Chapter 1 Running into a new path

Running, it's funny. I feel like I have been running my whole life. When I was a kid, my parents got divorced, and I ran from it. I was bullied at school, and I ran from it. Now well now I'm currently running down a dark alley looking for a man name only known to a few. The man I was looking for was named All For One. You may be wondering how I know about him. Well, I don't come from this world. Yeah, that's right I'm a reincarnate. I bet your thinking how lucky of me right?

...Well no with a capital n. I am quirkless and have no power to protect myself from this crazy world. It's the reason that I am searching for AFO.

As I was thinking I turn a corner as rain pours on me.

Right now, I'm searching for the bar in the show that Shigy went to. Hopefully I can get a quirk there. I think optimistically.

-20 minutes later-

As I was running, I was starting to lose my breath. My vision was getting fogy, and I was starting to shiver from the rain, as I was to take a break, I saw something in my blurry vision.

-... bar-

I wasn't able to make out the first word all I saw was bar and I ran for it. I knew the chances were unlikely, but I have to try. I thought as I run up to the door. To my surprise the door had a sign saying open.

Why are they even open at this time? I wondered as I knocked on the door.

Knock, knock, knock.

"It's unlocked." A familiar yet still unfamiliar voice.

I slowly open the door as water drops hitting the old wooden ground. When I stepped in, I saw a shadowy mist in a suit. The mist person was standing behind a counter.

"Um h-hi my name is Yu and I came here to talk to your boss." I said trying not to studder. If I make the wrong move I could be killed.

The mist stopped whipping the counter and went completely still. For a second everything went still. Not even a droplet of water fell.

I could hear the silence it was piercing, and the pressure was horrifying. After a minute the mist spoke.

"What do you wish to speak to him about?" Mist asked.

"I um have information that he would like to know it involves um him and U.A."

The mist looked at me and then disappeared into a portal he made. I stood there completely still. Not moving a muscle. I was trying to prepare with what is to come. Before I could continue my train of thought it was interrupted by a static.

I look over a see the static come from an old tv. I walk over to it as someone spoke from the other side.

"Hello mister Yu. I heard you had some information that I would like to know."

"Yes, mister sir. I wanted to make a trade information in exchange for a quirk." I said with all of the confidence that I could manage.

The conversation went still. Until he spoke up.

"And how do you know about me?" He questioned me.

Okay he doesn't sound mad, but also not happy. Oh, crap I need to think of a story quickly.

" Um well I was um blessed with knowledge. I woke up one day with knowledge of All Might you and even U.A."

" Now what is this trade you wanted?"

I look at the screen and speak.

"I want a quirk in exchange. I'll give you knowledge on the U.A. and how they work. I also know about All Might and his successor."

I could tell I got his interest at that comment from All Might's successor, but he doesn't seem fully convinced yet.

"Um, I will also work for you. All I want is a quirk. I'll take anything."

The line went silent for a moment before AFO spoke up.

"Tell me who is All Might's successor and I'll give you a quirk."

"Izuku Midoriya." I spoke quickly, not caring about him at all over my own safety.

"Izuku Midoriya, you say. Hmm Well in exchange for the information I'll give you a quirk."

A dark purple vortex opened up below me and I fell in. I fell out on the other side in a pitch-black room not being able to see anything. I look up and before I can think of anything a hand is placed on my head.

Pain utter pain. It felt like needles were being placed into my feet. My brain felt like it was being burned the frozen then burned again. My feet felt like they were going inside out and burning.

he then takes his hand off of my hand. I then fall to my knees in relief that the pain was over.

"The quirk I have given to you is called quick feet. Now don't make me regret giving that to you." He says as my vision goes to black and everything fades out.
