"So your thoughts, cole?" Jay asked, putting the video game console down, beating Cole for the second time.

Cole sighed in frustration, at being beaten and at the question. "I don't know Jay, it's a little weird, but I'm sure they were just reading comics together or something."

Jay nudged him with his elbow. "But they never came down to dinner last night, you don't think…?"

Cole pushed his elbow away, a bright blush settling on his cheeks. "Oh my god Jay! Don't be gross! We're all brothers!"

"I mean, by that logic Nya's a sister, and me and her-"

"Stop!" The ninja of earth covered his ears. "But if Kai ever did try something like that with our little brother I'd kill him."

Just then Kai entered the living room. "Hey, are you guys playing video games? Can I join ya?"

A silence fell upon them.

"Ha, speak of the devil." Jay chuckled, breaking the silence.

Kai took a seat next to Cole. "What? Why are you guys looking at me like that?"

Cole narrowed his eyes at Kai. "Where's Lloyd?"

The fire ninja shrugged. "I think he's still asleep. He's pretty worn out from yesterday."

Jay shot Cole a look as if to say 'I told you so.'

"Worn out from what? He rested all day yesterday?"

"Oh, probably still worn out from being injured." Kai smirked.

Cole was annoyed. He hated when Kai acted this way. He stood up. "Alright, what did you do to him?!"

Kai threw his hands up defensively. "You know how he was kinda down in the dumps yesterday. I just made him feel better, is all."

Cole crossed his arms. "And just how did you make him feel better!?"

"Hey guys, what's with all the shouting?"

Everybody turned. It was Lloyd. He had a bed head and his eyes were sleepy, but he looked adorable all the same. "Guys?"

Kai got up to go and tousle Lloyd's hair. "Good Morning Blondie, sleep well?" He said with a wink.

Lloyd blushed.

"Alright, I'm gonna go train. See you losers later." Kai winked again and left.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?! We have the day off!" Cole shouted after him.

Jay laughed. "Woah, have good night Lloyd?"

"W-what?" Lloyd stuttered. "It's not what you think!"

"It's not funny Jay!" Cole growled, pinching the bridge of his. "Lloyd, just tell me the truth, did Kai.. Did Kai fuck you?"

Lloyd clenched his teeth at the harshness of Cole's words. He thought about lying, but there was no way Cole would believe it, not with how obvious Kai was.

"Yeah…"

Cole looked concerned. "Did he hurt you?"

He could start to feel heat prickle his ears. "No, not at all… I wanted it."

"Oh." Cole's expression softened a bit.

"Please don't tell Sensei Wu or my dad about this!" He couldn't even imagine what his dad would do if he found out.

Cole put a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "I'm not going to tell, I just wanted to make sure you were alright. Just be careful Kai doesn't hurt you alright? If he does anything that makes you uncomfortable, you come straight to me, got that?"

Lloyd nodded. "Thanks Cole…" He knew that he would never have to, but he appreciated the sentiment. "I should go train too. You know since I missed out on a day."

"Hey, about that, is your injury feeling better?" Cole called after him, but Lloyd was already gone.

Cole sighed. "This is all too weird. I'm going to have to talk to Kai about this later."

Jay snorted.

"What?"

"Like you don't have a mega crush on Zane!"

Cole blushed. "Shut up!"

Lloyd went to find Kai. Maybe they could train together, Lloyd thought to himself with a smirk. Sure he was sorta upset with Kai for being so open. It was a little embarrassing that Jay and Cole knew, but he was just glad that Kai had reciprocated his feelings. He went outside to check the deck but he wasn't there, so he went to check his room. On his way he passed by the kitchen. That's right he hadn't eaten anything yet. It was another hot morning and nothing sounded better than an ice pop.

He got to the fridge and reached for a lime flavored popsicle, but stopped when he heard the voice of his father from behind him.

"Llloyd."

Lloyd turned around, but refused to make eye contact with him. The little bit of happiness he felt before quickly diminished. He still felt upset about the way he had been punished. It wasn't fair.

"It was only a lesson, son."

"Some lesson…" He grumbled.

"Please son, at least look at me when I speak to you."

Lloyd hesitantly went back to digging around the freezer, pretending as if his father wasn't even there.

"Lloyd." Garmadon said, a little more sharply.

The boy clenched his hand around a popsicle and gritted his teeth. He almost said something, but he didn't want to give his dad the satisfaction. He took the popsicle and brushed past him.

"Son, I-"

But Lloyd didn't wait to see what he was going to say and quickly headed to Kai's room.

Gamadon was left in the kitchen alone.

He sighed. "Maybe I went too far."

Lloyd opened the door to Kai's room not bothering to knock, he just wanted away from his dad.

Kai was sprawled out on his bed scrolling on his phone. He looked up at Lloyd.

"Hey Greenie, I was just thinking about you~"

Lloyd frowned.

"You okay?"

Lloyd sat next to Kai and ripped off the popsicles wrapper. He shook his head.

"Is this about Cole and Jay? I didn't mean to embarrass you."

"No, I don't care." He took a lick of the popsicle. It was so cool and sweet. It was exactly what he needed. He closed his eyes and let the popsicle melt on his tongue.

"So, what's wrong?"

Lloyd grumbled still sucking on the popsicle.

Kai stared at Lloyd. His soft pink lips wrapped around the popsicle, a little juice running down the side of his mouth. Kai swallowed and wished his mouth was wrapped around something else. He sighed and shook his head trying to bring his thoughts back to the problem at hand.

"Greenie, as cute as it is to see you suck on that popsicle, you're gonna have to quit distracting me and tell me what's wrong."

Lloyd felt his face heat up. He plopped the popsicle out of his mouth. "It's my dad."

"You still upset about that?"

"Yeah…"

Kai put a hand on Lloyd's shoulder. "Well you should be. He had no right to hit you. Parents should never hit their kids." The only one who should have Lloyd over their lap is me, Kai thought to himself.

"Was that the first time he did that?"

Lloyd shook his head and pouted.

Kai scoffed. "How many times?"

Lloyd shifted uncomfortably not wanting to be talking about something so embarrassing. "I don't know, just a couple… But it wasn't so bad except for this last time.. That was the worst ever." He took a couple bites of the popsicle, finishing it. "It hurt so bad, Kai. I don't know if I can forgive him…"

Kai brought Lloyd closer to him and wrapped him in a soft warm hug. "I'm sorry Lloyd. I should have stopped him. I should have protected you, I was just so shocked…" He paused. "And sorta turned on…"

Lloyd cringed.

"B-but, I promise I won't ever let it happen again! I won't ever let him hit you again."

Lloyd snuggled into him. "How?"

"I'll have a talk with him."

Lloyd pulled away from Kai. "No, I can handle this myself…" He didn't want Kai to get too heated up and make things worse.

"How about we talk to him together?"

"No, really it's fine. This is my fault…"

"It's not. I couldn't confront him then, so I have to now."

Lloyd looked up at Kai, emerald eyes on amber. "Okay. We'll talk to him together."

Kai smiled. "Let's go."

"What now?" Lloyd bit his lip. He really didn't know if he had it in him to confront his father now, but he knew if waited any longer everyone would start to wonder why he was avoiding him, and he didn't need anybody else finding out that the green ninja was still getting spanked at seventeen.

He swallowed, "Okay. Let's go."

They were about to get up when there was a knock on the door.

"Kai, are you in there? It's Sensei Garmadon. Is Lloyd with you?"

They both looked at eachother. Putting on a brave face, Kai got up to let him in.

"Come on in." He said flatly.

Garamdon looked over at Lloyd. "Son, I have to talk to you, and I would appreciate it if you listened to what I had to say."

Lloyd wiped his mouth with the back of his hand for any remaining juice and looked towards Kai for reassurance.

Kai nodded. "Actually sensei, there's something I gotta tell you first."

Garmadon raised an eyebrow at him. "Is that so?"

"Yeah. We both do." Kai puffed up his chest a bit. "I don't want you hitting Lloyd."

"Kai, you are not his father, I am. You don't get to make that decision."

Kai clenched his jaw. "No, but I'm his…uh brother." Kai grimaced. It felt wrong to say that after what they did just the night before. "And that means I have to protect him."

"Kai, perhaps it would be better if I talked to my son alone."

"No, not until I'm done talking to you." Kai took a deep breath. "Listen, I don't understand how you can hurt and humiliate your kid like that. He's seventeen! You can't just put him over your knee and spank him like a freaking five year old! Heck you shouldn't even hit five year olds! What the hell is wrong with you!?"

Lloyd swallowed as he watched his father's face change from stoic to angry. This wasn't going to be good.

Garmadon looked like he wanted to ring the fire ninja's neck, but somehow he held it together. "Kai. I would recommend that you give me and Lloyd some room to speak. Please leave."

Lloyd kinda almost half smiled. He was proud of his dad for keeping his cool. "It's okay Kai."

Kai gave him a look of concern. "Are you sure?"

"Yeah, it's fine."

Kai wanted to stay, but Lloyd looked pretty confident now so he respected his wishes and left.

Garmadon sat next to Lloyd. He let out a ragged sigh. "Son… Son I'm sorry."

Lloyd's ears perked up. "You are?"

"Yes. I am. I went too far."

Lloyd was shocked he never expected for his father to admit he was wrong.

"I was just upset and concerned. When you put yourself in dangerous situations that you don't have to be in, it just makes me worried."

"But I'm a ninja, that's kinda what we do…"

"But you're still my son. I don't know what I would do if something happened to you, and while you're under the influence you sometimes don't have control of yourself. Someone could take advantage of you, or you could hurt yourself. You're still not fully grown up, you know."

Lloyd furrowed his eyebrow. "But I'm not a little kid either."

They sat there in silence for a bit, neither one of them saying anything.

"I can't promise that I won't ever do it again, however I can promise that in future I'll try to remain a little calmer. Can you forgive me son?"

Lloyd didn't say anything.

"You can't stay angry at me forever."

"I'm not angry dad… I can't stay angry at you. You're my father. No matter what, I love you." And in a way, he thought to himself, without knowing it his dad actually helped him get closer to Kai. So he couldn't be too upset about it anymore, could he?

Garmadon gave his son a hug.

Lloyd hugged him back a little apprehensively.

"I'm going out with Misako and Wu, so I'll see you this evening. I love you Lloyd."

Lloyd gave a half hearted smile.

"Bye son."

"Bye."

Kai was behind the door with his ear pressed against it, straining to see if he could hear anything. He heard footsteps and quickly got out of the way.

"Kai,"

"Sensei," He said cooly, trying to look as though he wasn't just listening in.

As soon as Garmadon left Kai rushed back inside his room.

"Is everything cool?"

Lloyd nodded. "Yeah, I think so."

Kai smiled.

Lloyd walked over to the brunette and put his arms around his neck, just barely being able to reach on his tippy toes. "And it was all thanks to you. Thank you for standing up to him like that. If it wasn't for you I don't think he would've admitted he was wrong."

Kai kissed his forehead. "Of course~"

Lloyd let go of him, a bright blush setting on his cheeks. "I-I want to do something to thank you."

"Oh?" Kai said, already getting excited.

"Yeah…" He looked down at the floor and tucked a stray piece of hair out of his face. "Something special."

Kai's mind went back to Lloyd sucking on the popsicle. "L-like, like what?"

"Just tell me what you want…"

Kai grabbed Lloyd's face and cradled his cheek in his hand. He traced his thumb over Lloyds bottom lip and smiled.

"You've got such a pretty little mouth~ It drove me nuts the way you were sucking on that popsicle," He smirked. "Wanna wrap those pretty little lips around something else."

Lloyd averted his eyes and shied away a little.

Kai backed up. "Unless you don't wanna, I just thought-"

"No! I want to! I mean… I really want to do this."

Kai ran his hand through his spiky hair. "Well then, if you really want to~"

Lloyd lowered himself down onto his knees.

Jay cocked his head to one side. "Hmm, more like a listening Tom."

"Whatever you sicko."

Jay laughed again.

"What?!"

"Like you don't wish you could make Zane moan like that!"
