the table.
May: Wow I wonder what was that all about?
She asked.
June: I'm not sure but it appears to be their own form of family drama.
Owen: We're really sorry about Luke's behavior.
Beru: We are. Are you guys done with your food?
She asked.
Beakley: I think so. How about we start cleaning up.
She said as she started clearing her plate.
Scrooge: Yeah but this time we're helping out. These people did so much to help us today.
Donald: Same goes with you boys and girls.
He said as he had his eyes on Huey, Louie, May, and June as the four of them along with everyone else started to clear their plates.
Not long after, Huey and Louie went into Lukes bedroom as he was looking at the night sky through his window.
Huey: Hey!
He said as he got Lukes attention.
Luke: What do you guys want?
He asked them.
Louie: Just came to check to see how you were doing.
Luke: I'm doing fine. I'm sorry for being rude at the table in front of you guys.
Louie: Well it's not our first time being involved in family drama.
Luke: Well it's just you guys appeared to be such a great family and always do insane stuff with each other and have fun doing so. And look at me stuck here growing up with my Aunt and Uncle with little knowledge about my parents. Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru just told me they died at my birth.
Huey: It's ok Luke we understand what you're talking about and how it feels because we were in a similar situation as well.
Luke: How come?
He asked.
Louie: It's just we also grew up without our parents as well.
Luke: Really how come?
He asked.
Huey: We didn't know much about our dad but before we were even born our Uncle Scrooge built our mother a rocket called "The Spear of Selene" but all thanks to that Pesky Deceitful Buzzard! He had the audacity to tell our Mom about it and manipulated her in taking it because he wanted to deliberately rip our family apart.
He said in anger as he stopped his foot to the ground.
Luke: So your Mom did take that ship in space?
He asked.
Louie: Yes she did and got lost in space because of a cosmic storm. All thanks to her disappearance but after she got lost our Uncles were no longer on speaking terms and Scrooge spent millions on a search project to find her but was unsuccessful to the point he almost became bankrupt.
Luke: Bankrupt?
He said in surprise.
Louie: Yes and his board of directors who were responsible for her being lost in the first place, is space pulled the plug permanently on the search project.
Luke: I'm really sorry to hear that you guys grew up without your parents as well.
Huey: Well thankfully our Uncles did manage to reconcile, our mother eventually came back from space and our family stronger than ever.
Luke: Well it's great to hear that your family got back together.
Louie: Yeah but our Brother Dewey and Webby are still lost in space though.
Luke: Yeah! I hope you will find them soon. I mean escaping the Empire is not an easy task.
Huey: Yeah and I'm worried about them.
He said as he grew a bit nervous.
Louie: They've been in these situations before! I'm pretty sure they can handle it.
Huey: I really hope so.
He said as he felt a bit better.
Luke: I hope so too. How about let's get to bed. It's been a long day.
He said as they went to get ready for bed.
