To Fickleness 16: To answer your question you gave me from the last chapter I was thinking of depending how far I get I was thinking of doing the whole trilogy if I have the chance to do so and keep up with this story.
Chapter 5
New Cell Mate and New Bots
Outside of Duckburg Fenton, Officer Cabrara, Gandra, and Boyd made their way out of town and are trying to get as far away from the invaded city to meet up with Gyro. Boyd is flying while using his rocket leg while Gandra and Mma were riding on Fenton's gizmo suit.
Mma: How much further do we have?
Boyd: We should almost be there!
Boyd said as he continues to lead the three to the location where Gyro told them to meet him at.
Gandra: I really hope that we can at least meet up with some of our allies. It would suck if it's just us.
Fenton: I'm with you, Gandra. I really hope that Mr Mcduck and his family are alright. They would know what to do.
Fenton said in agreement.
Boyd: Ok this should be it.
He said as Boyd dropped back down to his feet at a nearby bench and light post.
Fenton: So this is it?
He asked him.
Boyd: It's what he told me.
Gandra: Then where is he?
She asked as she looked around for Gyro.
Mma: Should he be here by now?
She asked as the group then heard some heavy thumping nearby.
Fenton: Oh no!
Gandra: Ahh! What's that?
She asked in concern.
Mma: This is really maul!
She said as the group noticed a large robot slowly coming in their direction.
Gandra: Well that's just great!
She said sarcastically.
As the group then noticed someone trying to run from the machine.
Fenton: Is that Dr Gearloose?
He asked when the group took a closer look they noticed a familiar thin male chicken was running from it.
Boyd: Oh no! It is!
He said horrified.
Mma: We have to help him!
She said as the group was about to make their way down but before they did a shot fired at Dr Gearloose and when it touched the ground the shot exploded seemingly killing Gyro as a burned site with smoke remained.. The machine then moved the other direction
Boyd: No! Dr Gearloose!
He said even more horrified as he tried to get close to the blast site but Fenton managed to hold him back. Boyd then started to cry as Fenton, Gandra, and Mma confronted him.
Fenton: We are so sorry Boyd.
Gendra: He really didn't deserve to die.
Mma: We'll avenge him. I promise.
They continued to comfort the sad robot boy but unbeknownst to them Gyro came out of the nearby bushes and approached the group but as he touched Gandra's the group can only scream in horror but surprised to see Dr Gearloose still alive.
Gyro: Surprise! I'm still alive!
He said, trying to relieve the group.
Gandra: Will you stop doing that!
She said as she angrily punched his arm.
Gyro: OW! Well ok! I'm really sorry that I got you all worried.
Mma: Well Si! We thought you died.
Gyro: That was a clone that got shot over there!
Fenton: Oh yeah! That's right! I remember now.
He said remembering his clone invention that he used during the moon invasion.
Gyro: Again, I'm really sorry that got you all worried.
He said as Boyd hugged his legs.
Boyd: Thank goodness you're still alive! I really thought you were dead. I nearly had a huge breakdown.
He told him as he was still in tears.
Gyro: Well I didn't mean to make you feel that way.
He said as he hugged the robot child back.
Gandra: Well this is cut and all but do you guys remember that we are being attacked and are outnumbered.
She said as Gyro and Boyd released their embrace.
Mma: She's right we need to think of something and fast.
Fenton: Yeah! Did you manage to find Mr Mcduck and his family?
He asked as Gyro had a nervous look on his face.
Gyro: Yeah about them!
He said as he scratched his back and continued.
Gyro: They got captured.
All four: What!
They all said in surprise.
Gandra: They got captured! How?
She asked him.
Gyro: Apparently these invaders managed to have help on their side to capture them which is not good news at all.
Boyd: So if Mr Mcduck got captured then that means Huey along with his brothers are captured as well?
He asked in concern.
Gyro: I'm afraid so Boyd.
He said as the robot boy started to cry again.
Mma: Who had the ability to capture Senor` Mcduck's entire familia?
She asked as Gyro was growing more nervous.
Gyro: The alien general that led the moon invasion.
He said which shocked the entire gang.
Fenton: General Lunaris was behind this!
Gyro: You are correct Dr. Intern.
Gandra: That's just great! This whole situation had gone from bad to worse! What are we supposed to do now with the whole Mcduck family captured!
Fenton: Well we can find out where these guys took them! Right Dr Gearloose?
He asked.
Gyro: I'm afraid not because the family were imprisoned on two different space ships.
He said as the gang were further dismayed.
Boyd: So that means they are nowhere to be found on this planet! Now what are we going to do?
He asked as he started to grow more overwhelmed.
Mma: I think the plan is clear. We need to search for more of our allies and hope they aren't captured yet.
Fenton: I agree! We should go now before the invaders find us!
As he said that a group of stormtroopers managed to surround them.
Mma: Oh no!
Boyd: Crap!
Gandra: Oh great!
Fenton and Gyro: Ahh Blatherstrike!
Trooper: Don't move!
Trooper 2: Stay where you are!
Trooper 3: Stand down or we will fire upon you!
The five tried to fight but the troopers fired their stun blasters at the group before they had the chance and dropped to the ground screaming in pain as the stormtroopers closed in.
Before the troopers have a chance to capture them nearby a familiar demon horse came out of the bushes with a small female hummingbird along with a small live lightbulb, riding it and managed to get the stormtroopers' attention.
The troopers tried to fire their blasters at the horse as it started to quickly approach them but their weapons got taken from a purple magical source and transformed into bubbles. As the troopers stood in surprise and shock the horse and hummingbird approached them the horse gave a loud demon scream at the stormtroopers and they ended up running away in fear and as they did teenage duck with dark pink light pink emo hair and wearing a goth attire also made her appearance.
?: Yeah that's it!
?: You all keep running away like a bunch of pussies.
They said as they turned their attention to the group of five to reveal themselves as Manny the demon horse, Lil Bulb Gyros little lightbulb robot and the Sabrewing sisters Lena and Violet.
Gyro: Manny! Sabrewing sisters! Thank you so much for rescuing us.
Fenton: Yeah! You couldn't have picked a better time to save us!
He said as he along with his group got back on his feet.
Violet: It's no problem.
Lena: You guys can thank us any time.
Fenton: I'm assuming you ended up running into them Manny.
Manny: Yes indeed! While I was running to find help as well!
Lena: From what we heard not from far away is that the Mcduck family got captured from these invaders?
Violet: And the alien general that led the moon invasion is helping them out?
They both asked in concern.
Gandra: Unfortunately yes.
Lena: Oh no! Not them too!
Violet: I'm afraid that is true Lena. First our fathers and now them.
Manny: Don't be down on yourselves girls we are still not caught yet, which means we still have a chance to save everyone.
Boyd: But there's a big problem! Aside from the Mcduck family we don't know where they are taking everyone and where they can even go to avoid these invaders from capturing us.
Mma: Si! We need to have a plan in place and quickly since more of these Diablos would be coming any moment now.
Then Gyro noticed his phone was ringing. Then Fenton, Gandra, and Mma also got a call from their Gizmo suits. Boyd was also getting a message in his robot system. All five were a bit hesitant to answer but they did anyway.
Gyro: Hello?
?: Hello Dr Gearloose, Gizmoduck, Gizmochick, Gizmo Patrol Officer, Boyd, and everyone else. You may not remember or know me but I know all of you. If you and your allies want to stay alive you need to listen to me and trust me.
Gendra: Who the hell are you?
She asked the caller.
?: For now, call me a friend. Listen, a large group of troops, small and large machines are coming in your direction! If you go north that would be your quickest escape route. Then you will need to go further east. Got it?
He asked.
Fenton: Hold on! How do we know if you are someone that can be trusted and you won't just turn us in?
He asked, feeling very unsure about the caller.
?: If I was, I would not be calling you right now! If you want to avoid capture then you will all need to listen to my instructions! Got it!
He asked.
Fenton: Got it! We're moving now.
Gyro: Follow us Girls, Lil bulb, and Manny! We're heading north.
He said as the entire group started to go into the caller's direction.
Lena: I really have a bad feeling about this Vi!
Violet: I feel the same way sis! I'm sensing that this is going to be a trap.
Manny: Let's just wait and see what happens girls! For now, we need to further escape the invaders from capturing us.
He as the group continued to escape the empire from catching them.
Meanwhile back on the main star destroyer Dewey and Webby were still locked up in their cell sleeping until they woke up noticing their cell door opening. When it did it revealed a troop imprisoning a young human female who is at least in her twenties, with a bun hair style, and is dressed in white.
Trooper: Enjoy your new cellmates, Rebelscum!
He rudely said before closing the cell doors.
?: What cellmates!
She asked the guard in frustration as the doors slid closed. The woman then noticed the two small ducklings in her cell and was completely surprised that she was sharing a cell with two children.
?: Oh! I never really expected that I would be sharing a cell, especially with children.
Webby: We never thought the same thing as well.
Dewey: We don't even understand why we got captured either and why we have to now share a cell with someone else.
?: I guess they did so for us to leak information to each other.
Webby: Why would they want to do that?
Dewey: Yeah! We have just barely met you, miss.
?: Because the empire is always after information even from people that just met because anyone can be hiding something from the Empire that they don't know about and are willing to make sure that they get all the information they need that they consider to be necessary. Since I just managed to meet you two it is best that I share very little about myself and I know little about you two.
Webby: Well I guess that is understandable due to the situation that we are in.
Dewey: I guess maybe it won't hurt if we know our names since we just met, right?
He asked the woman.
?: I guess that would be ok if I do know both of your names.
She answered.
Dewey: I guess we could go first then, My name is Dewford Turbo Dingus Duck but you can call me Dewey for short.
He introduced himself.
Webby: My name is Webbigail April Vanderquack Mcduck but you can call me Webby for short.
She introduced herself.
?: Well it's great to meet both of you Dewey and Webby. My name is Leia. Princess Leia.
The woman said while introducing herself.
Webby: Wow! You're a Princess! From where?
She asked.
Leia: It's best that I really don't tell you more because I fear for my people on my planet right now.
Dewey: Do they know where you are from?
He asked but before She could explain the ship started to shake for about a minute or two causing them to fall on the floor.
When the shaking stopped the three of them got back on their feet and when they did the doors opened again revealing two troops standing at the entrance.
Trooper 1: Alright prisoners, we have arrived at your location.
He said as Leia, Dewey, and Webby are escorted out of the star destroyer and into a large space station. Webby and Dewey can only be in shock to where they currently are as they have never seen a space station that large.
Dewey: I really don't like this scene at all!
Webby: Where the hell are now! What is this place?
She asked as the two ducks grew more afraid then before.
Leia: We are at the Empire's largest known space station, The Deathstar!
She said as she and the two ducks continued being escorted by the troops.
Back on Tatooine the rest of the Duck family are still currently staying at the home of Owen, Beru, and Luke until they are fully recovered and managed to find a way out of the planet. They along with the residents were helping them out with their work and house chores until they noticed a large ship had parked near the house.
Huey: Whoa! Would you look at the size of that thing!
Louie: I can, that is the largest ship I have ever seen.
Launchpad: It's even bigger than the Cloudslayer.
Della: What the hell is that thing?
She asked.
Luke: It's a Sandcrawler.
Daisy: What is inside it?
Owen: Planet creatures called Jawas that sell droids they managed to find in the middle of nowhere.
Huey: So they sell droids on that ship. That sounds pretty cool! Is it ok if I take a look at them, Mom and Uncle Donald?
Mom: Sure you can sweetie.
Donald: But don't touch anything!
They told him.
Huey: Sure thing.
Louie: I'm going as well to take a break from doing these countless chores.
May: I would also like to see some of these droids.
June: Same with me.
Daisy: Ok then! Have fun girls.
She said as the twin girls said as they joined Huey and Louie.
Beru: Luke, tell Owen that if he gets a translator to be sure it speaks Bocce.
Luke: It looks like we don't have much of a choice but I'll remind him.
He said as he joined his Uncle.
Launchpad: What does Bocce mean?
He asked.
Beru: It's the language we consider speaking on this planet Launchpad.
Launchpad: Now it makes much more sense.
Della then meets up with Penumbra who was sitting nearby staring at the sun.
Della: Hey roomie! How are you feeling?
She asked as she took notice of her presence.
Penumbra: I feel very terrible about myself and very worried right now about my fellow moon people, especially Gibbons and Zenith with no way to get back to Earth.
She said in guilt and continued.
Penumbra: Even though we haven't been here for long I'm worried that Lunaris and his new allies have already captured or killed them already and I wasn't there to save them.
Della: Aww! Don't talk down on yourself Penny!I know that you are better than this! I would also admit that I'm really worried about them too but we can't give up on ourselves. We all have been in difficult situations before in the past but no matter how difficult it was we always found a way out because we all never gave up on eachother.
Penumbra: Well that is great to know but what does it have to do with me fellow people?
She asked.
Della: Because I know how tough our fellow moon friends are, they are just as tough as our other allies and I know they can find a way through this difficult situation that is going on back on Earth. All we could hope for is that they aren't captured and are still alive.
Penumbra: Well I guess it does make me feel a bit better Della. I really do hope that is the current case. Thanks Della!
Della: You are so welcome.
She said as the two of them hugged each other but Penny hugged Della a bit too tight.
Della: You're hugging a little too tight.
She told her.
Penumbra: Oh! Sorry!
She said as she immediately let go.
Inside Scrooge was lying on the couch staring at the ceiling lost in his own train of thought until it was interrupted by the presence of Beakley and Duckworth.
Duckworth: There you are sir. We were wondering where you have gone too.
Scrooge: Well I'm right lying on the couch staring at the ceiling! Struggling to think of a way to get off this blasted planet and finding out where my Daughter and my Blue Grand Nephew are.
Beakley: Well we aren't fans of being stuck on this planet either but us getting off is going to take us some time and all we could just do is wait until the time is right.
Scrooge: But what if at that point that time comes too late and everyone we know are either dead or captured in places we don't know about and also failing to become the father Webbigail expected me to be.
He said in guilt.
Duckworth: Well this is certainly not coming from the Scrooge Mcduck I know.
Beakley: I agree with Duckworth you are starting to talk down more on yourself since the time where we all thought Della was gone from us forever and how Donald left you with the boys as a result..
Scrooge: Please don't remind me.
Beackly: Well I'm sorry that I'm trying to light some sense in you! We aren't going to be stuck forever on this planet you know!
Scrooge: But what if we are since this planet is mostly deserted and there isn't a nearby town in miles!
He said as he sat up a bit.
Beakley: We can't give up! Our allies, your family, grand nephew, and your daughter are not just counting on us but you as well. I know we will find a way off this planet. If it will make you feel better we can ask the residents where the nearby shuttle area is to get us off this planet and from there we will plan our rescue on Dewey and Webby so we can also plan a way to take our planet back.
Duckworth: That is quite a lot of planning we would have in place.
Scrooge: Well I guess it will. Is everyone else outside?
He asked as he got up.
Beakley: It looks like it and they are a bit worried about you.
Scrooge: Well I'm going to see how everyone is doing right now.
He said as the three of them walked back outside.
Back on the ship Huey, Louie, May, and June continue to look around the ship at the droids that the Jawas have in storage and all Huey can do is look around in amazement.
Huey: Wow I just can't believe how many droids that these guys have in storage. If Gyro and Fenton where they probably would be either amazed or jealous.
Louie: Oh Yeah! You're getting so excited while looking at a bunch of old and outdated droids! I don't really understand how they can manage to make a profit by selling these.
May: It does appear that they came from other places if that is really the case.
June: Yeah these droids were pretty much discovered out of nowhere.
Louie: We can just be here all day but should go check to see if Luke and Owen are done. I think at this point they found some of these droids they are interested in.
Huey: Well since you brought that up I guess we will go do that since you are not really interested.
Louie: Well I'm sorry if I just expected more.
He said as the four of them exited the ship and noticed that Luke and Owen did in fact make a deal for two different droids. One was a large golden one that appeared to be the same form of a human and the other one was a small one with blue, white, and silver colors. As Owen was busey paying off the Jawas, Luke along with the two purchased Droids were walking back towards the residence.
As they did, Huey decided to follow them.
Louie: Huey where are you going?
Huey: To check out the droids they purchased.
Louie: Did you look at enough droids?
He asked.
Huey: Well I didn't get the chance to see those ones yet.
He said as he continued to walk Lukes direction.
May: I want to see them too!
June: I'm coming as well.
They both said as they joined Huey.
Louie: I might as well join too.
He said as he ran to catch up with the group.
The four of them followed the three to the main garage and when they entered it they noticed that the large droid was in what appeared to be a tub of oil, while the small droid appeared to be charging himself.
?: Thank the maker! This oil bath is going to feel so good. I've got such a bad case of dust contamination. I can barely move!
The droid told Luke as he appeared to be depressed.
Luke: It just isn't fair. Oh, Briggs is right. I'm never gonna get out of here.
?: Is there anything I might do to help?
The droid asked him.
Luke: Well, not unless you can alter time, speed up the harvest, or teleport me off this rock!
Luke told him in frustration.
?: I don't think so sir. I'm only a droid and not very knowledgeable about such on this planet, anyways. As a matter of fact, I'm not even sure which planet I'm on.
Luke: Well, if there's a bright center to the universe, you're on the planet that it's furthest away from.
Huey: Hey Luke!
He said getting Lukes attention as he noticed Huey, Louie, May, and June coming in the garage.
Luke: Oh Hey! What do you guys want?
He asked them.
May: We just decided if we can have a look at the droids you guys got?
She asked.
Luke: Well you guys can go right ahead.
June: Why thank you very much Luke!
Luke: You're welcome.
He said as the four Ducks took a look at the two droids.
Huey: I'm just very amazed! I have never seen any droids like these before!
He said as he looked at the smaller droid.
Louie: Well they appear to be in better shape unlike the other dumped out ones.
?: Why of course young ones because me and my fellow droid companion have no idea what type of planet we are even on.
Louie: Well to answer your question you are both on the planet Tatoinne! As for us we were not originally from here as well.
Louie told him.
Luke: Yeah they ended up crashing here yesterday with their family and me along with my Aunt and Uncle ended up helping them out.
Luke told the droid.
?: I see, sir.
Luke: Uh! You can call me Luke.
?: I see, sir Luke!
Luke: Just Luke.
He said laughing.
?: And I am C-3P0, Human Cyborg Relations, and this is my companion R2D2.
The droid said introducing himself along with his counterpart as he beeped in response. Luke then got up to unplug R2 as C-3PO turned his attention.
Huey: Well I'm Huey, this is my brother Louie, and these are our sisters May and June.
He told C-3PO in an introduction.
C-3PO: Well it is a really great pleasure to meet all of you as well.
Luke then unplugs R2 and when he does he starts to scrape several connections on the robot's head with a chrome pick. 3P0 then made his exit out of the tube.
Luke: You got a lot of carbon scoring here. It looks like you boys have seen a lot of action.
C-3PO: With all we've been through, sometimes I'm amazedI'm amazed we're in as good conditions as we are, what with the Rebellion and all.
He said much to Luke's surprise.
Louie: The Rebellion?
He asked in confusion.
Luke: You know of the Rebellion against the Empire?
He asked the large droid.
May: There's a resistance fighting against the Empire?
She asked.
C-3PO- That's how we came to be in your service, if you take my meaning, sir.
Luke: Have you been in many battles?
He asked in interest.
C-3PO: Several, I think.
Huey: What type of battles?
He asked.
C-3P0: Actually, there's not much to tell. I'm not much more than an interpreter, and not very good at telling stories. Well, not at making them interesting, anyways.
Louie: So you don't recall knowing where our brother Dewey is held?
June: Or where our sister Webby is?
They asked in concern.
C-3PO: I'm afraid not young ones.
He told them much to their dismay while Luke was struggling to remove a small fragment from R2.
Luke: Well, my little friend, you've got something jammed in here good. Were you on a cruiser or..
He said as the fragment breaks revealing what appeared to be a Hologram message from Princess Leia.
Leia: Help me, Obi- Wan Kenobi. You're my only hope.
She said as the Hologram message repeats itself.
Luke: What's this?
He asked.
C-3PO: What is what? He asked you a question... What is that?
He asked his droid counterpart while pointing the message as R2 beeped in response.
Huey: It appears to be some type of space message. But from whom?
Louie: Who the hell is Obi-Wan Kenobi?
May: The real question is who is she?
June: Yeah and it appears she's in some type of danger.
3-3PO: Ho, he says it's nothing sir. Merely a malfunction. Old data. Pay no mind.
He told them.
Luke: Who is she? She's beautiful!
He said as he appeared to fall for the girl.
Louie: Eww! Gross! Why would you say that you don't even know who she is!
He said in discuse.
Huey: Louie, would you stop it!
He told him before continuing.
Huey: Luke does have a point, who is she 3PO?
He asked the droid.
C-3PO: I'm afraid I'm not quite sure.
May: Well are you 100% sure?
She asked.
June: You have to at least have to have some knowledge on who she is! Since you and your other droid buddies are companions with each other.
C-3PO: I think she was a passenger on our last voyage. A person of some importance, sir- I believe. Our captain was attracted to...
Before the droid could finish Luke reached for the fragment again.
Luke: Is there more to the recording?
He asked but as he reached out for the fragment the small droid squeaks in panic.
C-3PO: Behave yourself R2! You're going to get us in trouble! It's alright, you can trust him. He's our new master.
He told the small droid as it started to beep out a long message.
Louie: Hello! What about us!
C-3PO: Yes you four can also be trusted as well.
He told the four ducks and continued to listen to his counterpart.
C-3PO: He says, the restraining bolt has short circuited his recording system. He suggests that if you remove the bolt , he might be able to play back the entire recording.
The large Droid told Luke.H'm? Oh, yeah, well, I guess you're too small to run away on me if I take this off! Ok.
Luke said as he took the blot off R2's side but as he did the Hologram message disappeared.
Huey: Ahh! I think you just turned it off Luke.
Luke: Well, wait a minute. Where'd she go? Bring her back! Play back the entire message.
C-3PO: What message? The one you're carrying inside your rusty innards!
The tall droid says but before anyone else can speak they hear three different female voices.
Beru: Luke!
Della: Boys!
Daisy: Girls!
Beru: Come to dinner!
Luke: All right, I'll be right there, Aunt Beru.
Huey: Same with me and Louie, Mom!
June: Same with us as well, Daisy!
They said as Luke placed the Hologram message on the workbench and he along with the four Ducks left the garage.
Louie: What was that all about?
He asked in confusion.
May: I don't really know what to really say Louie.
June: I can say the same thing.
Louie: What do you think just happened Huey?
He asked his brother as he was put out of his train of thought.
Huey: I'm not really sure either but something is telling me that lady that was in that might be the key to helping us find Dewey and Webby.
He told them.
May: How can you tell?
She asked as the four of them stopped.
Huey: Well we need to just ask these droids more questions about what happened on their last voyage and to ask them who this Obi-Wan guy is because there is a chance that Lady who was the message got captured by the Empire as well.
He told them.
June: Well how can you tell that the Empire is behind this.
Louie: Yeah! How could you be so sure about that Huey?
He asked.
Huey: Well who else could really think of since the Empire has taken over most of the universe.
May: Well I guess you do have a point there.
Huey: All I'm saying is if these droids had a run in with the Empire and this misstress did get captured by them then she might be where Dewey and Webby are.
Louie: That is great and all but what about that Obi-Wan guy she mentioned?
He asked.
Huey: I'm really too sure and he is going to be an even difficult piece to solve in the puzzle.
He said but before they could say anything else they heard a male voice.
Donald: Kid's you guys coming to eat?
He asked them.
Huey: Yeah! We will be there in just a sec Uncle Donald! Let's talk about this later!
He said as the four of them went inside to the main dining room to eat with Luke, Owen, Beru, and their family.
