Hey everyone!
Better late than never, right? I'd meant to update last week but, as usual, life likes to keep throwing things at me and I forgot about updating. I'm surviving and slowly starting to get back into things again. I'm starting to remember why I love writing. I'm feeling closer to being able to update twice a month then I have done for a fair few months so that is something.
Thanks for sticking with me.
Lots of love,

A Wild Heart – Part 6:
Éowara headed back to her room to grab a few things before she headed out of the Tower and left the Citadel. She had made sure to grab a hooded cloak; her blonde hair would have given her away in mere seconds. The rumours had started the moment it was confirmed that Prince Faramir and Éowyn, Lady of Ithilien had entered through the Gates of the City and been greeted personally by the High King and Queen. Everyone was on the lookout for a sighting of the Prince and two Ladies of Ithilien.
Éowara moved slowly through the seven levels of the City, just wanting to blend in and not be noticed until she chose the moment. She now knew that she would be leaving the place she'd learnt to call a home to the Hall she grew up and then onto a land she barely knew to rebuild a city that would be the seat, once again, in Arnor. She was pleased that she was going to see her friends again but the thought of leaving Gondor and Rohan saddened her deeply if she thought about it for too long.
She heard someone speaking her name and she slipped behind a pillow to eavesdrop on what was being said.
"The Lady Éowara slipped into the City long before Prince Faramir and Lady Éowyn arrived," one said, "I cannot mistake those mischievous, twinkling eyes of Lady Éowara."
"I heard the King and Queen wish to include her in rebuilding certain Gondorian and Arnorian buildings," another said.
"Minas Morgul? Surely not. The King would never allow that to happen… would he?" a third added, "the evil that lives there… lived there…"
"Restoring Minas Ithil and the seat of Isildur would be something that could happen but the King would be foolish to think the evil there would be destroyed for good," the first said.
"He would be indeed," Éowara spoke from her hiding place, "I do fear that Minas Ithil has been lost forever but I do have an idea to restore the Tower of the Moon," she said before laughing softly and stepping out from her hiding place and pushing her hood back to reveal herself.
Everyone hurried to bow to her and she nodded.
"I will ignore that one of you spoke ill of the King," she said as she watched the citizens, "the King would like to restore Isildur's seat but I don't think it will be possible. Evil lingered too long there. I will be informing the King of that myself when I return to the Citadel."
"You've been there?" one person asked earning a nod from Éowara.
"Yes I have. I've been as far west as the borders of the Shire and Ered Luin," Éowara said, fully aware that she'd got a crowd of listeners gathering around her, "and yes I have been as far east as the Miguel Vale. It is a place full of evil and that is why I think that it cannot be saved," she said, "I have an idea that may restore the seat of Isildur and restore the former Capital but that is something that I need to discuss with the King," she said.
"Have you seen the Shire?" a small child asked and Éowara smiled.
"I have… but from a distance. The King has forbidden full grown men from entering the Shire so I cannot go to the land on my friends no matter how much I yearn to," she said as she looked at the child who'd asked the question.
There was a whisper spreading through the crowd and everyone wanted to know more but the Lady of Gondor, Rohan and Ithilien simply shook her head.
"The one thing that I do ask of you is, before you speak ill of the King, remember how much he sacrificed in the War of the Ring, how much this City gave to come to the point we are at today. Your ancestors gave a lot to try and secure this City's freedom. Aragorn did a lot for this City before anyone knew it was him. My sister and I almost gave our lives for this City against the Witch-King. Speak ill of the King again when I can hear and I may not be so forgiving," she said, a tone of warning lacing her words before she nodded and began to walk around the City again.
Éowara thought as she walked around, everyone now having the confirmation that she was, indeed, in the City once more. The citizens knew that Éowara hadn't been tamed to the extent her sister had but that was one of the reasons she was loved and had come to be accepted by the people of Gondor. She was as much a Gondorinan as they were.
Catching slight of a market stall she lifted an apple and then took a bite of it before she smiled to herself. The apple was sweet… just the way she liked. The person tailing her slipped the stall owner some coins for his trouble before slowly making her way back to the Citadel and the Tower of Ecthelion.
She slipped back inside and heard voices: Aragorn and Faramir were discussing the future plans.
"King Éomer wishes to see his youngest sister, concerned about her as we all are," Aragorn spoke, "then we shall rest in Rivendell for a while before continuing onto Evendim where I plan for her Hobbit friends to meet with us," he said, "once she is settled I shall make all haste back across Eriador and Rohan and arrive back here."
"I know my brother-in-law will want her back at Edoras," Faramir said, "I trust you will go to Lothlorien and Rivendell as it will the last time you will visit…"
"Yes. The Bearers of the Three and Frodo and Bilbo Baggins are departing the shores of Middle Earth whenever that will be," Aragorn told Faramir, "only myself, Arwen and yourself know about this. I trust the Queen will have informed your wife…"
"I know…" came a voice that pulled the two men from the conversation they were having.
"Éowara, show yourself," Faramir spoke before looking at his sister-in-law as she stepped out from the shadows.
"I will be ready to travel when I am told," Éowara said as she nodded in greeting at the King and Prince of Ithilien.
"It will be soon. I am awaiting news from your brother before we set off," Aragorn spoke before glanced at Faramir.
"Why is my brother so interested in seeing me?" Éowara asked as she looked at Aragorn.
"Possibly something to do with you not having seen him in a few months," Aragorn spoke before she looked and nodded,
"I will be delighted to see him again. I do miss him," she said before thinking, "I would like to discuss something with you both before we leave," she said before leaving to go and spend time with her sister.
