Alexia wasn't impressed by Cid's confession towards her, he sounded like one of those innocent boys who didn't know how to kill.

But if it meant having her fiancé (who she really didn't like) to leave her alone (hopefully) then she settled down to pretend that the two of them are dating.

'I wonder, what will brother Corneus say about this?' She wondered, and immediately began walking to the administration building in the academy, leaving Cid alone very dumbfounded.

So what did happen?

Once she arrived to his room in the academy, she noticed that he was looking at several papers, one of which noticably had Zenon's picture on it.

"Hm, it seems my sister has arrived this early. What do you need?" He asked after taking a long glance at her face.

"Someone confessed to me."

"And your rejected him?"

"Huh? No way, I was amused by his confession so I accepted his confession."

Softly nodding his head, Corneus asked her about the appearance of the boy, and once she told him, he nodded again.

"That boy is Cid Kagenou, the younger brother of Claire Kagenou, and a very average looking boy with a below decent background compared to his sister. I don't really mind letting you two have a date, but..."

Corneus stood up slowly, shifting his glasses a little bit while he stared towards his sister.

"Starting tomorrow, I'll make watchful eyes between the two of you at times, I'm just being cautious. Oh, and bout Zenon, I'll handle him myself."

"Thank you, brother." Claire replied with a smile, before she turned around to leave.

When he was alone, Corneus lifted up the paper that contained incriminating evidence about Zenon.

"Just a little more, then my Dragoons and Valkyries blended within the academy will take action. High treason shall not be tolerated."

The next day, due to Cid being known as Alexia's new boyfriend, many eyes were on him and he just didn't care much other than knowing that this happened to him because of some mild blunder.

He was even talked about by the fellow students all around him!

In fact, it invigorated his Mob Instincts more! He wanted to completely ruin his and Alexia's relationship through trying his hardest to be average!

In the cafeteria, his lunch was simple porridge served to lower class nobles and commoners who were skilled enough to join the academy.

Pretty average, as many would say.

Now, sitting in front of his fellow mobs, Po and Skel, he verily expected this time to be average as he knew it.

The two complained that Cid was just too average for this, and no was should he have been accepted by the princess as her girlfriend!

And before he could begin eating his porridge, Po and Skel were noticably staring towards somebody.

"Hm? What is it?" He asked, pretending to not notice who was standing beside him before slowly glancing at her.

Alexia gave Cid a very intimidating glare that would have scared the other students, yet he looked pretty blunt.

"Excuse me, can I sit beside you?" She asked, and Cid complied after his mob friends did as asked.

Cid glanced at the maid right behind Alexia, and noticed a really noticable facial feature that was present on her.

'Huh, she looks like Alpha's twin... No, is she her sister? Her niece? She really does feel similar to Alpha, though. Should I ask her?'

Without much to say, Cid silently glanced at the dishes served on the table, and they all looked well prepared and are mouthwatering.

'Okay! Here's to step one of my super mob heartbreak plan!' He excitedly yelled inside his head, before using his chopsticks to take out one of the foods, specifically a cube of beef.

"Thank you for the food~!"

Without waiting for a response, Cid immediately began to eat it, before focusing on the other food presented.

This mere act of him surprised all the students in the cafeteria, except Alexia who stared at Cid with intent to observe.

The more she observed, the more he looked more interesting than Zenon or any other person that had confessed to her.

Someone as shameless as him made her feel like she could at least keep him for a long while. That isn't even her problem.

Her time of silence was up, she had to speak, while noticing for even a split second that he was surprised.

'Oh? What's this? He's trying to get me to stop being his girlfriend? Too bad...'

"I hear you were going to study the Royal Bushin in the afternoon. How about we take class together?" She spoke, knowing that everyone is surprised even for a moment. "Hm, yeah, I could make my brother put you into Section One. No excuses."

In an instant, Skel leaned forward, slamming his fist to the table and interrupting Cid from eating, and Alexia from telling her supposed boyfriend something.

"What?! Section one? Impossible!" Skel had a look of fear on his face, it's as if he was feeling quite worried about Cid. "Cid, please reject it! You'd be placed in training hell!"

And then, Po stepped in.

"Hmph! Being in sections three to one in Bushin Education allows for a better chance at joining the prestigious Dragoons!"

"This is a royal decree, not some invitation! You can't stop me..." Alexia claimed, looking incredibly smug while she was serious about.

"Hahaha..." Cid awkwardly chuckled, that was enough information he needed. "Well, I guess I have no other choice..."

Po and Skel gave him a salute, wishing him good luck, and by that time Cid was already finished consuming the dishes that were for Alexia.

Now, Alexia stared at Cid the moment he tested out the heavier weights that were forced into him by some envious, unruly students after he was introduced to this section.

It's strange to say that he actually moved easily while wearing those heavier looking weights, maybe those were not that heavy? Some questions that don't need answering were surrounding Alexia's head.

If ever there may be a time where Magical Power is unable to be used, then Physical Abilities may give you a chance. But those said weights also allow one to stimulate their Magical Power through constantly making the user exert it.

There were some complaints placed on the weights, but said complaints were from more concerned students.

Anyway, once they decided to begin sparring, Alexia couldn't help but notice that Cid's fighting style reminded her of herself and her brother's own fighting style, which was purely basic.

The only difference is that, her brother would refine even the most basic of techniques and combine them into one, incredibly powerful one.

She hasn't even seen him fight seriously.

With each swing, Alexia and Cid danced in a metaphorical manner, and this went on for until the bell rang

"Well, time's up. You can all go out now." Zenon spoke, and the many background characters, except a few staying inside to have a moment of chatting left.

Alexia, however approached him.

"This is your answer? You know you shouldn't be running away, even if my status of being your fiancee isn't even public, Corneus trusted me, after all!" Zenon stated, and Alexia couldn't help but be annoyed by it.

"Hmph, you serious? Cid is my boyfriend, you're my fiance. There's a difference. And how will my brother even trust you in the first place?" She rebuked, placing her fists above her hips and staring up to the older man.

In the background, Cid left and Zenon took a short glance on him.

"Someone as average as him? For Goddess's sake, stop pretending. After all, your time is about to come."

For some reason, that sentence alone felt like an ominous foreboding about something would eventually happen.

"I don't know what you're talking about, Zenon. But, if you keep up that act, I won't hesitate in striking you down."

"If you could."

With that, Alexia left the building, feeling more cautious of Zenon than ever, even thinking of a way to have Cid intensify their act of dating.

So, it wasn't soon enough that she began treating Cid like a dog, which to her was pretty amusing as he was very attracted to coins and had caught all those gold coins that costed 10 thousand Zeni between his lips.

It felt nice, really.
