(Note: I'M BACK! It's time to get back to work on the story. I hope you're just as excited as I am. Oh. I also saw the Attack on Titan finale, and I've got to say...Attack on Titan is peak fiction. That's all I'm going to say. Let's get started.)

A week later in a abandoned warehouse

Garou's pov

"Ugh! When is Twice going to be here?" Toga asks. "Be patient, Toga. The man Twice is bringing is no joke and could be a major asset." Mr. Compress answers. "Well, I'm getting bored. Why do we need to speak with this guy?" Toga asks me as I groan. This is the third time I've had to explain to her! "Because, now that the heroes have put out a major target on my back, it's time to make allies with other groups. Now stop asking me!" I yell.

It's only been a week since I've allowed these idiots to stay with me….and I've never felt a stronger urge to blow my brains out. They act like children. All of them! Spinner keeps spouting shit to me about Stain. Twice is an absolute idiot who can't hold a normal conversation. Mr. Compress won't stop talking as if we're on a stage. As for Toga, she keeps trying to stab me when I least expect it. Even as I sleep!

However, some of them aren't all annoying. Magne is actually nice and can hold good conversations. Kurogiri, despite his appearance, is a kind and polite guy who has been enjoying his new found freedom. And Dabi is the only one I trust since I worked with him for a little longer than the others and he's a…decent guy. A little crazy at times, but a decent guy. Overall, this might be my best and worst decision.

Tonight, my team and I are meeting Kai Chisaki, aka Overhaul. Or more like he wants to meet us. Twice came back this morning from getting groceries, since there was no food at the apartment complex, and told us that he ran into one of Overhaul's men and the guy said that Overhaul wanted to meet us. I was ready to decline it, but Kurogiri said that with the heroes putting out a kill on sight for me, it would be wise to have allies in the criminal underworld.

He also said it would bring me stronger opponents to face. If I want to complete my evolution into a monster, I need strong opponents. All Might and All for One were the strongest in the world and thus, finding another opponent is going to be difficult. But, if I create enough commotion, then heroes across the world will come to fight me and I can truly bring terror to the world as the people see their heroes fall. However, I must meet Overhaul and get the Shie Hassakai to work with me.

Shie Hassaikai used to be big back before quirks appeared, but now they've faded into obscurity. But now they want to meet me. Maybe, with All for One gone and leaving a power vacuum, the Shie Hassaikai want to make a major comeback. My thoughts are cut off as the door opens. Twice walks with, I assume, Overhaul. Overhaul is dressed with casual clothes, wearing a green coat with fluffy purple fur inside, and he is wearing a plague doctor mask.

"Finally. I was worried you got yourself lost, Twice." I say, jokingly. "It was my fault. I prefer to keep myself well hidden, so it took your friend quite some time to find me." Overhaul says in an emotionless tone. "It's nice to finally meet you, Garou. Your name has spread like wildfire throughout Japan in less than 5 months. Quite impressive." Overhaul says. "Cut the bullshit. Now, what do old timers like the Yakuza want with me?" I ask.

"Yakuza?!" Magne yells. "Didn't Kurogiri tell you? Overhaul is second in command for the Yakuza branch, Shie Hassaikai." Dabi explains. "He's the number two of a whole gang? Oh, I've never met anyone like him before. He smells so dangerous. How exciting." Magne says. Magne is sweet, but she can say some weird shit. "What's the big deal? We're all criminals, so how is this guy different?" Toga asks. "Well, despite them losing the fame they once had, they still have many connections in the criminal world." Mr. Compress answers.

"Enough." I say to get them to shut up. "Now, why did you want to meet me?" I ask Overhaul. "Straight to business? I like that attitude from people like yourself. But, to answer your question, I am the answer for your problems." Overhaul says. "Answer to my problems?" I question him. "I'm sure you're aware of the massive target placed on your back. Not just by the heroes, but also from villains as well." Overhaul says.

"You single handedly defeated both the Symbol of Peace, and the Symbol of Fear. Now that they're gone, many will be trying to rise up and replace them, but you're standing in their way. It especially doesn't help the pros after they lost so many heroes, including All Might, and with the people turning on them." Overhaul says. "As for villains, since you've become the most dangerous man, many want you dead so they can be feared. Or they simply want revenge for their master, All for One." Overhaul says. "Where do you stand then?" I ask.

"I sort of agree with your view, but you're not looking at the bigger picture." Overhaul says as I look confused. "You believe that the heroes are the cause for all the pain of those under them, but in reality the real enemy is their own power." Overhaul says. "'Their own power?' What are you talking about?" I ask. "I would answer, but we are not yet allies." Overhaul says. "You see, you and I have the same viewpoint. The world is unfair. And I want to make it fair. And since you have the same viewpoint as me, I wish for you and your team to work for me." Overhaul says.

"Work for you?! Why the hell would we do that?!" Spinner yells. "Think about it. With you being targeted for death, you need protection. I am offering to give you it. In exchange, you work for me." Overhaul says. "Cocky bastard. If you think I'll work for you, you've got another thing coming!" I yell. "Let the heroes come. I'll fight every last one of them till the end." I say. "Such a shame. I was hoping we could come to an agreement." Overhaul says.

"Deal with him." I tell the others as Magne uses her quirk to pull Overhaul towards her. "Sorry about you small fry, but we didn't band together to serve under somebody's boot. We're free to decide exactly where we belong!" Magne yells as she gets ready to hit Overhaul with her weapon. However, as Overhaul is being pulled towards her, I see him taking his glove off. What is he…OH NO! He is about to use his quirk! I dash towards the two to stop Overhaul from touching her, but he manages to scratch her arm and it begins to expand, as if it'll explode. Thinking quickly, I know I don't have another choice.

I use Whirling Wind to slice off Magne's arm as her arm explodes. "AAAAAHHHH!" Magne screams in pain. "Big Sis Mag!" Toga screams as she rushes to Magne's side. "Why did you do that?!" Toga yells. "Didn't you see that! After I cut off her arm, it exploded. If I didn't cut it off she would have exploded 's his quirk. He can destroy molecules in a person's body." I explain. "So, you know that if I touch someone, the molecules in their body will be destroyed. You're smarter than you look." Overhaul says. I only knew that info thanks to Kurogiri. He warned me about this, but I was to careless. Dammit!

"You'll pay for that!" Mr. Compress yells as he goes to attack, but I stop him. "Stop! I don't want to slice your limbs off too you idiot!" I yell. "It'll be okay, Magne. You'll be okay." Toga says as Magne is losing a lot of blood. "Toga, give her some of the blood you've collected. She'll die without it!" I yell as Toga hesitates. "NOW!" I yell. She nods and gives her some blood. "That bastard! Let me at him!" Twice yells. "I see I caused quite a commotion. Let's take some time to calm down. Here's my card when you've calmed down. Next time, we'll talk alone, Garou." Overhaul says as he walks out.

"We're just going to let him walk away?!" Spinner asks me. "We have too. If we wait any longer Magne is going to bleed out." I say as Twice and Toga help Magne. They may be idiots, but I'm not going to let them die. "Call Kurogiri. Tell him to get us back to the apartment." I order as Spinner goes to call Kurogiri. "Dabi, I need you." I call out as Dabi walks over to me. "We need to stop the bleeding and you're the only one with the right quirk to do it." I say as he nods and goes over to Magne.

"Toga, Twice, hold her." Dabi says as Twice and Toga do just that. "This is going to hurt a lot. Are you ready?" Dabi asks Magne. She nods as Dabi warms his hand up and places it on the stump. "AAAAAHHHH!" Magne screams in pain as the wound is sealed and she passes out. Just in time, Kurogiri opens a portal and I pick Magne up as I look at Toga, pissed. "You and I are having a discussion later." I say as I walk to the portal. Magne would have been if Toga hesitated for too long. I'll deal with it later after Magne is patched up.

At UA high in the morning

Midoriya's pov

It's been a week since All Might fell and things have changed drastically in the hero society. Many pros were killed by the Nomu in Kamino. Such as Kamui Woods, Shooter, and many more. Not only that, the people are turning against the heroes. Saying that they've failed to help society and are responsible for all the chaos happening. Villains have been rising from the shadows and have been fighting for power, putting innocent people in danger.

It got so bad that the teachers canceled the Provisional Hero License Exam. They didn't want to risk putting their students in danger. As for me, I am not taking it well. All Might hasn't spoken to me for a long time, most of my classmates stay away from me now since I broke Kacchan's back. My Mom also wanted me to leave UA because of all that is happening. Overall, it's a mess.

I pull myself out of my thoughts and pay attention to Aizawa, who is explaining about the hero work studies. "The hero work studies are a more serious version of your internships. They entail helping pro agencies on the streets and with investigations. Your principal and teachers discussed this at the faculty meeting and we agree that it's too soon and that they should be canceled." Aizawa says as the others get bummed. "Ah! But, we already met about them!" Kirshima says. "I guess, when you think about why we moved into the dorms, it does make sense." Kaminari says.

After Kamino, the teachers moved us into dorms so they could protect us better. "But, some people think we won't be able to raise strong heroes with that protective outlook. So, the compromise is to be selective about participating agencies. So, choose one with a proven track record. Otherwise, you won't be taking part in it." Aizawa says. An agency with a good track record? Who should I….wait a minute.

A few minutes later in All Might's office

"Wait. You want me to introduce you to Sir Nighteye for the work study program?" All Might asks in shock. I chose Sir Nighteye since he is All Might's former sidekick, and has one of the best agency track records. "Yes. Since he's one of the few heroes that have worked directly under you, he's a perfect fit." I explain. "So, Sir Nighteye. Who could have put that thought in your head?" All Might asks. Before I can answer, All Might starts talking. "No, of course. You wanted to be proactive, so you called Gran Torino, didn't you?" All Might asks.

"Yes sir." I answer. "Well, I refuse." All Might says as I am shocked. "I'm not saying that to punish you. I have three reasons." All Might says as he turns his chair towards me. "First up. I opposed work studies in a faculty meeting yesterday. I think it's unnecessary for first years to start them early. Reason two. You need to work on controlling One for All and making sure you don't turn into a monster fully. Third, Sir Nighteye….I just don't want to talk to the guy." All Might explains.

"All Might, if I work with Nighteye, he'll know exactly how to help me improve on controlling One for All since you and I have the same power. I need to be stronger so that I can beat Garou!" I yell. "...Midoriya, I appreciate your passion, but I can't introduce you to him." All Might says as I am about to start arguing with him. "However, I know someone who can." All Might says. Huh? Who could it be?

I sit down in All Might's office for a while as he calls in another student. The door opens and a kid who looks like a younger version of All Might enters the room. "You are here!" The kid yells as All Might and I stay silent. "Sorry! Couldn't help myself. I just got super excited that you wanted to talk to me." The kid explains. "This is Miro Togata. He's currently doing his work study at Nighteye's agency." All Might explains. "Huh?!" I yell. "Yep. I've been working alongside him for four years." Miro explains. That's pretty cool.

"All right, I'll get straight to the point. Tell me, Young Togata, do you think that this first year student has what it takes to work at Nighteye's agency?" All Might asks. "So, that's why you called me here. You want me to introduce him to Nighteye!" Miro says as he wraps his arm around me as I get uncomfortable as All Might nods. "But, why did you need me to go through him? I'm sure he'll be happy to call you." Miro asks. "I can't exactly face him right now." All Might answers.

"So, do you think he has what it takes?" All Might asks. "Well that's tough." Miro says as he looks at me. "What kind of hero do you want to be?" Miro asks me. "I want to save people with a smile, and…" I can't finish the sentence since I am thinking about things. How can I save people when I let Kota get taken? And let's be honest, Garou was the one who truly saved him, from what Kota told the heroes after I got him home. How can I save people with a smile, when I failed at that? And now Garou is seen as a hero. Why? Why do people side with him? A villain? "...I don't know anymore. I've been through some intense times. The more I experience the real world, the more I'm confused. I tried to be the hero I want to be, but…it hasn't worked out. So, for now, I want to be strong." I answer.

"Well…there's no reason for me to say no. So yeah." Miro says with a smile. I smile back, but I'm still confused on the inside. Why do people see Garou as a hero and heroes as villains? Why?

A few hours later at Garou's apartment

Garou's pov

I am currently waiting in the living room with the others for Kurogiri to give us the news on Magne's condition. "…This is my fault." Twice says, breaking the silence. "I brought him to the rest of us. And because of me, Magne lost her arm." Twice says. "No. It's mine." I say. "I should've known Overhaul would try something." I say. "Don't beat yourselves up about it. At least no one died." Dabi says.

"You're right, but what are we going to do now?" Spinner asks me. "You and I both know we can't let this slide. Overhaul has to pay." Spinner says. "And he will. But, he's got a lot of resources and men. If we're going to attack, we need to play it smart." I say. "But how? If we know little about them, then how are we expected to win?" Spinner says. I think for a moment and I come up with an idea. "Overhaul thinks we'll still join him after what he did. Which shows that he's arrogant. We can use that to our advantage." I say. "How?" Twice asks. "I'll go meet with him. Alone. See if I can get something going for us. From there, we'll make a plan to tear down his organization." I say. "That's a risky move." Dabi says. "I'll be fine. We'll just talk. That's it." I say.

The door opens and Kurogiri walks out. "How is she?!" Twice asks, running up to Kurogiri. "She's lost a lot of blood, but she will live." Kurogiri says as Twice breathes a sigh of relief. "Can we speak to her?" Toga asks. "You may. But, be careful. She is still tired." Kurogiri says as Toga, Twice, and I walk in and see Magne in the bed. "Hey guys." Magne says, tiredly. "I'm so sorry Magne. I should've never brought him there—", "It's okay. You didn't know what would happen." Magne reassures Twice. "At least you're alive. Oh. And sorry about your arm." I apologize. "Don't be. If you hadn't, I would have been dead." Magne says.

"We'll make the Shie Hassakai pay for this. I promise you, Magne." I say. "Well, if you're going to get pay back, at least let me in on it. If I feel better." Magne says as I nod. "Now, just rest up." I say as the others and I leave the room. After I close the door, I turn to look at Kurogiri. "They'll pay for this." I say. "I know. But at least you saved Magne's live." Kurogiri says. "Well, almost." I say as I glare at Toga. She nearly costed Magne's live. I can't let this slide.

"Toga. You and I need to speak. Alone." I say as I turn to walk out of the room with Toga behind me. We make our way to the roof as I open the door to the roof. After shutting it, I turn towards Toga. "Look, about what happened. I'm so—" I cut her off as I punch the wall behind her, cracking it. "You hesitated, and nearly cost Magne's life." I say. "I…I know. It…It's just…"Toga can't form an answer. "You didn't want to give away the blood because you feel like you need it." I say as she nods.

"Your addiction to blood is a problem. If you don't start controlling it, you'll cost the rest of the group's lives." I say. "I know! It's just…I just can't live without blood! I have to devour it so I don't starve!" Toga yells. "Wrong! You only drink blood cause your quirk is forcing you to do it!" I yell back. "You're allowing your quirk to run rampant. And it will cause problems later down the line for us." I say, calming down. "Well, what do you want to do?" Toga asks. "Simple, you're going on a diet." I say. "What?!" Toga yells.

"From now on, you're not going to drink any blood for a long time. Only once or twice on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And once you've overcome that, we'll move to only one day a month, and finally you won't need to drink blood unless it's to activate your quirk. Got it?" I ask. "But—", "Got it?!" I yell. "I…yes." Toga agrees. "Good. We'll start today. I'll let Kurogiri know." I say walking to the door. "Oh. And if I find you drinking blood behind my back. You'll wish you'd listened to me." I threaten her as I leave the roof. It's cruel, but necessary. Hopefully she'll be able to get rid of her addiction. Because if she doesn't, she'll only hurt herself more than others.
