Hey everyone!

How do I celebrate reaching my 25k Camp NaNo goal? By giving everyone two updates in a month! I'm so proud of myself and most of my ongoing fics all have at least 5 parts between them and these updates. I'm hoping the writing groove is here to stay. It's been wonderful being able to write again.

Lots of love,

A Wild Heart – Part 10:

Éowara was restless during the dinner that Aragorn and Arwen were hosting. Even though it wasn't the grand occasion she had expected it to be, she couldn't concentrate on anything. The fact that her brother had requested that she stop at Edoras on the way to Eriador had only made her more restless. Had she been left alone she'd have already long slipped off to Edoras and maybe be in the Trollshaws by now.

Éowyn was watching her sister, as were most of the gathered, to see if Éowara would remain calm or whether she would get restless as she often did before a journey. It was one reason why things usually happened pretty soon after being announced.

It had been agreed that the three would leave after breakfast and head northwest to Far Anórien, through the Beacon Hills and then to the Eastfold, where Éowara spent the first four years of hr life before finally arriving at Meduseld. Aragorn had sought permission from the Wild Men to paas through their lands. It had been the way that both the sisters had trodden and was the best route to go. Aragorn could also see how the northern part of Gondor was recovering after the War of the Ring as the Dawnless Day had covered most of Gondor.

Arwen was sat nearest Éowara and studied her.

"How are you? I understand a great deal has been decided without you and you are allowed to feel grieved," she spoke softly.

"I am fine my Queen," came the reply.

"And that is the reason you have barely touched your food?"

"I am not hungry. I am not a Hobbit," Éowara replied as she looked at Arwen before finding the Queen's fair hand on hers.

"Your time will come. You will defeat the demons that plague you. I can see the storm in your eyes Éowara and Aragorn sees it as well," Arwen replied before Éowara ate more of her meal. It wasn't much longer before Éowyn excused herself and retired to her room, her sister doing the same but heading in the opposite direction. One of Faramir's men nodded and slipped of silently to find Éowara before she could escape too far.

"Please do go easy on my sister-in-law. She is clearly struggling," Faramir spoke and Arwen nodded in agreement. Aragorn nodded before turning to more important matter.

"Beregond is ruling Ithilien in your absence Faramir?" Aragorn asked and the Prince of Ithilen nodded.

"And he will continue to do so until my return. I left instructions which will be followed to the letter."

"Then my wish is for you to remain here with Arwen until my return to the City," Aragorn said, "I wish for you to be here in case anything should happen."

"Then I will see that your wish is my command," Faramir spoke and nodded at Arwen, "Éowyn will also remain here until your return once she is returned from Edoras and assist as she can."

"Who is going to stand in your ruling position in the north?" Arwen asked a while later after drinks had been refilled. She had decided to ask her husband there and then as it was an unanswered question which he had avoided both being asked and answering.

"I will have the perfect person traveling with me to Evendim," Aragorn spoke as he looked at Faramir and Arwen, "she doesn't know it yet."

"Not Éowyn," Arwen spoke, "Éowara then. You are expecting so much of her. She is only young herself still, just twenty-one," she spoke before hearing something. She glanced to see if her husband or Faramir had heard, which they hadn't before her eyes caught sight of Éowara in the shadows. How much had she heard? She couldn't tell as the woman slipped away silently. It was then that a memory struck her.

Midsummer 2019 – Aragorn and Arwen's wedding:

Arwen and Aragorn had wed after years of being bound together and the feast was long over as Arwen and Aragorn were sat talking before Faramir bowed to then in greeting.

Arwen had seen the Lady Éowara when the two had been in Rivendell together and knew of Éowyn but had yet to meet her… that was about to change.

"My King and Queen, more my Queen, allow me to introduce the Ladies Éowyn and Éowara of Rohan, the sisters of Éomer, King of Rohan."

Arwen had stood up and nodded in greeting at the sisters.

"You two and Meriadoc are, to my understanding, the people who destroyed the Witch-King of Angmar. We owe you a great debt."

"It is a pleasure to meet you at last Queen Arwen," Éowyn spoke as she bowed before Éowara just stood there, studying the new Queen. She looked different from their past meeting.

"Will you bow?" Aragorn had asked before chuckling, "Éowara has a certain disregard for certain rules my love," he said before Arwen walked up to the youngest Lady and took her hand, squeezing it softly.

"The Lady Éowara will become a Lady of Gondor like her sister, and, eventually Ithilien. She will learn under my council," Arwen spoke, surprising everyone gathered, "I can see the rebellious side within her as I did in Imladris many months ago and the Ladies Éowyn and Éowara and their brother, Éomer King, should be honoured for the sacrifices their family and Kingdom made in order for the West to defeat the darkness.

The days passed on and things moved fast. Théoden's funeral and Faramir's betrothal with Éowyn had been announced. The Queen saw the grief that had wrapped itself around Éowara as Aragorn had revealed Boromir and Éowara may have fallen in love against the odds, causing the Queen to form a closer connection with the young woman before Faramir had brought Éowara to Gondor and stated that Éowara would remain with her sister. It had been then that the matter of Éowara's future had really been pushed to the forefront of minds.

The Present Moment:

Arwen wondered how Éowara would fair in the Northern Kingdom on her own, leading the reconstruction of the former Capital and then acting as the ruler. It was something she'd wanted to try and avoid but it was the best option they had.

"My Queen…?" came Faramir's voice as she was drawn from her thoughts, "is everything fine?"

"I was just thinking. Forgive me," Arwen replied having a feeling that Aragorn and Faramir knew exactly what she was thinking about as the men left it at that.

The next morning arrived all too quickly and Aragorn's most trusted men had gathered ready for the escort. The City was alive as the King reached the first level of the City.

"The High Queen Arwen and Prince Faramir will rule in my stead whilst I am away! This is the start of rebuilding the Northern and Southern Kingdoms of Gondor and Arnor!" He addressed the crowds who cheered, "the Ladies Éowyn and Éowara will accompany me to Edoras before I will go North with the Lady Éowara and Lady Éowyn will return to help rule. Listen and heed their words!" The crowd cheered again before Éowara embraced Arwen one more time.

"If you need me speak the word of the Elves and I will come," Arwen spoke softly before helping Éowara onto her horse, stood by Faramir and watched as the escort left the City and turned left towards Far Anórien and eventually Edoras.
