Controlled Chaos Forger of Worlds

Chapter 4

Andromeda sat at her counsel table and allowed her eyes to scan the curved white walls as the other council members filed into the room.

Over the last year, with the addition of Harry's blood, she had finished her version of the super soldier formula and, like her, the other council members who changed due to taking it.

She stood at 6 feet even; her long black hair had become more lustrous and now had a shine. Her muscles now strained against her tanned skin. While her muscles toned, her hips widened, her waist narrowed, and her bust had increased.

Her gray eyes became darker as her cheekbones became more pronounced and her face narrowed.

She now looked like she was 25, but better than she was when she was that age initially.

Along with the physiological changes, she now had enhanced attributes thanks to the serum. Her mutant abilities had also been improved. She could now break down any organic matter into its component parts and remake it as she saw fit.

She turned as Ted Tonks sat down, her hand snaking into his as she took in his changes.

Ted didn't change as much as her since not only was he resurrected at the age at which he died, but his absorption of natural energy allowed him to slow his aging.

He stood at 6'2" tall, his shoulders had broadened, his muscles toned. He glanced at her as she grabbed his hand, his yellow eyes shining with love, and he flashed her a smile full of perfect teeth.

Despite herself, Andromeda felt the heat pool in her belly as she looked at him. She looked away, but out of the corner of her eye, she could see his lip curled into a smirk.

Her eyes narrowed, and her lips thinned as she planned her payback.

XX –

Nam of Juru sat across from Andromeda, his nose twitching as he took in the pheromone the couple released.

Like the couple, he had changed with the introduction of Andromeda's serum.

His purple skin faded after taking the serum, returning to its original tan. However, though his purple skin faded, it didn't disappear. It took the form of tribal tattoos as he grew a few inches, topping out at 6'2".

His body had slimmed down, becoming leaner, his muscles condensed to contain more power. Though the single horn in the center of his forehead disappeared, two smaller horns took its place on his brow.

Luckily, he could hide them by growing his hair, leaving him with a stylish but curly, dark brown mop.

He turned as Kreature Spark sat on his left and nodded to the transformed elf.

The serum had transformed everyone on the island, making him almost obsolete as it boosted their immune system and healed old injuries. While no one was sick now, he knew there would be trouble in the future; his hand curled into a fist, and he would be ready for it.

XX –

Kreature nodded back to Nam, happy he could now look the man in the eye without looking up. At first, he was hesitant to take Andromeda's serum, but he had to say he was happy with the results.

Before, he stood at a little over 4 feet; he now stood at 6 feet even.

His muscles were lean and wiry. With his increase in height, he cut his copper-colored hair short, which drew attention to his pointed ears, but with gray skin and blue eyes that had electricity dancing around the Iris, he wasn't exactly subtle.

Luckily, they lived on an island of individuals with unique features and talents. The change in his race's stature caused a ripple on the island. Relationships between Spark, Juru, Mutant, and Greenleaf became more common.

Kreature's luminescent eyes followed Divine as she sat down on Nam's other side.

Catching her eyes, Kreature swallowed. Today would be the day, after the meeting, he would ask her on a date. As the decision found in his mind, his pulse quickened, and his mind raced.

What would he do with her?

XX –

Divine could feel Kreature's eyes on her. She knew what he wanted; she had felt the connection, but they worked so well together that she didn't want to ruin it with a failed relationship.

Looking around the room, she took in the others, marveling how Andromeda's serum had changed them.

Unlike most, she had stayed the same after taking the serum; her abilities had just increased.

She was still 5'11" tall, curvy, with wide hips, a pronounced bust, short shoulder-length black hair, and blue eyes. Glancing down her chest, she fought a smile. Then again, maybe one part of her body increased a bit.

Catching movement, she watched Amelia Bones sit down to Ted's right.

XX –

Catching Divine's eye, Amelia Bones nodded to the woman; she sat beside Ted and released a breath.

While the island was peaceful, many of her Valkyries were itching for a fight. The mutants in her units didn't like their people being persecuted. Given their history on Krypton, the Juru did not want to see those persecuted for being different.

She glanced at herself, smoothing down the red Gi with black trim. Andromeda's serum had taken away her wrinkles and the few gray hairs she had. She was now in the prime of her youth again, standing at 5'9" tall with vibrant red hair and gray eyes that glowed with an inner power.

The serum had lifted her breasts, toned her muscles, and sculpted her body into pristine condition, giving her the physical energy to run the with Valkyries.

She closed her eyes, taking a moment to allow the weight on her shoulders to lift.

She may be physically younger, but she had seen an experience so much that she was tired.

She wanted her husband to hold her in his arms, but she wasn't sure that would happen. He may not be dead, but he was somewhere their people couldn't reach.

XX –

Callisto sat beside Amelia, making sure not to touch her since her eyes were closed. She looked around, taking in the people she had become close to over the last year.

She had been shocked and disoriented when she came to the last thing she remembered was being beaten into unconsciousness by some machine.

Raising a hand, she moved a strand of dark hair from her blue eyes. Not only had she fully healed, but she had also changed.

Apparently, she had been recovering in Andromeda Tonks's super soldier formula. Not only did it aid in her healing, but it increased her physical abilities and granted her the ability to fly.

She looked down at herself, taking note of the white Gi stretched across her 5'9" frame. The Gi showed off her hundred and 30 pounds of defined muscle, accentuating her body and the curve of her breasts.

She had been a little self-conscious at first. Gi's had become standard on the island due to the ease of movement when worn, and Andromeda's serum had allowed the island's inhabitants to adapt to any temperature.

After adjusting, Calisto became the island security chief, not feeling safe enough to return home. She was surprised to find the Morlocks on the island and even more surprised when Carver apologized.

Callisto punched him in the face; her fingers curled at the memory. Though they would never be friends, they were at least cordial to each other.

Callisto relaxed as Jonas Greenleaf sat beside her, "Good morning."

"Morning."

XX –

After taking Andromeda's serum, Jonas Greenleaf stood at 6 feet even. Deeply tanned skin showed off defined wiry muscle, his cheekbones were now more pronounced, and his top and bottom canines had elongated. Like the spark, pointed ears poked out from his head.

Strands of dark green hair floated down from either side of his face, drawing attention away from his yellow eyes.

Since taking the serum, Jonas worked with Kreature and Divine to create vertical greenhouses to save the limited space on the island. It was good since more mutants were arriving on the island due to increased persecution.

Before he disappeared, Harry had said something about creating a planet for the island's inhabitants, but since his disappearance, no one had brought it up again.

'We need to do something soon, or we will outgrow our space. Maybe Lady Gaia can help. We've been doing a lot of work on her behalf, and most of the European countries we can reach are clean now.'

XX –

Clarice Glitterstone's 5'6" frame swayed slightly as she walked to her seat at the end of the table, a common occurrence since she developed her new ability. Dropping her bag beside her chair, she sat down heavily while using her left hand to rub at her yellow eyes.

She glanced around at the others, taking note of their Gi as she smoothed her business attire. While everyone else on the island now wore them, she did not. With her responsibilities at the bank, it just wasn't feasible.

Reaching into her bag, she pulled a few files and set them beside her; the motion caused the white hair piled at the back of her head to wobble.

"Rough morning?" Jonas Greenleaf asked.

"It always is when you're pretending to be someone else."

After taking Andromeda's serum, Clarice developed shapeshifting abilities. Since then, she had taken to pretending to be Harry Potter. To pull this off, Nadira or Jani of Juru would telepathically help her mimic his mannerisms and thought patterns.

This was only possible thanks to how much time he fed off the Juru, leaving himself open for psychic scanning.

Jonas patted her hand, "Well, maybe you won't have to do that anymore; she did call this meeting after all."

"Maybe," Clarice conceded with a tired smile, placing her hand over his.

Both turned, their ears twitching as the woman entered the room and moved to stand behind the chair at the head of the table.

XX –

Like everyone else, Jani had changed after taking Andromeda's serum.

She stood at 5'10" tall. She was curvy with pale skin that had an almost supernatural glow. Dark purple tribal tattoos created attractive designs across her body, a remnant of her former purple skin.

Her blue eyes scanned everyone in the room with a hint of excitement, and her black hair was braided into a ponytail that trailed down the center of her back.

Like most island inhabitants, she wore a Gi; hers was white with gold designs.

Gripping the back of the chair, she took a deep breath, "Thank you all for coming; I know with our duties, it is hard for meetings like this to occur."

The talking around the room tapered off at her words, and everyone turned to look at her.

There was her father, Nam, the head of the Juru on the island and lead healer. There was Andromeda Tonks, director of their medical research and voice of the blood.

Then, there was Edward Theodore Tonks, the top farmer for the island; he worked with the Greenleaf to produce their food sustainably.

Divine of Juru was next; she worked alongside the spark to develop and improve the island's technology.

Callisto Jones was the voice of the mutants and head of security.

Amelia Bones led the Valkyrie and captured mutants, blood members, or Juru souls so they could be resurrected. Granted, she hadn't had to collect any of Juru, but the last two kept her busy over the last year as tensions about mutants rose and blood members were mistaken for mutants and attacked.

Jonas Greenleaf was the leader of the Greenleaf on the island and worked alongside Ted to ensure they had sustainable food. His people also worked off the island at the behest of Lady Gaia to clean up the world.

Clarice Glitterstone was arguably the most important person on the island, CEO of Celestial Enterprises. She was the one responsible for running the company in Harry's absence. Hopefully, she can alleviate some of the woman's growing stress today.

Finally, there was her, Jani of Juru, headmistress of the five newly created academies on the island.

There was the school of nature; it taught those who had abilities that affected nature.

Then, there was the school of iron, which taught those with the ability to manipulate metal and technology.

Next was the school of the owl; it educated those with psychic abilities, whether telepathy, telekinesis, intuitive knowledge, or manipulating psychic energy.

After that was the house of Flesh, which trained those who could manipulate biological matter. Depending on their ability, they were taught to heal, injure, or convert natural matter into something else.

Finally, the House of the Ox trained those with physical abilities such as superstrength, superspeed, multiple limbs, enhanced senses, etc.

Once their training in the schools was done, they were taken to the science Citadel and given a basic education. Those who wanted to could opt for further Education from Citadel to increase the efficiency and versatility of their powers.

Once schooling was done, they were allowed to pick what they wanted to do on the island. Others left to work off the island. These individuals were implanted with psychic blocks so they couldn't reveal the island's existence or location.

The clearing of a throat brought Jani out of her thoughts as she turned to face her father, "So, why have you called us here, daughter?"

Jani looked around the room and found everyone staring at her. She felt her cheeks heat up as she realized she'd been staring off into space, lost in her thoughts for a few minutes.

Straightening her back, she cleared her throat, "Yes, I have come to inform you that Harry has contacted me."

Everyone around the table shared a look before Andromeda leaned forward, "How and when?"

Jani explained how she went to Harry's home to look around, causing everyone to share a look again before describing how the cauldron of creation and runic forge disappeared through a portal while another opened, delivering a file.

Taking the file from beneath her arm, Jani slid it forward.

The file was passed one by one before it finally stopped between Divine and Clarice Glitterstone.

"This is Harry's handwriting," Clarice began.

Divine shifted through papers, "These are also his designs."

"But how do we know this is our Harry? We all know the multiverse exists."

Jonas Greenleaf held up a paper from the folder. "These are orders from Lady Gaia, but the energy on them feels different."

Callisto nodded, "which lends more credence to the multiversal counterpart theory."

Jani looked around the room as she moved to take her seat, "I thought that was an option, but I was hoping the rest of you would talk me out of it."

"If it is a multiversal counterpart, how do they know about us and our relationship with Lady Gaia?"

Callisto nodded, "That's a good point."

Nam turned to his daughter, "What did Norman say? I know you had him look at the files."

A side benefit of Norman's powers is that they let him know who wrote any document.

Jani laced her fingers together, "He said the person looked like Harry, but certain features were different."

Amelia looked up and down the table, "Again lending credence to it being the actual Harry or a multiversal counterpart since resurrection can sometimes change one's features."

Kreature cleared his throat. "The plans do not look harmful and would benefit Lady Gaia; I see no reason we shouldn't use them. In the meantime, Jonas should try contacting Lady Gaia to learn more about those orders."

Everyone around the table nodded, and Jani asked Jonas, "Would you be willing to do that?"

"Of course," Jonas agreed quickly, eagerness shining in his eyes.

Everyone around the table smiled at Jonas's eagerness, knowing that the Greenleaf would likely swim through glass for an excuse to talk to Lady Gaia.

Callisto leaned forward, "While we're all here, I would like to propose something."

Everyone turned to look at her.

"I want to put together a strike team to go out and rescue blood members and mutants."

At her request, a heaviness descended on the table. Everyone knew that while they were at peace here, the rest of the world was not like that.

"You all know," Callisto continued, "that even though we are hidden, Morgan Le Fay continues to search for the island."

"As much as I want to help our fellow outcasts," Jonah began, "space is at a premium; we can't take on much more in the technology that hides us continue to work."

"We also can't leave our brothers and sisters in the cold," Ted countered, he turned to look at Jani. "Wasn't Harry creating a seed that could terraform a planet?"

Andromeda nodded, "He was, but last I saw, it was in the Runic Forge."

Clarice sighed, "Which means, at the very least, it's out of our reach."

Nam spoke up. "Could we not just ask Krakoa to house them until we think of a better solution?"

Ted shook his head, "We could, but I won't be the one to ask it. Krakoa is still waiting on the orb to convert sunlight into psychic energy."

Everyone at the table winced. They had forgotten that Krakoa fed off the psychic energy of living beings. It would be a bad idea to rescue people only to place them on an island that would eat them.

Divine raised her hand, "What if we place them in dimensional stasis? Something like what we did for Ted and the others before they regained their bodies."

Everyone at the table looked at each other before finally nodding.

"That could work," Jani said, "the magic will be tricky, though," she shook her head, "we need a magic specialist on the island."

"Since I'll be talking to Lady Gaia, I could ask for her help."

Jani nodded, "Do that; maybe she has a better suggestion," she turned to Callisto, "In the meantime, put your team together and begin training."
