it's a nice sunny day in the east blue. The sun is shining. The birds are singing. Everything is going peacefully...
until, BOOOOM!.
Sabo's boat gets shot down by a world noble and explodes and then sinks.
after the world noble's ship sails away from the explosion, Dadan, the bandit leader saw that Sabo is still under the water.
man!. I'm going in, keep the boys here. I'll try to save him said Dadan before jumping into the ocean.
as Dadan dived under the water.
the boys, Luffy and Ace were standing there as told.
as they waited in fear, they worry for Sabo.
just like that, Dadan shows up out of the water. She has Sabo in her arms.
is he...? Asked Ace in fear.
he's alive. But he's badly hurt. We need a doctor asap said Dadan.
I'll go get one, just head back home, I'll bring the doctor there said Makino before running off to find a doctor.
just like that Dadan ran as fast as she can to her house with Sabo in her arms.
[later at night]
as the group waited for the doctor to exit the boys room. they wait with fear for Sabo's life.
just like that the doctor came out of the room.
how is he doc? Asked Ace.
he has a few broken ribs, a burnt scar around his left eye. As well a lot of water in his systems. Other than that, he'll live said the doctor.
thanks doctor said Dadan.
don't thank me. It's a real miracle that he managed to survive all that. It's as if a higher being wants him alive said the doctor before bidding his goodbye.
not knowing what to do. The bandit group went to bed.
Luffy cried himself to sleep.
Ace on the other hand...
he just stared at the door that Sabo is behind.
[3 days later]
as the group was having breakfast. The door to the boys room opened...
to reveal a bandaged Sabo.
hey... everyone said Sabo with a weak voice.
the group was speechless. No one said anything so far. Until
SABO! Screamed Luffy as he ran and hugged his big brother.
hey, Luffy. Good to see your ok said Sabo with a weak smile, as he rubbed luffy's head.
how ya feeling? Asked Ace still a little mad.
I'm still healing said Sabo.
good. If you weren't still hurting. I'd kick your ass said Ace.
I believe ya bro said Sabo.
what were you thinking?. You can't run from your problems. We stick together. Always said Ace.
I can't take another chance. The could have killed you both this time said Sabo.
well ya can stop. They think you died that day said Ace.

I'm still going to be a pirate. But this time. I'm going to be with Luffy. I've been thinking. If Luffy's going to be king of the pirates. Then he's going to need all the help he needs to do so. That's why I'm joining his crew. As advisor and quartermaster. That way, Luffy has a chance to find one piece of said Sabo.
hmm. Very well then. I guess I'm on my own when I turn 17 said Ace.
so your going to join my crew? Asked Luffy getting excited.
you bet little brother said Sabo smiling greatly.
just like that the rest of the day was Sabo getting better.
as time went on Sabo got better and better.
when Sabo turned 13 he bought two 6 shooter revolvers.
when Ace turned 17 he left dawn island saying goodbye to his brothers.
[3 years later]
Luffy and Sabo were at the docks.
Luffy is wearing a red sleeveless vest. A pair of black pants. Some sandals. And his treasured straw hat he got from Shanks.
Sabo is wearing a white button up shirt. A black long coat. Some black pants. Black Shiny shoes. Some brown gloves. And a black top hat on his head.
around his hips are his two revolvers.
looking sharp Sabo said Luffy smiling with excitement.
your one to talk. Sandals, are not very pirate like. You should have let me pick you out some real shoes said Sabo.
I let you pick out my pants, I'm not letting you choose my wear of footwear said Luffy.
whatever, you'll be regretting choosing sandals over real shoes little brother said Sabo.
never going to happen said Luffy.
just like that they are off to the great big unknown, on their little boat.
here we go. The big open sea said Sabo.
just like that a giant sea king shows up out of the water, roaring at the brothers.
crap. I forgot about the sea king said Sabo.
he's mean said Luffy getting up.
careful Luffy. It's nothing like the giant animals we've been fighting. It's a sea king, a very dangerous beast said Sabo.
I know. But I'm not afraid of it said Luffy smiling.
the sea king roars again but mostly at Luffy.
[gum gum... pistol!] yelled Luffy as he stretched his left fist at the sea king's face.
the sea king felt it and was knocked out. The sea king sank back into the water.
Sisisi. That's for Shanks said Luffy before setting back down.
Sabo stares at Luffy with confusion.
what? Asked Luffy.
how? Asked Sabo.
I'm just really strong said Luffy grinned wildly.
sure you are. Best get going. By the way, where to first? Asked Sabo.
no idea said Luffy smiling.
Sabo sighs at that.
looks like we're going to wing it. All well said Sabo.
look out world, here we come. I'm going to be king of the pirates! Said Luffy to the heavens.
and I'll destroy the dark side, of the world government said Sabo.
