(Flashback) Bang's Dojo six months ago

Garou's pov

The Old Geezer left to go get some tea from a teastore. However, that didn't mean there wasn't training for today. Bang tells me and the other students to do basic training while he is out. While training, my mind isn't on training at the moment. It is on something else.

I've been training for the past 12 years and I've become much stronger than ever. More than these bozos. It is time for me to make my move. But I can't leave yet. Bang keeps scrolls of other fighting styles in his room. They could have been useful for me when I begin my hunt for heroes. But first, I need to deal with these guys before getting the scrolls and getting out of here before Bang gets back.

I stop training with the others and Sourface looks confused. "Hey, what are you doing? We are nowhere near done." Sourface says. "I'm finished." I simply answer. "There's nothing here for me to learn here. It's a waste of time." I say as I turn to look at him menacingly. "Let's fight for real." I declare as I begin my rampage.

They don't stand a chance as I tear right through them. I break their bones, destroy their pressure points, and best of all break their spirits. When I finish them, I go to find the scrolls in Bang's room. It takes a while, but I manage to find the safe the scrolls are in and destroy the safe with ease. I quickly read through them and get the basic idea. I will need to train with them later. I attempt to leave the dojo as fast as I can.

However, Bang comes back earlier than usual. He sees what I did and attacks me without mercy. It wasn't nearly as bad as what he does to me in the forest, but still pretty bad. He doesn't turn me into the police, for some reason, and simply expels me and kicks me out of the dojo.

I wasn't strong enough then and I am still not strong enough to beat him now. Damn you, Bang! I swear you will pay for this!

(Present Day)

I suddenly woke up in a strange place while sweating heavily. I wipe the sweat off my face and look at the room and I don't recognize it at all. Where the hell am I? I slowly sit up and I instantly feel lots of pain. I look down at my body to see that I'm covered in bandages from my shoulders to my ankles and wearing black boxers.

Where is this? I survived? My memory is a bit blurry. I look at a desk lap and see a note on it that says 'To Garou.' I pick it up and read what is written in the letter.

Welcome to the League of Villains,

If you're reading this, it means your life is no longer in danger. But be mindful of who saved you. Rest in your room and don't cause trouble. If you leave now, you'll only be targeted by the heroes again. You need a place to stay. I have prepared clothes for you. Feel free to put them on.

All for One

These idiots? Again?! I crumble the letter up and throw it behind me. No way am I trusting these snakes. "Ow!" I yelp. It hurts so damn much! All over my body. Simply moving a little hurts. But I can't stay here. I'll at least take the clothes.

I see that the clothes are a black skin tight long sleeve shirt, baggy black pants, and my shoes. My limbs feel heavy, and my head is killing me. I'm thirsty and hungry. I need to eat something to recover from the blood loss.

I open the door and look to see that I'm in some kind of hotel-ish hallway. What is this place and how did I get here? That's right, I was fighting the old man when that flying monster came and took me. It looked similar to the Nomu I killed at the USJ. So it must belong to the League of Villains. They are so annoying.

What happened to the old man? Did that centipede…whatever. It doesn't matter anymore. I smell the air and notice something. The air is filled with the stench of alcohol and blood. Makes me wanna puke. "...He's all I hear about." I hear a voice say coming from a room behind the curtain.

I go through it and see that ashy freak, Shigaraki, and Kurogiri. There are three people in the room that I don't recognize, but that doesn't matter. I walk up behind Shigaraki as he rants something about me and Stain to two of the new people. "You two are—" I cut him off by grabbing his wrist as he was about to swing it at the people. "What the hell do you want with me you son of a bitch?" I demand.

Shigaraki slowly turns to me as I let go of his wrist and notice that he was wearing a respirator. Probably from me breaking his ribcage. "G…G…Garou? You're awake?" Shigaraki says in surprise. "N…Now Garou, just wait a moment—" CRUNCH! "GGGAAAHHH!" Kurogiri screams when I smash my fist on the metal neck piece on his body, knocking him. "Kurogiri!" Shigaraki yells as I get closer in his face. "I won't ask again." I threaten him.

"Please, step away from my student, Garou." A voice says. I turn to see a T.V. on with the words 'Sound Only.' "It's a pleasure to finally speak to you Garou." The man says from the T.V. "Who the hell are you?" I ask. "I've been called many names, but you may call me All for One." All for One answers. "Wait, you're All for One? The boogeyman who can take quirks away from people?" I ask. "Ah, so you know me. Good." All for One says with delight.

Before I was diagnosed quirkless, my parents always told me the legend of All for One. He apparently was a man who could take or give any quirk he wanted to anyone. He also lived for hundreds of years because of deaging quirk and has been haunting the people of the world from the shadows. But they were just myths. Nothing but a scary story to frighten children.

"What do you want?" I ask All for One. "I was hoping you could join us." All for One answers. "Why would I join you after this dry face freak betrayed me?" I ask, insulting Shigaraki in the process. "Grr! Why you—" I cut off Shigaraki by chopping his neck, knocking him out. "I apologize for my student's betrayal. He is still learning the ropes of becoming a great villain." All for One explains.

"Now as I was saying, I know that you don't trust us after the USJ, but we are in dire need. Our resources are becoming limited and we are low on members, which is why the two behind you are here for. If you join, then I can assure you that you will have our full cooperation." All for One says. I am not joining them, but he may have something to deal with me if I refuse since I'm injured at the moment.

I think of a way to get out of here when All for One speaks again. "However, there's one thing I need you to do. You see, I'm not sure if you're a true villain or not. So, if you want to join then you must bring me the head of a hero. I don't care who just one will be fine." All for One explains.

This could make getting out of here easier. "Urgh, I'll see what I can do." I answer. "Excellent! However, you have one day to do this. If you fail, well you'll see why I am feared." All for One says as the T.V. turns off. I turn and look at the people behind guys and one girl. The older guy is wearing all purple and is wearing sunglasses, the other guy looks younger, but has burns all over his body with staples holding the dead skin up, and finally the girl is wearing a school girl uniform and has her hair tied in two pony tails.

"You're…Garou?" The girl asked me. "Yeah. Got a problem?" I ask, getting ready for a fight. "EEEEEHHHHH! Oh my god! Oh my god!" The girl yells in excitement as she gets in my face. "I'm Toga! I'm your biggest fan! I love the way you leave the bodies of heroes everywhere in bloody piles! It's so cool!" The girl, Toga, yells with glee. She keeps acting like a fan girl for a while and she doesn't notice me bringing my hand to her neck where I squeeze a spot on her neck, knocking her out.

What the hell is wrong with her?! I look at the other two as they stand there in shock. "I'll just leave." The purple guy says walking out the door. "…If you're just going to stand there with your thumb up your ass, then I'm not gonna even bother with you." I say to the burnt guy as I walk towards the door.

I walk out the door and see that it's about 11:00 am. I don't bother to try and hide my identity because I really don't care now. I just need food and water, that's all. As I walk through the streets, I notice some people holding signs with pictures of me and them chanting, "Garou is the real hero!" Just how long was I out? And why are people calling me a hero? I'm not.

Suddenly, I hear footsteps behind me. Is it a hero? Did they find me already? Well, if they want to fight, I'll give them one. I swung my arm around, ready to chop whoever it is behind me on the neck. "WAIT!" The person yells as I stop my hand in midair, just barely near his neck. I look at who it is and it is that burnt guy from the League's bar.

"Why are you following me?" I ask. "I just want to talk with the infamous Hero Hunter." The burnt guy answers. "I'm not interested in talking, so buzz off or you'll end up with injuries worse than you already have." I threaten him as I walk away. "I can buy you food." The burnt guy says. "What?" I looked at him, confused.

"I can tell you're hungry, so why don't we just go to a nearby restaurant and then we can talk. I'll even pay for the food." The burnt guy says. Hm, I guess this will be a way better way for me to eat at a restaurant without having to dine and dash. And I can get answers to what is going on right now. "Fine. Lead the way." I say.

As we walk, someone pops out of an alleyway with a knife and points at us. "Alright, give me your money and no one gets hurt!" The criminal demands. The burnt guy is about to do something, but I speak first. "You're in the way, so scram you inbred hillbilly." I say, insulting the crook.

"What did you just say to me you punk!" The crook yells as he tries to stab me with the knife. However, I simply grab it and break the blade off from the handle. I point the broken blade a few inches from his eye. "Get out of my sight." I say in a low threatening crook runs off, afraid. I look towards the Burnt guy as he looks scared too. "Let's go." I simply say.

Eventually, we arrive at Logan's SteakHouse, a popular restaurant in America and Japan. "Now that's what I'm talking about." I say, outloud. We walk in and a waitress sit us at a table. "What would you like to drink?" The waitress asks. "I'll take a Peach Margarita." The burnt guy says, now wearing a hood to hide his burnt face. "I'll just take a gallon of water." I say. She nods and goes to get our drinks.

We sit in silence for a few minutes before the burnt guy speaks. "Heh, Can't believe I'm having lunch with the man who fought All Might at equal footing." The burnt guy says. "I would've won if a little brat didn't ambush me." I correct him. "Oh. Well the news said you fought him equally. They didn't say that you nearly beat him." The burnt guy explains. "The HPSC likes to keep secrets." I say.

"My name's Dabi by the way." Dabi says. "That your real name, or is it your codename?" I ask. "Codename. I don't tell people my name unless they really need to know." Dabi explains. The waitress comes back with our drinks. "Thanks." Dabi thanks the waitress. "Are you ready to order?" She asks. "Yeah, I'll take a Sirloin Steak with fries and salad." Dabi tells the waitress his order. "And you sir?" She asks me. I smirk at Dabi as he looks at me weird. "I want every steak on this menu, top to bottom. Oh and bring me all the salads and don't forget tons of water." I give my order.

Both Dabi and The Waitress look at me with shock. "I'll… see what I can do." She says, walking off. "What? You said you would pay." I say to Dabi. "Yeah, but I didn't think you would eat the whole menu!" Dabi yells as I laugh. "So, how long have I been gone?" I ask. "About two weeks. A lot has happened." Dabi says. "Like what?" I ask.

"After your disappearance, a video was released that showed your fight with the heroes in the forest. Many people have sided with you and are calling you a hero for saving that person in the video." Dabi explains. Huh? The only person who was there was…did that turd record the entire fight? "Sigh…Look, I wasn't trying to save the kid. I was trying to make it out alive." I explain.

"Not what the footage showed." Dabi smirks. Ugh! Great! Now people are going to think I'm a hero. "Anyway, later Hosu was attacked by some creatures and…Stain died during the fight." Dabi says, somber. "So, the Hero Killer died? Who did it?" I ask. "Don't know. The news never identified his killer." Dabi explains. "But before he died, he told everyone that you would be the one to reshape society. And since I follow Stain's ideology, I looked up on where to find you so that maybe I could join you in your fight against the world." Dabi explains.

Oh brother. I met Stain once and he was insane. Spouting all this nonsense and how we have the goal, it was annoying. But, he had morals, I can respect that. "I'm not looking for a partner." I tell Dabi. "You could use more help if the heroes ambush you again." Dabi explains. "The only reason they got hits on me was because I was injured." I explain.

"But you're still injured." Dabi says, pointing out the bandages on my hands. "I feel better than before. I will be in full fighting shape in no time." I say. "Well, there's got to be something I can do. I want to follow Stain's last wish." Dabi says. I think about it for a moment and eventually get an idea. "Well, you could be my spy in the League of Villains." I say.

"Hm…I mean, if it helps you, I can work with that." Dabi says. "Alright." I say. The waitress comes back with our food and I have about 15 plates of different steaks waiting for me. "You sure you can—" I cutoff Dabi by eating the steaks in quick succession and drinking about 10 gallons of water in seconds. "Ah, that's better." I say, whipping my mouth with a napkin. "At least you ate all of it." Dabi says, now starting to eat.

"By the way, what's with your hair and eye?" Dabi asks. "What do you mean?" I ask, confused. Dabi pulls out his phone and takes a picture of me and hands it to me. "What the." I say as I look at the photo. My right eye is completely red with my iris glowing yellow, and my hair completely red. "I…don't know." I answer. "Maybe it's your quirk." Dabi suggests.

"No. The doctor said I couldn't develop one. This is different. I'll worry about it later though." I say, handing his phone back. "So, what happened to you?" I ask, pointing out his burns. "I have a powerful fire quirk, but the drawback is that my body was made for an ice quirk not a fire quirk. So I get burned every time I use it. What you see is what happened when I lost control." Dabi explains.

"Yesh. That must've been painful." I comment. "Yeah, but I found ways to use my quirk without burning myself." Dabi says, finally finishing his meal. "I'm heading out now. If you have useful info for me, meet me at the park in Moustafu." I say walking out. "See you later, Garou." Dabi says, paying the check.

Seems things have changed a lot, but I am not afraid. Whatever new threats are out there, I'll face them head on. Then, I can have my rematch with All Might and get payback on the League.

(Note: Thanks for answering my question about which version of Garou you wanted. So, I'll be going with the Manga version and if you're wondering who will fight Garou when he's in his...final form. You'll find out next chapter.)
