Beginning A/N: Well, here's the story that I mentioned in my ending note in Danny Fenton's Spectral Marriage!, a crossover between My Hero Academia and Star Wars: The Old Republic. I was going for an Isekai style story, which I've heard about a lot on this site, so try to keep an open mind about this. I don't know if this, technically, counts as isekai, but even if it doesn't, I hope that you all enjoy it anyway.
Disclaimer: I don't own My Hero Academia or Star Wars: The Old Republic!
Prologue!
On the planet of Deveron, the Republic's forces were fighting with everything they had to defend the Temple of Eedit and prevent it from being captured by the forces of the Separatists. Both Clones and Droids alike were hard pressed to defeat their enemies. And it was here that two Jedi, a Roonan Jedi Master named Halsey and his Padawan, a young Nautolan named Knox, were deflecting blaster bolts left and right and cutting down any battle droids that got too close. Unfortunately, their troubles were only just beginning.
A new craft landed on the battlefield just behind the droid army and a new figure emerged. It was a Zabrak male who had yellow skin and black facial tattoos, and the same yellow eyes as the Sith. Or rather, Dark Side users in general. He was a hulking wall of muscle with sharp horns, nails that were like claws, and he wore armor that looked quite durable. Held in his hand was an ax with a long handle reminiscent of a spear.
This is Savage Opress, the new apprentice to the Sith Lord, Count Dooku.
And he's here on a mission.
Like an unstoppable force of nature, Savage ran ahead into the fray as he knocked aside any battle droid unfortunate enough to be caught in his path. A few clones tried to shoot him down, but he just tanked their blaster bolts and easily cut them down.
"Get him!" exclaimed the commander.
He and the other clones charged in as Halsey and Knox dealt with the last of the droids, but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain. Savage easily dealt with all of them and killed each and every clone that tried to stand against him. It wasn't long before he was facing down the beings who were his primary enemy.
"Jedi…!" snarled Savage.
Halsey was quick to act as he jumped down to confront the behemoth of a Zabrak.
"Master?" gasped Knox.
"Stay back!" Halsey ordered.
He rushed in and tried to cut down Savage with his Lightsaber, but the Zabrak's reaction time was too great. After a few swings, Savage caught Halsey by the wrist and squeezed so hard he caused the Roonan Jedi to drop his weapon, the blade extinguishing before it hit the ground. Disarmed of his primary weapon, Halsey fell back on martial arts. But this only served to annoy Savage as he kneed the Jedi in the gut before knocking him to the ground. Before he could recover, Savage lifted his ax and stabbed the Jedi, killing him instantly!
"Noooo!" Knox screamed in horror and outrage.
As Savage yanked his blade out of the Jedi, Knox charged in to avenge his master. But he was swiftly dispatched and sent crashing into the temple door, dying upon impact as his own Lightsaber clattered upon the ground. With his objective complete, Savage activated his holocommunicator and contacted his master.
"My lord." greeted Savage as Dooku's hologram appeared.
"Is it finished?" Dooku asked.
"Yes. The temple has been taken." reported Savage.
"And the Jedi?" Dooku further inquired.
Savage simply replied by saying, "Dead.".
"Very impressive, Savage. Return to Soreno immediately." Dooku instructed.
"Very well, My Lord." replied Savage.
He ended the transmission and started walking to his ship.
But what the Zabrak failed to notice was that Knox's body was beginning to fade out of existence. It was almost as if he was being erased. But that's not the case. In fact, this is actually an act of the Force in the physical realm. The Great Creator knows that terrible things are coming to the galaxy, and he is working with the Force to stop it.
There's just one final thing left that is needed before this plan can be carried out.
~In Another Dimension…~
Fourteen-Year-Old Izuku Midoriya was sitting alone in his room in the apartment he lived in with his mother. She was working late that day and he had decided to take a break from heroes for a little while. Shocking, I know. But he had recently found an old computer game from the pre-quirk era that was actually still going strong to this very day. A game called Star Wars: The Old Republic. He's been in need of something to do to keep his mind off of the neverending torment he goes through simply because he doesn't have a quirk and decided that playing a Star Wars game may be the closest thing he's ever going to get to having a quirk and being a hero.
Fortunately for him, Katsuki Bakugo, his former childhood friend and now biggest tormentor, wasn't all that interested in tormenting him today. Even his, quote-unquote "friends", didn't spend any time mocking or physically tormenting the young greenette. Which was fine by him.
Just means less burns, bruises, fractures, lacerations, and injuries in general to hide from his mother.
"Now, let's see, what side do I want to join? Maybe fight as a Jedi for the Republic? Nah, that's too predictable. Anyone can be a hero as a Jedi." Izuku pondered to himself as he started customizing his character. "Now, being a heroic Sith! That's unexpected!"
And so, Izuku selected the Empire as his affiliation and decided to play as a Sith Warrior. But before he could go on to fully customizing his character, he found himself growing tired. More and more so by the second. As if he was coming down from a sugar rush.
"Wow, I must be more exhausted than I thought. I guess a quick nap wouldn't hurt…" yawned Izuku as he layed his hands on his arms.
He closed his eyes, falling asleep almost instantly. And as he softly snored away, his computer screen began to glow with a bright light as his body began breaking down into light particles. All of which were absorbed into his computer. Now, you might think that, like Knox, this would be the end for young Midoriya. But you'd be wrong.
This is merely a new beginning.
***To Be Continued…***
Ending A/N: And there's the My Hero Academia/Star Wars crossover that I spoke about in Danny Fenton's Spectral Marriage!, which I hope I did a good job on with the prologue. The real adventure will begin in the next chapter. And hopefully, it was worth the wait, even though it's short and is just the prologue. And much like Danny Fenton's Spectral Marriage!, I don't know when I'll update this story next, so I don't want you people to flood my inbox with messages and reviews asking when I'm gonna update! Okay? Okay. Thank you for understanding. Thanks for reading and I'll see you next time, my hatchlings!
