Chapter 10: Seeking help from a rogue pilot.
Luke made his way back to the group and he noticed that they managed to make a bonfire for all the dead Jawas.
Everyone else then noticed his arrival and approached him when he exited his speeder. However they got concerned when they noticed Luke had a guilty and angered look on his face.
Luke: They're dead! My Aunt and Uncle are dead.
He said as everyone gasped in horror.
Huey: Just when we thought things can't get even worse.
Scrooge: We are really sorry to hear the news, lad.
Ben: There's nothing you could have done, Luke. Had you been there, you'd have been killed too and the droids along with the earthlings would be in the hands of the empire.
Louie: Well we can't just stand here, we have to do something!
Della: He's right, we have to fight back before they do the same to Dewey and Webby.
Donald: But how?
He asked as Luke looked at Ben.
Luke: I want to come with you to Alderaan. There's nothing here for me now. I want to learn the ways of the force and become a Jedi like my father.
He told Ben as he gave him a hesitant look in response.
Back on Earth in Duckburg things were getting worse as the Empire was building their new main stations of operations while many citizens that either tried to hide or rebel got captured.
At his new manor Lunariscan only watches in delight of how everything is going according to his plan until an empire chief enters.
Lunaris: Is there anything that you would like me to know about?
He asked.
Chief: Yes sir, but I'm afraid that it's not good news.
He said much to the annoyance of Lunaris.
Lunaris: What's the bad news then?
He also asked.
Chief: Well according to our reports the prison ship that held the Mcduck family never made it to its location.
He said much to Lunaris's shock.
Lunaris: WHAT!
Chief: They somehow managed to escape.
Lunaris: You know where they escaped to?
He asked in demand.
Chief: Well we are not sure at the moment.
Lunaris: Well I want it to be done as soon as possible because the Mcduck family are the only ones that can stop me! So I suggest you leave now!
Chief: Yes sir.
He said as he left the room.
Back on Tatooine the group made their way to a small town but noticed a group of troops nearby.
Scrooge: Well that's just great, more of those blasted snowmen people to deal with.
Huey: They probably know we're here!
He panicked.
Della: Don't panik sweetie. I think we have a plan.
Daisy: Hopefully we do because it seems we are closing in to them.
Beakley: Where the hell are should be the main question.
Ben: Mos Eisley Spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.
Penumbra: Well thanks captain obvious.
The troopers then approached the ship.
Trooper 1: How long have you had these droids?
Trooper 2: And which planet did they come from?
They both asked.
Luke: About three or four seasons.
Ben: They're for sale if you want them. As for these folks with us, we're giving them a ride here.
Trooper 1: Let me see you identification.
He said as Luke tried to find it and when he did Ben raises a hand at the troopers.
Ben: You don't need his identification.
He told the troopers.
Trooper 1: We don't need to see his identification.
Ben these are not the droids and people you are looking for.
Trooper1: These are not the droids and people we're looking for.
Ben: He can go about his business.
Trooper 1: You can go about his business.
Ben: Move along.
He told Luke as he moved his speeder into town while everyone stared at Ben with surprised and confused looks on their faces.
Before they could say anything a jama comes out of nowhere and fondles with the speeder.
C-3PO: I can't abide those jawas disgusting creatures.
He said as Luke stopped and got out of the speeder to handle the Jawa.
Luke: Go on, go on! I can't understand how we got by those troopers. I thought we were dead.
Huey: Yeah, I was scared that we were going to be caught again.
Duckworth: I would have scared them off.
Beackley: Then you would have gotten our cover blown.
Duckworth: Fair point, Bentina.
Donald: I noticed you waving your hands at them Ben. What was that about
He asked.
Ben: The Force can have a strong influence on the weak minded. You will find a powerful ally.
Scrooge: Scrooge: The force is what's it called. Seems interesting.
Luke: Do you really think we're going to find a pilot here that'll take us to Alderaan?
Della: As well as find my son?
Scrooge: Along with my Daughter?
Daisy: And: Take us home?
They all asked.
Ben: Well, most of the best freighter pilots can be found here, only watch your step. This place can be a little rough.
Luke: I'm ready for anything.
C-3PO Come along R-2.
Donald: Kids come on.
They all entered a nearby building but the Mcduck Clan didn't know it was a bar.
Barman: We don't serve their kind here!
He said as he noticed the group entering.
Luke: What?
He asked surprised.
Barman: Your droids! They'll have to wait outside. We don't want them here.
Louie: Well that is rude.
Barman: Same with the children! Those under 21 are also not allowed as well.
Della: Well sorry sir we didn't know.
The group then noticed several customers giving angry stares. Ben is talking to one of the nearby pirates.
Launchpad: Well this is awkward.
Luke: Listen, why don't you wait out by the speeder. We don't want any trouble.
He told 3PO while patting his shoulder.
C-3PO: I heartily agree sir.
Donald: Same with you guys.
He told the triplets, May and June.
H.D.L: Yes Uncle Donald.
M.J: Yes Donald.
Scrooge: Beakley and Duckworth can you keep an eye on them?
He asked.
Beakley With pleasure.
Duckworth: Will do.
They said as they walked out with the kids and droids. The remaining group then noticed Luke having issues with nearby customers one being a human the other being a strange alien.
Human: He doesn't like you.
Luke: I'm sorry.
Human: I don't like you either.
He said as his creature friend hissed at Luke.
Human: Don't insult us. You just watch yourself. We're wanted men. I have the death sentence in twelve systems.
Luke then gets a little nervous.
Luke: I'll be careful then.
Human: You'll be dead.
Della: Should we do something?
She asked.
Ben: Don't worry I'll handle it.
He said as he approached Luke.
Ben: This little one isn't worth the effort. Come let me buy you something...
Before he finished the creature threw Luke across the room.
Scrooge and the gang rushed to his aid.
Scrooge: Are you ok, lad?
He asked, helping Luke up.
Donald: Yeah, you took quite a hit.
Luke: I'm fine it could have been worse.
Luke said as he got back to his feet.
Barman: No blasters! No blasters!
The group then noticed the creature pointing his blaster at Ben.
Before he could pull the trigger, Ben sparked open his sword and swung it at the creature, slicing off its hand.
Ben then put his sword away and when he did he turned to the group and pointed to the direction of a hairy creature.
Ben: This is Chewbacca. He's the first mate on a ship that might suit our needs.
He said as the group followed and sat down with the hairy creature and a male that is at least between his thirties and forties.
Han: Han Solo. I'm captain of the Millennium Falcon.
Scrooge: Well it's great to meet you.
Han: Chewie here tells me you're looking for a passage to the Alderaan System.
Ben: Yes, indeed. If it's a fast shi[.
Han: Fast Ship? You've never heard of the Millennium Falcon?
He asked.
Donald: Millennium Falcon?
Launchpad: I know I haven't, what is it like?
Penumbra: Assuming that it is a fast ship?
They asked in confusion.
Han: It's the ship that made the kessel run in less than twelve parsecs!
Della: Yeah, that sounds amazing, but what makes us think you can out run the imperial ships?
She asked.
Han: Relax babe!
Della: Don't call me Babe!
Han: Well, I've outrun imperial starship[s, not the local bulk cruisers, mind you I'm talking about the big corellian ships now. She's fast enough for you guys. What's the cargo?
He asked.
Scrooge: Well I won't consider it a cargo.
Ben: Only passengers. Myself, these folks along with their children, two droids, and no questions asked.
Han: Well that's quite a crowd and I didn't think you guys would also have children with you as well. What is it? Some kind of local trouble?
He also asked.
Donald: It's a long story.
Ben: Let's just say we'd like to avoid any imperial entanglements.
Scrooge: My family are kinda on the run from them. We are not from here.
Han: I can tell you weren't old feathers.
Della: We could use a helping hand at a time like this.
Han: Well, that's the trick, isn't it? And it's going to cost you something extra. Ten thousand in advance.
He told them.
Luke: Ten thousand? We could almost buy our ship for that!
Han: But who's going to fly it kid? You!
He asked him.
Launchpad: I'm a pilot.
Della: Same with me but more superior.
Luke: Well you bet I could! I'm not such a bad pilot myself! We don't have to sit here and listen..
He said before Ben interrupted.
Ben: We haven't had that much with us, but we could buy you two thousand now, plus fifteen when we reach Alderann.
Han: Seventeen, huh! He said as he took a moment to think about it.
Han: Ok, you guys got yourself a ship. We'll leave as soon as you're ready. Docking bay Ninety Four.
Della: Are you sure we could trust him?
She asked Scrooge as they got up from the table.
ScroogeZ: Well I don't trust him either Ladee but we are desperate to get off this blasted planet.
Donald: So this is our best bet then?
He asked.
Scrooge: Precisely.
Penumbra: But where do we get the money?
She asked.
Scrooge: I will figure something out.
Della: We should inform the others about this.
Launchpad: Uhh, guys you should look!
He said pointing to a squad of imperial troops entering the bar and hid.
Della: Oh no! They might have got the kids.
She said feeling worried.
Scrooge: Let's hope not, I think Beakley and Duckworth have a plan in place.
Donald: What do we do?
He asked as Ben and Luke approached them.
Ben: Follow me.
He said as did just that by exiting the bar quietly before the imperial troops noticed.
