Hey everyone!
So, I am working on an update for my other ongoing fic and that should be up by the week but 3/4 are ready to go so I'm updating now as I don't want to keep people waiting. I hope you're all doing well, and things are as well as they can be when your grandmother is having chemotherapy. I'm writing again though!
Lots of love,

A Wild Heart – Part 7:
Éowara had spent some time with her sister and had now relocated to the library tucked away in the Tower of Ecthelion where little knew about. It had become a favourite place of hers when in Minas Tirith and she loved going there and reading about the history of Gondor from the very start of the Kingdom. She sat down by the window and felt the cool breeze coming through the window as she read her book.
She sighed as she thought about what the Kingdom was like in the younger days and she half wished that she could have seen it but she could only read about it in the books and scrolls littering the library.
A door opened and she looked up to see who was disturbing her peaceful time and she found herself face-to-face with the King. She looked back down at her book before putting it down as Aragorn spoke.
"What is it you wish to speak to me about?" the King questioned as he sat down with her, "I know part of what you were saying out in the City."
"It is not to be discussed between us. It is something that I need to speak of at a Council," Éowara said, "it's about the rebuilding of certain things," she said as she looked at him, "I have been thinking about it a lot and have figured out that some things are lost and others that can be regained and rebuilt."
Aragorn looked at her and nodded softly. He knew better than to press her on something when she'd said it was a Council matter. He raised an eyebrow and looked at her.
"I know better than to press you on the matter but I will agree to call a Council before we set out for Edoras to see your brother," Aragorn said as he looked at her, "it must be spoken about before we leave."
"Considering that I will not be back for a while, yes, it needs to be addressed before we leave," Éowara spoke as she looked at him, "I also wonder why so much about my future was decided without my prescience," she added.
Aragorn sighed. He'd been waiting for the moment when she would ask that question. He looked at her and watched, wondering whether he should be honest or not. He knew that it was wrong but it had been for the best at the time for the young woman and it appeared that it was still the best option and path for Éowara as she had already surprised him with how much thought she'd put into everything already.
"I was the first one to sight you and your sister on the lookout in Edoras and there was something about you both that drew me to you both. Did I ever care about you both romantically? No. It was more a love that of a brother and sister," Aragorn spoke as he kept his eyes on her, "once I had spoken to your brother, after Gandalf had freed your uncle from Saruman's hold, I grew even more protective of you both… as did your brother. Your sister has always had a role to play in Rohan… and now Gondor but you don't. That is why it was decided that you would oversee the restoration and cleansing as required. You can go to the Morgul Vale and not be touched by the evil that still exists there."
Éowara looked at her King and wondered if he was speaking the whole truth or not. She looked at Aragorn in the same way Éowyn had looked at him before.
"I would mistake you for twins if I hadn't have known that you were younger," Aragorn said as he watched Éowara before she looked down.
"But why me? There are others who could do this better than I. I'm not a leader," she spoke before feeling a hand on hers.
"Because I want you to do this," Aragorn said, "there may be others more suited to this but I want to see what you can do. You are capable of leadership. Your Uncle thought you could but you and your sister rebelled and took part in the Battle of Pelenor Fields," he said as he looked at her as she looked up at him, "I will go and inform the Council of the session tomorrow," he said before leaning gently forwards and kissed her head softly before leaving.
The next morning arrived and everyone had gathered in the Council Chamber, wondering why there had been another Council called within the space of a week. Aragorn and Faramir looked around as they could not see Éowara there. They began to speak when Éowara slipped into the chamber and sat down.
"Why is the Lady Éowara here? This chamber is for Men," one of the Councillors spoke causing Faramir to move to stand behind his sister-in-law.
"She is here because what is about to be discussed involves her and the restoration of important buildings to the Reunited Kingdom," Faramir spoke before Éowara stood up.
"The King, for reasons I do not understand fully, has tasked me with two restoration tasks: The restoration of Annúminas and Osgiliath and then there is the Minas Morgul situation," she spoke as she looked around at the Council, "the restoration of the Seat in the North will not be a difficult task… the lake water in the City can be included in the restoration. The former capital will have the City rebuilt, the Dome of Stars restored and the Seat of Isildur will join the Seat of Anárion in the City and they will be together again," Éowara spoke, not looking at anyone in particular. She was almost certain that someone would stand against her. Afterall she was a Lady of the Kingdoms of Rohan and Gondor and Ithilien not a male capable of such a feet.
"And what of the former Minas Ithil?" one Councillor asked surprising both Aragorn and Faramir.
"I will be erecting a new Tower of the Moon in Osgiliath," Éowara spoke, "I am still thinking how I will do everything but, from my ventures to the Morgul Vale, it pains me to say that the original Tower of the Moon is lost… It is too steeped in evil to recover. I will have to destroy it eventually," she said, a hint of sadness in her voice as she spoke before sitting down again.
"As you can see the Lady Éowara has given to this since she was tasked with this by myself," Aragorn said, "the Lady knows the Morgul Vale and the current situation more than even I," he said as he spoke to the Council.
"You have thought of almost everything My Lady," another Councillor spoke, "I am surprised and yet I have faith that you will complete this as well. If this is the King's wish then I will support the notion. Why did you decide to do this?"
"Maybe it's because this is what I am meant to be doing," Éowara spoke as she looked around, "I don't have a role so maybe this is what I should be doing. There is only one thing to do and that is to let me try. That is all I ask of you."
